If given the opportunity, I would totally spoon with the creator of the Marble Mocha Macchiato!! Talk about OMG!!! The staff at this location is the absolute bomb!! They ALWAYS remember my drink and know exactly what to recommend when I'm feelin like something a little different!! In fact, a barista from this very SBUX is the one who turned me on to the MMM!!! If you haven't tried it yet, you MUST! A lot of baristas don't know how to make it so, here you go; its just like a caramel macchiato, except, you sub the caramel for white mocha, put the foam and have them do a chocolate drizzle on the top...its even better if they put whip cream and then do the drizzle! And if you go to another SBUX, which you shouldn't do but hey whatever, don't let the baristas try to convince you that it's a Zebra or black and white mocha... those are totally different drinks!!

Whenever we go to Times or the Credit Union, I usually stop by this Starbucks (SB) location to check and see if they have my beloved oatcake. I've found that this location is hit-or-miss -- more often than not, I'm able to find my favorite treat, but sometimes I've gone too late in the day and they were all out! I like this location because it's usually not super packed--at least, during the times I've gone--and I've met some friends at this location before and we were easily able to find at seat at one of the larger outside tables. Here's what I would recommend: "Hawaiian Oatcake": I usually go to SB not for drinks, but for this unique treat. I often buy two and stock them up for breakfast! These unique oatcakes are rich in fiber and bran, and they're studded with cranberries. While others have complained that the oatcakes are too dry, I find them to be yummy. They are more bland in taste--something that can be easily solved with butter--and I just pick out as many of the cranberries as I can to enjoy my treat. Definitely a great on-the-go snack or a breakfast option. This is something I always make sure to get whenever I visit Hawaii, and I often buy an extra one to take back to Cali with me for the next morning's breakfast. "Chocolate Cake Pop": I tried this cake pop when they first came out ... and because I was preparing to make my own batch and wanted to see what the SB version tasted like. This bite-sized treat features chocolate cake mixed with chocolate butter cream, dipped in dark chocolate and topped with sugar sprinkles. This particular cake pop was my first choice because it was the only chocolate option available at the time. The cake was soft and moist, and I really liked the dark chocolate shell. The sugar sprinkles added extra sweetness and crunch and my cake pop was literally gone in two bites. This is a great treat for small kids and I was grateful to taste it--and knew what I should aim for when making my own batch of cake pops--but if I'm ever craving something sweet at SB, I would probably opt for a larger treat. "Hazelnut Macchiato": I would get this drink because of its hazelnut flavor ... and I like anything that reminds me of Nutella. It features freshly steamed milk with vanilla syrup, espresso and a hazelnut drizzle. I'm sure the vanilla-hazelnut combo is light and sweet, and I would get this drink with a soy substitute as well. "Iced Caffe Mocha": If I do get coffee or drinks with caffeine, I almost always prefer them iced instead of hot. This iced option features espresso combined with bittersweet mocha sauce and milk over ice. I almost got this drink, but I opted for the "Skinny Mocha" option instead to try to save on some calories. But I definitely wouldn't mind trying this cold, richer mocha drink sometime. My "Skinny" version was still sweet enough and contained just enough caffeine, so if I need a stronger dose/want a more distinct mocha flavor, I would go for this option instead. "Iced Caramel Macchiato": This "Caramel Macchiato" was one of my college friend's favorite drinks. I've heard it ordered many times while I was in line at SB, so I know it's pretty popular. It features espresso combined with vanilla-flavored syrup, milk and caramel sauce over ice. Though I like caramel better when paired with chocolate, I probably would end up ordering this popular drink during some future SB visit, just to try it. I know it's on the sweeter side, and I would opt for soy milk (and perhaps ask for a drizzle of chocolate). "Cinnamon Dolce Latte": I love all things cinnamon, and I'm sure this drink would be a winner based on its fragrance alone! It features espresso with steamed milk and cinnamon dolce flavored syrup, and it comes topped with sweetened whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping. I can just imagine that this drink is like a Cinnabon in liquid form. I definitely want to try this fragrant drink on a cold day ... when I'm craving the spices and sweet taste of cinnamon. "Iced Hazelnut Macchiato": If I want a hazelnut drink that's cold (as opposed to the hot version), this drink would be my go-to. It features espresso combined with vanilla-flavored syrup, milk and hazelnut sauce over ice. I love the smell and taste of Nutella, so I'm thinking that this iced drink would remind me of that since it features a distinct hazelnut flavor. "Mocha Frappuccino Blended Coffee": I've never expanded outside of the frapp category, but I do want to try one of SB's blended drinks one day. This one sounds like it's right up my alley, as it features coffee with rich mocha-flavored sauce blended with milk and ice. It actually sounds pretty similar to the "Java Chip" Frappuccino, but without the chocolate chips. I'm sure I'd like it if I ever tried it.

