The pizza is fine the cafeteria style line is slow but the staff are really very nice, I prefer location the over Costco which I do not find as a relaxing place to eat. Kmart which is Maui's first big box has a loyal following of customers you see enjoying the a light before the return to Hana of Lahaina with days shopping items.

Was so so disappointed with my order yesterday. I saw a commercial for the new "pretzel pizza" and wanted to try very badly. I ordered it with pretzel dippers for pickup with a few other items. First off the lady on the phone did not speak English very well so I had to repeat myself about 27 times for every item ordered (which is fine, but a little frustrating) I asked her to repeat my order to me and she seemed to have it all correct. Sent my boyfriend to pick it up (it was for several hungry guest waiting at our home). They left out the pretzel dippers (didn't forget to charge us though) and the pretzel pizza looked NOTHING Like the commercial. Was very flat and there was barely any cheese sauce. I don't normally allow my family to eat junk food so this was a big splurge for us... Wasn't worth it one bit. On the plus side the crust even though flat was actually pretty good, and they had given us cheese sauce for the pretzel dippers so we dipped the crust in it.

STUFFED CRAZY BREAD is where it's at! It's even better when combined with their meat sauce (additional $ .99 charge). It's basically just lots of cheese stuffed in a bread stick & best when it's fresh out of the oven. Just ask for a fresh batch if you see it coming out of the oven, they're usually great about it! I also enjoy their parmesan garlic wings, which are oven baked. Other flavors are available as well. Their pizzas are a good deal when in a pinch. They won't blow you away with complex flavors, but sometimes my husband & I just crave that "cheap pizza" taste. Haha. If you want a really good deal, go there at 7:45 pm, 15 minutes before closing & all the slices are a $1 :)

This Little Ceaser's is not bad at all. With very few takeout or delivery pizza on island, this spot is surprisingly good and fresh. The only qualm I have, is that it says that it says they close at 8pm, but they stop making pizzas at 7:30pm... Doesn't this mean they close at 7:30? Got there about 10 minutes till 8 and they denied making us pizza. So we grabbed whatever was already made and sitting there for who knows how long.

Prices here are very affordable, food is not bad, but the service...bad, bad! Located in K-mart. You can't go wrong with a $7 large pepperoni pizza, $5.99 chicken wings, $3.99 crazy bread combo or even a $2.99 chili cheese Nathan's hot dog. But getting your food is a task in itself! You may definitely develop an appetite as you wait, and wait, and wait...! The last couple of times we were there, I stood in line for no less than 5 minutes (with only one person in front of me each time) while my wife wiped our table herself, since they don't clean tables there. As I stood, waiting for assistance, another couple came up behind me. In less than a minute, the lady pops out from nowhere and acknowledges the other couple as I stood there dumbfounded! If I didn't speak up, I would have never gotten served. The other time, the lady in front of me seemed to be ordering one piece of everything that was just then coming out of the oven. Each time she ordered something, the local lady would turn around, grab a pizza pan from the oven, cut it and place it in the display case. She would then grab a piece and place it in the large pizza box for the lady. Each time, this took about 4 minutes since she moved like molasses! i kid you not, she did this at least 3 times, not to mention the breadsticks she took about 5 minutes cutting and counting! The lady asked for 8 pieces, and I watched the employee literally separate the pieces that were attached 4 pieces together and arrange, not just place them, one by one, into the box! Wouldn't it have been easier grabbing all 4 pieces and placing them in the box? You ended up placing them 4 pieces in a row in the box anyway!!! After nearly 10 minutes of watching this, another employee decided to finally come assist. Don't know why they don't have at least 2 employees there when there is a line waiting. I saw the cashier cleaning the counter area by the cashier while several of us waited for the lady to be served. Maybe they can't leave their station, I don't know, but when you're hungry, it may be faster to call Pizza Hut to deliver there! Too bad Pizza Hut doesn't have a price match for pizza! Once you get your food, though, it is pretty tasty, especially for the price.

Bought Italian cheese bread before heading to the airport so that I wouldn't have to buy overpriced airport food. Got to the airport, opened the box and found a fly in my food. Ended up throwing away the cheese bread and had no other choice but to buy food at the airport. Epic fail.

Flies on pizza. Long line and bad service. Asked for cheese sticks and they had none. Got charged for disgusting spaghetti meatballs that ruined my appetite and food. It was soft and soggy and tasted old. The pizza was good but they didn't accept any coupons at all.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
