What a wonderful place offering affordable options. I got the spam, sausage, egg and rice for only $3.50. The food is very basic which is awesome, sometimes simple is the best. It's a little hole in the wall place near the moped rental in lemon st. It would be great if they have coffee too but their coffee maker is not working. They're closed on Wednesdays and there's only 1 person preparing and serving the food. Overall, if you want a simple and affordable breakfast then this is the place to go...

This is not fine dining. But it can still get 5 stars. The breakfast is good, fresh and fast. Perfect for those of us that don't want to spend half our morning waiting on food just to need a food coma nap after. Can't beat the price. I'd have spent twice the amount at Subway. Go for it!

It's a really solid and spacious place! My family got a room with a view of the mountain. The rooms were clean and the kitchen units came with it's own dish soap and sponge. The bathroom was very spacious and neat. The downside is that the main doors to the hall are loud. You can hear people if they're talking loudly or walking through. The elevators are pretty quick and we had to wait for a few lifts, but the wait isn't too long. It's not too far from the beach and it's location is awesome! Two blocks to the beach and you can find parking outside of the hotel's lot if yoy don't want to pay the $15/day fee. The cost for the amenities is a bit steep ($18/day) though.

Don't believe the hype! The food is something you could have fried up yourself. The cook, owner, tenant, etc..layed on his two chairs until his 8am on the dot opening time despite seeing us waiting outside (it was 7:57). Dude opened the door, no greeting. meh. The 4star ratings here must have come from all the customers staying at the hostel next door :D Buyer beware.

Handy little alleyway treasure! This place is a hole in the wall towards the Diamond Head side of Waikiki and offers great value casual food. It's literally just one guy cooking on a hot plate, but for a couple of dollars you'll get a very tasty breakfast - breakfast sandwiches, plates, bagels etc. They also do lunch and dinner that looked good, but make sure to check their opening/closing times because they do have a siesta break. This is also a super cheap place to buy soda and water. I wouldn't go hugely out of your way to visit, but if you're staying at this end of Waikiki and need a cheap snack you can't do much better.

Tiny spot right next to my hostel. I love little hole-in-the-walls. It was a total win-win... Super convenient, modest place to get delicious food at cheap prices. Food was ready quickly - got a rice plate with spam, sausage, and egg over easy for just a few bucks. It is basic but it is comforting food. Better to get takeout, not great for dining in. Located right by Waikiki Beach across from the zoo parking lot.

It's cheap, perhaps a dive, and unpretentious but the food is surprisingly good for the humble kitchen it came out from. Had the Kulua pork to go and honestly I wasn't expecting much when I first opened the box. It's a not a joyous looking box of food initially- a distinct lack of vibrancy. Then you start to take the bites of everything together and then you begin to understand the flavors of the island and how they work so well together. The moist, savory pork in tandem with the sweet corn, the acid from the salad, together with the rice... it just worked. For not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised by my order. Like the kitchen itself, looks can be deceiving and I'm glad I was proven wrong.

The Kalua pork plate was amazing and the Hawaiian burger with egg was a winner with my son. Food is inexpensive and cash only. Love the hole in the wall restaurants.

Not a cheap restaurant, but the taste is very good. Bento is delicious, and the rice is my favorite.

Local hole in the wall, ordered breakfast for 5 right wen they opened...same guy taking orders & cooking, so a bit slow...food is 3 stars...price is 5 stars...cheapest eats in Waikiki!!!

Good find ... One plate at hotel 20.00...this place fed four for 20.00.. Happy customer

    1. The prices are amazing. 2. The food is great. 3. I still have money in the bank. ($3.50 for spam eggs & rice) This place is a little hole in the wall and serves good food at cheap prices. It is nothing fancy but for the price/taste/convenience it is a nice place. If you're close by it would be worth checking out. There is not much room to dine in (4 seats) and is more of a take out place. Breakfast is a little cheaper than their lunch plates but either way this place is convenient . I'll be stopping by here a few more times before my trip is over.