I go to this location every morning because I get my bosses coffee in the morning. All the workers are so sweet, they remember all the clients that come in on a regular bases. They remember my coffee order like the back of their hands as well as my name. And while I am waiting for the order to be done the barista is asking my weekend went or how I am doing? Going to places like this really helps my morning start off great and just what I need in the morning.

I've grown to love this location for two reasons: 1. They usually have my favorite drink, strawberry acai, when the other locations run out. 2. It's on the way home. The baristas are friendly, fast, and know how to make the drinks the way it should be.

I always go to this location because it's close by and the drinks are always on point. But today I was disappointed with the service. I'm not sure how employees get drinks or discounts but today an employee was in front on me in line, off the clock. She ordered and iced tea drink. During the whole transaction all the working team members were talking to her, which was cool. But after I ordered and paid, they continued to talk stories. It seemed to have slowed them down. While they were talking they told each other they needed to try this drink one of the workers has made. Each employee asked for a sample. I didn't care, until I realized that my drink was made AFTER they made drinks for the off the clock employee. She didn't even pay for it. Should they of made that AFTER the customers drink? Especially since my drink was paid for and her second drink obviously wasn't. I'm all for employees sharing drink secrets, talking stories etc. but please just remember that the customer should of came first. It's not like it was busy either. The off the clock employee could of gotten her extra drink after. The customer service given to me was defiantly top notch. Just the fact that my drink was delayed for a reason like that didn't make me as happy as I usually am leaving Starbucks. It took 10 mins to get my drink when I know they can whip it up much faster.

Starbucks is an almost everyday activity for me. I loved the staff here they are so friendly. And they also welcome you everyday and they come to remember your face. They even now what k would order. The wait for drinks here isn't that long. The baristas work really fast and they get the lines going. They never did mess up on my drink and they make it just the way j want it.

We arrived just before 3 PM to take advantage of Starbucks' Summer Frappuccino Special that has been going on since May 1. There were several others who were already waiting but as soon as 2:59 hit, they got off from their seats and became like the horses on the Kentucky Derby starting line. By the time my turn came, there a line formed behind me to the entrance...Frappuccino Zombies"! Anyway, because I was ordering 2 drinks off of the Secret Menu, I brought the recipes for Ferrero Rocher and Tiramisu Frappuccinos. Both of beverages contain multiple ingredients that have to be entered into the register for correct portioning and pricing. Barista Emily took my orders and then she and fellow Barista Tasi deftly "whipped out" both frappuccino beverages within a few minutes. Now, a crowd gathered and the line extended outside of the door. Luckily, there were additional baristas on duty so the line moved swiftly and the drinks "kept flowing". Great job and friendly, proficient customer service is in full-swing at this Starbucks!

Jon is THE best, and he knows Starbucks! My kids and their friends frequently visit him after school he helps them, watched out for them as they have their snacks, and drinks while I'm on my way to get them. He would make suggestions to help customers out sometimes, without fail. He knows Kailey and Kolby and their favorite Starbucks products. He needs to stay there forever! He keeps us regulars and brightens our days! Please, please, please recognize him. He is a great example of excellent customer service!

This is the first time that I received bad service from a Starbucks, though they had 4 people behind the counter. Yes we had a lot of people waiting in line as well as for their coffee. Some customers didn't know what they wanted and that took a long time too. This is the first time that it seems so disorganized behind the counter. Three people heating food, one person to make the drinks and no one at the cash register. I've been to many Starbucks on the island to know how that this is not normal.

