Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Best "Comfort Food" in Venice. Eggs Benedict with real country ham - too big to eat in one sitting. Burgers are large, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Not "gourmet" but down home good! I will be back many times. Breakfast, lunch, & diner.

Went to breakfast there from reviews on Yelp. I was very disappointed with the food. Eggs were cool and the toast was too. The potatoes were the worst I've ever had, wouldn't have eaten them had I not been so hungry. The waitress was the only reason I gave it two stars. Something must have changed judging from the awards I saw posted. Will not return.

Went there yesterday for breakfast there was an empty table by the window it still had a couple dishes on it from the previous customers. The waitress came over no smile or good morning just you could have taken a clean table. Never smiled once, the table next to us said she had an attitude also. Never got the water I asked for or a spoon for my coffee. The poached eggs were a runny mess, coffee bland and we never saw toast that small before. Ive had better pancakes. Will not return.

Update! Yay!!! it seems that someone at the Burgundy Square Cafe got the message. We went there for Mother's Day, and I was looking forward to some great food but ready to tolerate the bad service. But to my surprise, the service was GREAT. We were greeted at the door by a smiling hostess who whisked us right to a nice table by the window. The waitress was prompt, smiling and friendly. The coffee cups were kept full, and the waitress returned to the table often to check on us. At no time did we feel ignored or forgotten. The wait staff is the same that's always been there, so they didn't hire new people. But things have improved in a big way. The food was fabulous as usual. I had the Seafood Eggs Benedict, which has lobster, scallops and crab on it. Fantastic. My daughter had a Florentine Omelet, and said it was wonderful. My husband had the pork chops and eggs, and the chops were so big he had one to bring home. He said the seasoning was just right and the chops were cooked but not dry. I'm so glad that things have improved at Burgundy Square Cafe...I really wanted this to be my favorite breakfast place, and if this service is any indication, it will be my favorite from now on.

Had a solo breakfast here on Sunday. Admittedly they were slammed as it was probably the busiest weekend of the year, in season and there was a car show in town , so the service wasn't too polite in spots. Anyway, the good news is, the food is quite good! Plentiful too! I had "traditional eggs Benedict" which the serve with a thick slice of what I think was country ham. Yummy, and the hollandaise was pretty good too. Good coffee. I would like to try lunch. I will go back again. Here's what I would suggest..when a single woman walks into a restaurant, let's try not to make her more uncomfortable than she may already be!! How about not saying, server to server, "hey Susie (not real name) can you take this woman over there at the bar (then laugh)?! Also, one of the staff decided to have a private little picnic on seasonal strawberries and a few other goodies right behind the bar in front of me while I ate. Laying out a little buffet. So Venice is quirky (which I love) and so is the service at this place. My actual server couldn't have been more lovely. The overall staff needs to be reminded how to treat solo diners. Peace.

Cute place with plenty of seating inside and outside. The waitresses were very friendly and served us with a smile. The food came out quickly, the portion sizes were decent, and the prices were good. Overall, a pleasant place for a casual meal.

Went to Burgundy Square on St Patrick's Day for corn beef and cabbage. It was not good, actually tasteless. Potatoes were mush, meat tough and waitress was crabby. I doubt very much if any spices were added while cooking the food, steer clear. Not worth one star.

Apparently this place is fairly new as it wasn't on Yelp. We were in the area and stopped in for breakfast. I am glad we did. It wasn't too big of a place but very nice. The service was friendly and the place was light and airy and clean. The food was delicious and way too much to finish. I had their eggs benedict and it was perfect though I could barely finish half. Thick slice of ham and wonderful sauce. Their homefries were great. They do use onions and lots of them. My friend had eggs and bacon and sausage and even he couldn't finish. He said he would just order the sausage next time with one egg as it was awesome. Very reasonably priced. I asked to see their lunch and dinner menu and was pleased to see that it was also reasonable. We are moving to the area and I can't wait to return for lunch and dinner. They serve beer and wine only. Based on my experience today - I gave it a 5!

