One of the best businesses that I've ever run into!! And absolutely amazing pizza on top of it! My order was initially messed up and lost. While some businesses out there will just deliver it without saying much, these guys were completely different. Not only did the manager/owner call me to personally apologize, they stayed open after hours to correct it and delivered the order for free! I can tell you right now that hardly any business out there today will go through that much trouble to right a wrong...and these guys deserve all 5 stars because of it!! For the pizza, I got the tomato margarita with pepperoni and bell peppers added. It was absolutely amazing!! The crust was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were perfect!! Again, absolutely amazing service that I plan to share with everyone around! Great job on the manager/owner who personally delivered it to me too!!

very solid, very good pizza. bonus points for the ability to order online, though there seems to be bugs in the system, as they called me a couple days later mentioning receiving multiple orders from me again that day. crust was perfect, flavor was great. keeping this in my list for next time i'm in the area.

Their pizzas are really big and the delivery is super convenient. They taste deli and wish they had more flavors to pick from.

Easily the best pizza I've ever tasted. I'm 29 and have quite the unhealthy fetish for pizza. Do I know anything about what makes it so great? Only what I enjoy about it. This NY style pizza is exactly that. Large, thin and full of flavor. The garlic bread sticks things were the bees knees. (Idk how to spell it) Full of flavor, cheesy but not over doing it, crunchy but not dry, amazingly delicious. 5 stay worthy.

It just gets BETTER AND BETTER!! I love how this place is a few feet away from the Edwards theater it is the perfect location. I was in a movie munching on my stale nacho chips and lukewarm cheese, that costed over $5 THEN I realized I should have got pizza instead!! Hopefully you don't do what I did and spend your money on overpriced tasteless theater food. Now I make sure before or after a movie I am getting a slice of Giant pizza or garlic cheesebread or BOTH! It's super fast and cheap when you get it by the slice, it's $6 for TWO slices and a ice cold pepsi!!(Combo) I also like that I get an authentic taste of NYC right here in my own backyard but nothing is worse than spending $20 on popcorn, drinks, candy for 2 people at the theater then still going out to eat after lol.

I really wanted to love this place, but I just wasn't able to. The crust is pretty subpar in comparison to other NY style pizza in town. The guys working there were very friendly and I enjoyed being able to make my order online for carry-out, but I don't see myself grabbing another pie here anytime soon.

The pizza was good. I would eat it again. The customer service was fantastic. I called to see if they delivered to my location and the first person wasn't sure and ask someone else politely. When the delivery gentleman came he went to my hotel room and I happened to be away from the room and we shortly met up and he patiently waited for me. Friendly as well.

WOW! I just ordered one of their 28" pizzas online. Despite knowing how big 28" is I was not prepared for how large it actually was. The box barely fit through my front door. I enjoyed the taste of the pizza but my boyfriend disliked how the edges of his crust were hard (I didn't feel the same way, I like it crunchy like that). All in all, I am very satisfied. Gave 4 stars only because they didn't have Mt. Dew and had me subs. for Pepsi when they delivered my order.

I don't get the hype on this place. I haven't been to NY though so I don't have any comparison to draw from, but honestly if this is what world famous NY pizza tastes like then I will pass. I thought the pizza was just okay, actually pretty unremarkable. You better eat it while it is hot though or else you are going to end up with gluey gummy cheese. We got a cheese pizza and a sausage and mushroom. But I thought both were just meh. Maybe there margarita pizza is better? I don't know. I could see coming here for lunch if I just had a hankering for a slice and a soda, but with Costco right by you get better price and better pizza in my humble opinion.

Stopped in here for lunch between classes. The pizza was great and didn't take long at all to cook. The owner was very friendly and it made our experience that much better. See you again.

Review for Pizza Delivery Free delivery (min $11) but tip your delivery guy! NYGP Boise only has a Facebook page but Yelp doesn't allow that to be added. facebook.com/pages/NY-Gi… Hours are 11am-10pm, 7 days a week Menu: yelp.com/biz_photos/ny-g… Square is used for credit card transactions; receipt texted for delivery. I ordered a 14" Supreme ($12.99) - Pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and black olives, to be delivered across the complex at the Spectrum Hampton Inn. Delicious pizza with a thin crust with a good crunch. Toppings were evenly distributed and there is very little edge so if you're the type that throws away crust, there is little to waste! Also, slices were cut through nicely - it's annoying if it's cut halfway and you have to rip your slices and rip wrong into the neighboring slice. Expect around 40 mins+ for delivery even if you're nearby. It's an operational hurdle that very few small local pizza joints can work around, unless everything's pre-made or if they can afford many spare drivers. Boise was hit with some crazy freezing weather early this year (negative 9 degrees on Saturday?!) and I wasn't equipped to walk 0.4 miles, according to Google Maps, across the snow for food. Instead of national chains for pizza delivery, I opted for local joints and found that the new NY Giant Pizza has locations in San Diego and seemed to be well-liked. Called at 11am and the friendly guy repeated every number on my credit card aloud. He said it would be a "couple of minutes" which I knew was impossible, but whatever. At 11:12am, he called back to get my zipcode to complete the credit card transaction. At 11:40am, the delivery guy called to say that he's outside my door. He didn't know that payment had already been made and looked at the $3 tip money weird so I had to ask some awkward questions. Overall, I enjoyed the hot delicious pizza and will order again.

Pizza was delicious! You can order any pizza from their menu and it takes about five minutes to warm up the slice. I would suggest ordering take out, the place is small and the environment welcoming. This would be a great place to order for a super bowl party or having friends over! I thought the supreme was excellent and the Hawaiian looked really good too. Fresh ingredients and awesome flavor!!!