Super fast and friendly service at this location. I'm so happy to have these holiday drinks back! The Salted Caramel Mocha is a must try during Christmas time! The staff here is really great and interactive. Everyone has a smile on their face :)

Meh, this Starbucks place. Meh in comparison to the others I have been. Limited seating indoors since this place is pretty small for a Starbucks. Seating includes chairs and tables in front which is kind of close to the cashier and customers who are waiting in line (I like my personal space). The chairs in the front area were kind of awkward (much like myself) and super uber dee duper high so it felt like having to hike a mountain in order to sit down (even though I'm considered tall, it was still an issue). Then, more awkwardness pursued when my knees were hitting the table ugh; resulting in me having to push out my chair further and hiking the thing once again. Once again, the drinks at Starbucks are usually reliable, and this location was, well, reliable and did good with my green tea latte. People working there were of course friendly (much to my delight). My only qualm with this location was that it's not spacious enough for people who have a thing for personal space and not getting into other people's invisible bubble. HA.

This is the worst Starbucks to order at currently. I don't know maybe the workers don't like me, what did I do to you? First of all, worst customer service ever! I'm talking about the big guy. Ignoring me and letting the other worker take my other. Wtf. This is what they do: Get my order wrong, adding thai to my iced coffee? Ew. I have a reusable cup but the deduction wasn't included. And it's a TALL not a GRANDE. GET IT RIGHT.

I come here often enough to notice everything a customer is able to see. I noticed all Starbucks locations restrooms are unisex (at least to my knowledge) and I love the fact this one is always clean. There is either 2 or 3 baristas working each shift. Although sometimes you can sense the tension between the baristas, it doesn't effect my visits here (since they are all so friendly & helpful towards their customers). I especially love their barista recommended / creation featured drink. They have a little eraser board next to the 2nd register on what that drink is and the ingredients to make up such an awesome creation. My favorite Starbucks drink has always been a Thai Latte, however I've been exploring and this eraser board is perfect when I want to try something new. The best one I've tried so far is their Banana split frappuccino. It's a vanilla bean frap with mocha, a banana (this rings up as an additional $1), whipped cream and crumble. It's so refreshing & yummy. They say you can customize any drink and you just need to know the ingredients to order it elsewhere. Even if getting out of this parking lot is a pain this is my favorite Starbucks to get my caffeine fix.

Dude at register was really nice, i ordered an iced thai latte. However the lady on the bar seemed to be really upset about something. She just looked at me like she was angry. I had requested whip cream on my latte but she didnt even put it on even though it was marked on the cup. I didnt feel like that was a good representation of good customer service. She sucked in that department and could use some corrections.

Five stars. Can't go wrong with good coffee from Starbucks. The baristas here are very friendly and helpful. It's a great way to start the weekend morning! If you're in need of a morning picker upper, you should come here. Highly recommended.

11.16.13. So, this is yet another place in the notorious Aiea Shopping Center...this Starbucks is on the lowest level with Times--can you say parking NIGHTMARE? Ya, you know what I'm talking about. But, the employees here displayed awesome customer service towards me today that I am a bit more inclined to visit this location a bit more often than the usual never. I called earlier this morning to inquire about a mug item that I was coveting, but it magically sold out online overnight?! So I called & they just so happened to have two in stock--perfect!! I asked if they could put them on hold for me--they will depending on when you want to pick them up--I was willing to pick them up that day since I needed to stop by the post office anyways... When I approached the register, the items I called for were right near the register under my name & I got the items I wanted!! YAY :) Thank you lovely Starbucks employees! This location seems to be pretty popular on the weekends; there was quite a long line when I first got here (~10:30 am). If you park in the stalls closest to Starbucks/Jamba Juice/L&L, make sure you follow the arrows on the pavement to exit. You'll end up going around the back side of this shopping center, along the canal & eventually you'll end up on the second level (where McDonald's is--this is how you'll exit the shopping center! It does beat having to deal with all of the people coming in/out of the Times area. Anyways, like I said, I was treated very well here & would def come back to reward them for the great customer service! Yelp 365 Challenge: #319/365

This is a chillax kine of Starbucks location. This is a pretty good place to have small kine meetings and talk story sessions with friends or whoevers. I usually like to do some solo studying here myself. This place is conveniently located at the Aiea Shopping Center, you cannot really miss it if you are on Moanalua Rd. There are table and seating areas inside and outside of the store. The staff and customer service is good. There was one time when I ordered a hot coffee drink and they had to brew it which took a couple minutes and they had no problem doing it again for a refill even though it was close to closing time. This Starbucks is also right near Jamba Juice and L&L Drive Inn so you can have different eating options as well. There is parking all around the shopping center area as well as right in front of the store. Everytime I come here it isn't too crowded or busy.

