Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

The pitaya products are interesting. I'm not sure why they didn't add it to the menu earlier. I like the fact I found another option to add to my preference list of favorites. I'm so particular in the smoothies since I only like certain fruit blends. The tropical dragon has guava, pitaya, pineapple & mango...simple & refreshing!!! I would recommend the pitaya bowl over the traditional acai bowl. One downfall, they should offer smaller sizes. I'm not the fruity type so only stop in when I'm in the mood. The sizes seem as if it can be a meal since it's so filling.

What happened to the energy and happiness at Jamba? Walked in, staff looked at me and made no sound. Looked back down at his dishes and continued to chat with coworker. When he decided to come to the register, he looked grumpy and tired. Smile! Is it really that hard to smile?

I love how they make my hawaiian acai bowl. I'll ask for extra, extra honey to put on top!!! Anything from here, I'll make it sweet. They are very friendly. Wesley is the best. Fast service and is never crowded.... I think it may be a good thing or a bad thing? Lol try the white gummy bears!! It's awesome.

I will not go to this Jamba Juice location again. I walked up to the cashier with my grandma and my $10.00 gift card. I was going to get a small white gummy as well as a kale Apple small smoothie for my grandma. I asked the cashier how much both of the smoothie was and it came out about more than $10.00. I asked how much was the small mango smoothie and I think it was the same price. THEN SHE WAS TALKING VERY SASSY TO ME, LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. THE PRICE IS VERY PRICEY ITS MORE THAN $5.00 FOR ONE SMOOTHIE. LIKE I SAID AGAIN I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THIS LOCATION AGAIN!

It's crazy, I been going to this Jamba Juice for a long time, simply because it's close to home but also that they were pretty quick. But, tonight really ruined it for me. I was drinking my PB chocolate love and at the end, there was a piece of plastic that came out. It was definitely not something edible and it was clearly a broken piece of plastic. I didn't give a one star review because it tasted good haha! But nonetheless, finding unsanitary objects in your drink is unacceptable. Imagine all the other things found your drinks. Its hard to say if there is something I your drink, for all we know, majority, if not all drinks are blended. Just be careful for the next time you pay them a visit.

Very dirty location. Dirt and trash all over the floors. It really made me wonder how dirty the area was where my food was being prepared. Food was decent, but overpriced as usual.

I was pretty pissed off at my experience here yesterday. I walk into Jamba Juice because I was craving for the banana taro bread. There was no one behind the counter to help. There was a customer sitting down playing on his ipad. I waited a few minutes and no one proceeds to help me. What kind of crappy service is this? Good location because its right next to Starbucks and there is a lot of parking. NO ONE to help anyone that comes in!!! BOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the BEST Jamba Juice I've been too. But it's okay. Never busy so that's good. In that small shopping center near Buzz's Steak House down the hill or across of Time's Super Market/The Cattle Company Steak House. I really can't remember what shopping center it's called or else I would include it in the review. WHOOOPS! Sorrrry ;( Small establishment next to Starbucks and The Bread Harvest Co/they changed it to some other desert place. DAMN, I can't think of names right now! LOL The staff hardly say Hi to you when you walk inside. Idk who the manager is over there but they need to get on it! Being a former employee at Jamba Juice it's like a standard so that should ALWAYS be a must* i love jambaaa though, great location for college kids/high school kids/elementary kids to come after school to get some smoothies!:)

super slow. busy shop, but only one person on the register, and even though there are TWO people "making" the smoothies, only one is really working. they move slow. how long does it really take to dump ingredients into a blender, hit blend, and then drop it back into a cup? horrible.

I'm very sad... Jamba Juice seems to have gone downhill, primarily in the customer service department. I ordered the berry acai bowl, no almonds substitute granola. What came to me was their other acai bowl that included shredded coconut, which I can't stand. I politely said that I think I got the wrong order and the guy seemed clueless. The girl who remade it, upgraded the size, but forgot the granola. Fail. The acai on the bottom was worse than shave ice consitency - maybe more like "ice shave" you would get on the mainland. It was an icy, crunchy mess! Needless to say, I didn't eat the whole thing and into the trash it went. What a waste! +1 extra star for the girl who attepted to make it right by upgrading the size

I was there on 1/11/13, their last day promotion for bogo. They had a long line. It took me 40 minutes to order, get my drinks and exit. The workers were nice but they couldn't handle the rush. They seemed confused and kept messing up the drinks. Maybe next door Starbucks' poor service is rubbing off?

