I loved their Thai iced tea! The staff are super friendly! I accidentally made a hole in my cup because I stabbed my straw really hard which caused my tea to leak :/ But they were nice enough to give me a new drink with no charge! I'm definitely coming back here to try more drinks!

This is a tip -- not a full review. [The option section to posts tips seem to be missing on website.] Svc is quick. Good selection of refreshing drinks and some tasty desserts. Fave is Vader 50/50.

This place is a new clean and cute hipster tea bar conveniently located next to Long's drugs at Fort street mall in downtown Honolulu. They have a ton of choices to choose from. You can customize your drink or choose from the menu. What I like about this place is those flavored jelly boba that pops in your mouth. The staff is nice and they also offer stamp cards. My favorite drink so far is a simple iced green tea with soy milk and vanilla. This place is worth checking out!

Walked by the store on Friday when two young girls politely asked me if I wanted to try some Teapresso samples! They were very professional and knowledgeable about what was in the tea and how it was made. After trying the samples, I walked into the store and was blown away by the extensive choices on their menu. It was my first time; however, the workers were very kind in helping me decide what was best. I got an Iced Black Peach Tea with Lychee, DELICIOUS. Definitely would recommend to everyone!

The staff is friendly and there are so many choices to choose from. My first time with the Vietnamese coffee and it was great. It's a thirty minute slow drip so stop in and try it. But I am loyal to my hibiscus tea on ice with boba. It's just so fresh and up lifting, defiantly a way to help the day go by, with a nice un-alcoholic drink. Also they play good music and it's a nice way to start my day!

This place is cute lil spot right across Bishop Square on Bishop St in Downtown. They have a variety of teas to choose from and flavors along with toppings. I ordered the Lychee Green tea with chia seeds. It was so refreshing! They also have a stamp card program too! Friendly staff here as well! Great place to come for refreshing drink!

Create your own tea combo is perfect! I got the coffee tea with large boba, which they recommended. Light with a hint of coffee and tea. Friends I was with got oolong tea with lychee bursting boba, which was very refreshing!

I skipped my usual Starbucks to check out this place while walking down Bishop and I'm so glad I did! Super cute place with lots of drink options. The inside decor is darling and the service from the ladies are on point!

I came here with a bunch of my cousins back in May, and we enjoyed our first experience here. We were helped by a lady who seems like she runs the shop. Today we didn't see her but I assume the guy who helped me and my cousin out also co-owned the shop. He was feeling really nice today and offered to let me try one of the top flavors for FREE because I didn't know what to get. I was kind of skeptical about trying the Sea foam green tea. But after that first sip, I ended up loving it! The staff here are so friendly, helpful and patient and I enjoy the freshness and variety of drinks they offer.

This is the start of the love affair I have with this place. It all started couple months after it opened. Hearing this place, I was lukewarm to it honestly. The staff there had made it such a great experience that I kept coming often (from one to two to maybe three to four times per week) I have personally seen the menu evolve from when they first started and I've felt welcomed by everybody First drink here was the Vader 50/50 and I loved it since then. There is also the one in Ala Moana which I did the first in reviews of this place (Pretty much the same in experience but bigger and convenient for me) Will always have this place and hopefully the craziness of this affair will never die down XD

Came today at around 7:05am and found that the store was opened and has been for a bit. 3 individuals greeted me and took care of my order, which allowed me to get out in a timely manner and catch my connecting bus. Ordered a Vietnamese Coffee, with condensed milk, regular sweet and with light ice and a Hong Kong Milk Tea lite sweet with light ice. Vietnamese coffee fit perfectly in my mug with the light ice option when I transfered it. The taste was on point and the condensed milk perfectly rounds off the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee, next time I might order it extra sweet as I like to taste the bitterness of the coffee as well as the sweetness of the condensed milk. The Hong Kong Milk Tea however still boasts a light tea taste even with the modified ice and sweetness level. Not sure what this recipe is, since Hong Kong Milk Tea is supposed to be a combination of black tea and condensed milk. Which is how the Milk Teas that I've had in Hong Kong and Macau with my breakfasts were made, but this is slowly getting there.

If you want a nifty caffeinated beverage, check out this place. I'm not a coffee drinker so this review is for the tea. The order menu had numbered steps where you choose your beverage options including iced or hot, tea type, sweetness level, boba flavor or type but I'm a creature of habit, so I've only had iced milk tea (I chose Assam tea as I was informed that it's the strongest tea they have) with regular sweetness without any boba. I'm looking forward to trying their Hong Kong milk tea next time, as I'm a fan of the strength & flavor of HK tea. The tea drink is pretty flavorful & strong. It will definitely wake you up if you need it. They have a stamp card where you receive one stamp per beverage purchase & receive a free drink after it's full (after 9 drinks).

One of my FAVORITE boba places! As I work in downtown Honolulu, I always walk by this location - it's next to the Executive Center escalators and the Longs Drugs between Bishop Street and Fort Street mall. In the past few years, this space has seen a few changes, but when a new boba place was opening up, you can bet that I was excited. My usual order is an iced, black tea, less sweet (50%), no milk (I don't like milk), and coffee jelly. It costs $4.70. It seems simple, but it always satisfies, especially when I desperately need a break from work. I love how this ship makes it so easy to customize your drinks. I don't want my drink to be too sweet or creamy, so I can adjust the sweetness and ask for no milk. I love the coffee jelly because their coffee jelly is actually more like little cubes of jello. It's the perfect texture with a nice chewyness. I've tried the iced tea with the flavorings, but just a warning, if you don't like it too sweet and you get a flavor, say no to any sweetner...the flavoring is strong enough to not just give the tea a flavor, but also to sweeten up the tea. They also sell Bubbies mochi ice cream (limited flavors). They have a stamp card for the drinks, so once the card is filled, you get a free drink! Double stamps on Monday! The people here are really nice and friendly. They will are always willing tp give suggestions on what to pair with your drink of choice. Cool tip - they use espresso machines to brew the tea!

