I ordered meat jun. the picture you see as meatjun was exactly what I got.. Except that is not meat Jun, that's EGG Jun but in their menu a picture of meat jun was deep fried. So sad and bad. Stop tricking people. Refunded my money and ordered Lechon at country cafe.

Not sure why so many negative review, my food was great (too much food for sure, fed two people). It did take like ten minutes to get food, which isn't that bad. All pre-made items in casing was nice. Liked all veggie items.

The food was great, and the portions are HUGE; one plate can be shared amongst two people. The meat jhun was soft and not too over cooked, the chicken katsu was tasty and I loved the Bi Bim Bap. Majority of the veggie selection is good, but the kimchi I did not really care, not very tasty. It was more like cabbage with a spicy red pepper and vinegar. We'd definitely come back...

Thanks for being willing to accommodate our huge order, unlike other places who wasn't having it!! Food was good and service better

I am usually a huge fan of Yummy's korean bbq, but NOT THIS LOCATION! The first time I went here the food was just gross. I don't even know how to explain it. It just tastes old and gross. Like literally the best thing on my plate was the rice. The second time my mom wanted korean bbq so we went here since it's closest to our house. I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the first time I just came at the wrong time... but again the food was GROSS! Even my mom said her food tasted weird. I seriously wanted to ask them why their food tastes so different from other Yummy bbqs but I didn't want to be rude so we just left. But seriously can someone tell me WHY?! Do they keep the same food the whole week or something??! I vow to never ever ever return again to this specific location only. I would rather drive all the way to pearl ridge yummy's next time I'm craving korean bbq.

Just stopped at Yummys for some quick dinner. We come here a lot when we want to grab something quick. I always get the meat jun fish jun combo. One thing I like about here is they give plenty food and I can never finish my plate and I can put down some food. The wait is kinda long but it's worth it. It's not the best Korean food but it satisfies when you don't want to go to a restaurant.

I think the meaning of the word "yummy" got lost somewhere in translation. The BBQ beef and rice was pretty good but all the sides were just gross. I couldn't finish any of them. I got the macaroni salad, broccoli and corn and it all tasted like it came from the same dirty container. It's pretty hard to ruin corn but they somehow managed. My friend ordered three different sides and couldn't stomach his either. After I finished the BBQ beef and rice I took one last disappointed look at all the food I had left and threw it in the garbage. I wouldn't ever eat here again. I've had some great Korean BBQ in my day and this ranks at the very bottom. Save yourself some money and go dig for scraps in the McDonalds dumpster around the corner. Sure, you'll regret it. But not as much as you'll regret eating at the Yummy Korean BBQ.

Food isn't a problem here. It's definitely the service here that is a joke... Came in on a Wednesday night at 7:45. As I waited under the "order here" sign, two employees (who were not assisting other customers) proceeded to ignore me as one wiped down a seemingly clean counter top and the other rearranged empty stacks of white take-out containers. Made eye contact with the both of them, but proceeded to wait. Stood there for 4 minutes without any acknowledgement. And I wish I was exaggerating the time. After 4 minutes. One finally says "Hi did you want to order?" ... Are you kidding me? Do I want to order? No, I was standing here admiring your talent for stacking styrofoam. As I attempt to order, she cuts me off mid-sentence and tells me my total... How can you be telling me what money I owe you if I wasn't allowed time to complete my sentence? Which also was not what I was trying to order... Waited for my food. Then received a plate without any sauces. Walked back and asked for them. And simply got a "Oh. Forgot."

They don't put much effort into preparing the food, here.... and the customer service is lackluster, at best.

This place sucks. They short customers on their portion sizes and the management is whack. Their customer service sucks too.

SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE BAD REVIEWS for this Yummy's!!! Despite the less than happy reviews listed for this Yummy's, we thought we would give them a try, since the shopping center seems nice and clean and shopping center has good reviews. Called to place an order from work, and was put on hold by the cashier (order taking girl who answered phone). I know, it was just about lunch time, and they must have been busy, but if you're going to forget that you put someone on hold, perhaps you shouldn't put them on hold. I could hear her taking orders from walk in customers, and then make orders to kitchen. Then there must have been a lull, because it went quiet, and I thought, "great, it's my turn". BUT NO, she never came back to phone!!!! She had me on hold for over 20 minutes!!! Go to Pearlridge or another Yummy's. Most of the other Yummy's have better reviews for food anyway!

