This was my first trip to a J Buffalo Wings. Mostly because I don't like wings and would never eat at a place that specializes in them. But a coworker convinced me that they do more than wings and we were pressed for time so we went. They do serve more than wings. They have cheese steaks, chicken fingers, turkey burgers, etc., in addition to wings. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the buffalo chicken cheese steak with fried rice. Yes, fried rice. The chicken sandwich was decent. It was a hot piece of formed white chicken on a bun with lettuce, tomato and onion. I do believe that their chicken off the bone is only meant to be consumed after being chopped. It was way too fatty to be a *real* chicken breast. Her cheese steak looked good and she enjoyed it. Like I said, I don't like wings and/or buffalo sauce so it is just not to my taste. Do NOT get your drink before you get your food because there is a huge sign on the drink fountain *One Refill Only*. And I was told, they WILL nut up if you try to get more than one refill. In short, it was a chicken sandwich meal I could have gotten at any fast food restaurant. I could probably have ventured across the street to KFC or Chick Fil A and gotten a better quality *chicken breast* at a cheaper price. But I guess this is considered fast food. So you get what you get. Just don't get so thirsty you need more than one soda refill...

Wings were okay, nothing outstanding. Ordered 15 to go, got home and we had been shorted two wings. Polite , but doubt we will stop again.

So and I were regulars awhile ago, but has since stopped coming. Their wings have gotten smaller and drier and I don't like my fried rice with bean sprouts (I know, just being picky). the last time we were there, SO asked in Korean to the Korean ladies if they could make my wings wet, you know, extra sauce right? They said of course, disappeared in the back and told the cooks. Well, we took the wings home and they were extremely dry, small and no flavor at all. Mine didn't hardly have any sauce either! I don't even like spicy and I could have eaten all of SO's wings and he ordered them hot!! Sorry JJ, but you have other better locals so I guess this is a breakup for us. Don't worry, it wasn't me, it was just you.

I don't know what made me go here when I got the hankering for wings instead of the 2 delicious wing places on Chamblee-Tucker Rd (just being lazy I guess) but I regretted it almost immediately. The overpriced menu should have been a sign, but no, I ordered the 10 wing combo with french fries. The fries were soggy with not a grain of salt (though you get more than enough) and the lemon pepper wings tasted like they were dipped in lemon lysol. I mean OVER THE TOP. So lemony as to be disgusting. There was lemon pepper seasoning caked to the bottom of the tray. A few of the wings had OBVIOUSLY been fried several times and to within an inch of still being considered a wing-I mean dry, hard and cracked. DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING

The other reviewer must have come on a bad day. My wife and I eat here several times a week. While their fries are pretty standard, they certainly are never bad. You do have to add your own salt. But I think that is a good thing, as you can do it to your own personal taste. You also have the choice of getting Fried Rice instead of fries. This is a good option if you are really hungry. They tend to go overboard with the proportions. The wings are always amazing. Never dry, like the previous poster suggested. You also have several levels of heat and flavors to choose from. One of my favortie parts about this place is the meal options. When at other places I'm always forced to choose between wings and sandwiches. Not here! They have several meals that include wings plus another entree for only a few dollars more. Sure I could order the two meals at other places, but then I would have way too many fries and I would be paying twice the price. My favorites are the WIngs and Philly Combo and the Wings and Gyro combo. This place is a great addition to the strip mall it is in. And unlike the previous poster, I find their prices to be pretty standard for the type of food they serve.

I like J Buffalo, I stop in sometimes when i have a taste for a philly and fries. This is my go to spot for wings when my friends are coming over to hang out. I always get a Family Pack that comes with 50 piece wing and a large fried rice which I love and it comes with a 2 liter soda all for $30. I can't beat that with a baseball bat!!!

Love their wings. My favorite wing spot. The fried rice is great too.

Time of actual review 9/2/12 Saturday 10:26pm . 1st visit. Take out. (Testing out a template of how I'm going to list my future reviews, so bare with my transition fellow Yelpers.) We pulled up in the parking area right directly in front of the restaraunt "late" Saturday night, just as I put the car into park an elderly Korean man came out to re-arrange the chair and table setup outside. I politely asked him if they were still open, even though the Open sign was lit, but it seem he was getting ready to break down the restaurant for cleaning. From what I best can decipher was, "Yes, go inside" and he pointed inside the door. Service: Right as we came in, the younger of the two older ladies running the front register were saying they were going to close within 2-3 minutes but we could still order. My friend wanted wings, so we ordered a 25 piece. We decided to split the flavors, but could only settle on lemon Pepper. The older of the two ladies, "decided" Teriyaki for our other flavor. (I'm guessing they had cleaned up and shelved the other flavors?). I let the foodie in me decide to get the tilapia 2 piece fish dinner. Before the younger lady finished asking what side I wanted, again... the older lady "decided" I should get fries. On the take out menu it does just says fries, so maybe I could have had almost gotten fried rice instead? They quickly had the order ready in like 5 mins. So I was hoping they didn't just give us left over food from some past orders, even though they did let us inspect us before closing the to-go boxes and bagging it. They also insisted, "please call in before we close next time" in a motherly way, yet with a big smile. Food: As we got home, I first opened the tilapia and fries. I guess we were too hungry to take a pic, so I owe you Yelpers that on the next visit. But it was actually very good. Easy on the breading country style, very moist through out and two actual big portions. Granted, now that I look at the menu I didn't get the bread that was supposed to be included. Instead were a couple of extra Naturally Fresh tartar sauce cups. On the menu it says that it's .50 cents additional so I guess they were nice to include more than one for me. The fries were fresh and not left overs, which I was surprised. Just like other reviews, they do not salt the fries. Which is a good thing since I like to use my own sea salt anyway and season to my liking. It would be a bad thing if you plan on bringing this back to the office, with no salt shakers or condiments available. The wings on a visual inspection seem pretty good. Decent size, juicy and came wet. As for taste; the lemon pepper wings were ok. Decently season, but missing something. Not as good as the great wings places I have before, but decent. Other lemon pepper wing fanatics could be disappointed. The teriyaki wings were covered in a think glaze, enough to need a couple of napkins if you're not trying to be messy. A hint of sweetness, but not over powering. Verdict: Ok overall. For next visits: I will try to visit again to see if their fish stays consistent on the quality, which I hope since this place is literally a block away. And when I'm craving something for seafood but too lazy to drive far away, this could fit the bill. I'm not too keen on trying the gyro since I've been spoiled by late night dinners at Cafe Agora. The philly cheese steak, fried shrimp, and possibly the fried rice is what I'll be aiming for next time. Until then fellow Yelpers, ciao for now.

First time here, I ordered the J special, the food took awhile to come out. I'm assuming because they cooked the food as you order it. *no wings sitting in a warmer here* So I was ok with the amount of time it took. The staff/owners were not warm or inviting, very nonchalant and didn't seem like they really wanted to be there. But the food was good and they had a 97 on there inspection so I was satisfied

I stop by once or twice a week for wings and fried rice. They have a lot of different favors of wings, so it's hard to get tired of going there. It's delicious and can't been the large portions!

Went in for wings. It was my first time in and I normally do wings at home so I was expecting some nice wings that would compare to what I make at home. Waited while they cooked, about 12 minutes. It was busy. However, they must use chickens who run on treadmills because by the time I got them home, put them in the oven on warm while I showered, they pretty much had no meat on them. I won't go back. I'd rather do them at home.

Always fresh and hot meals here. Ladies are so pleasant. I usually get the gyro but the menu is diverse with plenty of great options.
