I should've just saved my money to buy something cheaper at Taco Bell. Almost the same quality of food :P

First of all, the young guy who puts together your order has a great atttitude for such a thankless job, and so does their cashier. The people who work here in the front make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Take note Golden Duck chop suey.

Way better than you'd expect from a food court. The portions are small for the price, but the chipotle garlic shrimp burrito is pretty awesome.

Beef! Beef! Get the beef! Taco plate that is. There's a coupon in the Ala Moana magazine for a buy-one-get-one-free #9 special (2 tacos, with salad, mexican rice, and some tortilla chips), get this! Don't get the chicken tacos. Whenever I've been told to keep an open mind and get the chicken (yada yada yada!), it is always, always, always dry. I always hear a "yeah, the beef one is better" after we get the chicken tacos. So get the beef taco plate! Also, the best salsa is the medium salsa. It's the tastiest!

Best service in the food court. The employees here are the nicest I've met in the Ala Moana food court. Usually the food vendors here don't give a rip about you and don't care about life. The food here is okay. Everything is priced around $10- the food court average. I had the taco salad which was pretty bland. Basically they just put all the meh ingredients into a puffy deepfried taco shell. The only saving grace was adding a lot of salsa to it. Would I come here again? Sure, but there isn't anything really stand out about this place. So only if I really want to eat mexican will I come here.

I'm going to preface this entire review by stating the following: I have been here multiple times, I have previously found bones (twice) whenever I ordered chicken in anything (quesadilla, regular tacos, street tacos, nachos, etc.), the staff is hardly helpful and doesn't want to be there anymore than I want to find bones in my food. Anywho, on to the review. After previously finding bones in anything chicken related here, I decided to give this place one more chance. I went there today and ordered nachos with beef. I was in a rush so when they handed me my food to go I didn't think twice about checking it before leaving. Boy, was that a mistake or what. So as I open up my to go box I immediately notice that my nachos are covered in chicken. Given the fact I didn't have a whole lot of time to eat nor the time to go back I decided to say "hey, what the heck. What are the chances I find bones in yet a third item?" So I began eating it and I kid you not, first bite, bone. Second bite, bone. At this point I am incredibly aggravated so I use what's left of my lunch break to go back here. I explained the situation to which they offered me anything else on the menu. Moral of the story, don't order chicken here. Actually, scratch that. Don't order anything here. Ever.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