This location is very convenient for me because it is right down the street from my place. Whenever I have time to spare before work I beg my boyfriend to take me here to get some breakfast. I usually get here around 645am and it usually is never crowded unlike their next door neighbor. And the workers are always so friendly and greets you with a "Good Morning" Now thats a great way to start the day! My usual order for breakfast would be the banana oatmeal with extra brown sugar and a orange bang shake. I love how they prepare their oatmeal because its so soft and oaty... you can really taste the oats unlike the generic oatmeal in a bag mix. And it goes great with the brown sugar and the bananas. They also have different flavors I believe you can order it with blueberries and just plain brown sugar if your not into the fruits. They are pretty fast with getting my order done and if there not then they have enough chairs for you to wait. I like this Jamba juice because its not overly crowded and it has a cozy feeling to it if you decide to finish your treats in there.

My hometown Jamba Juice location and one of my favorite locations! Service is often quick and courteous with good product consistency. Being close to Safeway, SWAM, and the Patisserie doesn't hurt either... :)

I like the fact that this location is conveniently located near my home. Stopped in since I received a gift card and had a craving for Orange Dream. Walked in and there were only 3 people ahead of me that had ordered. I wasn't prepared for the long wait. There were only 3 staff members on duty and within my 15 minute wait they became extremely busy. It didn't help that customers were ordering 2-5 drinks and acai bowls. I didn't care too much for the Very Berry, I think I will stick to the Orange Dream but they offer other interesting things on the menu that I think I will give a try.

Usually come here before I start work and always order a chunky strawberry bowl. Not satisfied with the previous visits because it wasn't Chunky at all. I think they blended it too much as if it was a drink. SO by the time I got to work it was pretty much like "Juice". And I only work right across the street. LOL but this time around I kindly asked them I wanted it more on the thick side. The girl being all sarcastic with a smirk on her face yelled "Chunky strawberry bowl extra chunky". No Women, I want a chunky strawberry bowl HOW IT should be. So the boy stepped in and said he'll make it. And so I give it a four star instead of 2 because its not the same employees that I saw the previous times I went and because he made it exactly how it should be. Kudos!

This location is pretty conveniently located in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza. Of course, it is right next to Starbucks and right across of Subway and City Mill. It is also right next to the Great Harvest Bread Company. I like to go here mostly for when I am on the go when I am heading down to the West side. The shop is one of the more smaller ones. I don't think there's much of a sitting or dining area so most of the time it just presents itself as a on the go and take out to go Jamba. If anything, if you do want to sit and enjoy your Jamba then you'll have to go outside and maybe find a seat next to Starbucks or the Bread store. The staff and customer service is good. I only come often during the morning and it's not so busy or anything. I learned that there are weekly specials for certain things from this store via one of their signs inside. Other than that, just the typical Jamba goodness.

It's amazing how one bad experience can ruin one's entire perspective about an establishment. One evening, I ordered 3 Strawberries Wild (my usual) jamba for my family and I. Worst. Smoothies. Ever. I don't even know if you could call that a "smoothie." What we received was a disgrace to all smoothies out there. All 3 of our smoothies were extremely watered-down, no taste. I was chewing on decent sized ice cubes with every sip. EVERY. SINGLE. SIP. I didn't even want to finish mine because it was so bad. I decided to call the store and once explaining my horrible "smoothies" to them, the girl replied with a very insincere "oh, sorry about that." No sincerity, no attempt to fix the issue. In addition, there were 2 girls working there, I was the only customer, it wasn't even close to closing time. There is no excuse for a lousy jamba x 3. Waste of my time & money. Never again will I give this establishment any business. Although I live right up the street from this location, I am willing to drive the 10 minutes to the Kaonohi location after this horrible experience.

Lisa was very cheerful, informative, & awesome! Thank you for answering all my questions on the new fruit and veggie drinks. Karen handed over my drinks with a smile. Friendly and great customer service! I tried the Berry UpBEET and Apple n' Greens smoothies. Both yummy and healthy. A better alternative drinks compared to the other ones they have. I will be back to try the Orange Carrot Karma. Cheers!

This jamba was not crowded at all. The cashier was very friendly and he made our order pretty fast. My Hawaiian acai bowl tasted a little different than what I'm used to. Does the taste vary from jamba to jamba?

For some reason, this location is not that friendly? Even the manager doesn't look happy. Too bad, I might have to stay away from this store. Unless, the attitude changes here. This is the third store I've come to for some carrot juice and all three places, the carrot machine is not working? What's with that?!
