So pho-ken goooooDD! Of the many, MANY Pho joints there are...this is my fav. For whatever reason, everything is good: the noodles, the veggies, the meat (I get the rare steak & well-done brisket), and, most especially, the broth. Parking is conveniently in the back in the municipal parking lot...bring your quarters...

I always order the large bowl of pho with eye round steak and meat balls. I don't know if this place is under new ownership or not, but the people working there don't look familiar. The eye round steak which I always order on the side to drop in the hot broth, is a much lighter color now than previously, otherwise I would have given Pho Bac I five stars. There's a municipal (metered) parking lot in the building (enter from Nimitz Highway), however, the parking stalls are very narrow. If you own a condo on wheels (SUV), or worse, an Escalade, Hummer, Navigator, or Suburban...shame on you for taking two parking spaces, and you best park somewhere else. UPDATE: Definitely under new ownership. The iced coffee with condensed milk was definitely not as good as previously, it contained less condensed milk, and something was missing, don't know what. They give less garnish and noodles than the previous owners, too. We have decided we won't come back here any more, and I'm taking it off my "Pho Goodness" list.

So me and my family came to eat here for lunch. I ordered a small pho tai and my friend ordered com thit nuong. My pho came out in a timely manner and so did everyone else's food. The portion was perfect for me but everyone who ordered medium was barely given more than the portion of a small. By the time that my friend finished his com thit nuong, his tiny bowl of soup came out about 30 minutes later. Overall I would not eat here ever again. Their soup is plain and their portions are distorted. Yuck!

Haven't eaten here in over five years but it was my favorite pho place. The broth was clear and beefy, not sweet and dark like at some of the other places. I always ordered the pho with brisket and round eye steak, which came in pretty generous portions. The beef stew is really good too. The only thing that sucked about this place was the parking on weekends. The Nimitz parking lot was always full of old people who couldn't park and FOB's who didn't und
