Went here and ordered a half BLT and clam chowder. The three ladies working there were fairly friendly. Sandwich was very unmemorable, but it was well-toasted. Chowder was also plain and I suspect it was out of a can, but at least it was hot on a rainy day. Altogether, it was a filling and fairly cheap meal for a little over $5. Good in a pinch when you're in a hurry and don't feel like eating a plate lunch at one of the many nearby establishments.

I eat here for lunch on a regular basis. I almost always go for the same club sandwich- the #13 egg salad and bacon. It is very good and quite filling. also - excellent taco salads on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

3.93 for a small latte I went back the next day and got the same thing for $3 flat. What? Why? My co-worker got a bagel for like $2.75 with butter. They charge for butter. It seems like this place has a few regular menu items like bagels and sandwiches and also has daily specials. One of the days I happened to be there while they were cooking a shrimp stir-fry for the day's lunch special and it smelled reeeeally yummy. I haven't eaten anything there, though. The prices are not so attractive. It's like "airport prices", you know? I will probably be back many times, though, because I work across the street and there aren't really many options for coffee. At least they're friendly!

Friendly coffee shop. Prices are a little more on the expensive side. If you are looking for a quick, simple meal but willing to pay the extra dollar, this is the place to go.

The pricing is sure lucrative (less than $10 for lunch) and there is no annoying credit card minimum! But be warned-this isn't exactly gourmet. Think if it more as a home packed lunch. My half pastrami sandwich left much to be desired as it had a single slice of pastrami, a slice of lettuce, a slice of tomato, & mustard (I passed on the mayo). The products in the store scream Costco to me (lol, trust me-I frequent it enough). The clam chowder was a little watery for me but I appreciated getting decipherable bites of clam. In my opinion, the soup was also warmed up to a temperature that was a bit high...it was a smidgeon below burn my mouth hot. Overall I'd come back for a larger order of the soup and skip the sandwich. Even while running late for work, I can probably whip up a better sandwich at home... They do have daily specials which add variety to the soup, salad, sandwich mix. Service is fast and the wait is minimal. There are obvious regulars who come in. PS: The saltine cracker was super hard...not sure if it was the brand or if that means it was stale.

Nice friendly place to stop for a quick sandwich or salad. They have daily specials too that look tasty. Coffee is good and the prices are reasonable, I recommend highly to anyone in the neighborhood who is hungry and in a hurry.

Love this place! The sandwiches are all simple goodness. The daily specials, amaze. Thursday is salmon day and you bes be trying that before you die without experiencing it. I also appreciate very much their soup and half sandwich combo. This is a great place if you don't have a lot of time and are craving diner food that reminds you of childhood and happy times.

I've only had their breakfast sandwiches so far, but they are yummy! I get a bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin, although they have a variety of toppings and breads to choose from. The bacon and egg are both cooked perfectly!

Great for a quick lunch if you work/live in the area. Chicken Caesar salad is huge and even come with bread! They have quite the variety but I did not like the shrimp tempura, though that could be because I was expecting actual tempura and not fried shrimp.

I love this place. Every Tuesday they have Spaghetti...OMG...mouthwatering. The plate is FILLED with spaghetti, with some mixed greens and toasted garlic bread. Only $7.95 for a regular plate, $5.95 for a mini plate. They have specials every day. Today (Friday) they had shrimp tempura. Yummmyyyy!!! On Tuesday and Wednesday they have Taco Salads....Filled with tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Mmmmmm. They also have the greatest sandwiches with different types of bread you can choose from. Multi-grain, wheat, croissant. They even toast the bread for you. When I'm in the mood for a sandwich I get a bacon, turkey and avocado sandwich on multi-grain....whewwwww...i'm getting hungry. The staff are friendly and remember what you order. What's great is that this place is right around the corner from where I work. It's on Cooke St. in the Imperial Plaza. If you're ever in the area you must try this place.