Excellent spot for lunch! We sat outside on a gorgeous day....the breeze was lovely. I had coffee which was very good, and likely the best wrap I've ever eaten. I normally shy away from wraps, but the Asian Shrimp Wrap caught my eye. It had small lightly blackened shrimp, coleslaw mix, cabbage, Chinese crunchy noodles, shredded carrot, and a yummy sweet Asian dressing. It was fantastic! I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

I have been coming here for years now and have never had a bad meal. However, the wait staff is another story. It has gone down hill since i have started coming here. The last time was it for me. The waitress, who seemed moody, did fine until she brought us our food. After that, she just vanished. No one came to check on us about anything. The other waitresses checked on the other three tables a few times, but not us. After awhile all the staff gathered and and started talking about things behind the counter, ignoring customers. I think the guy is an owner or head manager, he's always in there, will check on the people, but of course only the ones he knows, not us though. We probably sat there, dishes stacked, money in our hand, chairs pushed back from the table for about ten minutes before my mother got up and asked for the bill. They acted oblivious. Besides very poor service they are so slow at getting your food to you. I don't care if the food at restaurants is good, but if the service is bad, I'm not coming back. They were more interested in the award ceremony for the tennis match that was on than their paying customers. Probably won't come back.

Blackened burger is amazing!! I had a class in this town for a week, I returned 3 times. Make sure to have it on the pretzel roll and cooked rare if you like that. The jalapeño and spices compliment this burger very nicely. Glad I found this place !

Maybe this place is better for breakfast or lunch, but for dinner it is a far cry from good. We tried it with another couple and all were very disappointed. Prices are very reasonable and they will let you bring your own wine but they cannot open it for you. Really, if you want good food for dinner, go elsewhere .

Stopped in for Breakfast last week for the first time based off the reviews here. Made the mistake of ordering the pancakes. No fruit pancakes available. If you wanted fruit, they would just put it on the side, not in the batter. The pancakes were pasty and heavy. Not light and fluffy at all. My wife actually took one bite and disliked it immediately. I ate one out of 3 and that was enough. The waitress actually saw this and did not even ask if there was a problem. If you decide to go here, don't order pancakes. The place was almost empty. That should have been the warning right there. I'll try Althea's across the street next time as we watched most of the people out for breakfast passing this place and going there.

Today our group of women met for lunch at Burgundy Square Café. There were about 15 of us. First of all the service was excellent, in spite of the size of the group. The most important thing, however, was the food! Without exception, every single one of us raved about her meal. I had the Steakhouse Salad which was enough for at least two people. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, and to my specification. The salad was fresh and crisp, the blue cheese dressing loaded with blue cheese and the onion ring topping added just the right crunch.

Food was really good, omelets, homefries, etc. service was unfortunately really weird. I came here with my BF, his parents, and we were waiting on my parents, so 6 people total. We came in apparently right after they stopped serving breakfast- I don't remember the time- 10:30? 11? And there was literally like one other set of diners in the restaurant. We really wanted breakfast, so we decided to go somewhere else. We walked outside, and stood on the sidewalk contemplating our options. One of the women who work there came and got us and said they would make an exception, which was nice. Except for we were still waiting on my parents, and the waitress was in a huge rush to get our orders in, because apparently their cook is a diva and it was a huge inconvenience to make breakfast then? So I called my parents and placed their order. They brought out our food, including my parents, covered at least. Then my parents got there. They had given my dad the wrong thing, and forgot my mom's homefries. So they brought my dad the right thing, but then tried to give my mom the older order of fries off of my dad's first plate. Weird. And the rushing to get us to order, the whole absoluteness of breakfast time, etc. the food was good, but I don't really think we'll be back.

Four of us ate here this evening, and we all enjoyed our dining experience. Both of the men had meatloaf....very good. I had chicken stir fry....delicious. My friend had salmon, and raved about it. best of all, the prices are the lowest we have found in the Venice area.
