Would give 1/2 star if I could. Sushi was overpriced and soggy. Tempura shrimp (soggy). Shumai (not crisp) Lady at the register is taking your order, wiping and fixing things behind the counter and making your sushi.

Honestly the worst sushi I've ever had. Not fresh at all. I don't know how you can mess up sushi this bad, but somehow they do!

I eat there because I work close to it. They're very nice ladies but for previously frozen fish you'd think it'd be cheaper... But no. I love sushi so I don't really care for the freshness but my wallet cries Everytime I buy from here. Overall I love the food and people but the quality of the food is not worth the price.

Been waiting 20 min for 2 California rolls. Not very complex unless you are getting the fish from the ocean and going to Mexico to get the avocado. Not giving this place my business anymore. Turns out they forgot to make it period, so getting my money back and leaving. No wonder they never have customers.

I've eaten here before and it was ok but today was one of the worst sushi I ever had. Maybe it was the type of sushi I ordered? I got the "Island Maki" which is a shrimp tempura roll with spicy ahi on top. I also got shumai. What is up with the shrimp tempura? It was chewy and not crispy at all... Almost like they prepped it at 8 in the morning and left it to sit and get old. Super disappointing. I could've spent my $12 at Ninja Sushi (Never disappointing!) down the road :( Shumai was almost like the frozen kind you get at the store, except it was worse LOL. It was cold, soggy, sponge-like texture AND it was on a bed of fresh spinach which I find awkward because they don't even taste good together. Bottom line? IT WAS GROSS. Maybe everyone should just stick to the Poke Bowls and their inexpensive rolls (minus the shrimp Tempura! Unless you like chewy bready tempura :)

On Halloween day, they passed out religious book marker to trick or treaters. No Halloween spirit. So sad.

I should have walked out the door when I read the disclaimer near the register that basically said "WHAT YOU SEE ISN'T WHAT YOU GET". I purchase 3 tuna rolls and 2 crab rolls and I gotta tell you that was the worst sushi I've ever had. I honestly didn't think you could screw up something as simple as a tuna and crab roll but these guys managed to do it. The nori was not fresh and it was just nasty. The picture of the crab roll had crab and cucumber but the one they made for us only had crab. The worst sushi I ever had. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!

The slowest service I've ever experienced. They got the order wrong. Didn't care, terrible customer service. Way over priced and not that good. I don't recommend coming here.

I've always walked by here and never gave chancing it even a thought until my friend who frequents it told me to go ahead and try it.... in fact she bought me a few rolls just to have me try it... and hey! Its pretty good! I have to say, that it does seem expensive at first and why have your sushi rolled for you fresh when you can get it already made on a belt that circles around a room...? Duh, cause it tastes better when its rolled and not rushed! Although the bowls don't always follow the pictures to the "T", you know what you can expect for the most part. I think the miso soup should have more of a punch to it because it sometimes tastes too boiled out, but I do like it still. Its a nice little compliment to the sushi bowl. My favorite rolls are the expensive ones... but I do have to say that the kalbi roll is pretty cheap, and I like that one as well. There's other things I'd like to try here when I get around to it. So several revisits are in order.

Slow service for not even decent sushi. Only went here because kids wanted to eat sushi.

Man, this has to be the worst fast-food sushi place ever. I had a nigiri set and the ahi was almost brown, the rice was crumbly, and the tako was soggy. The lady who mans the counter is a total mixed bag of menopausal and unsanitary (when I was ordering, she got out her napkin to slowly wipe the grime off her lips.) Bleh.

First of all, I'm not a hater. This is the first one-star rating I've ever given. I've eaten here before and it was fine, but today was just absolutely terrible! Service was normal, but i ordered the BLT and shrimp tempura, and it was the worst sushi I've ever eaten in my life. The nori was soggy. The bacon wasn't crisp at all. The tempura was soft with no crunch at all. How can I be chewing on my shrimp tempura quietly? It was really, really bad. Almost like they microwaved my shrimp and bacon in the back and shoved it in some week-old seaweed. No, and I'm not some sushi snob. I eat at Genki most of the time. But this...wow...I think I may have made my own sushi at a party one time and it was better than this. My wife commented on how the owners are now Korean, so maybe that had something to do with it. Not being racist. Just saying. Aloha Sushi? Aloha means goodbye...

Sushi is good, great selection & it's cheap. The ladies there are kid friendly. They took my daughter behind the counter and showed her how they made the sushi. As for no place to sit, are you kidding me? There are benches all over the mall & you can sit in the food court.

I come here very seldom and once in a while if I am craving sushi or something or a quick on the go kine fast food. Sometimes I would rather go to Kozo Sushi down in the downtown side Phase 2 side or Pearlridge. I feel that the sushi here with their taste and quality is a bit lack luster. I ordered a few rolls and bentos down here and they were just ok. It didn't really taste fresh to me. There was this one recent time when I ordered a California maki set and the ladies just gave me a pre set one that was sitting there the whole morning. The staff and customer service is just ok. It seems that they are just doing their daily routine and just riding the coast of life without giving a you know what if you know what I mean. To top it all off they only take your card if you are going to spend more than 5 bucks. Aloha Sushi with no aloha now that is really ironic. They are conveniently located on the ground level of Pearlridge shopping center right across from Hatsby and TJ Maxx and all those kiosk small businesses around the middle of the walkways. 31 Yelps Review Challenge - October 2012, #13/31

Its ok. I only came here twice with my friend and that's just because we were uptown and wanted a quick sushi snack. I only get the spam roll because I don't trust their other sushi. The lady that takes the orders is really bleh and kinda needs a attitude check. No friendliness whatsoever.

Great service from the very nice lady that works there. She always remembers my girlfriend and always says hi when we go there, even though my girlfriend doesn't work in the mall anymore. She even gives extras sometimes. Try the spicy ahi bowl! Sauce is bomb!

$2.50 for a salmon hand roll that was only about 3 inches long.... What a rip off! And they charge extra for wasabi & ginger. I've never been sad with sushi before this... I use to like this place because the workers are so friendly but now I don't think I'll go back. :(

Their island maki is sooo good :) shrimp tempura maki with spicy ahi and tempura crisps ontop. Comes with their potato salad and extra spicy sauce. All for a decent price and they give more than most places.

I had never bought anything from Aloha Sushi. My preference has always been Kozo Sushi. On Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, after a long day at work in Pearlridge, I stopped by this business at 5:10 pm. I ordered 2 salmon rolls, 2 natto rolls & a bottle of green tea. When I place my order for the natto rolls, the cashier made a face. When I arrived home, I discovered that I was given 2 spam rolls and to my dismay, the rolls were sloppy. The nori was not fresh or crispy tasting. No comparison to Kozo sushi whose items are always professionally prepared & the nori fresh & crispy. Also, the food was placed in the take out bag sloppy. I will never order from Aloha Sushi again.
