Never been here for dinner but have hit the lunch buffet all the time. In my opinion this is the best all you can eat pizza buffet out there. The pizza here is cracker crust thin which i love and they keep the pizzas coming out every 10 minutes or so. Their parm/garlic dressing is more addictive than crack. i could guzzle it down by the gallon. Bottomline, if you are looking for a mondo carb coma, come here because you will overeat, but you will be happy while you do it.

Great veggie pizza! We were skeptical because it's not a particularly inviting storefront, but the pizza covered a multitude of sins-- aka, it was DELICIOUS.

I've never been much of a thin crust pizza guy, but the Spicy Italian at Encore Pizza in Johnston is one of my favorites. The Spicy Italian is tops, but every item I've ever tried there hasn't let me down. Try their onion rings (thin hand cut). The food and service are consistently good. One of the few takeaways from my ex's family I continue to hold on to.

My family and I were traveling for vacation from Denver and had this restaurant for delivery at the suggestion of the hotel we are staying at. We were starving and had been driving for 13 hours with our two small kids and we just wanted some hot, delicious food. I ordered the chicken strips, fries and bbq sauce, my kids ordered mac n cheese & corn dogs, and my husband ordered a half alfredo, bacon pizza. I requested some plastic silverware since we were in a hotel room. So our food arrives, and I give a 4 dollar tip on a 23 dollar ticket and the place is around the corner. No silverware, no bbq sauce, and my fries were mush. My personal favorite was the hair on not one, but 2 slices of my husbands pizza. We are talking, straight baked in the cheese, hair that looked like pubes. So my starving husband packs up the food and drives it back to the restaurant ( my god, the irony). He asked for a refund and was told their computer can not do that. They offered a new pizza or a gift card. Yeah, Im just passing through; keep the gift card, keep the hair, feast on those mushy fries because Im so over this experience and Im hungry. Have a lovely day:) The 2 stars stems from the fact that my kids enjoyed their kraft macaroni n cheese and microwavable corn dogs.

Local pizza place in Johnston, Iowa. We go to Encore Pizza often and get the meat lovers pizza and onion rings with ranch dressing. Great tasting pizza with fresh ingredients for a great price. Friendly wait staff and great atmosphere.

Ate here last night. I liked how the crust is thin. It did seemed pretty pricey. We ordered two 1/2 not knowing you can order just 1/2. 1/2 would have been plenty for 2 people.

Dennis Gibson is responsible for the greatest sports memory in my life when he batted down the O'Donnell pass in the '94 AFC Championship game which sent the San Diego Chargers to their only Super Bowl berth in team history. We are regulars! Great local place full of flavor. Italian Chicken Strips with honey mustard dressing - GOTTA HAVE 'EM! Onion Rings -Solid. Pizza...it's all good. Love the perfect thin crust! Can't beat the price and selection on the lunch buffet!

I really like their pizza. The crust is thin and crispy and they use plenty of cheese. This is the first place I have ever seen half pizzas available. A half pizza is the perfect size for my wife and me to share. Oh yeah, they have Diet Mountain Dew fountain soda! Major bonus points.

This is a very good pizza place, I would almost have to say in the top 5 in the Des Moines area. The exterior will fool you as it is difficult to know the nice space that they have inside. The menu obviously revolves around pizza and the specialty pizza's are excellent. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. They serve craft beer on tap and the staff is very nice and helpful. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Their pizza is very good and service is excellent. However their chicken strips are the best we've had - anywhere. We used to go to BWW for chicken but now we go to Encore instead!

$8 here gets you the lunch buffet not including a drink. The buffet consists of four pizzas and a small salad bar. Service was good. They keep new pizzas available and kept our drinks filled.