Just got out of the movies and wanted something lite.My wife and I each got a slice. I'm here to tell you one slice is a meal in it self. Great crust and you get what you pay for. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was this . Went back on a Monday nite about 8:15 and they where closed. They shouldn't just cater just to the movie crowd and times. We wanted to buy a large and take it home. Second the sausage was the precooked kind and they where lacking on some additional meat choices. But I will definitely be back.....just hope I don't have to make a dry run and find them closed.

I ordered a 20" cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and yes, GREEN olives. Unfortunately for me, within a couple minutes of placing my order online they called and said they (shockingly) ran out of green olives and would I sub black. I told them I was disappointed as I knew of only one other pizza place in town with green olives on the menu, but went ahead with the order anyway. I'm glad I did. a REAL NY style foldable pizza with a nice amount of toppings and just the right amount of cheese and sauce made for an enjoyable experience. The owner and his wife were apologetic when my wife went to pick it up and explained they had been extraordinarily busy the previous evening and just ran out of the green olives and encouraged her to come again. I will! Oh, and don't forget their free delivery service within 5 miles!

First of all... Very friendly! I mean very friendly!! These are the type of guys you want to succeed in a small business. They are proud of their product and it shows. This is a great place to stop before or after a movie and get a slice or a whole pizza. The restaurant is a little small but is great for take out or delivery. Now about the pizza. It's pretty darn good. And the guys will help do what ever you want not like a chain pizzeria. For example we got a giant 28 inch pizza quarter pepperoni quarter cheese and half supreme. And everyone loved it! And yes I know I'm known for typos but the 28 inch was not one of them. So I definitely will try them for delivery.

So big so good. I am staying at a hotel near by. I ate the 5 full service restaurants close and all failed next to the pizza. This was a great experience at a great price. I recommend it over a lot of the places around it.

I got the biggest cheese pizza for a group of gamers coming over to my house, its ususally hard to get enough food to feed them without the munchies knocking out my food stocks later. This was just the ticket! We fed a room full of people and even had one last slice we had to pawn off before we cleaned up for the night. IT WAS YUMMY! Very good, highly recommend getting some dipping sauces (not sure if they have any) but you can enjoy the pizza as it is too. The service was wonderful with the sweet youthful fellow offered to take the pizza to my car, which I had to put in the trunk to fit. A bit of a challange to navagate with it but otherwise totally worth it!

Great pizza. Friendly staff. Great prices. Will eat here again. I had the white pizza. These pizzas are huge so plan on eating a lot and taking the rest home. They are right next door to the movie theater. They also have NY cheesecake.

Delicious. Perfectly thin pizza, fresh ingredients and delivered quickly. (I got the BBQ chicken.)Plus the delivery driver was incredibly courteous. Kudos to those having to drive around in this sh*tty snow!

We tried it for the first time tonight. Overall I liked it a lot. The crust had a great taste and consistency that matched what I expect from good New York style thin crust. The cheese plentiful and flavorful without a lot of grease. We got the veggie with pepperoni and everything was great. All the veggies and ingredients seemed fresh and great. The only downside was the pizza was only slightly warm by the time we got it. We ordered take out on their easy to use website. I put in a time about an hour in advance. I think they made it a little early because by the time we picked it up and drove it 6 minutes home the temperature was borderline at best. I'm sure if the pizza was fresh it would have been even better! We will try it again next time. I was going to give it 4 stars because of the temperature of the pie. I ended up giving it a 5 though. Although it could have been a little fresher, it was takeout so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

It was some sub par pizza. It was a nice big slice but it wasn't very good. It was greasy and bland. It took so long for our service we only ordered some premade slices and it took 15 min.it was pretty cheap but not for the not so good pizza. I would NOT recommend going here....

Awesome pizza! The guys minding the store were very nice and polite. They opened to show me my orders before charging me. And it looked piping hot yummy. Crust is perfectly crunchy, the dough is cooked all the way through and best of all it wasn't greasy. Price not bad. The family enjoyed it very much. Oh we ordered supreme and BBQ chicken. We'll definitely come back.

For an Idaho-based NY pizza joint, this place can hang with the best of them. We ordered the Giant pizza (28') and it fed eight of us very well! The staff were very pleasant as well. We were a bit late to pick it up, so they offered to rebake it in the oven. The only problem we had was finding the location. It's righr next to the movie theater and kind of hidden away. However, the search yielded some tasty NY-style pizza!

I can't say enough about NY Giant Pizza! We ordered a 28 inch pizza last night. I thought there was no way a pizza that big could be done so well! The person who took my phone order last night was friendly and very helpful since it was my first time ordering. The pizza arrived in 25 min. And was absolutely delicious. I was impressed with the quality of ingredients, fast service, and the crust was to die for! If you are a pizza lover and enjoy a NY style thin crust then this is your place. Do your self a favor and order one size bigger than you think you need you won't be sorry.

The pizza is definitely worth a five star rating. My tastebuds are still overjoyed at the delight I just ate. The quality of the ingredients is very good. Every bite of this pizza is pure joy. The people there are super nice and the restaurant is clean. My husband is a stickler for cleanliness so he was quite pleased to see how often everyone there washed their hands. The only downside to this place is the restaurant is tiny. Not exactly someplace to take a date or a large group of friends for dine in. They do fresh bake pizza by the slice so it would be great to grab a few slices for take out. I can not wait to go there again. This is definitely going to be one of my new favorites!