Oh Teaspresso, how I love thee's milk teas! I am a huge fan of milk tea boba drinks and I tend to get really irritated when I'm trying a new place and the milk tea either lacks flavor, watered down or just plain bad! Coming to Teapresso for the first time, I felt a bit overwhelmed with the selection of different teas, flavor add ins and boba and jelly selections. Instead of holding up the line I asked the friendly lady behind the register (I believe she was the owner) "I love milk tea, what would you suggest?" Oowee, lil lady knew her tea! After a quick schooling on tea, she suggested the Teapresso milk tea. I got that with large boba and "regular" sweet level. Can I just say the freshness of the tea hits you like a ton of euphoria! If you like tea, believe me, you will love it here! I try to come on Monday's because it is double stamp day, though they had forgotten to double stamp me today. I guess I'll just have to make an extra visit *wink*. I'm slowly trying all the milk tea on the menu. Once done I'll start working on my own franken-tea creation...ah ah ah ah! Ok, bad mimic of an evil laugh, but the tea here is no joke! Teapresso milk tea, almond milk tea and thai milk tea all so VERY deliciously fresh, refreshing and tasty! Currently my favorite is the Thai milk tea. I'm hoping I have the will power to try the next time and not order the same milk tea..so hard because it's so good! Friendly, fast service. The owner is a tea yoda! Oh, free WiFi and out door seating. Get you a drink, jump on the wifi and just watch the hustle and bustle of downtown, while relaxing and sipping on awesome tea. Teapresso, I am a fanatic!

When: Wednesday July 22, 2105 Where: Teapresso Bar Reason to go: To meet up with J2 before heading to Bread + Butter I was currently on the C Ala Moana Center country express bus coming from Waianae when I received a text from J2 to meet up with her at either the King Kamehameha Statue or in Downtown then proceed to Teapresso Bar. I had sent her a text saying that I'll meet her in Downtown Honolulu. We met at the Executive Center on Bishop Street where Teapresso Bar is located. Since it was my first time at the Teapresso Bar...I was looking through the window I was reading on the steps of the ordering process. I was planning on getting the cold Jasmine tea in a 24oz cup with lychee until I seen the words MAI TAI. I ended up ordering the Mai Tai Iced Tea with 100% regular sweetness. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Teapresso Bar. I took a glance at my surroundings and noticed there was one side of the shop that had a bunch of pictures on the wall. The individuals in the photos were posing with their favorite cup of flavored tea. J2 and I decided to take our drinks outside to the seating area where there were a couple of reserved tables plus chairs for Teapresso Bar customers. As we exited the shop I noticed that there's free Wi-fi. That's good to know especially for the business workers and the college students. I also noticed the green placard....Teapresso Bar had passed the Department of Health inspection. That's a plus in my books. If and when I am in the Downtown Honolulu I'll make sure to stop by Teapresso Bar and actually get a taste of the cold Jasmine tea with lychee. Now I'm getting thirsty for some iced cold tea from Teapresso Bar. LOL

Really good, but found it rough getting to this location (not to mention I had to pay $4 for 30 minutes of parking in a garage), minus a star. I had the oolong milk tea at less sweet (50%) with large tapioca. The tea flavor is stronger than most milk teas I've had, which I absolutely appreciate. Also tried the avocado smoothie at less sweet and husband liked it but wishes he would've gone for the full sweetness. Although this place is good, given the stressful parking situation (I don't go downtown much for this reason), I would probably not go back (come to Kailua!).

Teapresso has perfected the craft of artisan boba. One size does not fit all and this quaint and reasonably priced cafe allows you to custom create your unique drink to suit your boba preferences. Choose your temp (hot/cold), tea, flavorings (like vanilla or honeydew), "milk" (nondairy creamer, soy, almond etc), and sweetness level (none, light, regular, extra). Each tea option is hand brewed to order, and the owner has extensive knowledge on which flavor pairings are sure to delight your tastebuds! Boba is coming back with some swag!

Gimme dat boba, boba, boba After coming back from Korea and having Gong Cha, bubble tea here was never the same. So naturally, as I do with everything else, a search was started. We already knew Taste Tea was off the list since I really don't want to support an owner smuggling money into a foreign country anyway. Dragon Tea, Mr. Tea, they're really both the same except for size and pricing. Teapresso Bar was suggested by a friend and highly recommended for the freshly brewed tea. And with what I would guess is a $5,000+ tea espresso (hence, teapresso) machine, you would really have no other choice but to fall in love with this place. I remember specifically that I came in for the first time during the soft opening for a Black Milk Tea, but I was recommended what I think was the Hojicha Milk Tea and I must say, she was right. The funny thing is, because I had such low expectations, my first sip while walking back to my car was heaven. Never have I experienced a drink in Hawaii that could make me smile, until that day. Needless to say, I have been back a quite a few times, trying Black Milk Tea, Viet Iced Coffee, and Hong Kong Milk Tea. I always ask for boba in my drink regardless of whether or not it's the standard. Now the issue is, I read a lot of reviews about how their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is "the best" and I just came back from Seattle... where I have also had better, unfortunately. So how am I giving this place 5 stars even though they are not the best? Well the 5 stars goes to the service and also just the pure process of it all. Honestly, this could be one of the best places to get boba in Hawaii, but it still needs some work to stand up against the companies where these drinks originated from. Unfortunately, that includes prices. For what I got in Korea for about $3.25 is a whopping $5+ here. On days I get a drink here, it's almost like I need to skip breakfast to pay for it. But of course, for the best in Hawaii, it's worfff bruh. Come on down and give it a try!

I saved Teapresso for my 400th review, so I hope this is an indication of how much I love this place! I've been pretty good with restricting my bubble tea intake, but since discovering Teapresso, I've been hooked. I come here weekly, sometimes twice a week. Sigh...hello, sugar! Nothing else compares anymore. My favorite is an iced lavender jasmine milk tea with small boba. They're pretty awesome in that they brew the tea for every drink to order and they have a huge variety of teas, add-ons and syrups. You can also customize the sweetness level; a BIG plus for me with all bubble tea places. Go crazy and try different combinations until you find your favorite! Tip: Monday = double stamps for drinks.

