Oh snap!!! This place is awesome, I don't think I have ever had good Thai food before. What a Feast! I believe we got food enough to feed 6. We did the Family Dinner for Three. Basically appetizer, soup and 4 entrees plus rice. I'm not kidding you!!! The service was amazing and the food presentation even better. The Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee were amazing. Also the best cheese cream puff I have ever eaten in my life. P.S. Our server kept saying oh snap, I had to start a review with that.

Our go-to restaurant whenever we feel like Thai food! We love the green curry and the spring rolls! But seriously, everything we have ordered here has been good. Been meaning to try their dinner-for-2. $13 per person and you get a lot of food! Try this place out if you haven't already experienced its AWESOMENESS!

We had Pad Prik King (string beans), Pad Kra Pao Moo Sup, lettuce wraps, Singha, and Thai ice tea. All for $33. Deal. Jen was our server. She was great Thus is the place to get great Thai food in Boise area.

Why have you not eaten here yet?? DO IT!! Stopped in for a QUICK lunch the other day and recieved the same 5 star experience I have come to expect from this place. - Appetizer was a hot N sour soup, it was flavorful and had a zing at the end. I really enjoyed the wake up sent to my taste buds from the variety of spices. BEST PART IS IT'S FREE! -Lunch I ordered chicken fried rice and everything was steaming hot, tender, and just melted in on my mouth. All for just $6.95 -Service was top notch! We were promptly seated, greeted, and our order was taken with in 5 minutes. All throughout we were checked up on and our drinks remained constantly refilled.

Fantastic food that I've ever ate at this restaurant. I had Pad Thai noodles and pineapple fried rice and it was too much to finish. Need room for dessert. Lol

Got to eat some amazing food with some amazing friends! Pad Thai was sooooo delicious down to the dessert.

5 star food, absolutely. Every last thing that came out tasted amazing, down to the Rangoon-like puff that came with my daughters chow mein. Pad Thai, fresh spring rolls with shrimp, even the little starter salad had delicious dressing. We are selective meat eaters, and everything was great vegetarian with tofu. I'd give them four stars because the bathroom needed attention, but the food more than made up for it.

Pretty good. I was a bit surprise that there were a Lot of people at noon Friday. People are waiting in line. Actually it's the first I see ppl are waiting in a restaurant here at boise.

Ordered takeout for dinner and stopped by after picking up my son from daycare. I ordered the dinner for two and seeing as how it's quite a bit of food and a handful to carry with my son in tow, they insisted on helping me to my car. I politely declined because I thought it'd be fine being parked relatively close to the entrance, but the kind woman (owner?) absolutely insisted. Incredibly thoughtful and gracious.... :)

Best Thai in the Treasure Valley! Yummy and affordable! My family of 4 ordered fried rice, pad Thai noodles, and 1 Thai tea (and 3 waters) and the total was $21!!! And we had leftovers! Definitely would recommend it! The only negative is that the service is a little slow. But food is delish and servers are super friendly! So to me it's worth the wait. I will be back again... And again. I'll be a regular for sure! Can't wait to try the other dishes!!

Great Thai food at real reasonable prices. Visited at lunch time and it was busy for a Thursday, looks like the words already out. Tried the Pad Kra Poa with meat, good sauces vegetables where fresh and had good texture. The meat was soft and marinated to perfection, try the lettuce wrap and enjoy the rice chicken soap for starters.

I was in town for work and found this awesome little gem. I got there right before closing but they were friendly and didn't rush me at all. This place is awesome! :) will definitely be back. I recommend the pad Thai and egg rolls-delish!!!

I visited Pad Thai House for the first time last night. I was exceedingly pleased by the hospitality, service, quality, and presentation! Nong was my food server an she is a sweetie! The Cha Yor and Pra Ram Long Song were exceptional! I am spoiled by SoCal cuisine, so it is wonderful to find top notch restaurants in Boise! I will return!

