This Location is the best by far. My husband and I eat here 2-3 times a month, sometimes more. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this location since we live close by.. First, I am happy to say this is the cleanest of all the locations I have ever been to. Second, the staff and management are always friendly and welcoming. Third, I give the food a 90% in taste, temperature and variety. The 10% of food dissatisfaction is due to (1) the amount of sodium in some of the items (2) once in a while the fried chicken has a fishy taste due to the frying oil not being filtered or changed more frequently or perhaps the improper fryer was used to fry the chicken i.e. (fish fryer) (3) Sometimes there are items that get somewhat aged and should be tossed out. All very minimal in occurrences. Remember this is a family style buffet. There are children and lots of activity within the restaurant. If you want a quiet dinner out, make a reservation somewhere. The price is right that is for sure. Value for dollar is A+ And please don't forget to tip your servers. I can't tell you how many times I've watched people leave the restaurant without leaving a gratuity. The only thing they left was a mess! Enjoy!

Meat entrees super salty. Not hot or even warm. Whole sautéed mushrooms were fresh hot and not salty. Desserts ... Made to look good and taste devoid of flavor. I get it, that way you don't take more than one. Mission accomplished. Many dishes pushed away after one bite from entrees to dessert. My fault for even walking across the threshold.

The worst dining experiences of our lives!!!!! I don't know what was worst, the horrible food or the screaming kids in the dining room. When we got here the place was packed full of people with their noisy kids. Then we proceeded to the food area and it reminded me of a school cafeteria. Most of the food looked old and dry but it was too late cause we already paid. I tried to stay with safe foods but even that plan didn't work. There was not one thing that we liked. Everything we ate was subpar in quality and taste. Save your money and your health, do NOT eat at any Golden Corral!!!!!!!!! :(

Poison Family Style! If you enjoy rubbery overdone shrimp come to Golden Corral. If you want lewd, coughing toddlers running amuck come to Golden Corral. If you want to wait half an hour for a shrunken burnt piece of fish come to Golden Corral. Need I say more?

Went for a quick dinner on a Saturday night around 8:15 pm. Price was $11.09 for adults, and with signs around us promising all u can eat ribs and it was steak night! Not packed, but a decent stream of p[eople in line and in the buffet. Wow- what a change. And not for the better, I am sorry to say. Still great fresh lettuce ( people can laugh, but never underestimate the power of fresh lettuce vs old brown lettuce). Salad toppings were ok, but no carrots, or broccoli or celery. Lots of canned things like beets, olives, baby corn, and a variety of dressings. Steak (being grilled 4 at a time) were big and cut into small peices as you told what temp you wanted it at. The first time was good - medium rare, nice piece. The second time I (and 5 other people) watched at it cooked for 10 minutes for too long, so when the cook cut into it it was all meduim well and brown.gray. I passed. Tried again, but just didn't happen. Baby back ribs were tough and big- not real baby backs. Ok, I get it- it's not a rib place, but they weren't cooked long enough and tough to cut and chew. They had other ribs (sweet and sour, oriental) but I passed on those. Prime rib was overcooked and all was well done, so passed on that. Fried chicken a bit greasy, but tasted like a grocery store cooked it. Beef stew was pretty good, but overly seasoned on the beef. No tukey like they had before, so I really didn't eat much else. Tried the vegetables (green beans (no flavor), carrot, corn (no flavor). Yeast rolls were good, but the butter was in a huge crock and was warm, and tasted a bit off, as it was not on ice (or if it had been, it was melted) so I didn't take the chance after the first bite. My friends said the bourban chicken, pizza, and mashed potaoes were good, and the soups were ok, but the oriental section wasn't at all. greasy spring rolls and tasteless fried rice. They do have an Italian section, Oriental, and then lots of potatoes, fried shrimp, fish, Desserts- good frozen yogurt, fresh chocolate covered banana peices with chopped peanuts and plain rice crispy square. I think there was only one server to get drinks and clear in our entire section and she tried hard, but too many people and too many drink orders, to get refills fast enough. I tipped her extra as I saw many people not leaving any tip at all. So for me, I would not go back. Maybe lunch is better? Breakfast is not. Pro-= Fast Cheap Buffet Con = Mediocre food Not enough servers People bumping into each other in lines Hard to find things like butter, fresh lemon for tea, etc I could pay the same (add a fountain drink) and get a far better and just as large meal at La Bamba in the same strip mall area. And I will.