The best place for tea in Honolulu. Every cup is freshly brew and made to cater your taste. The employees are very friendly and gave us excellent customer service. The decor is absolutely gorgeous, clean and has a cool rustic feel. The Polaroid wall adds a personal touch for customers. I ordered the hibiscus green tea with mango bits and aloe vera and boy it was delicious and I can definitely taste the freshness of the tea. Come and check it out and you will surly be back like I did many times during my vacation in Honolulu. Don't forget to leave your Polaroid mark on the wall!

Ok so THIS is the best bubble milk tea place to go!!!! This place is the only place that brews FRESH tea. Not sure if you noticed but most of these bubble tea places either have pre made tea...... Or they have the powder mix stuff..... This place also has different types of Bobas.... Their crystal boba is clear and taste sweet like lychee. So yum! First, order hot or iced Second, pick your tea... Black, green, etc Third pick if you want milk, almond milk, no milk, etc Fourth, pick your sweetness.... Last pick your boba, jelly, chia, etc I put "etc" because I can't remember all the choices because there are so many!! The thing that sets this place aside from the rest is that they brew your own tea FRESH!!!! no powders, no premade teas..... FRESH!!! The owner, Steve is awesome, and his workers are fabulous!!! This place is conveniently located on Bishop street, perfect for you HPU students, downtown workers or gym buffs (next to 24hour fitness) I give this place 10 stars and is now number one on my bubble tea list!

After being greeted with empty trays at Mr. Donuts, I needed something to satisfy my sweet tooth. I turned to my trusty Yelp! app and found that milk tea at Teapresso Bar was nearby. The store is super cute with wooden accents and just the right amount of seating to keep it cozy. I like that they have an extensive offering of teas and that I could choose the kind of tea leaves for my drink. At first I thought the service was kind of slow until I realized that they were actually brewing the tea for my milk tea. I love that! That made the tea in my milk tea so much better than what I am used to. I added large boba and those were just the right texture and taste. You can also choose your sweetness level and your milk: non-dairy, almond, soy or whole. Located on the ground floor of the Executive Centre and open Mondays through Saturdays.

I'm not a huge tea drinker/fan in general but I could see myself grabbing a refreshing drink from Teaspresso! My most recent purchase was to try their Smoothie - Lava Flow (adding boba makes it so much more fun!). It is one delicious drink. Price point is reasonable for just under $5 with tax you get a 24oz drink. Yesterday when I purchased this lava flow I was craving sweets, and this hit the spot! I was so full and satisfied. Friends and coworkers enjoy this place and pretty much go daily. You can expect friendly and quick service. In and out in less than 10 minutes with a line. Don't forget they serve BUBBIES MOCHI ICE CREAM! Keep up the great week Teaspresso!

I ended up crashing near Honolulu Downtown on a post-grad trip and everyday on my morning jog I'd be seeing out the door lines for this place. Being a Bay Area tea snob, I rolled by after the lunch rush and surprisingly found myself hooked on their tapioca crack. The staff are all "da kine" of aloha-friendly awesome-ism, and the shop has a modern but homey feel to it. The back wall is a beautifully retro polaroid chessboard of happy customers; after a few return visits, they insisted on snapping a pic of me, but sweaty with an bellyful of loco moco most mornings, my vanity prompted me to share this pic of a half-tanked Vietnamese coffee at the Dole Plantation instead. They offer stamp cards for the regulars, and it turns out by the end of my stay there, I actually qualified for a free one (it helped that I was double fisting a Cafe Su Da and a HK Milk Tea every time I rolled by). If you're ever by Chinatown/Downtown, bookmark Teapresso Bar, bottom's up on the plastic cup, and you're very very welcome.

Everyone who is in the hype of bubble tea places...or wants to be...needs to head down to Teapresso Bar in Downtown, pronto! Now before you say, "Another one?" let me give you a couple of great reasons why you should visit the little hole-in-the-wall tea/coffee bar. 1. Their teas are brewed to order. Meaning: They do not serve tea from a batch made hours ago. Meaning: Fresh tea! 2. They have an assortment of teas I haven't seen at other cafés! I love the scent of osmanthus flowers and was thrilled to see it on the tea leaves option! Other tea leaves offered include: assam (an Indian black tea), black, green, earl grey, hibiscus, hojicha (a roasted Japanese green tea), jasmine, and oolong. 3. Steve, the owner. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, he hopes to delivery SFO-grade milk teas to the folks of Oahu. And from what I heard, SF has grade A milk tea. Steve is passionate about his business and cares about his customers. Teapresso Bar's official grand opening won't be until March, so Steve hopes that in the next month he will receive generous feedback to make the business an even better experience for everyone. 4. Dat polaroid wall. My Instax broke ages ago, but I still love me some instant film! The owner want to fill the back wall with photos of their customers. One heckuva cute idea. 5. You have to love the customization. The tea options begins with picking your tea leaves, choosing flavors (my faves: lavender, lychee, passion fruit), milk (with or without--then, whole, soy, or almond), tapioca (large or small), bursting boba, jellies, and level of sweetness. My first drink was on the Staff's Favorites menu. It was Olivia's drink: osmanthus tea with lychee and guava. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and you could taste the florally osmanthus. My friend had a milk tea (black tea and whole milk) with boba. They also bring in cake from a Japanese bakery called Little D's Bakery. I had a delicious bundt cake. I think it was butterscotch with Nutella swirls. All hot drinks are 20 oz and iced drinks are 24 oz. Steve reminded us students to show them our IDs so we can get a 10% discount! My 24 oz drink came out to $4. Deals.

