Anyplace Cocktail Lounge is one of the friendliest little pubs in town. Literally everyone in that place seems to know each other. It is a pretty typical local bar, with Karaoke, cheap beer and large portions. Everyone talks across the tables to other tables. The food is as good as you'll find at any other place; steak fries, yakisoba, SPAM, all the regular stuff. I hate that there is no parking and that you have to valet your car. I suppose that should be a good thing, if I'd consider that if i went to any other place on King Street I'd probably still have to struggle for parking and those other places don't offer valet service. OK I just talked myself into it. Valet Service is a plus. If you are an Oakland Raiders fan this is probably the place to watch a game there is a lot of the Black and Sliver adorning the walls. All in all, good food, friendly people, everything you want in a neighborhood pub.

Good spam and egg sandwich, better than making it at home. Also good dried ika and mayonnaise. I like how the waitress comes around often so I dont have to flag them down when we want something.

Very fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices on beer, they even carry non-alcohol beer. Pupus were good. Lots of TVs with different channels on. Cool name for a bar.

I'm in love with this place! Its a local favorite of mine. I recently met up with my family here for cocktails and pupus. The prices are affordable and the portions are generous. My personal favorites are the fried gizzards, vienna over cabbage and sugar soyu. The chopped salad, roasted pork, and the butter fish.

Very friendly staff and awesome prices. Where else are you gonna buy a beer for 2 bucks any time of the day, any day of the week? That was not a rhetorical question and I am not being sarcastic. Great place to just chill with friends and chat. Also a great place to get your buzz on after work and then drive home.
