Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

I'm here right now eating with my dad. It's Saturday June 6 , 2015 @ 5:45 pm. We ordered our food and she took our order quick and all correct. I assume she was the manager since she was dressed differently from the rest. We waited a few minutes and got our food. She presented it nicely to us and even gave me cup holders since I had a handful without me asking. No problems with her. I was checking my bag that everything's there and notice didn't get any ranch sauce for my chicken fries... I can't eat it plain, yuck! The next available employee who was standing there I asked her nicely for ranch sauce and she looks at me without even a smile and goes "hah what?!". I'm sure I wasn't stuttering or speaking softly. I had to repeat myself again. She then got me one ranch sauce and threw it in my bag and rolled her eyes. I wasn't the only one who saw that. My dad saw and the customers sitting nearby saw. She walked to the back after like she hates her job. 3 stars for service from manager and quick hot made to order foods. Also convenient since its in the mall. Minus 2 because of the girl for throwing ranch sauce in my bag and rolling eyes at me for no reason.

Terrible service. I'm the only one here and they still got my order wrong. Also, I don't like the idea that they advertise their new "Satisfries" as having less fat and calories. If you read the fine print you see that they are less fat than McDonalds fries. Um...hello? I'm at Burger King, not McDonalds. Also, when I asked the girl at the counter if the fries were baked or fried she said she didn't know. So I said: "you don't know? Can you ask your manager?" Then she replied: "I am the manager". Wait, what?!! I finally was able to play detective enough to have my question answered. ..They ARE fried in the same oil as the straight fries. Okay, I'm definitely not coming here again.

I remember going to this Burger King a lot during my childhood days always going to the mall and stuff. I dunno for some reason I would just go to Burger King and stuff. I remember way back in the day when the store would be further extended further into the store with additional backside table and seating areas more than what it is today. Anyways, one of my favorite menu items to get is the chicken sandwich which is a classic. They have other kine menu items now like difference kind of french fries and other burgers. The whopper and whopper jr. continue to be legends while they have other stuff too. Going back to the business, it's pretty good I would say. It doesn't really get too crowded or anything. Burger King is good to have once in a while. The staff and customer service is ok. They have your own self service drinks just like all Burger Kings so that much free refills and stuff so that is always a plus. It's conveniently located in the downtown side of Pearlridge Shopping Center right across from HIC, Hot Topic, etc.

This Burger King got a recent make-over and I love it! The interior menus/wall photos look fantastic! I walked in to buy the BF some dinner and started drooling over the delicious-looking dessert spread they had posted on the left-hand wall. There was sundae upon sundae (Oreo, Oreo Brownie, and M&Ms variations) arranged in an enticing manner along with various pie slices and hand spun shakes! Burger King has obviously started turning into DESSERT QUEEN! You probably think that I ended up ordering 3 slices of Hershey's sundae pie, 2 caramel sundaes, and a chocolate shake...I, however, resisted the temptation and ordered only for the BF. Yes, I was a good girl. The photos of course were not the only thing that influenced me to review this Burger King; I also noticed that they had installed a new modernized menu which looked to me like the future of fast food restaurants. I'm sure you'll see the other Burger Kings, along with Micky D's, Taco Bell, etc. start installing these sleek looking screen-like menus. The menu actually shifted and changed while I was looking at it! Neat-O! (that's right, I turn into a nerd around new, shiny things!) Oh yeah, and the service was fine. Your basic fast food experience: order, stand and wait, notice the creeper who ordered next is now creeping on you, then grab your food and get the heck outta there...you know, the whole shebang. Perhaps this Burger King has changed a lot since the other Yelpers reviewed it, cause I felt like this place deserved 5 stars for cleanliness, quick service, correct order, attractive photos, and moving on up in the technological world! Poor, poor service!! End of story!! Went here tonight w/the fiancee to try their new Chef Choice burgers. The food itself was not bad, but probably won't buy again. So not worth the premium price you pay, but I should have known better! Anyway, when we approached the counter to order, the worker walked away! She game back a few minutes later and took our order but seemed a little unsure of herself. What happened next, however, was unforgivable. While we waited for our food, the workers in the back prepping the food kept stopping to talk story with all their friends that walked into the store. They literally spent more time talking story than actually working. We eventually ended up waiting around 10 minutes for our food and got a half-hearted sorry that they took so long. If I had to choose a fast-food chain, I prefer Burger King over McDonalds for the burgers themselves. However, I would avoid this location as much as possible due to the poor service. It doesn't help that the location is poorly kept as well. The icee machine doesn't even have it's signage anymore!

I have to say this is one of the few times I've been disappointed ordering food from a fast food place. I asked for a meal combo with onion rings and instead I get french fries. I tell the person who looks like she is the supervisor that they screwed up my order, and not even so much as an apology since I had to wait an extra 3 minutes. This place should be lucky I gave them 2 stars because I was originally gonna give them only 1. Poor customer service.

Two times within the time span of a month they forgot an item in my order and still charged me for it. The manager was very nonchalant about it all and didn't seem sincere or like she cared at all.

Visit: 6/4/09 - Lunch. Had Whopper meal. The fries suck here. Coke was flat. Whopper was okay. But I ordered it without pickles and they gave it to me anyways. What idiots. Service was slow. Most the counter help was messing around. Price was expensive. I paid $7 for my meal which cost less at other fast food restaurants. I won't come back.

This BK needs an overhaul. The lines are very slow moving and it takes forever to get your food. When you order your food, the cashier tells you a number to memorize but doesn't give you your order receipt with your order number. The food takes so long here that you forget your order number when they call it out. The workers here look very unhappy. Management is very unprofessional. There was an older lady manager who was berating one of the newer employees in front of everyone in the store. I felt so bad for him. Then she proceeded to talk crap about him to another worker while he was still standing there. The morale must be horrible. Tables need to be cleaned more often. It's a little busy here and the empty tables are often dirty with no one cleaning them. The soda machines are often without carbonation leaving the soda flat. This is a busy location and deserves better. The food quality is hit or miss. I really loved the green tomato in my whopper Jr today (not). Warning : Do Not order the pulled pork sandwich, it looked like brown tuna melt. My bf usually eats anything but was unable to finish his sandwich. They put pickles in it too, that was kind of nasty. If you come here, just stick to the usual menu items and you may be safe. The fries are always fresh and crispy, but not the onion rings.
