Another diamond in the rough. You need to look past the decor because it really is a great little place. We have lunch & breakfast here once a week. The food is really good & if you are from New York, it will remind you of home. It's fairly cheap & the waitresses are all super friendly & hard working. Far better than IHOP or Denny's & you don't leave broke or like you need to be rolled to your car. My only small complaint, I wish they had big glasses of water instead of the small juice cups but they get refilled. Give the place a chance... It's worth it!

My wife and I went for breakfast. We were seated immediately. My wife commented about why it was not busy. Only after we were seated we noticed how dirty everything around us was. We ordered anyway just to give it a chance. The service was good but the food was horrible. Our potatoes were cold, burnt and tasteless. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The rest of the food was very poor. Coffee was very cold. I told our waitress and she quickly went to get me a fresh cup. My wife had full view the coffee station and saw the waitress fill up my cup with decaf after realizing she was out of regular. I had ordered regular but she neglected to tell me. I know we won't be going there again.

Pastrami/corn beef was dried and overcooked. Horrible food and the service was mediocre to bad. Avoid this place.

Average shopping center breakfast place. Service was actually very good! Food was ok but was very cheap so worth it. Not my favortie but close and convenient for us so good enough to try again.

This place is a bit of a gem. Yes, it is a little run down looking. The place hasn't changed much in the 20 something years we've been coming. However, the bagels are simply awesome, the 'shmear' is good, the lox spread is delightful, and the deal is ridiculous. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Meals are well prepared and served quickly. The owner is very nice. The food is good. The coffee is good. It's cheap. The bagels are how a bagel should be (and for me, that means something). For a great inexpensive breakfast or brunch, or a dozen bagels with some cream cheese (or better yet, lox spread or cream cheese with chives), you should check this place out! I've been coming here for years. My parents have a place nearby and whenever they are in town, they come here. When I come down, I'm here almost daily for a nice breakfast. It's practically cheaper to come here than it is to make your own breakfast.

I love this place. A great breakfast spot. Bagel with eggs is amazing. He only challenge I've had is one time when they are busy, the owner literally came and asked us to get up because there were not enough tables. I understand as a business owner that can be stressful.

This place was terrible. Stopped in for lunch on a weekday with my mom. She had the whitefish salad and I had a half sandwich and soup. No one in the place at the height of lunchtime, and it was not clean. The coffee was muddy and undrinkable. Tomatoes were anemic and whitefish salad was very mayonnaisey. My soup was so disgustingly fatty that I couldn't finish it and the corned beef did not taste like corned beef at all--it was like some kind of mystery meat. Go to Bageland or any other of the many bagel places in the area and don't waste your money here.