WOWZAAAA!!! I am currently riding a very caffeinated high right now thanks to Teapresso Bar's Vietnamese Iced Coffee!!! (Sorry about the excessive exclamation points!!! I can't control all of this caffeine-induced excitement!!!) After my first visit to Teapresso Bar when my boba was accidentally forgotten, I received a heartfelt message from the owner, Katelynn N., apologizing for the mishap and encouraging me to return for a drink on the house! I happily returned soon after not to take advantage of the free drink (although I appreciated the offer) but to give a business that truly cares about its customers another try! I have received messages in the past from business owners thanking me for great reviews, but not many from business owners proactively trying to better their customers' experiences! Hats off to Teapresso Bar for going above and beyond with their customer service! When I arrived, I was struggling to keep my eyes open and desperately needed a quick caffeine fix. I had seen the Vietnamese Iced Coffee on the menu before and immediately decided to give it a try. A friendly employee explained that he had just brewed a batch of coffee so it would be fresh and ready in no time! After my first sip, I was ALIVE! After two sips, I was ready to sprint back to my office and DO WORK! Before I sprinted away, he explained to me that Teapresso Bar's Vietnamese Iced Coffee is a special brew of coffee beans from Vietnam with a hint of chocolate added at an early stage to make their Vietnamese Iced Coffee truly extraordinary! And it is, indeed, EXTRAORDINARY! The coffee, hint of chocolate, and condensed milk combine for an explosion of awesome!!! I am so happy I gave Teapresso Bar another try! Who knows where I would be if I hadn't?! (Answer: Sleeping under my desk.)

New bubble tea place in town. Convenient location in town, with hours for both the downtown work and student crowd. Likes: Closest place I can get a milk tea during work hours. They brew their tea instead of using powder, which means you can actually taste the tea. They have a variety of tea flavors (but I'll stick to black or green, no flowers for me please). They also accept credit card. Dislikes: I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, and I didn't like it that much. It had a burnt, almost bamboo-like taste, but maybe it was a bad batch. At $4.50 though, it will be hard to try again because I can get a similar drink at Starbucks for cheaper (Americano extra ice with condensed milk). I might give the only other coffee-based drink a try though. Favorites: I like the regular black milk tea with honeydew. All in all, a great option if I don't want to walk too far for some milk tea.

I've been here 3x already and the service is great! Kuddos to the friendly staff! Steve the owner is a nice cool guy who greets you with a friendly smile! Milk tea made fresh! And I love how soft and chewy their BOBA is! The best part is their stamp card they give you every time you buy a drink! Pretty simple menu: 1. Iced or hot 2. flavor 3. Small Boba or Large Boba 4. Variety Jelly flavors (coffee is my fave) 5. Level of sweetness

This place took over the old Beach Bum Cafe and has a pretty extensive menu of tea (not so much coffee). There are many choices: hot or cold, various teas, various flavors (you can get milk tea for no additional cost), and multiple toppings. Be careful as each choice adds to your total cost. For a iced milk tea with green tea jelly, it ran me $4.71 after taxes. The tea was really fresh and tasty. I could taste the tea, which is exactly what I hope for when buying tea. However, I recommend trying their tea samples before settling on a sugar level. Their normal sweetness is pretty sweet (for those with a low tolerance for sweetness). Although their tea is pretty good and flavorful, I don't care for their green tea jelly at all. It is unnervingly bright green and lacks the flavor and texture of green tea and jelly. The "jelly" was tough and made little to no resemblance to green tea. I think they're still working the kinks out, so I'll be back to give them a second try since it's located in the heart of downtown. This place is pretty hipster... They have succulents hanging by the entrance, mismatched furniture, and coffee in mason jars. I read Jenny G.'s review and I hope the owner offers to take our picture! That sounds like fun.. like leaving your mark.

Teapresso is a new tea and coffee shop with a fresh take--literally--on Taiwanese Tea. Instead of pre-making big batches of tea drinks, they freshly brew your drink to order. Teapresso features a variety of loose leaf teas (Assam, Green, Hibiscus, etc.) to choose from. Brewing the tea fresh makes a huge difference in flavor as tea should be consumed within 30 minutes of being brewed. Their flavors come from concentrated jellies or syrups (Vanilla, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, etc.) which are fresh and as pure as possible. They also have Milks and Add-Ins (Boba, Bursting Boba Jelly, and Sea Salt Foam) to make the perfect drink. Owner/Manager Steve takes the time to walk you though the choices and pays attention to the details. You can mix flavors, ask to adjust the sweetness (the standard sweetness level is a little too sweet for me so I just ask for less syrup), and if they like your custom combo, they may even post your drink as a customer favorite! I really noticed the difference in quality in the Hong Kong Milk Tea and Sea Salt Green Tea. If you like tea, you need to check them out!

I adore this place. I love the myriad of choices. They offer copious addins including bursting bobas, jellies and pearls. They offer a wide array of tea choices and syrups and you can mix together any combo you like. The ladies that work there are all very nice and helpful. They answer all my eccentric tea questions kindly. It's a cute shop too, it's small but they've done wanders with the space. They have a wall with Polaroid photos of workers, the owner, and the customers. Then they have nice rustic decor.

I love this place and I AM SO SAD IT IS CLOSED ON SATURDAYS NOW! I got my boyfriend hooked on the Vietnamese coffees and I always go for the lychee green tea with lychee jelly- So Ono! We live in China town so it was only two blocks a way- so bummed our Saturday ritual of walking and getting drinks at this place has come to a close! I found out that there is a new location near ala moana- not sure I would frequent it because it requires a drive, but I will try to come to this location after work!

Decent. Lots of options of teas to choose so for indecisive people like myself, it was nerve wrecking and I was the only one in line! I ended up with an iced Assam milk tea with coffee jelly because they were out of mini boba and someone told me each big boba was 15 calories each....way to ruin a dream. Nice tea flavor and I liked that I could choose my own milk product. However, that jelly was hard as rocks! It felt like chewing on rubber bands and some of the pieces were cut too big so I couldn't suck it through the straw. I was a little disappointed in that but life goes on. It was refreshing for a hot afternoon nonetheless. I may return because the employees are nice and it's convenient but I wouldn't recommend the jellies if you are used to softer ones. Next time, I want to try their Hong Kong Milk Tea...saw that on the menu too late.

