The good was excellent. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic lunch. The service could have been better but hey no one is perfect. The calzone was very good as was the chicken piccata. I will say this they have HUGE portions so you will more then likely have leftovers for a second meal. Overall a great explain

This is pretty good. Have had a lot of pizza takeout & have dined in a bunch of times. We always get good service & the food is always good.

I used to frequent Zuccarelli at least twice a month...for over 15 years. Recent changes in menu, value, food quality and service staff are convincing me that all good things come to an end. I still love the garlic rolls--probably the strongest garlic in town (there's nothing like tasting it a half a dozen teeth brushings/mouthwash rinses later). Its too bad that the shitty server last night never even dropped some on our table--not to mention that I even went out of my way to order them. A lot of negative reviews also seem to bash the canned mushrooms which I find to be a much better choice than fresh. Why would you want something on your pizza that's going to dry out and lose a necessary part of it's taste and texture in the oven when the canned variety have a consistent texture the whole way through? 100% of other circumstances in life call for fresh mushrooms--except pizza. It's unfortunate that Zuccarelli's no longer offers dinner specials past 7 pm...the Veal and Eggplant Parm is really good. Don't forget to bring your grandma, though...you'll need her. If I ever have the desire to shove in with the crowd of old people complaining about how hot the soup is on an afternoon that I'm hungover and can't tell how bad the service is, I might be back. Considering I preferred the dinners to the pizza, and dinner time in my household is after 7, I doubt it. Steer clear of the Calamari, too, and you won't have to tear through a bowl of rubber bands.

So glad Joe & Guliano are the owners again! Place is a Margate landmark. Looking forward to seeing them more often. Food is always great and customer service is just as great.

Love this restaurant! I've been eating yummy Italian food here for 30something years now, they have new staff that's joined the team over the past few months but the former manager Joe was the best and newer manager John is super attentive too. Try the chicken parmigiana or clams and linguini, and make sure to visit them for early bird specials too. They include soup, salad, entree and desert too. It's definitely the Italian spot to visit if you are in Margate!!!

We love Zuccarelli's. The best garlic rolls and minestrone soup! Service is usually quick and efficient.

Declined early bird seating after being seated at our tables five minutes to 7. EB ends at 7. We were excellent customers. With all of the wonderful reviews here (not) i guess they can afford to lose a customer that spent approximately 500 dollars this year. Nice job to the manager that was on duty sat night 12-13 who made that decision. Jeffb

Horrible pizza. Didn't even have fresh mozzarella cheese and used canned mushrooms. If you make pizza make pizza the right way.

I came to this place for years and the food was always good. In recent years both the food and the service has declined. Today I decided to give them one last shot. My water cup had a crack and proceeded to drip out and onto me. While we waited 40 minutes for our food to come out our waiter was nowhere to be found. When he did appear to bring out our food my calzone was burnt and my husband's chicken parmesan had hair in it. We had to once again track down the waiter who took the food and disappeared without ever uttering an apology. We left after no staff offered any remorse or even appeared. I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. Even if the food had not been burnt or didnt have hair in it I doubt it would have been appetizing. This place is disgusting please avoid.

Just ok. Went in for lunch..2 slices and a soda for $4.95. First reaction was that they used canned mushrooms (look all dark and glossy). Tasted it, and it was tasty. But as I ate i noticed how doughy the crust was, and I really like super thin NY style. Was it fine, yes. Was it great, no. Good enough.

The food was good. Their fresh sauce and pasta made me give it a 3 star. Shrimp Parmesan hit most of the right notes. I wished the herbs were a little more prominent in the dishes but overall it's not the worse Italian food I had. If you come please do not expect superb customer service. The waiters and waitresses are very forgetful. Very forgetful on the smallest simplest things. If you have patience (like I do) it's a good place to stop and eat if you need take out or just somewhere extremely laid back and kid friendly. Otherwise dont come here for a date or a special occasion.

This place was great if you enjoy cockroaches running up the wall while you're eating, and to top it off no offer of deductions from the bill or any compensation for something so disgusting

I've been going here for many years. I moved away for college, but my family orders from here every time I'm back in town. There's not much to do in Margate, and pizza in SoFla is nothing compared to the stuff I get at college in Chicago, but this place has its own charms. I'm a vegan, and Zuccarelli's is A-ok with that! They may not actually know what "vegan" means, but their crust is dairy and lard-free (unlike Margate's other pizza joint, Annie's, which has lard in the crust). They also have a huge selection of vegetables you can put on your pizza and tasty marinara sauce. My family always gets calzones and the linguini with white clam sauce, which they adore! The service isn't perfect. There's often a lot of kitchen staff standing around looking confused, and many times I've gone to pick up there is only one cashier and a good-sized line. Zuccarelli's is surrounded by a wing place, a spanish diner, a Five Guys, and a grocery store. It is frequented by the city's large senior citizen populated and me, vegan pizza lover.

This is another place I frequent. Why you ask ? The place is average and seems to draw an older crowd. The service is hit or miss. The food is ok, but the pizza is good. They run dinner specials. I guess I go because I live close by.

The pizza is good. Sometimes it's not great, but has got a good flavor. It depends on who's making it. The food is good for the price, and it's right in the neighborhood, so it's convenient.

Last night, my friend and I went to Zuccarelli and we had chicken parm. We agreed that it was just OK. We waited for our dinner for more than an hour. During that time, we had our salad and garlic breads. The garlic breads were hard. Our server seemed to be really new and did not check on us often. I was not really satisified with the services.

Service was no good. We had to ask someone if anyone was working at the table we were at. The waitress wasn't that bright cuz we all ordered a diet coke with lemon and she brings us all water with lemons cuz that's what she thought we wanted. When the food we ordered came out some of it was not the way it was ordered. Food was ok nothing special. Defiantly will not go back

Lots of poor senior citizens with burnt taste buds come here. Overcooked pasta, olive oil wasn't extra virgin - so it didn't pack a punch for my salad dressing. Other options weren't great. I didn't see the food before it was cooked, but if I had an impression in my mind, it's all about canned pasta, canned sauces and canned dressings! If anything, the chef should be canned!

Sorry to disagree with the first reviewer and hey, maybe I'm just too removed from this kind of place, but it worked for me, big time! Real italian folks run the place making real authentic food. I wouldn't know the difference between olive oil and extra virgin.. All I know is that we got a delicious pannini, a great pizza, and a good salad with some tuna & chicken salad on it. Every part about it was awesome, but the authentic & fun guys who worked there made it 10x better. Go get a slice!!!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