Located just right next to the hostel this was a great find! As the hostel serves only toast in the morning this is the place to get some hot cooked breakfast. You really can't beat the prices anywhere else in Waikiki at around $3-5 for a decent breakfast. The food tastes great and is definitely cheap, highly recommended. The lunch options are also quite affordable as well. My favorite has to be the Teriyaki Chicken with my second choice being the Sloppy Rice. I still feel that the breakfast has better value but the lunch is good also.

  • Conor B.

This place is literally a hole in the wall. But that doesn't matter. The menu is very basic and nothing too fancy, but that's perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable as well so you can't complain there! The only problem is that there's only room for 1 employee so you might have to wait a bit just to put in your order. Also, there isn't much air circulation so it can be very very hot in there while you wait. But in the end, you really can't beat this place for a nice cheap and tasty breakfast. If you're looking for a no frills but delicious bite to eat, then this place is just right!

Excellent prices, simple menu and quick service. Great small spot to get a simple breakfast for just a couple bucks. Cash only

  • Gillian G.

Cheap and fast and hot and delicious! I got a breakfast sandwich with a perfectly cooked egg with american cheeze melty hot on top with avocado on a chewy english muffin. With fresh OJ. So satisfying! Get it to go but eat it fast before it cools off! Such good prices, but cash only! The owner was so nice and friendly! They also offer frozen pineapple on a stick, portuguese sausage, and cheap bottles of starbucks frap.

This place is a hidden gem in Waikiki! Thanks to Yelp, I think this guy will stay in business as long as he wants to keep up with demand for tasty affordable food in Waikiki. Had no idea this was going to be so small and for take away or to go orders. There's a small area to eat that seats 4 people. Food was good and price was right!

    (4)
  • Charlie H.

Not sure why, in an area surrounded by better options, this is rated at 4.5 stars. It is admittedly, very cheap and there is no wait (it's empty). But let's be honest about what you're getting: basic eggs, bacon and/or spam, with "toast," (read: a hamburger bun), on a plastic plate with plastic utensils. The place has no real tables, just a counter that seats 3, max. Also, it's cash only. I get that many people staying at the hostel are delighted to have such a convenient, cheap kitchen situated next door, but cheap and convenient do not 5 stars make. If you're pressed for time and your budget is $5, this is an amazing option. For anything more, do yourself a favor and walk up Kalakaua for 2 minutes.

So thankful to have found this hole-in-the-wall breakfast/Hawaiian spot! The hotel we were staying at was charging $25 a day for breakfast so we decided to pass and check yelp. Yelp to the rescue for budgeting travelers! Upon entering, you immediately notice there's nothing too special about the ambience of this place. It's basically a small kitchen with a tiny booth on the side that only seats 4. There's only 1 person working there who is the host, waiter and cook. The star of this place is how affordable everything is. You can get 2 eggs, bacon (or sausages and spam) and a bagel with cream cheese for only $4.25. They offer a variety of typical breakfast selections along with burgers, Kalua Pork, Loco Moco and Garlic Shrimp over rice. Menu items vary from $2.50 - $8 and is served on a plastic plate with plastic utensils. Just remember to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards. Since the kitchen is so small, the cook can only take 2 orders at a time so if there is a line when you walk in, be prepared to wait. My husband and I both had a filling brunch for under $10. The food is simple (nothing spectacular) but it doesn't get any cheaper than that in such a highly dense tourist area!

This is located between Waikiki Hostel and the bike shop. I was staying at Waikiki Hostel on my first day here in O'ahu, I immediately saw this when I passed by but it was closed. The next morning I woke up for free breakfast provided by the hostel I was staying at, but it was only a slice of bread with strawberry jam.. I was still hungry and disappointed. So I wanted to eat somewhere to fill my empty stomach with some good Hawaiian food. Lastly, I finally got to try out this place! 1 person, a kitchen, and awesome cooking are all this place needs. I bet you that you can't beat a meal consist of rice, spam and eggs for $3 bucks! Great value and great portions. It tastes like my mom's Filipino cooking... I felt like right at home. I couldn't believe how cheap their prices are. Everyone, please tip to keep this business afloat!

  • Angela Z.