I had Panang Curry which is my litmus test for Thai restaurants. The curry sauce was very good but the only vegetables in it were string beans. Hey, how about you add some green and red peppers or lemongrass ( but definitely not a can of peas and carrots like another Thai restaurant that I visited). There was a couple leaves in it that I couldn't identify and also couldn't chew. I pushed the leaf things aside. The wife had the Pad Thai that was very good and it better be since the restaurant is called Pad Thai House. Back to the Panang Curry - it wasn't on the 6.95 lunch menu, it cost 9.50 which is a bit high. I ordered it with tofu instead of the main menu-listed beef. Before the main meal arrived they started us off with a soup (egg drop maybe). It had the consistency of thick snot but didn't taste as good. It was too thick. Next time I'll tell them, "Never mind on the soup, please." We ended the meal with the Fried Coconut Ice Cream. It's like Mexican Fried Ice Cream with a coating made from something other than corn flakes, I guess it was a rice based concoction. I liked it, a lot. Service was very good - waitress was attentive and friendly. I'll go back unless I can find a better place.

Off the menu, you can spice it up. I asked for the spiciest and it was a joke (level 20). I've had horse radish that had more bang. Aside from the spice, the flavor was not good. Food beyond that was mediocre. Service was ok. Overall, a lot to be desired. I probably won't be back for a while if I can't find better Thai elsewhere.

I run a restaurant explorers group though Meet ups. This was our 2nd restaurant to explore. When I 1st arrived here, it was busy. It was Saturday night after all. I was very happy to see that they had our table waiting for us, so we were able to walk right in, and sit right down. I did not let my hair grow long though. The only other Thai place I have explored in the Boise area is Say-wa-dee in Meridian. Compared to that place, this is a palace. It was clean, and up to date. They have a lot on their menu. I highly recommend going to their web site 1st and looking at what you think you might want. ( on a side note, I have yet to find this places web site. There is a link to a non-existent site here in yelp.) I had a Thai Iced tea. I had this at Sa-Wa-Dee, so I wanted to have this here as well to compare. If you have not had Thai Iced Tea before, it is not that much different than regular iced tea other than the look of it. It is a very strong tea black tea with half and half in it. On a side note, Im doubtful that half and half is authentic in Thai food. Just from a flavor point, I would use coconut milk. I think using coconut milk would give this not only an interesting taste element, but also offset the the very strong bitterness of the tea with some needed sweetness. I will not order this again. On their menu, they have a legend at the bottom of 1 to 4 heat levels. I loved this idea excect they could take it a step further. Everyone, and every restaurant, has their own idea of what hot and mild is. What one person thinks is hot, another person is going to think is ketchup. Same goes for restaurants. So what I would like to see here is some sort of scale that people can really relate it. How about relating the restaurants heat levels to something that we all know? For example, they could have a sliding scale with ketchup on 1 end and the hottest peppers imaginable on the other. Something like this so that people can actually get a visual concept of that restaurants idea of heat. Individual dishes have the normal pepper beside the dish to indicate that it is spicy, but you can also order any dish any heat level you wish. I had mine #2 on their scale. I had the Beef Panang. I had never had this before, or even heard of it, but since this group is all about trying new places and new food, I thought...Why not! The dish arrived in a bowl like a soup. This I was not really expecting, but then again, I had not idea what to expect, so this was fine. I was also given a large bowl of white rice, so I was happy. The first thing I tried was the dish right out of the bowl. it was not as hot as some of the other peoples dishes in our group that had ordered #2, but it was hot. I then took the dish and mixed it with rice. With the white rice added, it was down right mild. Almost ketchup level mild. The Beef Panang is a coconut curry based dish. Way to sweet and way to coconuty for my taste. The coconut flavor overpowered everything. I was unable to taste anything at all, but coconut! There were slices of beef in the dish, but if I were to close my eyes and take a bite, I would not have known there was any meat in here at all. There was also some sort of green beans in the dish, but same as the beef, if I had not seen them, I would have had no idea that they were here. I did eat it and did like it, but to determine if something was really good, ask yourself; "Would I order this again?" To that I would have to answer no. Another member of our party ordered something called a Bird Nest. It was pan friend noodles in a peanut based sauce. The sauce itself was very good. The atmosphere here is good, but for me, way to many statues of their Hindu god. This is simply a matter of taste, so I neither gave points or took them away for this. I would come here again as there are many many more things on the menu that I would love to try. I do hope that they get a web site up soon, though the lack of one one did not seem to prevent people from coming.

I'm not a Pad Thai fan. Fair, or not, I judge all Thai restaurants based on two dishes, Tom Ka Soup and Chicken Cashew. The soup (called Tom Kar here) is excellent, but I've had better chicken cashew. The Pad Thai House version is heavy on celery and light on cashews and flavor. Traditional Thai atmosphere and good service.