Boyfriend lives in the Imperial Plaza for years now and only recently he's mentioned that there's this really good sandwich shop downstairs of his building. He's done takeout here twice already and yesterday after deciding that we would spend MLK holiday by going hiking at Kokohead trail. Got here at around 1pm and the place was empty which was nice because bf mentioned that it's normally packed during lunch time. I got the turkey, ham and avocado sandwich (but took the meats out and gave it to the bf to put into his sandwich) with multi grain and toasted...which basically only left me with bread, avocado, lettuce and tomato's. He got the pastrami sandwich with avocado and my meats inside, toasted and with rye bread. For 2 sandwich and a small chips the total came out to be $14 and some change which isn't to bad because both sandwich were huge and thick! It was so huge that I could only eat half of it. My sandwich was so yummy and fresh! Prices are good, considering the amount of food it had and the workers are really nice...plus place is so convenient for us and anyone. They also have a huge selection of sandwiches, soups, chips and drinks...and you can substitute any toppings for something else.

I had the Salmon Salad today and it was great. The Salmon was cooked and hot and the salad was fresh and crisp. Very tasty. The owner and her staff are extremely nice and accommodating.

Try the taco salad on Wednesday and Thursdays. I finally got to try it today and it was superb! They also make their own salsa because you can tell the jalapenos are fresh and it's very garlicky - more like a tasty pico de gallo. A pretty generous portion for $6.68.

Ordered half hot pastrami sandwich and salad. Not something I would go back for and buy again, as the sandwich was just meh. I did like the cucumbers and zucchini in the salad, though. However, they messed up 2 things on my order, putting the wrong dressing on my tossed salad and adding mustard when I asked them to hold it. For pete's sake IT'S WRITTEN ON THE COVER OF THE CONTAINER! Next time I'll keep walking down the street.

They put Clubhouse in the name because they specialize in $7 "club" sandwiches. I guess they do because they slap another piece of bread in each one! The problem is that there wasn't much else in mine. I was supposed to get a turkey, avocado and cheese, but I got a bread sandwich instead. Two thin slices of turkey that couldn't reach the ends of the bread, half of a half of a half a slice of avo and a little lettuce.. but the bread was perfectly toasted! The ingredients were fresh, but the Pepsi was two months expired and flat. (OK, it was flat first, then we checked the date on the bottle)

Small mama-san store. I would say mom and pop but it's ran by Japanese ladies, girl power! I recently found this place and instantly loved it. They do have daily specials and awesome salads but they are a sandwich shop. Nothing fancy here, you can easily make these sandwiches at home, but there are times when we have no time. This is the place to be for simple, classic sandwiches. So far, I've enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, my choice being bacon, egg and cheese on croissant or a plain bagel. Simple, tasty and inexpensive! My usual breakfast costs $3.50 with tax. Awesome! Their salads are so good! My current favorite is the ahi salad...Oh me, oh my, so yummy I could cry, lol. This is now my regular stop for morning coffee. I'm a coffee lover. I love a simple, perfectly brewed cup of coffee and they have it here. Friendly service, good food and an excellent price. Tired of restaurants and craving something simply homemade, this is the place to try. Some of the simplest things are what we need in this hectic of times.

I've had fairly ok experiences at this place but not today. After an early surf session I hadn't had a chance to eat anything. Naturally I was starving at 1pm in the afternoon. Stopped by this place for a quick eat. I ordered a TUNA salad, ranch dressing on the side. Waited about 10-15 minutes for it. (Not much goes into a tuna salad...tuna + greens) but they seemed a little busy. Got my salad which said tuna on the styrofoam container. Got home...Opened my package and ... TURKEY Salad .... Mind you by the time I got home it's already 1:30...still hadn't eaten a thing. I actually don't like turkey in it's pure form (bacon, sausage, jerky are ok). I call them up to explain the situation and then they said they would exchange it if I brought back my salad. I called back to make sure that it would be ready when I got there as I was HANGRY by this point. I waited for my friend to finish his food and got back to the clubhouse. Got there salad was ready. I learned my lesson the first tine and checked...Tuna Salad...but NO ranch dressing. So I had to tell them. No apologies. Great. For food that's just okay...really was not worth the hassle of coming back. But as with most things, it's the principle of it. I wanted what I paid for. But given the time and effort put into getting my tuna salad, I think it was way over priced.