Good comfort food prices cheap! With all the expense of vacationing in Honolulu, this place was a gem of a find. It is take out only (aside from a nasty looking counter in one wall) and seems like a hole in the wall, but don't let that deter you! The prices are reasonable - about $4.50 for a cheeseburger with bacon and egg and they throw in tortilla chips which actually help to complete the meal.

    (4)
  • Lisette S.

Awesome little in and out restaurant although there are 4 stools to eat in. The owner is the cook and makes your meal right as you wait. The drinks are $1! Bottled water, sodas etc. I can see why the local surfers come in and out all day. The prices are really reasonable and for freshly made food this is a great find. One tip- located right next to the hostel on Lemon.

    (5)
  • Llima B.

It's supposed to be open from 8-2 but it's 10 am and it's closed. People waiting outside. Guess they don't care much about their customers. Walked 20 minutes for nothing.

Favorite local spot to eat breakfast during our vacation. They have great food at a cheap price!! We had the bagel sandwiches and bacon egg burgers - absolutely delicious!

For a $3-$4 breakfast of rice, 2 eggs and either spam with sausage or bacon, this place is the best. Especially because it's located in waikiki, where breakfast like this can cost you up to $10 at any other place. They are located on lemon street, pretty easy to find and literally epitomize the term "hole in the wall". Don't expect tables, chairs and waiter service; this is a one man show. Because of this, the line can get very long and it may take more than a few minutes for your order to be made. It is literally a one man show. This small Japanese guy with bleached hair takes your order, takes your money and makes your food. You have to keep an eye out if it's busy. He won't call out already made orders, so my breakfast was sitting on the counter for a little while before I realized it was mine. He's not so friendly. It might be because he's working his butt off trying to keep orders in line and keep the line down at the same time. Whatevs, I got my cheep cheep, deliciously simple breakfast, observed some asian american tourists getting hit on by mainland/international transplants now doing "surf lesson" business in waikiki. Kinda made me wanna throw up a little. I also highly recommend the frozen pineapple. Who knew something so simple as sectioned pineapple, skewered and wrapped in saran wrap could be so delish? I don't even like pinapple all that much, but it was only a dollar. I will be back, and I'll try not to go when many people are there, especially the creepy waikiki workers. When I was there, about 10 people were waiting to order or waiting for food. Only my boyfriend and I were local. I'm surprised people seek this place out on vaca. I guess tourists are getting cheap. They should save on hotel rooms by "couch surfing" hardy har har.

Breakfast time prices are unreal. For 4$ or less you can grab a great sized breakfast plate. Locating the place is slightly tough at first but once you manage to find it the rest is history. The name really ideally fits the place because the shack is a home kitchen ready to serve.

    (5)
  • George D.

Holy cow this place is good! You're staying on Waikiki and you've been eating cold cereal and granola bars for breakfast for a few days and you have a craving for a hot breakfast... Well this is the place! Look, this place isn't going to win awards for service or decor, but the chow is good and CHEAP! Where else are you going to get a GOOD breakfast sandwich for $3? Nowhere man! Hawaii or mainland that's a good deal! HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - Closed on Wednesdays and cash only!

    (5)
  • Claudia S.

Food was authentic and cheap. But us ordered burger and they didn't have it then I ordered macaroni salad and they didn't have that either. Guacamole is gross.

    (3)
  • KJ P.

First things first: If there' a line, you might want to come back later. It's just one person cooking each complete order on a couple of hot plates. That being said, if there's no line (or you've got time to kill), enjoy! I loved the breakfast options. Simple and good. Great Waikiki prices too. Just north of the the Queen Kapiolani hotel and the hostel in the alley that is Lemon St. I must say, I didn't enjoy the Sloppy Joe that I got for lunch on my second trip back, though. Way too sweet.

  • Ryan H.

This is so close to my hotel room. It is really cheap and tasty. I would get the english muffin sandwich with eggs cheese and spam. You get to choose spam, sausage, bacon or guacamole. If there are a couple of people you might have to wait a little because ther is only one employee but it is worth the wait. I would definitely come here again.

  • Christiane D.