I live pretty close to here, so whenever I'm craving Chicken Pad Thai, this is the place I go. We usually get take out, but the service has always been decent when we decide to dine in as well. Every dish I've gotten here has been really good, except the Honey Glazed Roasted Duck. It was unfortunately quite dry and flavorless. But that should not turn you away! The curries are wonderful and flavorful and the Pad Thai is delicious. I'll definitely keep coming back here. Like others have mentioned, it's not fancy, but it's far from run down. Just a solid, reasonably priced, thai restaurant.

I had the Tom Yum soup with Shrimp, which was fantastic. I order it with medium heat which had a kick. For my entree, i went with the Birds Nest. It was excellent! I highly recommend it! Dessert was deep fried bananas. . Yum!

I am a big fan of curry and so I ordered the red curry with chicken. I liked that they had a scale for different degrees of hotness(1-2-3-4 peppers) on the menu. Our waiter (Benz) also took the time to explain that since peppers are in season, so they would be especially spicy. I like a little heat with my curry, but no so much that my taste buds shut down in self-preservation. The 2-pepper red curry was delicious. I especially liked the taste of the creamy coconut milk that permeated the dish. The one thing I wasn't crazy about were the bay leaves that needed to be picked out of the curry bowl but it certainly wasn't fatal to the enjoyment of the dish. The curry was served with steamed white rice, which had the perfect consistency of not too soft and sticky but also not too dry. The dinner salad was the one other thing that I wasn't thrilled with. The dressing was interesting with the toasted sesame seeds, but the salad was mostly iceberg lettuce and a few julian sliced carrots. But that's not enough to stop me from giving them 5 stars. We had dinner on a Saturday night and this place was packed. The wait line was almost out the door. But even as busy as it was, our table received good service, and our waiter was personable, friendly, and humorous (which is always a huge plus for me). I would definitely like to go back and try other items on the menu.

In my opinion, this is the best Thai food in the Treasure Valley. Great for dining in for lunch with soup included with the lunch portions. Amazing pad Thai, the spicy noodle dish makes my mouth water just writing this, lettuce wraps are fresh and light, and the pho definitely satisfies. The service is great, the staff is always super friendly. This is a once a week stop for me.

The curry dishes are delicious. I like my food fairly spicy and 2 stars was almost too much to handle. So I would recommend you adjust your order accordingly. Service on the other hand. Terrible. We were promptly seated. Then were left for a long time until hostess noticed we were just sitting. She took our drink order then waitress came and apologized and took our order. Our food then came out super fast. But then. Nothing. The place wasn't even full, and there seemed to be plenty of staff on hand. But server was so busy with other tables or something we never saw her again until way after we were done. Needed water refills and wanted to order more food. But never mind. Another couple seated after us ended up leaving and no one even noticed. They did stop at the front to complain. I might return someday. But they will have to improve their service if they ever want to see me again.

We have been here 3 times for lunch and dinner and always have found the food to be very good. If they had half star rankings, this would be 4 1/2 stars. The place isn't fancy, but it isn't run down either. People go here for the food and good service, not the atmosphere. This time we had the fried tofu appetizer with peanut sauce, pork chow mien, and the honey glazed roasted duck. The chow mein was made with wok stir fried noodles of a thicker caliper, more like udon than thin egg noodles. Although the description is pan fried, they are soft not crunchy. Level 3 spicy, out of 4, was comfortable, but not caustic. Flavor was excellent. The duck was very good and cleaver chopped into bite-sized pieces, in a typical Asian fashion. At $10.50, the duck was a good price. They do their duck dishes in an authentic manner and we would have it again here. There was enough left over of the chow mein and duck for another meal for two of us. Previous visits we have had the pad Thai, green curry with chicken and lettuce wraps. All were good. We have eaten at their other restaurant, Thai Basil, Meridian, and quality, menu choices, and prices are about equal. Service has always been prompt and cordial. Only suggestions we would offer are for the beer to be colder and the tea to be hotter. No checks, but credit cards and cash. Access is good and tables are not sardine tight.

During busy times these guys unplug their phone which is their answer for providing great customer experience during busy hours. Then if you decide to go in there's 5-6 people doing the same job. Why can't one person take phone orders for take out? Avoid this restaurant if you prefer quality customer service.

Never disappointed when I have eaten here. The Pad Thai is really good, but the curries are really great. Tonight I had the angel wing panang curry and it was amazing and messy but worth it. This place is really a gem in Boise, best Thai food in Boise.