Best baristas as far as personality and customer service! Same drinks and food as any Starbucks. Come for the wifi and keep returning because the staff is attentive and friendly. I enjoy how they suggested the scone and said to "make myself at home." I will return for the personable staff. Thank you for renewing my faith in the aloha spirit.

i love starbuck any location, they all have same menu with a giant smile. but this star buck at aiea has really good space outdoor for your coffee. they have decent size parking for the aiea shopping center so whenever i had to go to starbucks i didn't have issue. i love starbucks tea and their coffee. whenever i get their coffee i get stright black with nothing inside. just dark and roasted does wonders when you need to stay up. aiea really isn't my location because i live in town but whenever i go to aiea i wouldn't mind getting one coffee from here.

I can't believe I'm actually reviewing a Starbucks. You see, I'm usually a big supporter of small shops of the "mom & pop local" variety. However, I will occasionally make the trip to Starbuck's because the bf loves it. We recently moved to the island and I've been in to this Starbuck's a few times. When I went in this morning, the girl remembered my name. Now, normally that wouldn't be odd. Often times when you frequent somewhere they begin to remember you. However, as mentioned, we're new here and this Starbuck's is ALWAYS busy. Always. So I was quite impressed that they have emlpoyee's who pay attention. Truthfully, the only downside is that it's always busy. And of course, there's the deep seeded part of my sould that really wants to boycott all corporate coffee shops, but I probably never will.

  • Zach M.

Nothing bad to say about this place. The staff is always offering quick, quality service with a smile. The baristas impressed me by making the effort to remember my name, my drink, and to see if I want to order my occasional bagel. Great job you guys!!!

First time at this Starbucks. Line (maybe 2 people in front of me) moved fast and efficiently. The 2 baristas working were friendly and engaged with regulars. My order (unsweetened iced coffee) was prepared in the order it was received and made correctly with light ice like I asked. The condiment bar was clean, stocked and trash empty. Overall the store was tidy, floors could be deck brushed in the cafe to remove grime that's left after being mopped several times a day weekly, there were a few light bulbs burnt out in the cafe and the windows with high top tables next to them need cleaned (drinks spilled down the glass). Overall good Starbucks experience.

This review is for the Aiea height drive location. This is another place sometimes hard to find parking. Thanks Tassi (new barista), as I was waiting for my drink. He was multi-tasking and asked "how are you today?' I replied "good and yourself?" He then told me what he was doing; while smiling and laughing. It was day after Labor day holiday, I was a little tired. Thank you for your cheerfulness, great job on my drink!!

I am so impressed with this Starbucks location! The drinks and food are always perfect, the customer service is great, and the place is always clean. I had been coming to this location for over a year and I have never had a bad experience. There are a lot of Starbucks on Oahu that I have had bad experiences at, but this location is not one of them. Let me start off by saying the drinks are consistent and delicious. I never got "burnt" coffee here. Every breakfast sandwich I ordered was also consistent, never cold in the middle, and never expired. And it also never took a long time to get my drink, even if there was a line out the door. The place was always clean, the staff does a great job to up keep the place. I have been to the Starbucks location (4561 Salt Lake Blvd) down by the stadium, Sack N Save, and K-mart numerous times and have seen cockroaches on the display cases, walls and floor. Never have I once seen a cockroach at this location though! The milk, sugar and other necessities have always been properly stocked. Bathroom is always clean as well. The most important thing I have to say is about the customer service here. It is absolutely on point. The employees here are friendly, nice, and personable and I feel like other Starbucks locations could learn a thing or two from these employees. Almost every employee here learned my name and how to spell it (it isn't easy!) and they remembered it! They would ask me how my day was and how work was going. They always have a smile on their face! I wish I could remember more of their names but the only one I can remember right now is Tasi. He is a great face for Starbucks! There is a few girls that I got to know as well and they were just as great (I feel horrible that I can't remember their names because they deserve credit too, I usually would come in the morning around 9-10)! I just moved off of Oahu last month and it will be very hard to replace this Starbucks location for me. Tasi said goodbye to me and gave me a hug before I moved and it made me realize how much I am going to miss that place. It almost made me cry. That is the kind of Starbucks everyone should get to experience and I am glad I got the chance to.