This is a great little hole in the wall that pumps out a quick breakfast for basically nothing. And by nothing, I literally mean nothing. It's located by a nearby hostel and I feel that's the reasoning behind it primarily, but at the end of the day, a simple breakfast is a simple breakfast and shouldn't cost too much. I got the breakfast sandwich with spam & not only was it filling, but it was quite tasty. It was on an english muffin, little bit of cheese, egg, spam and I added on my own hot sauce (because I love hot sauce). What more can you want for almost nothing? Both myself and my boyfriend has breakfast for $5 - amazing. Their location is down the street from the Zoo and literally a few blocks back from the main drag along the water. It's a REALLY small spot, warm if it's humid out, but fortunately, you aren't in there very long because they crank out anything you want. I would 100% return here and recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice, affordable, enjoyable breakfast away from home. CASH ONLY - Just a friendly reminder :)

I found this hole in the wall food place through Yelp and decided to eat here for breakfast because it was nearby. It's small and easy to miss though. It's on Lemon Rd across the street from Honolulu Zoo (at the time I went, there was road construction so either walk or park away from here and walk there) and it's right next to the moped shop. Just as I entered the shop, the man behind the counter greeted me. When I say this place is a hole in the wall, it definitely feels like it. Which isn't bad! It's very quaint, peaceful, and I loved how homey it looks. I ordered a bagel sandwich with spam and sat at the counter while the man made my food. He was quick and handed me my sandwich. It was good and I loved how the egg yolk ran down my sandwich so I had to eat it before it escaped. The next time I return this way, I'm definitely coming back and trying the kalua pork sandwich. It sounds delicious.

This place is awesome. One guy, one stove, great prices. Breakfast for $3 and dinner for $7. You will be satisfied and full. I've eaten here three times today for less than $20.

  • Penelope M.

This place is great for breakfast. Quick not greasy. It's just a one person kitchen, she is s really nice and prepares each person's breakfast before taking the next order. Food is great, eggs done prefect, spam perfectly crisp. The only downside is there is not much seating which we were not prepared for. So make sure it's to go or eat standing. There is just 1 side bar table that fits 4 but the place gets pretty crowded and everyone is waiting to seat down lol only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the seating, just was not prepared for that. Otherwise this is a great inexpensive breakfast spot! Meals are no more that $5.

  • Rocky M.

Found this place on Yelp and it had great reviews, so we thought we would check it out. It sits next door to a hostel and caters to quick in-and-out, short order diners. It was not AT ALL what we were expecting when we walked in...there is barely room for 3 people to sit at the only bar in this little dive. However, we decided to stick with our plan and try it out. Between the 2 of us, we spent $8 and were completely satisfied! Tip: if you order anything with bacon on it, request crispy if you don't like fatty!

    (4)
  • Publius J.

Definitely a hole in the wall, but if you're looking for quick, cheap, and tasty, this place is tough to beat. During our stay, I had the sloppy rice, the loco moco, and a breakfast sandwich - all good.

    (4)
  • Rachell N.

My hubby and I have gone here at least once a day while staying at Honolulu. Yummy and sooooo cheap! FYI, cash only.

    (5)
  • Elizabeth A.

Garlic shrimp was pretty tasty. Lots of garlic. Teriyaki burger was also very good but small. I would recommend it.

    (4)
  • Mick V.

Very simple menu options, but they do try to accommodate veggie-only customers. This place is CASH ONLY! We had to order less than we initially planned because we were strapped for dollar bills. Friendly woman behind the counter. This place got busier as we were leaving.

    (4)
  • Kate B.

Without question the cheapest place to eat breakfast on Waikiki and DELISH.

    (5)
  • Maria M.

Can't beat a $3 breakfast, but I kinda wish they cut the slices if Spam a little thicker. It will also take a while since it's a one person show so make sure you have some time. A couple outdoor chairs would be a nice thing to add too. Their address is on Lemon, but there is absolute no parking in that street, so just head straight to Paoakalani to park and walk over.

    (4)
  • Nick B.

It's literally a counter with a side table with bar stools. The guy who owns it is chill. We ordered then watched him turn around and cook it. Great food. Even better price. Had the spam rice eggs and sausage breakfast plate and the teriyaki chicken plate. Both were awesome. Truly that hole in the wall feel because well, it's a hole in the wall.

