Stayed at Sheraton a week and ate here our first morning. We ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, sausage and a croissant (the only breakfast choice). For a small amount of food and bottled water the total came to about $50. Stay away from here and go to the Kai Market just down the hall. It's a buffet for a bit more but the food is so much better and unlimited. I imagine Ingredients is not going to be long for this world with their outrageous pricing and poor food quality.

upscale snack shop with a view. this place has everything from gourmet salads, sandwiches, panini, brick oven pizza, soup, coffee and gelato. its located that the sheraton waikiki hotel all the way in the back near the pool (right in the mix of peet's and rumfire). on a recent visit i ordered a wild mushroom pizza ($12) and a friend of mines assembled her own salad ($7-$12). my pizza came out just the way i like it. the crust was thin and it had tomato basil sauce with mozzarella. my friend's salad was delish as well. the portions are good enough to share with another person so that's what we did. overall it was a good meal. only downside is that your paying waikiki prices and its located all the way in the back of the hotel but the great view of waikiki beach and diamond head makes up for it. *note* construction is ongoing to the hotel so hours are changed. currently you can only order pizzas up till four but sandwiches and the salad bar are open till ten.

I've eaten here a couple times, and of course it's a little overpriced because its in a hotel, but paying 15$ for a breakfast place really sucks. Even though it is decent in size...(2 hash brown patties, spoon full of eggs, 2 strips bacon(I think it was ready-cook), 1 sausage link & a croissant), it still felt wrong paying that much. Its nice that they give it to you on a plastic plate with a nice lid on top so that you can take it on the go. I would REALlY love this place if they lowered the price. Pizza is also good because they make it for you right in front of you.

I wanted to grab a quick snack as we were staying here at the Sheraton. $2.50 for a yoplait was pricey and $8 for a small sushi plate was also pricey. The banana was also overpriced at $1.50. The prices should be cut in half since it's mostly for hotel guests.

6/27/10: Upscale snack shop located in the Waikiki Sheraton. Get over the tourist premium, expect to pay that anywhere in Waikiki - they serve brick fired pizzas here - they have three different flavors (cheese, mushroom or peperoni) for $13 (advertised as 10" but turns out its much larger since its hand tossed), add another $3 for the meat lovers pizza. Family grabbed several pizzas here for a quick dinner, yes the bill was over $100 but saved us from having to drive elsewhere for cheaper options. Anyways, brick oven pizza was well done, thin crust tasted awesome and crunchy. Pre-made salads here along with a wide range of canned/bottled or fountain drinks. Great place to get a quick bite next to the beach.

Didn't stay at the Sheraton but ended up eating here twice. Got pizza both times. It was delish and big enough to share. For fresh ingredients, it was reasonably priced at $12.50 for the basic pizza. Both times I took the pizza out to sit outside by the pool.

Cheaper than The Edge with many of the same "ingredients". Hey, it's the Sheraton. It's Waikiki. What sort of deals are you expecting? Save a buck but don't expect to save a lot of bucks! We actually "discovered" this place on our last visit to Sheraton Waikiki. We'd walked by it hundreds of times before when suddenly...the salad bar and wood fired pizza caught our eye. Hey--why not take it up to our room and enjoy it from our ocean front lanai? It was a hit. Mind you, it was nothing spectacular but it was good. Salad bar was decent...we've seen better, we've seen worse...and the pizza was hot, fresh and tasty. It's all about your expectations being realistic and within reason. Don't set them too high and you won't be disappointed when frequenting a place like this.

I really made my rounds at the Sheraton, but one of the places I stopped at a few days was called Ingredients. Simply because it's a build it yourself type of place. Salad bar, custom pizza and sandwiches - you can order it the way you want it to be. They offer pre-packaged salads and sandwiches, but will make them to order. So one morning we ordered a Roast Beef and Gorgonzola with a couple drinks. While we were waiting I noticed all of these popcorn specialty packages from Primo Popcorn. I noticed all of these outrageous flavors like Raging Crab, Prime Rib, Coconut, Lemon Drop, Salty Dawg and Rainbow Kalekoa. We took our sandwich outside, split it and sat outside in the patio area. It was really good and tasted fresh carved, even if it wasn't it was worth every bite. goo.gl/brmaK I came back a couple days later and bought a couple bags of the popcorn, which was too good to keep. I decided to come back on my last day to order up some more for gifts. Everyone who got them loved them and it made me want to order more online!

Ingredients is a fine place to grab a doubly overpriced chocolate macadamia nut box that you could purchase at Lawson's a few hundred feet away while spending a few hundred pennies more. I suppose there's alright gelato, which, let's be completely frank, might be a smidgen too sweet for the tart Hawaii sun...and the billion dollar papayas, though sliced in half, are no more delicious than the ones at the local market, even if they are better than any papayas you can get on the mainland.

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat before heading to the pool. My friend and I shared a cheese pizza because we were starving. It isn't the best, but it's quite convenient since it's near the infinity pool area. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for the pizza to cook. Overall, it's the convenience that you're paying for!