Outstanding Chicken Panang!! Worth five stars by itself. Can't beat a good Singha beer either. This is officially on our short list of favorite restaurants EVER...!!! Chiang Mai, Thailand has the best food on the planet and this tasted exactly the same!! Will definitely be back to try the green papaya salad and some of the soups. Wasn't planning on being on this side of town at all today. Good karma strikes again...

I have to do it. I have to upgrade them to a perfect 5 stars. After stopping in for lunch the other day and discovering that they serve many of the same dishes for about half the price of dinner, they tipped the scales. This place is the bomb-especially at such a great price. Go...you won't be disappointed.

This is supposed to be a Thai place but I ordered Pho when I saw it in the menu. Big mistake. Will need to revisit for a Thai dish and adjust the stars later.

I approve of this place. Was in Boise over the weekend for a wedding and came here for lunch before our flight back. Our party of 4 arrived at 11:15 and were the first ones there. The place was very clean and looked very nice. We ordered Spicy Thai Wings, authentic level, which is suppose to be the spiciest, Spicy Thai Fried Rice, medium level, Pad See Ew, and Green Curry. Oh first, we did get some rice soup that was very good, with some garlic flavor. We asked for the food to come together but it came out one by one anyway. Whatever, we're all hungry. The Spicy Thai Fried Rice came out with the Green Curry, and something smelled SOOO good. I was trying to figure out which plate it was coming from, and then I tried the fried rice. MMMMM SO delicious!! Something about the flavor of it makes it oh so good. The green curry was good too. Creamy and coconut-y. The pad see ew and spicy thai noodles came and they were both very good. I liked the spice in the spicy thai noodles, but liked the beansprouts and broccoli in the pad see ew. I finished those noodles up! The Spicy Thai wings are good too...but it was definitely not that spicy. I love spicy but normally can't take much of it, but this one I ate a whole piece without having any problems. The sauce is still very good, just not spicy as we'd hoped. Then came the fried coconut ice cream. OMG! It is AMAZING. Please please PLEASE try it! My boyfriend that normally doesn't like sweets took multiple bites of it. The outside was crispy and the ice cream inside was still very frozen. I will definitely come back just for dessert whenever I go back to Boise.

We have eaten here numerous times and also ordered take out. Their food is the best Thai I have ever had. They are just across town from us and wish they were closer. The take out portions seem to have gotten smaller but the quality of the food has remained the same EXCELLENT! Have recently found out they have opened a new resturant called Thai Basil supposedly owened by the same family. The food is good but not great there seems to be short on the flavor compared to this resturant. I will keep going out of my way just to get their food just wish the portions were a bit larger like they used to be.

Coming from Vancouver we had a craving for Asian food while visiting Idaho. This place is amazing. The green curry was one of the best I've ever had. On par with the best places in Vancouver. Good service and plentiful portions. Would visit again absolutely. Highly recommend

I give them a five star rating because of their excellent service and delicious food. The pad Thai though was not even close to good though. I do not recommend that one. I do although recommend their Tom yum soup. It was delicious!

This is the best Thai food we've tried in Boise. There are a few staff members who typically remember us and our orders, which is nice. Service is typically pretty good. But let's be honest, we come for the... FOOD! Let's talk starters: the fresh rolls are exactly what you'd expect and so crispy-delicious; the salad, which is seriously that iceberg mix with carrot shreds, has the most amazing creamy sesame dressing (we could drink it); the tom yum koong (a soup, which we get b/c it's supposedly made with shrimp stock) should be ordered extra spicy and it will destroy you, but is full of the most excellently-textured mushrooms and shrimp. The flavor is complex and elegant, even when it's spicy as hell. I like to go for the honey roasted duck, because I'm a big duck fan (bone-in, in case you aren't into that). Their phad thai is very decent and a solid go-to if you're feeling uninspired. Otherwise, there is a dish of tofu with spinach, crispy red onions and peanut sauce that just slays me, it's so good. We also like to get green curry with shrimp or tofu. I've heard of tons of other amazing dishes, we just haven't had enough time to try them all. COME AND GET SOME LEGIT THAI!