    (4)
  • Jelly B.

The food is fresh prepared and inexpensive. The cook is friendly and does a good job.

  • Joel A.

Excellent food. This place is actually a joint. Best to eat at the sitting area inside the hostel. Its really good food at super affordable prices. Highly recommend. The chef is super friendly & kind.

    (4)
  • David F.

If you are looking for cheap food (and not much of it) this might be for you. This place is a hole in the wall, the OJ is store brand concentrate. The guy didn't listen to my order so we had to order ala carte. There are 4 chairs in the store and they share their portion of the alley with a scooter rental business. Go to Jack-in-the-Box, you will be happier.

    (1)
  • Charisma Z.

Right near our hotel. Small super casual place with barely any seating. There were 5 stools along a counter. We managed to get the counter space. Food is so good and the price can't be beat. We ordered the breakfast specials tanging from $3-$4.75 per plate. For a family of 4 with the $1 miso soup and one orange juice, total came to a $17. We were full and the owner seemed very nice. There is only one cook behind the counter but he made everything made to order so you know it's freshly made. Cash only.

  • Michelle J.

This place is ridiculously cheap (breakfast prices) and the food is amazing! It's so fresh and convenient if you are on the go. Also, the food is made right in front of you and was cooked very quick. The bagel, English muffin, and sloppy rice are delicious! My boyfriend and I will be coming everyday for the remainder of our trip. Come here if you are close by and want to save a lot of money! FYI, CASH ONLY!!

    (5)
  • robert h.

Where can you feed a young family of 4 breakfast for under $15? Beachside kitchen! The food is simple and fresh. As a small business it is hard to make a buck. Cash only may hurt business but is needed when every penny counts. Good spot for food any time of day

    (4)
  • Xochil V.

Came here for dinner by our hotel. It's a very quaint store that you can easily miss if you don't pay attention. We ordered the regular moco loco and the kaulua pork sandwich. The loco moco was delicious but the pork sandwich was chewy but hey it was a cheap meal.

    (4)
  • Steve C.

The 1 star is for the low price. Other than that, this place was a bust! This is a tiny room with 3 stools and a guy cooking on a portable skillet. If ur looking for a cheap breakfast...this is ur place. If you want something good that's not in an alley, go somewhere else!

    (1)
  • J W.

A small, hole-in-the-wall, very easy to miss, breakfast place. I loved their english muffin sandwich with spam/sausage, eggs, and cheese. Their rice plates with spam/sausage/bacon and eggs was also very simple, but yummy. Everything is made right in front of you in what looks exactly like a kitchen you'd find in a small humble home. Everything is also priced very low. We got 5 items for a total of $18. Come here if you can! Worth trying!

Great Breakfast, with awesome prices! not too good burgers, frozen type and just heated up.

  • II I.

A hole in a wall, not visible unless you look for it, no proper coffee, not family friendly, very small, bar style sitting for 5 people, mostly regular breakfast and burgers but not bad quality. Very cheap, designed for hostel crowd next door.

    (3)
  • Mike M.

Super cheap food, but tasty! It's attached to the Waikiki Beachside Hostel and the Hawaiian Style scooter rental place. A super nice couple runs it, and it's probably the cheapest breakfast in the area. It's worth a trip down the alley, and there's never a line (unlike Egg 'n Things). I guess they have food at night too, but I only ate breakfast. I super dig tiny places like this.

    (5)
  • Gloria I.

Little hole in the wall in between Waikiki Hostel and the Bike Rental. Really small with 3 stools. Great service, really tasty food we had Sloppy Rice and Bacon cheese bagel prices are really affordable. Way cheaper then McDonalds if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

    (5)
  • Amanda B.

This restaurant is easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. The food is tasty and affordable. Very little seating inside, but it is packed "to go" with utensils and there are condiments available to put on your meal.

    (4)
  • Faith C.

Great breakfast that won't break the bank. Good loco moco too! So far, I've eaten here twice. If you like small hole in the walls who do simple tasty food, this is for you.

  • Jen C.