You get what you pay for. The service is good and the food is ok. The crowd that eats there is just what you expect for an inexpensive buffet. If you want fine dining this is not the place. If you want a quick inexpensive meal when you are really hungry, then this is your place.

This golden corral location doesnt have a large variety of good food to choose from. I could hardly stomach my food because the section i was sitting in had the most putrid smell ever. It reaked of sweaty socks, body oder, urine and feces coming from the restroom. I had to move to a different section just soo I could at least stomach my meal which I didnt enjoy too much. A waste of $14.08

This GC on Sample Rd in Margate was new for my BD last year.(2010)But I never reviewed it. So we went there again on my BD this year, and it was still the better one of the couple I have visited. The offerings are displayed more temptingly, and more appetizingly, and the tables get cleaned off faster. The food choices are more diverse, and they seem to always have some kind of steak. I always get the seafood salad(yum) and never get the cooked veggies, only salad makings. Soups are tasty. I am partial to any chicken ,and pot roast. Hubby likes their steak, meatloaf and mashed potatoes. ...I say, you can get that @ home!...no atmosphere...just hungry (obsessed) eaters. Still, if you really don't know what you're 'in the mood for'. go here and break out!

Love this buffet! The food and selection is excellent. To barry n- maybe stay home next time and have the wife cook the peach cobbler and the brussel sprouts correctly and don't forget to get some fish to bake while at the market. PLEZZZZZZZE this is not a 5 star restaurant. This is a buffet with over 100 items. Give them a break. I'm taking someone this weekend that's never been. I'm sure he's going to love it.

The buffet choice! An old place that is new and great to go "grazing". This location is the newest and best I have ever been too. You need to first realize that when you go there is to not to get over whelmed by all the food! Just do not grab everything. Pace yourself Another key to this type of dinning that your going to have. Slow and enjoyable. Find a nice table away from the herd and settle in. Timing: Go before all the "cattle" comes in and when there are not many people "hovering" over the food selections. Try to be nice to others because they seem to just push you and grab their item instead of waiting there turn. The food is hot and reliable, the portions are what you want them to be. The staff is excellent but I notice no one tips? (which people should do because they are very attentive and always willing to help) SUMMARY: So the trick is timing, know your value point and have fun!

Great food. Nothing like American buffet food! Let me just say first of, we are big fans of this restaurant and love to come here no matter the location, but I've been to this location twice. (Con) First time was not so great, the waitress we had seemed to over look us and had very little to say except 3 lines the most (which she sort of mumbled to us and said while continuing to walk past us). She constantly walked right past us, most of our finished plates remained on our table even after we left the table to get a new plate of food. We even tried to get her attention instead so that we could at least get a refill (we had finished mostly our entire meals with our cups empty). We were and mostly are always patient with servers/waitress because we have worked in restaurants in the past, so we understand it can be hectic, but in this case there was only two other couples there besides us. ***(pro) but despite that a month ago , we went back yet again today, because we were close by and wanted to have dinner . We are big fans of the food so why not!? Luckily This time we had an amazing woman named EVELYN . She was so sweet, soft spoken and took great care with us, as with the entire section, that was filled up. She never seemed hurried or busy yet she got to everyone in a timely and courteous manner. When we first sat down she greeted us and introduced herself in a very friendly way, (not rushed or mumbled ) . Before i could ask for a refill she had already taken care of it. Last month when i visited i didn't want to review it because although that first waitress was bad, we still loved the restaurant and didn't want to rate it lower than it deserves because of her , but thanks to miss Evelyn i feel much better with the service i was provided and will definitely revisit this location in the future. Great job to the chefs also! Stations were clean and neat and everything looked great!