Love this place! My husband & I stop here on the way to work as early as we can get here. They always have prompt service and get the orders right every time. The Baristas are as friendly as they are proficient. Always happy with the seasonal coffee offerings so we get to sample of different coffees throughout the year

Located on Aiea Heights Drive is Starbucks. There is more than enough parking usually and tonight I didn't have an issue finding a stall. I was in and out of this location as I was heading in for my night shift and was craving a vanilla latte. We've been having a lot of rain lately and it's been freeeezzziinnggg (yessirrr I said freezing in Hawaii... I know I know don't give me crap!) :p and I was debating on if I should stop by or grab coffee in the cafeteria. It was already almost 7PM and I doubt the cafeteria coffee tasted good so that was the deciding factor in stopping by Starbucks... that and I had already passed Waipio Gentry so going through the drive-thru was no longer an option... woe is me... hehe :) Hours: Sun-Thurs: 5AM - 9PM. Fri and Sat: 5AM - 10PM. A decent sized Starbucks with your usual set up of sandwiches/pastries, bottled water/juices/coffee, and chairs/tables to chit chat or catch up on school work or just work. Also coffee and mugs available for sale. Staff was extremely friendly. Got my order in, waited a few minutes, got my drink, and was on my way. Literally I was in and out in less than 10 minutes which was great because I needed to get to work... definitely a fan for friendly and efficient service!

Just a quick review: Wonderful and efficient customer service at this location. The staff really does a great job of keeping the line moving at a steady pace by taking drink and food orders in advance and announcing your drink order with the barista, so by the time it's your turn at the cash register, your order has already been punched and totaled. The 3 employees that were working this morning really exemplified great teamwork and customer service. Like Jennifer C., I too was very impressed.

This is my favorite Starbucks on the wholeeee island. The staff would always greet you with a smile and ask how you are, even before I became a regular here. Then they take the time to know your name and your drink, and often times they would see me come in at the end of the line and my drink would be ready at the time of check out. I'm one of those people whose morning coffee dictates how the rest of the day goes, so I am glad Aiea Heights Starbucks has become a part of my life.

Baristas here are kind if mean. They close at 9:00 and you can just feel them anticipating to kick you out. And you can feel the frustration when you order a drink near closing.

Hi everyone I'm a Starbucks junkie. If there is a Starbucks around you will be sure to find me buying a drink there. I usually like getting all my drinks iced. Not much of a hot coffee fan. Service here is great, staff is really nice and polite.

Fast & friendly service, consitent blends! What else can you ask for? Free Wi-fi always, nice atmosphere. Not as crowded as some of the other Starbucks locations, it was a great place to study or find quiet time.

Not my favorite Starbucks location. It was busy and seemed cramped. They don't carry the petite scones that my friend likes because they don't sell at this store. What? The barista was nice (a bit to high strung though). Too hyper when I want to calm down. We got Madeleines with our coffee. Good choice. I don't see going to this location much as I'm rarely in this area. The parking is weird, only one way out and in a bad section straight through oncoming traffic at the light.

"Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same You wanna be where everybody knows Your name. You wanna go where people know, people are all the same, You wanna go where everybody knows your name. " - Cheers Theme Song In light of the above lyrics, this is one business where the morning crew welcomes you by name and asks if you want them to whip up your regular drink. I was honestly impressed when on my first visit there while standing in line, each person that came in after me was greeted in this manner. All three employees were smiling from ear to ear and must have drank a ton of coffee before starting because they worked super fast. I've since become a regular here and really appreciate the friendly staff.

Excellent service. They might not know your name but they do recognize your face & your type of drink which says it all. I go there there at least 4 or 5 times a week.