So glad we found this place with help from yelp! It was right around the corner from us on Lemon Road. Great place for a quick, yummy and reasonable breakfast. I got the egg and cheese on an English muffin with guac for only $2.75. Beats an egg mcmuffin any day! Totally hit the spot. Go elsewhere for coffee though since they only have nondairy powder creamer. Service was really nice and friendly. Cash only and limited seating in the tiny place, but you can eat at the beach! :)

Yes yes yes! Best cheap breakfast in town. Small intimate. One meal at time made with care. Yummy!!! Go there!

  • Bryan B.

YIKES!!!! This place broke da mouth, but no break the wallet!!! Awesome fast and friendly service. Tiny place with three stools for dining in, but listen now...this is an awesome breakfast for as little as $3. In Waikiki?? C'mon man...run don't walk!! They also do lunch...which I'll be coming back to try!!!!

    (5)
  • Matt M.

Good cheap burgers and affordable plate specials. Fast, friendly service. Breakfast and lunch specials every day.

    (5)
  • Aaron W.

This place is great! The Kalua pork sandwich is a must and at only 4 bucks nothing better than that!

    (5)
  • Peter W.

it's just okay for me. Cheap it was, indeed, but not very fast since there was just one lady cooking and taking orders. also you can't really dine in there.

  • Gabe G.

We stayed at the Park Shore at Waikiki Beach and this was just right around the corner to us. It's a quaint little place with just one girl manning the kitchen, but she worked quickly and had our bagel sandwiches ready in a jiffy! Plus, you can't get a homemade 4 dollar sandwich around here. So skip mcdonalds and come here!

    (5)
  • Elizabeth C.

No fuss, quick and cheap breakfast. This morning I paid $3.50 for two eggs, sausages, spam, and rice and $1 for coffee. Ordered my breakfast to-go as the place is tiny plus I wanted to enjoy my breakfast on my ocean view balcony. I was in and out of there in five minutes. I'll definitely be back during this trip to try their lunch items. Oh and the young lady at the counter was very pleasant and friendly. :)

  • David G.

This is what I'm talking about. You're on vacation, living it up in Hawaii, but that doesn't mean you want to drop a hundred dollars on every meal. This is a small little room with a nice girl running a couple skillets with super cheap eggs, sausage and toast. Perfect to get something quick and cheap before starting your day!

Travelling on a budget with my 19 year old son so dining out was a concern. Saw this place on Yelp and it happened to be right behind our hotel so we gave it a try. Wow! We BOTH ate for $7.75 including drinks! Nothing fancy but just like something we'd whip up at home. My son ordered the #1 breakfast (spam, rice and eggs), and I had breakfast sandwich with sausage. Both were very satisfied. Unbelievable for Waikiki! Only reason it's not 5 stars is limited seating but still worth it and keeps it manageable for the one employee. She takes orders at counter and then cooks it up lickity split!

  • Mary D.

What an awesome little hidden gem. Thank you Yelpers for pointing my way to this place. It was just down the street from our hotel and offered simple made to order breakfasts for more than cheap prices. I loved it. And it was kinda fun watching the owner cook behind the counter. His little kitchen is space maximization at its finest.

  • Donovan B.

This place has excellent value for your money. Come here, pay 3 dollars and you'll be full. They make your food fresh and fast. Love my hole in the wall beachside kitchen.

  • Melissa L.

At first sight, i thought my husband was pissed at me. Why would he drag me to alitttle hole in the wall to eat on our vacation? :( but little did i know i was about to choke on my words. We are most certainly fans. Super cheap breakfast for both of us it came out to a $10 breakfast. I had the sausage, spam, eggs & bagel, he had the bacon, eggs, & bagel we both had a drink canned juice. Everything was amazing. im not sure if they were the owners but the blonde lady and Japanese cook were very nice to us. Even chit chatted a bit. Im so happy we came here instead of going to a chain restaurant. They are a small eatery connected to a moped rental and surrounded by hostels.

  • Caroline S.

Don't be scared of this hole in the wall place on a street that looks like an alley way! This place is just a simple, cheap breakfast place made to order. One block from beach and located near hostel and in front if the scooter rental place. Super cheap like McDonalds but better food. Great place!