Now I realize why I don't eat at buffets. Dirty hand kids serving themselves. I'm almost positive there was feces on the door of the ladies bathroom I had to use toilet tissue to open the door to get out. I thought the last Golden corral which I got sick in was bad this one is the worse

Golden Corral is a very good buffet restaurant. They have changed their menu to provide breakfast all day. Their food is fairly good and filling. If you like buffets you'll love Golden Corral. Very fresh food such as pot roast, fried chicken, salads, italian entrees of all types, and desserts. I liked it very much but I won't jump up and down because it isn't the cleanest place in the world, but clean enough to get by.

They season their salt with a little food. I was quite underwhelmed.

If you like buffet restaurants you'll love this Golden Corral. I go for lunch during the week when it's not very crowded. They have a terrific salad bar with a large variety of toppings. There are a lot of items you usually don't find on salad bars at most buffet restaurants. Deviled eggs, seafood salad, tuna salad, and fresh fruits were a few of the items I saw last week. They have several soups and a great chili. The buffet has a huge selection of entree items, I saw an area for Chinese food, Italian food, including pasta and pizza, and Mexican food. They had fish, fried shrimp, cheeseburger sliders, fresh cut turkey, pot roast, meatloaf, chicken livers, the list goes on and on. I enjoyed the vegetables. I love their made from scratch mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, rice, cabbage, carrots, and so much more. They have fresh baked rolls and muffins. The desserts are great also. They have an assortment of pies, cakes, cookies, and puddings. You can get soft serve ice cream or a variety of regular ice creams including, but not limited to, pistachio, rum raisin, and sherbet. There are several toppings for the ice cream. I almost forgot the chocolate fountain with marsh mellows and other items to dip in it. The food tastes fresh and delicious. I'm getting hungry just writing this and thinking about my last visit. During the week all of this food is $8.99 for lunch, and $8:49 for seniors. Between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm seniors are $6.99. A beverage is extra. I don't usually go for supper, but I understand there are many different items on the supper buffet.

Wow! This is the epitome of everything that is wrong with America, but what makes the USA special in so many ways lol. How special you say, approximately 120 selections special. This place is crazy good, in a Buffett way. It would take forever to list all the food but they have everything from A pple pie to Z uccini for your salad or omelet. What I dont understand is the poor reviews about this place. It's a F'ing Buffett in Margate not Vegas. Lol. For the price, 19 and change for me and my daughter this is the best deal in town. If you are worried about kids running around and the food not being fresh you need to come at 730am on Sunday. It was dead and everything was fresh, hot, and untouched....until we came along:) Service was excellent and our server Cindy was really nice. She was quick to fill my coffee up and clear our table. The restaurant was very very very clean. We got there when it opened and the place was spotless. I have been here only once and I feel confident with recommending this place as one of the best buffets in Broward County. A little bird told me that they have the same onion rings that are served at BurgerFi. The same team that owns BurgerFi in Springs owns this Golden Corral folks. No wonder this place is spotless and the food is good. Remember to tell them Dan said go on Sunday Morning at 730am for a disappointment free breakfast buffet, Stay Hungry!

This place is fine. The servers are friendly and there is a big selection. But don't expect good food - it's just average or below average. The desserts are great, but everything else makes me go "meh" I'd personally rather pay a little bit more to go to a good buffet in the area (there are a few) or a little less to go to one like CiCi's pizza or a chinese buffet, which in my opinion would be just as satisfying. But if you just want a little of everything, this place could work as long as you don't expect anything special. I'm sure kids would have a blast here, though!

I know the saying is that more is better but in this case I'm not so sure. For a buffet the cost was in the moderate range but so is the food your eating. I started out with a steak and some mashed potatoes. I should have asked for the steak made to order but instead grabbed one that LOOKED done... Not done! My cow was still bleeding...badly! I don't mind a little pink but I don't want to feel like I need to call an ambulance. The mashed potatoes were good and the fried chicken I added to my plate was cooked through. Dessert was nice as well and their is a lot of variety. I love the cotton candy! This restaurant is family friendly with gangs of children prowling for food while parents sit back and enjoy not trying to corral them to one area...no pun intended. If you don't like children this is not the place for you as they are everywhere! Otherwise not a bad meal for the cost and if your hungry and on a budget then look no further.