I got a hong kong milk tea with regular pearls from the special menu. It was around $5 for about 20-ounces. Not a bad price for downtown. HK milk tea is known to be very strong and very creamy - but Teapresso's version is not creamy. I made mine 50% sweet, perhaps that screwed up the original formula.

First and foremost, wayyy too many choices. Like, hold up the line with your decision making on all the flavors, milk options, toppings, added pudding. This is a good and also a bad thing. I had three people in front of me and it literally took them forever to decide what they wanted because there were so many choices. I feel like there must be a more efficient way to order these drinks. I almost feel like, if you don't know what you want, don't get in line because you will cause major teapresso traffic. I already knew what I wanted based on yelp reviews and the major studying of the menu due to the hold up of these three people not knowing what they wanted. I ordered the Coconut milk tea with boba, less sweet and regular milk. (they give options like soy or almond milk for a few cents extra) I didn't think the milk tea was anything to blow me away, I think this place has great options (pro and cons to it) and you can create your own drink. They offer a variety of toppings such as taro pudding, egg pudding and even sea salt foam. I was a bit overwhelmed but stuck to what I wanted from the beginning as a safe bet. I do want to try this place again but its nothing I would go out of my way for.

Omg can I give them a billion stars PLEASE? THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM. I come here sooo many times that i have around 6 stamp cards. I seriously suggest getting the tropic osthmanthus, taro milk tea, teapresso milk tea FAVORITES. I would live in this store if i could haah. Seriously recommend coming here! Employees and owner are all great and nice people! They even gave my friend a free drink and gave a free snack! First time we came, one of the employees gave us a taro milk tea for free because she could tell my friend wasnt enjoying his drink cuz he just mixed all these weird stuff together haha

Neat little tea bar in the Executive Center. It is the trendy boba place that all the kids (and downtown employees) are raving about. T he menu selection is amazing. So many different types of teas and you can have it your way. With your choice of almond, soy, whole milk or without. With boba, jelly, or plain. Choose your sweetness level. Then there are the premixed menu items. Super cute idea that mimics some other places . . . BUT what I love is that the lady manning the register is VERY knowledgable about the menu items and will take the time to work with you to help you decide on your order. Last trip I had a dark oolong tea with almond milk and large boba. Yum, yum, yum. Still not as good as Taste Tea, but not a bad choice if you are downtown.

Hong Kong milk tea--good tea, good boba, but a little too watery for milk tea. I would come here again because it's super easy to customize your drink here and the staff is super friendly, but the fact that it's located downtown (and parking is either impossible or $$$$$$) makes it really difficult for me to just come here for a simple visit. If I were working downtown though, this would be my go-to tea shop :)

Came back again and tried their green tea sea salt and vietnamese coffee. Wow, they were both so fragrant and refreshing. The freshly brewed stuff makes a world of difference in taste. Not sure I can go back to premade stuff in the bay area after this place. Totally addicted!

I am always looking for new boba places, and this summer while I was working downtown at my internship, I discovered Teapresso. I noticed the small little shop while running errands for my boss, and one day decided to come in & try it after work. Their service was amazing. I think the lady who owns the shop was working & she was very patient while my friend & I tried to decide what to order. Not only was she patient, but she helped & was so kind the whole time. I went back at least once a week after trying it, because not only was the service good, but it is probably the best boba I've ever had. I've tried the teapresso milk tea with strawberry popping boba, lavender milk tea with regular boba, & the strawberry avocado smoothie with regular boba (I think that's what it was called) & would recommend them to anyone!

First time at Teapresso Bar in downtown... It is located near an eyeglasses place, Longs Drugs, and sorta kinda the UPS store. If you are familiar with the area, I should also mention that it replaced the coffee place that closed about half a year ago! My first impression of Teapresso Bar was, "WOW. THIS PLACE IS SO CUTE!" The workers were very helpful and definitely knew their tea stuff and I definitely appreciated the samples (tea and cake) provided. I ended up ordering Olivia's favorite, lychee/guava... I think it was Osmanthus tea. Not 100% sure exactly which tea it was, but I loved it! It was very refreshing and you can taste the difference between freshly brewed tea and tea that has been brewed in big batches prior to serving (most places do the latter, but not Teapresso Bar!). My friend ordered the sea salt jasmine green tea. It was definitely unique! And interesting, but it's definitely not for sweet tooths (hence... The sea salt). After getting our drinks, the owner offered to take a Polaroid picture of us, let us write on it, and he said plans to cover the wall with Polaroid pictures of customers as decor and a form of "art." :) The owner of the place obviously takes lots of pride as to how this place is run. He explained the process of making each drink to order, fun facts about tea, and why he believes Teapresso Bar is the best. Freshly brewed tea, customizable to your specific taste, at a similar price when compared to competitors! Also, cakes are specially baked by a talented Japanese baker everyday. Yum! Personally, I believe Teapresso Bar's prices can be high if you splurge on add on boba/jellies but I recommend everyone to think of it as you're paying for quality! I look forward to returning to Teapresso Bar and bringing friends here. This is a wonderful place.

This is the best place for milk tea downtown! I love the seafoam green tea and almond milk tea. The customer service at Teaspresso is great too! The line can get a bit long during the lunch rush, but seems to move pretty fast. At almost $5 per drink it's a bit pricy, but definitely worth it! I am in love with this place and will be back.

This is the best bubble tea place in Honolulu, hands down. I love their large variety of tea and toppings, as well as the option to customize it to your preference (sweetness level, type of milk, etc). Unlike many other places that have the tea premade or made from powder, Teaspresso offers quality. I have been going multiple times a week because it's so refreshing to have on an extremely hot day. I have yet to claim a favorite because I'm always interested in trying a new tea or flavor. So far, nothing has disappointed yet. I don't think you can go wrong with your order! :)

Walking in, I expected a sort of "Taste Tea" experience - walk in, choose between 4 items, pay. As soon as I saw the daunting to most menu board, I was wrong. After a brief explanation from the staff, the "process" was extremely easy, with a huge amount of options; I feel like you can really get whatever you want. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was awesome. The drink was the best part though. The flavor that suddenly hits you is the best. Normal milk-teas are overpowered with milk, but this place focuses more on flavor before milk, which is great. This place isn't just another tea cafe. Remember that.