Can't beat the price! Food comes out quick and exactly as ordered. I had breakfast but would definitely go back to try his lunch and dinner fare.

Tired of spending $30 + on breakfast each morning we decided to try this place based on its yelp reviews and the proximity from our hotel- we were not disappointed. Yes the place itself is not much and it was hot inside while we waited but the food was delicious and cheap! 3 of us ate a full meal including coffee for only $11. Too bad we waited until our last day in town to try it- it would have definitely saved us a lot of money.

Sorry to break the five star streak but personally I five star only places that are so gopd I would travel long miles tp eat there agaon. Apart from that the place is excellent for what it is- honest, tasty food at reasonable-especially for waikiki beach-prices.

Crazy what one will rate five stars.......we are a family staying at the marriott waikiki and love this place. It's real food like you would cook in your own kitchen. The man that cooks it is very nice. We enjoyed their pineapple pops. It's a real piece of fruit frozen for $1. I love finding real food and not processed for our family. Best part is the friendly people and the price! It's a small place connected to a hostel so more geared towards young travelers with little money but suits us as well :)

This place is amazing! Super cheap and quick. It's no frills dining but with prices in Waikiki and Honolulu as high as they are, this place is a welcome relief!! Go here if you are interested in a good deal and tasty food. And make sure to tip well!!

Very meh. Went here after reading the reviews. It seems they were talking about a different place. We would have gone to Mc Donald's had we known what we know now. Kaula pork was out of a plastic bag of some kind and the tortilla chips were stale.

Well, yes, it's A-OK. Grabbed some breakfast from here this morning. Yes, it's cheap. Would I go back? Nah, probably not. $3 isn't much, but neither is a teeny-tiny sliver of Spam with a side of hamburger bun.

Came here for quick and local cuisine. It was a bit unfortunate that the place is only run by one guy ask by himself so he couldn't really handle the small lunch crowd that had gathered at the place for lunch. I got a moco loco and it was filling and yummie.

Best $3 bucks I spent is Hawaii! Eggs were perfectly cooked and delicious with the toast, spam and sausage links.

Not the greatest food, but for what it is, and at that price...very, very good. Went back a couple times after the initial visit. The lady handling the orders was supremely cordial and friendly. Their food was simple and came out to be what it was supposed to be- sometimes that's all you need. Had the sloppy joe burger which was nice, and also other breakfast items. Really not a eat-in place, and more of a carry out place, so be warned. Nice change of pace from the options very close by. I'd go back if I go back to Waikiki Beach!

Let's keep the 5 star review streak going! My girlfriend and I ate here for breakfast this morning on our Hawaiian vacation. What attracted me here was the low price and other 5 star reviews! Place is small, only room for about three people to sit. While we ate about 6 customers came and took food to go. Excellent cheerful service. Great local flavor for such a touristy area. Breakfast was ready in 5 minutes. Great bacon. Simple cheap and quick.

Well we were NOT gonna do breakfast at $35 per person. I consulted Yelp with search set at $ and, this place popped up. One block from our hotel. All I can say is WOW! Two eggs, spam, sausage, toast for $3. Daughters and I were ecstatic about this great " hole in the wall". A Chinese vibe, mom and pop place...gotta love it! I liked it so much I went back for lunch. Be sure and tip to help these folks stay in business.

How can this hole in a wall place get five stars? I got curious so I checked it out, first for lunch and the second day for dinner. This is no five-star dining experience, but when it comes to "cost performance," you cannot beat it. Come on, right in Waikiki, just few blocks from beach? For lunch, just grab the food (good choices for less than $5) and walk to the beach, and enjoy the food on the beach while you check out the view and the breeze. That's as good as beach-front restaurants that costs you at least $20 per person. For dinner, I took their BBQ Pig plate back to the condo. Wash it down with cold beer, and I was in heaven for less than $10. On our future trips, this place will be on our list of must-visit places like ABC and Kuhio Beach Grill (Prime Rib Buffet). The couple that runs the place are super nice. While waiting for the dinner, the wife (I assume) kept me company by chatting while the husband prepared the food. Very interesting life they've had.