Way Better and Way Cheaper than the Casino. Please remember this is a Buffet and not a 5 Star Restaurant. Don't want to eat in a crowd with kids running around then some where else may be better for you. Very Good Food and a Huge Amount of Choices! Great Steaks and Chicken. They offer No Sugar Added Deserts! Our Favorite Buffet!

Me and the wife went to Golden Coral over the 4th weekend and we was surprisingly disappointed.. the previous 2 times we went we enjoyed the food with lots on the menu and and a good variety. This time the good food was NON existent, not cooked well, even the peach cobbler dough was not cooked thorough. They advertise baby back ribs there was NONE, NO fish baked or fried, even the Brussel sprouts were not cooked right. Im not sure if we will go there again, i would have to convince my wife...

Stopped in because it was very close to where I was and because dad wanted custard soft serve ice cream. I wasn't there for the entire buffet meal all I wanted was the ice cream to go and a container which they were more than willing to do for me. I didn't have to drive out of my way dad got his custard soft serve ice cream and I get a good gold star for being daughter of the week.

Ive been going to Golden Corrals for several years..in North Carolina and South Carolina. This is the worst one I have ever been to. Food is dry, place is dirty and has a weird smell in some sections. I usually come for the steak. The server, gave me a piece that was barely cooked. Big difference in quality of food between the one I went to in SC and this one. Will never return.

You get what you pay for. GC is $11 for adults, plus $3 for a fountain drink. All you can eat food, which is already hot and waiting for you, you don't have to worry about clean-up or doing dishes, and there's a wide-array of food for you to eat. That being said, I reiterate that you get what you pay for. The AYCE steak is my favorite part of this buffet. If you can catch the meat station when there are newly cooked pieces of meat, it's delicious and tender. But there are also other hungry patrons vulture'ing around the meat station too, so be ready to claim your meat! The rest of the hot food is lined up on one end of the buffet area. The sides and other protein selections are hit-or-miss. Of course you can't go wrong with the fried foods like shrimp, hushpuppies, and chicken, but you'll feel your heart slowing with every bite. The cooked veggies may or may not be salty, and the pasta and pizza sit under hot lamps for so long, they look quite leathery. But there is something yummy in that kind of greasy comfort food paired with the freedom to pile on mac-n-cheese on top of my mashed potatoes on top of my meatloaf. The middle buffet island has salad fixings, soups, and baked potato and sweet potatoes. Get the sweet potatoes in the gold wrapper; they're always cooked delicious! At the other end of the buffet is the dessert station, where you'll need to navigate among the kids who swarm around the sugary goodness. This GC has a chocolate fountain, which is nice to look at, until you see a little germy finger poke its way under the gooey waterfall recycling its way through the pump, and then you settle on some untainted soft-serve ice cream. There is also some baked goods (apple pie, cakes, and cookies) as well as specialty ice cream flavors that an employee must serve to you. The service is friendly and fast. This location is decently clean, although seating is a bit cramped. But it's always busy, so that's a good sign of food quality and popularity. The plaza has some bad drivers and watch out when it rains because the parking lot will flood something biblical. If Golden Corral was open 24-hours, I could probably find myself here after 2 am where no one can witness my shame, but I also enjoy taking my parents here for an indulgent Sunday dinner.

Stay away from the steaks, too tough but the turkey in gravy & pot roast was good. It was nice seeing the managers working hard with a smile on their faces. Our waitress, Trish never let my ice tea hit the bottom of the glass (nice job). She even helped my kids get cotton candy when they couldn't find it.

This is a family place to eat...the employees are friendly and helpful...yet the environment is ...can I say low budget....its not a high end place to eat and impress...but what made me get up and walk out was the waiters or bus boys..walked around with damp rags in their Apon....pocket wiping down the seat of a chair and then using the same rag to wipe down the table top I was to eat off on...????..is it just me or isn't that a bit GROSS....theirs a nice variety of food and desert but no barriers to keeps lil kids from reaching food with no utensils or sneezing on food...it building is big and roomy..lighting is good...parking is fine...lots of spaces all around the building...located in good area....well lite outside too...silver ware that I had looked clean..if you don't mind sliding your tray on rails and serve yourself...this may be your type of place to enjoy a night out with family...smile.