It's not fancy food, by any means, but when I have a craving for Korean, it's an easy choice. Plus the value is great - one meal ($12-14 for combo chicken/beef, rice, and four ban chan) will easily feed two people, or one person for dinner and lunch the next day. You can get a smaller combo with one scoop rice and two ban chan, but why? It's all about the sides! Shoyu potato, long rice, cucumbers, and seaweed are my favorites. I've only ever ordered the bbq chicken and beef combos, and of the two, I definitely prefer the bulgogi over the kalbi combo. Better and more beef with the bulgogi. I'm not sure why it takes so long to get an order (10 minutes). Service is flat - neither surly nor welcoming. There are booths to eat in, but most diners - myself included - tend to go with takeout.

Yummy's always at quality food in large quantities. I ate the yummy special and for $15 it was ono that lasted me for two meals! I don't know why the rating is so low here so I'm giving it five stars just to raise the overall score. It's way better than soon's nearby that is for sure

Eh...it's okay. They do give a lot of food for your money. I can never finish a meal in one sitting. The food itself is okay. It's a spot to get my Korean Fix when I don't have the time to cook my own. I do like their Yook Gae Jang and will probably only order that from now on. The one time (a long while ago) I ordered the BimBim Gooksu and they used spaghetti noodles...no, just no!!! The sides you pick aren't much to be desired. Their kimchi (if you can call it that) is just napa cabbage, korean red pepper and what tastes like vinegar (same with the cucumber)....again....no!! The staff has always been friendly at this location, but it is a long wait for what can likely be a disappointment. I haven't really tried any of the BBQ's so I cannot really vouch for that...it just always looks too greasy, but my kids love it.

Been here a few times. Good food customer service is okay...parking is normally hectic and some patience will be required. Okay experience here....

I had the spicy BBQ chicken and it was delicious. The veggies were okay. They didn't taste very fresh and that sucks when eating Korean. The portions were large so that's a good thing but the service was mediocre. Price was okay. Lots of good places nearby.

After trying a lot of the restaurants in the Moanalua Shopping Center and passing by this restaurant on a fairly regular basis, I decided to try this place for dinner last night. I had read some of the reviews for the NEX location and it seemed to be pretty solid as are the other locations so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the mini Spicy Chicken plate which came with two sides and I ordered the cucumbers and the omelette. The restaurant was pretty busy when I got there, but I received my food in a relatively fast amount of time. Despite the fact that they do seem to cook your food "to order," I did notice that my food was not very (temperature) hot when I received it. Additionally there was no spice content to my food either. I have spent the majority of last night and today disgustingly ill (I will spare you the details) from dinner last night (I can only blame dinner since the only other thing I ate yesterday would not cause this issue, and I cannot wonder if it is a food prep/storage issue. I would not hesitate to give another one of their franchises a try (on another day), but I will be sticking to another restaurant in the Moanalua Shopping Center from now on.

I don't know why people are giving bad reviews on this location. This has been my go to place for the past 5yrs I've lived here. My food is always on point and I always end up having too much that it's easy for me to share with my 2 kids. Their food is so YUMMY lol! When I can't figure out what to eat this, this was my go to place because I know I would never get disappointed. I love their Kalbi and bbq chicken. But as of right now I am addicted to their bbq beef! Highly recommend this place if you want your moneys worth.

I'm a big fan of Yummy's but this particular location, well let's just say they're slacking a little. My usual order at any Yummy's would be either the Garlic Chicken or the Meat Jun. A little while ago they didn't even offer the Garlic Chicken so that was a bummer. I think they don't give as much as other places though. Like usually if I ordered the regular plate it would be so full that I'd get 2 meals out of that one plate but it seems like their skimping a little here. Just recently I ordered a Chicken Katsu because I was craving it and I was a little disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and tough and it didn't taste all that great but it wasn't extremely horrible. I probably won't be ordering the chicken katsu from there any time soon. I think the best Yummy's is the one at the Pearlridge Food Court.

Went here yesterday hoping it would be good. My husband and I both got the BBQ chicken, corn, broccoli, and rice (naturally). Let me just say, I have never had such fake tasting chicken in my life. It was chewy and rubbery. It tasted like fat, rather than meat. Also, no sign of the "BBQ" as promised. The corn was from a can I assume, along with frozen broccoli that hasn't been cooked fully, and flavorless rice. Needless to say, we went to bed hungry. That was a complete waste of money. Appalling that they consider that crap food.

I'm not a big fan of Korean food, yummy as it may be. But I was in the mood for something different (and the line was out the door at Panda Express across the street) so I decided to give Yummy Korean BBQ a shot. I had the Spicy Chicken BBQ meal which came with rice and two sides. The chicken was flavorful, not too spicy, moist, and tender. The rice was sticky, but a small portion in my opinion. The sides tripped me out. The cabbage was cold and had a weird aftertaste. The long rice was sweet and slimy. I didn't care for either of them. The restaurant was not very clean, tables were not being wiped down as parties finished their meals. Overall, it wasn't a terrible meal but next time I'll suck it up and wait in line across the street at Panda Express.