I am so glad this new place opened! Now, I can conveniently get fresh brewed, delicious tea near me :) The owner and workers provided excellent customer service and they were so sweet! I wish I could give them more than five stars just because of their service! He (the owner) explained how fresh their tea is and gave us answers to whatever questions we had. As for the tea, I got the Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea. It was a VERY interesting flavor. I would recommend it to someone that's looking for something different to try. They also give free samples of tea AND their cake of the day! Both were so, so good. Overall, if I could give this place more than five stars, I would!! Excellent drinks, tasty cakes, and outstanding customer service :)

Although this place has opened in Downtown Honolulu for awhile now, I've just recently started to go there a few weeks ago - and have returned many times. Staff is somewhat pleasant, although a couple of them could use some sort of customer service training - which is the reason for the lack of one or two stars. But, I've seem to go for either their Thai Iced Tea (with large boba) or Vietnamese coffee (with coffee jelly). Have yet to try their fruit teas but I'm sure I will eventually...

I ordered the Vietnamese Black Iced coffee and it was really good. I am not sure if he was the owner but there was a gentleman there that explained to me that the coffee is actually from Vietnam unlike the other coffee shops that claim to use coffee from Vietnam but instead use coffee from New Orleans. He showed me how they slow drip the coffee. Can't wait to go back and try the other teas and coffees they offer.

I had such a good first experience at Teapresso Bar! Katelynn (co-owner) was so friendly and informative. She let us know that the tea is brewed fresh for every order, which gave the drinks more of a tea flavor than most other places, and I loved it! They have various non-dairy milk options which is great for lactose-intolerant and vegan customers (me)! They have stamp cards (buy nine drinks, get the tenth free) and monthly drawings for completed stamp cards--bonus! They also have coffee drinks, spritzers, and smoothies, and many different customizations available (jellies, syrups, tapioca sizes, puddings, chia seeds, etc.). On top of the great offers and drinks, the interior is aesthetically pleasing (a modern-industrial feel) and great for pictures! There are a ton of Polaroid pictures on the wall of the fortunate customers that got the option to be photographed. We parked at the Safeway/Longs on Vineyard Boulevard and walked a couple blocks to avoid parking fees, but it was so worth it. I plan to come back at every opportunity.

Their Peach flavored milk tea with boba may have well saved some lives. Having a bad day now wont be as bad since I work within walking distance of Teapresso. I avoid going at peak times to avoid the line and have never been remotely dissatisfied. The option of choosing your own milk product was very nice and flavor wise Teapresso is definitely elite. They have way too many flavors and combinations so its best to study the online menu before going in. Service has always been happy and efficient even on my first visit where I just stood there and stared. Price is about average especially considering their location. It's been a difficult battle between eating my home lunch or just drinking my lunch (Teapresso) and bringing one of their "cakes of the day" back to my desk.

Came here after my friend introduced me to it and I fell in love. Although being a little off from my usual route downtown, this place is worth the extra five minute walk. First time there and I was craving milk tea and I was pretty over all of the regular milk tea places in town. Their menu was extensive and I loved the fact that their tea was made fresh. I ended up getting a regular milk tea with peach flavoring and boba (all which cost me around $4, more or less) The atmosphere is quaint, the Polaroid wall is something different than most places. Loved looking at the artwork and pictures that were hung up. Wish it was a little bigger, but what can you do? Overall, the vibe from the little shop was very chill and the workers were pretty nice. One thing that hinders the full five-star review was the service. They were pretty quiet and seemed as if they didn't really care that we were there. They weren't necessarily rude, but not extremely welcoming either. However the owner did stop by and give us a free drink and started chatting with us! He was extremely sweet and made up for the lack of welcoming. Would definitely come back with more friends, love the place and I'm craving for more of their amazing tea!

Out of all the tea places in the island of Oahu I would say that this is the winner of the BEST THAI ICED TEA in town. A must try to all tea lovers and props to the owner Steve for making these awesome drinks!

I work up the street so I find myself at Teapresso often. I'm a huge coffee drinker, but every once in a while, I crave freshly brewed tea. I know I can make myself a cup of tea at work, but drinking the same, bland green tea can get boring. That's where Teapresso comes in to save my days. I love how they always have different samples of teas, milk teas, coffees, and cakes for me to try each time I go. The staff is very familiar with my presence, but they never say anything when I go for all the samples. They respect me as a loyal customer, which I appreciate! Steve, the owner, is from California and told me he brought this concept from CA to HI. I went to college in CA so I was aware of the Tea Bar concept before moving here. When I told him my bf is from SD and I went to school in SD, he hooked us up with a free green tea white chocolate bundt cake. It was amazing! Great customer service. They really know how to treat their customers. My usual is the iced regular sweet Osmanthus. OSMANTHUS IS MY STUFF, MAN! It's this floral-y green tea blend, that's great for an afternoon pick-me-up. I also drink this stuff after a nice workout, to hydrate myself. Don't forget to pick up a stamp card because you'll find yourself coming back the next day, and the next day, and the next day... Also, Teapresso is more affordable than its competitor, Teavana.

Been here twice, first time ordered a coconut milk tea with coconut jelly and boba. Thought it was alright. Also tried a lemon assam tea with passion fruit bursting boba (highly not recommended). The lemon was wayy overpowering, which made the drink sour/bitter, couldn't taste the tea at all. Honestly it was god awful. I thought the milk tea was alright, but my friend thought the boba was super chewy. Also, the drinks here are somewhat pricey. They recently started a stamp card

New shop, but boy is this business owner getting it right!! Just recently went there with my friends and they loved it just as much as I did! Not only was my taro milk tea just absolutely AMAZING. (Made with real taro not powder like normal places). But the owner was just such an incredible guy and you could really tell he cared about his customers. We received a free drink card for our next visit because of a weekly promotion they were having, as well as having our Polaroid captured and put up on the wall. (FOR FIRST TIMERS) So awesome! If you haven't been there just yet I suggest you do, because boy this guy is doing it right.