This is the only Asian food place I can tolerate here in Boise...I come from China and love the Thai iced tea here!!!! Always just wanna drive by and just get the ice tea to go. Also the food here has a lovely look and good taste, but my husband wants to try something new bc I come here too many times

Good food would be a 4 star review but the service was awful. It was unprofessional and slow with very few tables occupied and 3 servers on staff so no excuses.

Great food!! Awesome service! The pineapple fried rice was great! The pinang chicken curry authentic style (spicy) was bomb!! my girl had the padthai which was very dry. The waitress agreed and made us a fresh order and apologized! Great restaurant and awesome service !

  • Aaron T.

This place is soooooooo good. You can tell by the dining room always being packed. I cant quit going here, Somebody stop me please. 4 levels of heat for your food, so if you dont like it hot and spicy then you can get it mild.

    (5)
  • Emilee D.

Great pad thai, and I love that they don't skimp on the spice levels. The service has always been great, even if they're busy. Always a good choice!

  • Brandon A.

Coming from Seattle, where Thai food is authentic and plentiful, this restaurant was mediocre at best. The pad Thai was too strong with the oil flavor and the curry was closer to beef stew than actual curry. From what I have had from Boise this place is good. From what I have had in Seattle its terrible.

  • Kerisa K.

Delicious Thai food in Boise! After reading the reviews my husband and I decided to give it a try. Being born and raised in SoCal we had high expectations when it comes to ethic food and this place didn't disappoint!!! The Tom Kar Gai soup was the best we'd ever had. My husband had the Hobey glazed duck and he devoured it!! I had the chicken pad thai which was also delicious! Portions are big. We had leftovers for lunch the next day and it somehow managed to taste even better! Will definitely be back and will bring family to try it out when they come up for a visit!!

  • Lee L.

BOISE, ID: This is a dependable, delicious Thai food stop for a nice lunch. The ambience is not fancy, the Pad Thai is very good and you'll have a bit left over for dinner. The service is fine, and although its not a place you might rave about, it is a place you will come to satisfy a Thai craving at a fair price.

  • Dillan T.

Delicious and cheap! Ordered the shrimp fresh rolls, chicken satay, spicy fried rice with tofu and duck red curry. All were very good. Surprised by the salads before our meal, the dressing was sweet and yummy! With a small sake, our meal totaled $40 and we brought enough food home for another meal.

  • Robert B.

What can I say about last night...the restaurant was hot and stuffy. They didn't put any spice on my food when I ordered medium; and brought the spice later on the side after I brought it up. My wife and I eat at Thai restaurants in Seattle area at least a couple dozen times a year and this is the first time we couldn't finish our meals. My wife even felt slightly ill later that evening. Not worth the money or your time.

Best Thai food I have come across here in Boise, Idaho! Always delicious, always right on in the spice category you select, as well as seasoned just right! Yum, yum and more yum. I'll certainly be back again and again.

My husband and I have gone in three times now for take-away and each time we've been treated with great customer service and served with excellent food. I've ordered their Yum Beef, which always tastes fresh and spicy; my husband likes the yellow chicken curry which was also cooked to perfection. One word of advice though, around dinner time they get really busy, so I'd call ahead for seating or pick up to make sure your wait time is minimal.

Traveling in the area and was looking for something on the spicy side with a relaxed atmosphere. Great service and very good food. I had the pork and shrimp fresh rolls with chicken Pad Thai at authentic heat level and loved it. Good flavor, fresh ingredients, and an enjoyable waiter.

Their name says it all. They spicy chicken pad thai is the best and there is lunch pricing which is the best time to go in. Warning: they normally have a packed house. Call ahead for to-go orders and expect reasonable wait times for a table.

Pad Thai was very bland. Ordered a 2 (medium) was not even a bit spicy. It was very dry. Won't be returning back to order pad Thai sadly.

Very bad service. I had to ask several times for a simple glass of water and again same thing for the straw.... We ordered veg rice noodles soup and they brought chicken rice noodles soup. Seriously , will not come here again

  • Kat S.

We ate here while passing through town. It was 2 miles off of the interstate but easy to get to and get rolling down the road again. Ordered the Pad Thai, Panang curry and the Thai egg rolls. The Pad Thai was ordered medium spicy and it was spicier than expected but really good. Very different than most pad thai that I have had but my husband and I both gobbled it up. The Panang we ordered without extra spice and it was delicious -very creamy and great flavor. The egg rolls were nothing special but good none the less.

  • Isabella A.

