I was looking forward to trying a hamburger with some spam in it. Sadly, I didn't see it on the menu. Weird...

I had the teriyaki burger at the Maui McDonalds. It was the best burger I had on there island. :-)

Although the drive through was empty, it took a while to get our meals. I only ordered a large number 10 and a cheeseburger happy meal. The crewmembers at each window did not greet me or thank me. I don't mind so much that they didn't greet me. What really got me was that they put a half rotten cutie in my son's happy meal. I didn't think to check as I automatically assumed it would be fine. However when my son asked for his cutie I got it out the bag and immediately I felt how soft it was on one side. I would've said it was bruised if if was discolored and a little soft but it was deformed, discolored and very soft. I tried to see if I could salvage the other half so I gently peeled the skin away, but it had already began to rot on the inside of the other half. I don't want to put the entire blame on McDonald's, as I should've checked everything before driving away, but I've never had to before and this is a sad reality....moving forward, I need to make sure I check EVERYTHING..even the quality of the food.

This location sports the newer look of McD's inside and out. The interior design is very modern and inviting, and was clean and spacious. I like the hightop seating area. These guys must make a killing being that they're on bustling Dairy Road which leads straight to the airport. SERVICE: Fast and friendly, easy to communicate. TIP: Prices are a bit higher here than at the neighboring golden arches.

Stopped for lunch the service was quick and the food hit the spot. Waited about a total of 5 min in drive thru the employees were friendly and smiling

This was probably the best meal/s we had on the island. My husband loved the jalapeno double burger and I enjoyed a McDouble. Great prices, good location in the heart of Maui.

Not the last meal we wanted to have before leaving on the 'red eye' back home. But given the other restaurants we tried to go to were either not open on Sunday or were already closed, we thought we'd see if Micky D's had anything Hawaiian on their menu. We were in luck, they had Saimin noodles and a Teriyaki burger. Now we have had the Saimin in the past at Micky D's while in Honolulu that was actually pretty good. So thought we'd try it again. However, the recipe must have changed or they left something out because the Saimin was so tasteless that we asked for a refund! The Teriyaki burger was good, but could have done with a little less mayo which really did not help the taste of the burger because the Teriyaki sauce was so dominant.

OMG! They have spam and rice. Best MCDONALS EVER! Really close to the AIRPORT so it's convenient. I am a huge fan of their breakfast meal - the one with the spam and rice!

Wow I must have gone at a bad day and bad time. We flew in late at 11:30pm and were starving so just dropped in here for bite before heading on. Mistake. Went inside. Place was kinda nasty. Not really dirty but tables had not been cleaned, there were spills on floor with the "caution" sign by them. It was just messed up for McDonalds standards (yes they have standards). Seemed like 1 person was working as it took forever for food at counter. I should have done drive through. I would skip this one and just tough it out for something way way better elsewhere.

Conveniently located near the airport area. Staff was patient while we took forever to place the order. This 4 star is for the best strawberry shake ever from a drive- thru. We also had the quarter pounders- regular and deluxe. Not bad.

  • Harold J.

Staff is friendly and food is consistent with any typical McD's on a good day.

I really wanted to try the $1 haupia pie so we stopped by here on the way to the airport. Not bad. I guess it's seasonal pie cause I see the other yelps mentioning taro pie and banana pie. I also noticed they also offer spam + portuguese sausage + eggs + rice on the breakfast menu. So good... it's bad (cause the 910 kcal). Oh, and the free wifi from at&t applies here. Woot! :) P.S. I don't advocate fast food... You know, it's a love-hate relationship. But I really liked that Hawaii had their own special McDonald's menu so I'll have to put it on my Maui Mentionables list :)

  • Ali Z.

Located right outside Maui airport. No food on plane (no cheap food), so we waited to land in Maui and headed straight for McDonalds. Prices are higher than the mainland (as expected), but they did have one unique item....Taro Pies. I had previously tried this a few years ago in China and it was exactly as I remembered it. Yummy, purple gooey goodness. Looks weird, but taste waaay better than the Apple Pie. You have to try it!! Other than that, it is your standard McDonald's. The bathrooms were dirtier than normal, so beware of that.

  • Kerri M.

Whenever we are in Hawaii, we ALWAYS get th portuguese sausage breakfast. YUM! This McDonalds was clean and not too crowded. For my haole husband, we switched out the rice for hash browns which they forgot but was quick to provide.

  • Mikolo R.

Very clean. Very fast. Banana pie is delicious and deep-fried. You won't find this on mainland. Also for breakfast you can get spam.

  • Michael J.

Had to do it, JUST because I was in Hawaii. Actually, I was running late for my helicopter flight, there it appeared! Haven't had McD's in years, but it was a fun experience.