Love the fact that this place uses real tea and coffee...no powder like lots of other bubble tea places. We got the coffee milk tea & Vietnamese coffee and it was all amazing! Baristas were all super friendly and patient with my father too, who had no idea what boba/bubble tea was!

The 100% Kona coffee I am sipping is good. The staff were attentive and fast. The guy performing surveys of customers before they had received their drinks seemed to all around dampen the mood, make the staff uncomfortable, and make me never want to come back. Do you know what I don't want to do in the morning before I have had any caffeine? get interrogated about my preferences for service.

This was my third time back and I decided to post a review based on the exceptional service, alone. I brought my partner with me because I've been telling her about it for weeks...we like to try new tea places:) On this visit, we had the opportunity to meet the owner, Steve. He was very nice, extremely helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Steve even let us try a drink that I would never think of ordering but I'm always open to trying new things...green tea with matcha pudding. It was different (I guess I'm not used to the freshly brewed tea flavor yet) but to my surprise, quite tasty (even though I'm not a big fan of green tea products). I would say more about his awesome service but I'll leave that up to everyone to experience for themselves. I also saw an interesting item on the menu, ginger milk tea. I'm excited to go back and try it. Thank you, Steve. Keep up the good work!!!

This is my new FAVORITE place for coffee!! I'm a HUGE coffee drinker and my morning coffee is a necessity! I normally run to Starbucks and get a dark roast regular coffee with a few fixings but now that I've discovered Teapresso... That is a thing of the past. Their Vietnamese milk coffee is delicious!! The flavor is a little different from other Vietnamese coffees that I've had but I think that's what makes it special. The best part is that it's very strong (just how I like it) and keeps me going through the day. They have a variety of flavors and ways to customize drinks. Some of the options were things I've never seen before such as sea salt foam. I haven't tried the tea yet but they all look amazing. Overall, I always have a great experience when I come here. The staff is friendly, fast and very knowledgeable. They do a great job suggesting new things and my drinks always come out perfect!

If you prefer more of a "tea only" beverage, then teapressor bar is pretty ok. Also I have tried different levels of sweetness, but the tea was either too sweet or not enough sweetness. Their coffee drinks are okay...

I'm not from Hawaii, I'm from San Jose California which has soo many boba tea stores now.. but i was visiting. Word on the street is this new Boba Tea Store that recently opened. Of all the boba tea stores in Hawaii, this is theeee only place that freshly brews their tea and is made to order. It definitely outshines anything, even starbucks next door possibly. Their menu... great selections, some of them i've never heard of before but they sound delicious haha. Too bad i was only visiting for a week :( I'd say personal favorite is the Teapresso Milk Tea and Coffee Milk Tea, which happens to be quite popular.

I've been here a handful of times and haven't written a review. When this place opened, I thought oh wow another business that's gonna fail. Boy was I wrong! This place is packed with customers. The best part about this place is that you can customize your drink! It's awesome because I don't like really sweet drinks. I ordered a hojicha milk tea with less sweetness and coffee jelly. Once I had this, I was hooked. I also tried the hibiscus tea with aloe jelly. That was also so good! The staff there is really friendly. This is definitely a must at least once a week.

My new favorite place for bubble tea ! It's seriously just amazing. Me & my boyfriend came across it and decided to try it. The owner ( at least I think he was the owner) was super nice & very welcoming. He came up to us and talked to us, gave us recommendations, told us a little about the drinks. It was all just really awesome. They have a step by step guide to making your tea starting off with size then the actual tea itself. They have an actual tea brewer there where they make the fresh tea of your choice. I recommend the Assam tea ! My flavor I chose mango. The cool thing about this place is that they don't use any of the artificial syrup flavor all the bubble tea places use here ! They use real mango jelly. The owner also informed us that though they don't use the syrup for all there drinks for the ones they do they use real organic non GMO syrup. Awesome ! I got boba small size and boba mango blast. The best mango bubble drink I've been vet had ! After we bought the drink the owner took our picture with his Polaroid camera and put it up on his wall along with other Polaroids ! Seriously had an amazing experience. You should try this place ! Seriously, not joking. Do it.

The atmosphere is amazing, the playlist is super on point, and definitely can't forget the drinks!!! The tea is amazing, unlike any other kind of milk tea that I've had before. Even though the location is a hole in the wall, don't underestimate this place. Without a doubt coming back for MORE!

I'm new to this side of the beverage world but teapresso is amazing. the staff to the owners are extremely welcoming and down to earth. Have a selection that nothing else compares to in Hawaii, I will be a life long customer and supporter of this business!

I popped into Ross for a quick shopping trip and randomly asked the clerk if there was good place near by for tasty tea. She said "oh yea, just around the bend." She said she'd heard a lot about it but hadn't gone yet. I WAS SO HAPPY... I went over and was greeted by Steve the owner, (He also serves in the military with not long to retire, plus has a clothing line he's developed in SFO for "equality!") I felt happy to know he was so dedicated to life! He showed me the steps to ordering the perfect tea of my choice. First off, have you have been to a place where your tea was loose, top quality and then pressed just for you, hot or cold, and about 20 other choices to make it just the way you want it. One of the clerks even remembered me from a beach wedding she saw me perform. That was cool! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, even standing in line. It feels different from your standard bubble tea shop. On the rear wall, a collection of photos is being collected via Polaroid and feels nostalgic and trendy all over again. Small place, it's going to be packed! Oh and then I couldn't figure out how to get the straw in the plastic cover over my tea that was sealed super tight and they showed me how to put my finger over the top of the straw, then puncture the top and the straw when right in, no mess. LOL! For a moment I felt like I'd been living under a rock! I also had the Macha green tea bundt cake. Two slices... simply decadent and should be shared. Moist with choc That's it... I'll go back for sure. I left by way of Ross and gave my punch card to the clerk inside and said thanks... it was worth it! She was grateful! I need to get another card :)

. The place has a "hipster" vibe with the Polaroid walls, chalkboards, and good music. Once I got there I started taking pictures and I was approached by Yen, who said I could take as much pictures as I wanted. Yen told me that if I wanted to stay a bit longer, she'd give me a drink for free! She was testing out flavors so I got to be the guinea pig for a bit. She gave me a drink that she called "basic" because it was just lemon with some green tea, but it tasted delicious and refreshing I chilled inside and Yen offered me another drink! It was some kind of drink with strawberry and sparkling water. Which I liked better than the lemon and green tea drink. But anyways.... This place is a hidden gem! They only opened up 4 weeks ago and I was so surprised because it looked so welcoming. Stop by Teapresso and tell Yen the girl with glasses and a camera told you about this place!