I have to rate them down for one reason. The to go orders have been going down hill. Yesterday out normally to go order was only half of what it usually is for dinner. Some price but hardly any food for the 30 dollars and tip we always leave.

Great food, big portions and awesome friendly service. Rivals other Thai that I have had.

  • Belinda S.

Everybody is raving about this restaurant. I guess I'll add to it. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. My go to's are the Pad Thai and green curry. So far these are my favorite 2 dishes here. On the weekends they serve a salad with your meal which is tastefully topped with a sesame-something dressing which is quite delicious. During the week you get sweet chips, which are nothing special but still good. And FYI, you can order boba tea here. They even have a taro-flavored smoothie, which is not on the menu, so feel free to order some and seem like an insider. You're welcome!

I've only eaten here for lunch, but what I've had has been very good. I usually order the pad kra pao -- chicken, pork, beef or tofu with stir-fried with thai basil, straw mushrooms, red and green bell peppers in a chile sauce. Ask for five-star heat if you like it spicy. The Thai spicy noodles are also very good. Same protein choices with pan-fried noodles, bell peppers, onions and Thai basil. Thai basil makes everything better. It has more of a minty flavor than regular basil and is addicting.

You can't beat this place. This place has blown me away time and time again. Pad Tahi house is on par with 5 star restaurants I visited in new york and philly. Obviously it is not as fancy as some of those big shot places in the city; you do not have the awkward towel servant in the bathroom which is a plus in my opinion. Their food is delicious, their staff is extremely friendly and you can't beat the price.

    (5)
  • Finley B.

Continuously craving their beef panang curry, they got that dish right! The duck was dry, and the pad Thai was so-so. Also a great dipping sauce comes with the summer rolls. It's not the traditional peanut sauce most Thai restaurants stick with, it's light and smooth.

  • Taylor W.

Awesome and delicious. I will totally be going back for their delicious curry and tantalising Thai iced tea. Boise Dorset really seem like the go-to place for good Thai food, but I'll be gosh darned this place is spectacular.

Pad Thai house have the best pad Thai in Boise. I have been going to a few different Thai restaurant in the area and I must say that this one is the best one. I normally ordered the lunch special pad Thai hot. Portion is just right and the spiciness hits the spot.

Living in the Houston Area I have tried many Thai places in our china town area. In Boise on vacation I tried this Thai place based on yelp reviews. I ordered the pad thai and was very delicious. be careful this place can be really spicy. I just got the spicy level 2 and it was more spicy than I expected, but still wonderful. Staff was very friendly as well.

Everyone has their ideal pad thai. I've been to several places around the Treasure Valley at the suggestion of various reviews and I've pretty much been disappointed everywhere I go. Pad Thai House is located in a strip mall off of Five Mile. It had great outdoor seating and more ambiance inside than what you'd expect from looking at the exterior. When I arrived I noticed immediately that the parking lot near the restaurant was full. Once inside the bustle of the place was apparent- waitresses were everywhere and most of the booths and tables were full. This is always a good sign, right? The prices were better than other Thai restaurants I've been to. I ordered the pad thai lunch special and the spring rolls to go. Both were 6.95. I wish I could say I loved the food but I can't. I didn't like the thin noodles (I prefer the thicker ones) and didn't think they had much of a taste. The spring rolls, although larger than typical and cooked perfectly, were okay- but again, didn't seem to be seasoned well enough. Maybe it was just an off day? I want to believe this place lives up to the hype, so I'll be back if I'm in the area to give it another try in the future. For now I'm sticking with Krung Thai on Garrity.

Lunch today was my first experience, and rocks! Arrived ahead of friends I was meeting and was seated promptly. Thai ice tea was good. Orderd the fried prawns with a nice sauce on the side and the portion was large, hot and fresh shrimp. Chicken larb salad was full of fresh ingredients. Pad Thai was a bit different but excellent. Servers were all friendly and prompt. Prices fair. This was the only that restaurant I hadn't eaten at but will be my go-to place from now on.

While traveling from out of town for business, it's always nice to eat at places you don't have at home. I decided to try Pad Thai House after seeing the good reviews. I was not disappointed. A small dinner salad was offered while waiting for your food to cook and had an amazing dressing on it. I ordered the Appetizer Plate along with the Kang Keow(Chicken in green curry sauce with coconut milk). While the appetizer plate maybe was lacking in quantity, the quality was good. Everything was cooked well, and had a great flavor. When the main course came, it made up for the portion of the appetizer. Plenty of Rice and lots of the main dish. I ordered it authentic style and the spice was definitely noticeable. If you're not a spicy food lover, definitely stay away from the higher end of the spice choice. The taste was delicious with a perfect balance of flavors. I highly recommend this one.