We ducked into Ingredients instead of going to Kai Market next door because we wanted a quick bite while we saved our spots poolside at the Sheraton for the Honolulu Festival fireworks. I had one of their pizzas off of the specials board. It was called the Italiano Americano. It had tomato sauce, buffalo cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and prosciutto. I had also grabbed a 1 liter bottle of water from the drink refrigerator. The pizza was listed at $15 on the specials board, so when I went to pay I handed the cashier a $20 bill, and then there was an awkward pause, and when I looked at the register display I had to give him $2 more. When I looked at my receipt I noticed that the 1 liter bottle of water was $6!! No wonder they didn't display the price in the fridge! I had paid less than $2 for a larger bottle of that exact same brand just the day before at 7-11! Luckily I was able to return that bottle of water, and get a fountain $2.75 drink instead! The cashier was very understanding about not wanting a $6 bottle of water. The pizza was actually pretty tasty, and had a good proportion of ingredients. You may think $15 is a bit much to spend on a pizza, and it is, but I would say that it is almost comparable to a CPK pizza in size and flavor, so $15 isn't too far a stretch to pay. Plus, Ingredients is in a resort hotel, so you should expect to pay at least $2-3 more than you would pay at a regular eatery (the water is a prime example). Some of the other foods you can get here include fresh fruits and salads, little boxes of cold breakfast cereal, pastries, hot dogs, and sandwiches among other items. If you find yourself at the Sheraton and want a quick bite, or something to take out stop by Ingredients to at least see what they have to offer. Who knows, you may enjoy it!... Just make sure you ask for the prices of anything that isn't already labeled! :p

During my 3 day staycation at the Sheraton Waikiki, we ate here twice. As Jesse W mentions it's an "upscale snack shop." While I would not pay 14 buckaroos for a sand-mich, my boyfriend and I opted to order the pizza and drink special for $14 buckaroos. We split the pizza and drink and it was just the right amount of food for us. We both agreed that we thought the Meat Lovers pizza was pretty good. We will be visiting again soon, since we received 2 $20 vouchers to eat at Ingredients. And I'd like to thank the staff for being so cordial and nice. We ran into a lot of issues at the Sheraton but the staff at Ingredients was very pleasant.

Absolutely terrible! They market themselves as fresh food on the go....there was absolutely nothing fresh about it. I got a bacon, egg, & cheese croissant (for $12 or something thereabouts). It was a tiny, thin croissant, with the thinnest bacon ever, soggy eggs, and a slice of American cheese. The eggs soaked through the croissant in about 10 seconds. My lady got a bagel with cream cheese, which was nothing better than store-bought, but of course 10 times the price. And seriously, $4.50 for a small bottle of Tropicana OJ? Of course, they don't list the drink prices until you bring it to the front. If you're staying at the Sheraton and are looking for a quick, casual breakfast option, you're not going to find much. The buffet next door ($30) looked pretty bad as well. Venture out into the city for breakfast.

Overpriced snack shop...for the very very indulgent staying at the Sheraton Ingredients sits right behind the infinity pool at the Sheratan Waikiki. It has sandwiches for $15 and salads for about $10..and no the food isn't very gourmet. My co worker had coupons for this place, so I got free loco mocos ($19.99) anytime I went over. I have yet to spend any money at this place, nor do I plan to. I know this is Hawaii...but wow...

We have stayed at the Sheraton many times and never fail to have several meals/snacks at Ingredients, not to mention picking up a packaged snack for the plane trip home or a delicious gift item. When spending the day at the pool or the beach, it couldn't be more convenient. . You can't call the food gourmet but it is really good, fresh and always reliable. More important though are the employees....most have been there from the start and never fail to have a smile on their face and always ready with kind words. They ALL truly convey the spirit of aloha! Some days we just go there to get a drink and say hi. Truly, it doesn't get any better than this.

Most importantly, the view in front of Ingredients, especially for breakfast is amazing. You overlook the ocean if you eat outside and nothing beats that. BUT I attribute this view to the Sheraton Waikiki, not Ingredients. Because technically you can get food from anywhere and bring it to eat at the table overlooking the water. As far as Ingredients goes, the only thing I'd recommend getting from here (that I've had) are the fresh fruit and coffee. Everything else is overpriced and quality is unacceptable for what it should be. I had their breakfast eggs, hash browns, and muffin ($15) and it's literally microwaved costco frozen hash browns. The whole meal was very greasy and poor quality. Even the muffin was bad. In a pinch, some fruit from this place will hold you over but that's about all I'd recommend.

A waste of prime real estate poolside and beachfront at the Sheraton Waikiki. If you want quick and cheap, hit up ABC or Int'l Marketplace. If you have time and money, you got tons of options in Waikiki. "Ingredients" is a weird "tweener." Some things are okay (sandwiches, pizza), some things are bad (salad, breakfast) - EVERYTHING is overpriced but you are paying for real estate here.