This new joint offers an extended assortment of tea and coffee concoction. A sweet smile and acknowledgement as you walk into the entrance door is invariably a huge factor to grant your customer a sense of pleasing first impression. The service is always great and friendly. I experienced the pleasure of tasting several mixture of teas and iced coffees and I tell you' they are great tasting and refreshing. My favorite thus far is the Vietnamese 5 shot espresso with milk, this will surely keep you awake throughout the day. I definitely encourage everyone to try them and explore the flavor town of teas!!!

Really good stuff here. Fresh brewed tea, exceptional service and good music. Best boba shop on oahu in my opinion. Tried three of their drinks the first time. The sea salt green tea is legit as hell. Can't wait for their second location to open

I tried the taro milk tea which is what I always get at any tea places. This one is pretty good. You can really taste the tea with the taro as the secondary taste. I had the regular sweet but I think next time I'll get less sweet. The downside? 24 oz is their smallest size which isn't bad if you're sharing or just super thirsty. Also, the straws are huge. I hope they get a regular straw for people that don't want bobas in their drinks.

Soooooo good! I LOVE coffee and when i found out that there was a new tea/coffee place opening up by my job i was excited. Teapresso is not your typical coffee shop, decorated with numerous conversation starter pieces and cutesy decor, its has a very inviting feel. Ive tried both the tea and Vietnamese coffee..the black tea with fresh strawberries is refreshing and sweet. I don't care too much for the small popping flavor balls...something about balls bursting in my mouth doesnt sound too good. Earlier this week i tried the Darth Vader 50/50...let me tell you, dont let the name scare you. It's my favorite thing on the menu. It combines the powerful taste of Vietnamese coffee and tea. Dark by color and full of flavor. A great choice for the fellow coffee lover.

I am a huge bubble milk tea fanatic and this is the best milk tea I have ever tasted. I think the difference is they brew the tea so it's fresh. The customer service here is fantastic and more importantly, knowledgeable. I have tried their black tea milk tea and the Assam milk tea. If you like milk tea you should definitely try this place out!!!!

I love coffee shops as well as supporting local ones. Love this place. Friendly customer service, good recommendations, nice atmosphere and artsy decorations (just like any coffee shop). A lot of selections to choose from coffee, tea, and smoothies. My favorite one is the avocado smoothie with large boba. Not too sweet. The owner? (forgot her name..sorry) was very friendly and informative on the various drinks they had. She looked very knowledgeable and passionate about the products she sell by the way she talks. Ask them for their secret menu like honey dew smoothie and strawberry taro ( I think its on the menu now since its popular). Tried the Vietnamese coffee which is pretty strong but also not bad as well. I like that they add a little condense milk? for a little sweetness. I've heard their Matcha green tea is really good. That's next on my list! The only thing I wish they had more of was sizes. I think the smoothies were only in large.

Teapresso is the best! My girlfriend and I frequent this place at least 3 times a week for their amazing, freshly brewed iced teas. Our favorite is their Osmanthus tea, but they have a very good selection of black, green, and oolong teas. They also have options to make your tea a milk tea or top it with sea salt foam, and they have a long list of different flavors that you can flavor your drink with. They even serve bundt cakes and have a different flavor each day, and their cakes are always very moist and delicious. My favorite is their white chocolate matcha bundt cake - so good! The owners and staff are all very friendly, and I have never had a bad experience here. Teapresso is one of my favorite spots downtown and is definitely the place to go for coffee and tea enthusiasts.

I had a really good first experience at Teapresso Bar. I was initially overwhelmed by the menu but the co-owner, Katelynn, just so happened to walk in that moment and she assisted my friend and I with ordering. She was very friendly and was able to describe their drinks well to help us figure out what we wanted. I ended up getting a Hong Kong Milk Tea and my friend got their special Teapresso Milk Tea. I really liked both of these drinks because the tea taste was very prominent and I personally like more of an authentic milk tea flavor for my drinks. We ended up staying until we finished our drinks and I think it would be a good idea to start using mugs/cups/mason jars for sit-in customers. It would be eco-friendly and also makes for a cute photo!

I wondered into Teapresso this afternoon after a meeting to check out the menu and decor of this new establishment. I hadn't planned on ordering anything because it was a bit late to have caffeine for me. I was warmly greeted by the staff and owner, Chris. I explained my caffeine dilemma and a very knowledgeable staff member suggested some caffeine-free and low caffeine tea options. After talking for a bit they suggested that I try a tea of my choice on the house. I decided on a pu-erh tea which is not too popular due to its earthy flavor. I personally really enjoyed it chilled. I liked the warm attitude, cool decor, and the passionate staff and owner even more. I previously worked in the food and beverage industry for 15 years and have to say that they are doing something right. They have certainly gained a new patron and I will be promoting Teapresso at any chance I get!

Great choices of tea and is freshly brewed. Pick your tea first either hot or cold, than you pick the types of tea with the level of sweetness and than your choice of boba, jelly or those popping boba. I tried the jasmine tea with lychee jelly. It is very refreshing. Staffs are very friendly. I will definitely come back to try the other types of tea.

I love that i can actually taste the tea! Most tea places, you can mostly taste sugar. The unique thing about the tea here, is that they get it from all over the world!
