Stopped for lunch during the week. Place was pretty busy. The owner lady behind the counter was quite rude and impatient with the customer before me. Not welcoming at all. Ordered a meat jun and fried mandoo plate. The meat jun was ok. The fried mandoo had a instant/processed taste, didn't care for it at all. The four choice vegetables were not the freshest either. If you dine in, be prepared to sit next to hot air coming out from the freezers which are right there in the dining area lol.

Since In & Out changed it's name (it used to be Hello Sushi), management and menu, this place is THE place to get sushi. Whenever my boyfriend and I go there (which is usually 2 times a month), we order the Crazy Maki and Spicy Ahi Maki. We're pretty loyal to the Dragon Maki too. There aren't too many places that make a good spicy ahi for me, cause I like my stuff spicy! This sushi chef definitely makes my mouth happy! I like the fact they get creative with their creations (like Ninja Sushi and Genki Sushi) and aren't just a regular, boring sushi place that just serves handrolls.

Amazing sushi and Korean BBQ for an unbelievably good price. The BBQ' kalbi ribs and other meats melted in our mouths. Hidden in a small strip mall across from Goodyear and next to Longs Drug Store. A must stop if you're on this side of the island. They even sell marinated Korean meat in bulk, so you can BBQ them yourself.

I have been a customer here for almost 3 months since I moved here in Waianae. During the first couple times I went here I thought that this place was just okay..nothing spectacular and sometimes it can take a while for the food to come out. But then about 2 weeks ago or so, they redid the inside and so it looks much cleaner and presentable. Maybe it was coincidence but i felt like the food also has gotten better and tasted more fresh. I would recommend this to anyone nearby. I usually get the bbq combination plate and udon noodle soup ~ $6. sometimes i get the poke which is a bit pricey but very fresh

Finally a Korean BBQ in Waianae. Good portions, limited vegetable choices, clean but food has funny after taste like excess MSG and meat tenderizer. :(

Your typical "Yummy's"-style Korean BBQ with some sushi variety. Portion-wise, no where near the quantity that Yummy's gives, but price-wise it's just a tad cheaper. Service is quick, which is a plus. Variety for sides is very minimal but it suffices for me. I go because it's about the only decent place within the shopping center.

My review on their tuna cut roll and their soy wrapped rice. The soy wrap rice was okay, it is typical - I was hungry and I ordered these too since they were cheap and something that can't go wrong. The tuna roll was good; better than what I had expected from a place around here. The tuna cut roll is well below $3 for 6 pieces, can't beat that! It's light and edible. Definitely would wanna come back and try their fresh sashimi when I come back to this neighborhood :P

This is the best bbq shop along this section of Oahu coastline. They will make you any japanese food you ask for even if it is not on the menu. I asked for yakisoba and they make it. Delicious food for a beach lunch or to-go for dinner. I went here three times during the Thanksgiving week. I did try other places, but it was a mistake. There are a few small tables inside, so I prefer getting the food to-go. You won't be disappointed for cheap, quick and good japanese.

From the outside it looks like a typical hole in the wall Asian restaurant, but don't be fooled by it's appearance, the food here as anything but typical when compared to anything that I can get around where I live. I was lucky to find this place by a local that I had ran into while I was by my resort. He told me that if I wanted some good Poke, to come here. He was so right. The food was so good here, I had to come back the next day to try some more. The owner is a nice little Korean Woman. She must have known I was a visitor to Hawaii because she started to ask me where I was coming from, where I was staying. etc. Very nice lady. The Taro bubble teas was very good. Sweet and creamy and the the chewy bubbles really had nice texture. Great place for carry out and then to enjoy back at our hotel room.

I come here about once a month or maybe twice. Usually I have their cucumber maki and avocado roll which I love but tonight I ordered me a garlic chicken, meat jun combo. It's a huge plate for about $9! I don't like the garlic chicken or the spicy wings because the chicken doesn't taste like there's garlic in them and the wings aren't spicy at all. I would recommend getting the chicken Katsu if your craving chicken. The Katsu sauce they make is awesome as well. Their meat jun is my favorite, I would recommend trying it!

Eeew this place is disgusting! We found hair in our food once, okay it happens... but again? Nooo. You need to use a hair net. Thats nasty! Totally stingy on the amount of food in your plate. The bubble tea drink is good but she doesnt blend it enough, you sip ice cubes! That place is way to small. You walk in and people are eating, you hand to squeeze your way through them. The lady is rude and always trying to rush you, like chill lady in trynna look if theres anything else i might wanna try. Its one of the 2 sushi restaurants we have in waianae. So your limited if your craving.. but now i make the drive to Kapolei genki which is much better, much more sanitary and affordable.

Do NOT get the mandoo! Only place I've ever been to that put TUNA instead of meat in my mandoo! It was disgusting! What a waste of 10 bucks!!

The poke bowl is pretty good. I got the #43 bento sushi, fish didn't seen to fresh I think the poke bowl was better then the sushi bento. But over all the food her is ok. Better then some other places I've been to. Plus the Owner is nice.

Haven't been here for a while and was hungry for sushi. The order taker decided I didn't need all my change and opted to give me back two quarters instead of 58 cents. Not that big a deal but poor business. The sushi took a while to make considering I was the only customer. So disappointing, the fish looked bad, spit one out and didn't put the other in my mouth, California roll fell apart. Next time. I'm going back to Sun Sushi. Don't plan on ever eating at In and out again.

Awesome one-stop shop for sushi AND korean food! The korean food is great and their yummy sushi spread is quite large. The prices are a little higher than other places I've gone to around the Kapolei area and out, but it's just nice to have a good sushi/korean place here in Waianae. The owner is a jolly korean lady who calls everyone "Sistah" or "Braddah" and is always zipping back and forth between the front and back. Other than that, they also have desserts to choose from, bubble drinks, you can buy poke (seasoned raw fish) by the pound, and there is a hot table with small bentos that you can buy if you just need something quick to pick up and go. I must warn you though, the poke price is pretty high. The last time I went, I ordered 1 pound and my jaw almost hit the floor when she said my bill was $20.67. For 1 lb.?! Dang! All that aside, I'll still keep coming here because the food is good and it's conveniently close by. Now i've developed a craving for it.... I think I'll go for lunch today. :0)