Omg so good! Authentic Thai in Boise?! The tom yum soup had huge chunks of everything, a couple different kinds of mushrooms and the perfect amount of kick. Absolutely everyone at our table raved about the food! So much better than Mai Thai or sawadee if you're looking for the real deal.

I have tried a lot of different things on the menu and Pad Thai House provide a wide range of delicacies throughout their menu. I always love Thai curries and they never disappoint. Pad thai has good texture and flavor. Many of their different rice dishes are also amazing. While most of their dishes are not overly spicy, they have a couple of hot sauces that are available upon request that are extremely spicy. Thai chiles in fish sauce and hot chili oil. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service make this one of my favorites.

This place offers some of the best Thai food in Boise. My wife an I agree that the Cha Gio is the best in Boise and we almost always get the Panang Curry. The Mandarin Spicy Chicken is a favorite as well. We have not tried as many items on the menu as we should have since we have to have our favorites. The sesame salad dressing that they serve on their salads is outstanding. The staff here is always courteous and helpful.

Ate there tonite with the family. The decor was typical, service was friendly and very fast; prices were reasonable, and the food was pretty good. I will be back. My wife had the green chicken curry; "#2" on spicy scale. It was not at all spicy; no noticeable heat. Next time she'll do #3. IT was good, not great, but good. Could've used more fresh basil. The kids split an order of sweet & sour chicken, which was done well, but nothing special. Worth ordering if you like s/s chicken. I had a bowl of the Tom Yum Koon (shrimp in chicken stock) which was excellent; about as good as I've had anywhere else. I ordered it spice level "3", and it had some kick. (But I ordered my meal level 4, "Thai Hot", so maybe they figured I knew what I was getting into, and amped everything up accordingly). For dinner I had the pork spicy noodles, as I mentioned, "Thai Hot". They were great; lots of flavor, and not just heat. All that, a Singha, tax and tip set me back maybe $45. Like I said, I'd go again...it's a winner.

This was out first time at Pad Thai House. What a great experience. The food was AMAZING and the staff was great. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made a recommendation for an appetizer that was great. Both my husband I had great meals. I would highly recommend Pad Thai House to anyone looking for great Thai food in Boise.

Hands down the best Thai in the Treasure Valley. Coconut milk in the curry is exquisite. Decent prices. You definitely get what you pay for. Pad Thai is delicious.

Tried to order takeout on Friday afternoon. When I was able to get someone on the phone, she was rude and impatient and basically said that they weren't interested in take-out orders. She said they were too busy. Pretty rotten.

The curry is the most amazing curry I've ever had. I've only ever ordered the red duck curry because I loved it so much. But the service has always been bad. After giving this place 3 tries I won't be going back. My wife and I were served by the same girl each time, which may be the problem. The first time her service left a lot to be desired, so I left her a pretty small tip. Which I think she remembered the second time, meaning she gave us even worse service, which resulted in her getting an even lower tip from me. The third time, was just bad, food was slow to arrive (even though it was perfectly prepared, although I suspect the curry sits in a pot all day), and we never got our drinks refilled. Last time, no tip. If you're a waitress and a customer leaves you a bad tip, the next time you see that customer, you should take that as initiative to be a better server, not a worse one.

THIS is the best Thai in Boise. Super friendly service, large portions of fresh, spicy food, and fried Ice cream for desert. Came here after Sa Wa Dee to compare and while Sa Wa Dee is good, Pad Thai House is better.

Always our go to for Pad Thai. Great food, varied menu, very nice ambiance and reasonable prices for portion sizes. The dining area could be a bit bigger (groups larger than 4, it's kind of a tight fit) and the serving staff can be hurried/abrupt on occasion. They are also very careful for those with peanut allergies, if advised in advance. That's a big plus for our family.

The Pad Thai House is a straight forward, great Thai restaurant. The decor is enjoyable, the servers are efficient and friendly, and the food is top notch. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, most of it in Seattle, and this restaurant is up there with the best of them. Some of our favorite dishes are the the Pad Thai (of course), red, green or really any of the curries, and the Tom Kar Gai soup. Give any of those a try and you'll be sure to walk away happy. With decent prices, GREAT food, and a friendly wait staff you can't go wrong with the Pad Thai House.

If you skip the pad thai at the Pad Thai House, you'll be pretty happy. With that out of the way, I'll say that I think it's the best Thai food in Boise, but let's be honest here, that's not saying a whole lot. The food is good, the service is excellent. Portions are good too. If you're there, don't miss the Cha Yor, I'm a total fan.

I love the Pad Prik Kao. Veggies are always fresh and the meat tender. Good Thai ice tea. Service has always been good.

This is our favorite Thai place so far in Boise. The first time wasn't great because the atmosphere was awful. It was really loud and and completely packed. There were children running everywhere and the opposite of the relaxing feeling we normally get when going for Thai. But... the food was so good, we didn't really care. The first time we got the dinner for two that is $30 and my favorite part about the food is the base of the sauce. They use a lot of coconut milk. Not great for the waist line, but excellent for the taste buds. I only eat curry at Thai places, so I had the red curry that was included in the meal and my husband ate all the other dishes and liked them. The red curry was good. So yesterday we went again, but this time we made sure to go on a week day and late. We figured there would be no children. Spot-on. Nice and quiet Thai place with excellent food. I had yellow curry this time. It had different ingredients than the yellow curries I have had before, but it was good. One aspect I like is that I can comfortably eat the whole curry plate and not feel like I am gorging myself- but there is no room for anything else.

Best Thai place in town. Read my other reviews we were Baan Thai fans. Food very good. Waitress was slow group four men came in after us and were leaving when we got our food.

I was first introduced to Pad Thai by a friend. The decor and atmosphere are very good, the service staff courteous and efficient. Overall the food is fantastic. I eat here quite a bit, having done both lunch and dinner, and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal yet. My personal favorites are the Beef Panang and Mongolian Beef, with a Golden Shrimp appetizer, and a Thai iced coffee or tea to drink. What is also very nice is the portions you get, as well as the price. You get a lot of high-quality food at a very economical price. For authentic and tasty Asian cuisine, I highly recommend Pad Thai.

Solid if mostly unspectacular Thai food for Boise. I haven't had any truly noteworthy dishes there apart from a couple of their duck dishes (especially the one in red curry). But I haven't had anything that has made me wretch either. The Cha Yor and Hot Wings (provided you don't mind your wings drenched in sauce) are tasty appetizers. I wish they would serve boba tea there though. The service has been quite good. Friendly and swift. Like other Thai restaurants in town, the heat scale on their menu is a joke. It varies from 1-4, with 4 being "authentic." Authentic my ass. Go to a Thai place in a Thai neighborhood in L.A. and ask for hot, and you'll be teared up and gasping and downing buckets of water before you've eaten a quarter of your meal. I didn't even break a sweat nor reach for my glass of water to cool off at a 4. Ask for "Thai hot" and not "white person in Boise hot" if you truly want your meal hot (for posterity I eat at a 9 or 10).

For being The Pad Thai House, you think there signature dish would be good..... We got the Chicken Pad Thai and it was off. I love pad thai and normally I am very easy on a review of it. It's kind of like pizza to me, even when it's bad, it's good. But not the case here. I would give the pad thai 1 star. The saving grace dish was the green curry. Surprisingly good after the terrible pad thai. I would venture to say, it's been the best I have had in Boise.

I got a chance to order take out from this place yesterday. I saw the reviews on yelp and I decided to give it a try. Order time was about 10 mins. I live around the area so it took me 10 mins to get there and my food was done. The waitress and waiters look very friendly, smiling at guest when once you walk in. All though I didn't get the chance to dine in that day, take out was still great. I had Pad Thai and wow large portion, in my opinion ! I could barely finish it myself. Yellow curry was spicy and very tasty! I would love to come back to this place for take out again or finally a chance to sit at the restaurant. YUM!

I've eaten at over a hundred thai restaurants. I had the pad see ew (I thin they call it spicy noodles). The veggies were very fresh and the sauce was excellent. This is way better than most thai restaurants... I left impressed.

This is one of my favorite Thai places in town. I like that they have lettuce wraps. Everything is very good. I like Chiang Mai a little bit better. There are a few wait staff that I dont like that could be friendlier but they should get the point when I dont give them a very good tip! overall one of the top Thai restaurants in town!
