Southern cooking. This is some of the most legit food you can get. The only info I could really find was this: "a haven and hangout for bikers on Lithia-Pinecrest Road." It's just east of Lithia Pinecrest Elementary School. When I was a kid, I used to stay at my friend's house, and his dad would always take us here for breakfast on Saturdays. He was a big, big fat ass man, and this place would never fail to satisfy even his most primal culinary desires. That is, if you can call Southern Soul food culinary, which by the way, YOU CAN. If you aren't scared to get down and dirty, roll up your sleeves and hit Tiim's Cafe up instantly!

I have searched high and low for bbq brisket. The kind of brisket that would me make slap someone it's so good. My search ended today
Pretty good for a roadside BBQ wagon. First time here and I ordered the boneless, smoked ribs, potato salad and greens. I don't typically use sauces on my BBQ but will try them next time just to see how they are. The place was jammin' at lunch and I didn't want to hold up the line futzing with all the sauces. The potato salad was really good and a bit on the sweet side but not too much. The greens are spot on with what they should be and the pork was generous, smokey, and delicious. Helpings are generous and I took most of mine home to enjoy over the next two days. The watermelon lemonade was decent but will try the other fruit flavored lemonade next time or the sweet tea. Prices are fair and the Canadian jerky is awesome. Definitely going back to Rick's and will plan lunch here again as it's a bit of a hike from the Orlando area.
Killer chopped pork, collard greens n fries with sweet tea, thank you very much. (They have the full menu but I do loveThe smoker smell as you drive past will pull you in. Worth the stop; best BBQ in Lithia and Brandon area-by far! Picnic tables with covered seating, clean and Super nice folk. It's a family favorite.

The food gets the star....certainly not the service. Went here today for lunch with my family. Ordered the calamari and a Greek salad as an appetizer. Wife said the salad was "good". As for the calamari...I've had worse, but you can tell it's frozen product. Same goes for the marinara, probably from a can. Got a medium pizza, half cheese, half meat (pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon). The cheese tasted funny - not bad, but it was rubbery. The dough was OK I guess, the grease literally dripped out of each slice. Scale of 1-10, the pizza barely makes a 5. Now, on to the service....not that great. Girl was nice enough I guess but didn't really check on us except to bring food out. My wife (who is pregnant and ravenously hungry at this point) is literally looking at our apps in the service window. What is the waitress doing......stacking cups and sorting silverware. Oh, and I didn't mention that we are the ONLY patrons in the restaurant! The cook even informed her the food was up (we saw him do it) and she still took close to two minutes to grab our order and bring it to us. She really wanted to finish sorting silverware I guess... The ladies bathroom door doesn't work correctly (not that I found this out first - my wife told me). Even with "special instructions" on how to lock the door my wife still needed help from the staff. That tells me the restaurant acknowledges the deficiency with the door, but just doesn't want to fix it. Overall, not a great experience. We had high hopes for this place since we just moved here from DC and are in search of great NY style pizza. This isn't the place. Sorry Fishhawk Pizza, we'll look elsewhere.
Atmosphere pretty typical. 8 televisions, red vinyl booths and tables. Large space would be good for larger groups. The menu is what you would expect with some extras (pasta, subs, etc.). We tried the pizza and arancini. Both were okay, typical fare. Sauce appears to be canned, thin crust slightly better than average.
Garlic bites are delicious. Pizza came out fast, but it is quite thin and flimsy. We ordered pepperoni and it was quite greasy, which is expected with good pepperoni, but when coupled with the flimsy crust, it just made it that much more flimsy. It was good overall, but not excellent. I like the fact we can purchase a 2 liter of soda because there were 5 of us eating at the time.

Been here three times. Service can be slow as mentioned but not that bad. Corned beef hash is a little greasy but tastes great and if you are eating it you are not that health conscious anyway Steel cut oatmeal is good and the hash browns are a lot like cracker barrels Good little local place
The Scrambled Egg is excellent! The food is made with the freshest ingredients and EVERYTHING is so tasty. Their in-house potato chips are the best I have EVER had. I disagree with the low reviews previously posted. If you want the same ole fast food, drive thru McDonalds. If you want great, fresh food in a place where you are not just a number or another ticket, eat at The Scrambled Egg. Great things take a little extra time. I find the wait time to be just right. The food and the friendly atmosphere make The Scrambled Egg my favorite place to eat in Fishhawk and beyond. Don't forget to have them cater for you. The same great tasty food prepared to order for any occasion. We had them do sandwiches and chips for our movers when we moved in. The guys were thrilled with not having pizza again and were amazed at how good a sandwich could taste. Everyone fought over the chips. All around rave reviews from my household. I only wish they were open for dinner too!
Food is excellent. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable however the service can be slow, most likely because everything is made fresh to order. It is worth the wait as its delicious and you can certainly taste the quality of ingredients used.

Really good food, always hot and made fresh, our order is always correct in the bag, I no longer even check before leaving. They are always happy to make items to order for my picky eaters at home. Call ahead and you won't have a wait. We've tried three fast food Chinese places in the surrounding area and not only is this one closest, it's the best
The only Chinese food place in the area, which is disappointing since they screw up orders so frequently. I always say the name of the item and the item number, and it's wrong about half the time. Check your food before you leave. Ordering extra spicy is a wasted effort. They're pretty quick, and what they sell is what you're expecting, but it would be nice if I didn't have my order screwed up frequently.
I love this restaurant! Any time I'm looking for something quick to pick up after a long day at work China Star always hits the spot. I usually go with the lo mein and occasionally I'll get some dumpling to share. The staff is always very friendly and they always prepare everything perfectly. Plus, it's always ready in 10 minutes!

Better than average Outback...I always have standard fare of the special and a blooming onion.
This outback has the worst curb side takeaway. The quality of food in the take out would never be served in the restaurant. Not to mention the order is comically always wrong. Since it Is the only restaurant in the area. We continue to put up with the less than mediocre meal. Tonight I ordered walk about cheese soup and got French Onion. I also ordered the Tilapia meal with no crab. We received crab and had to cook the frozen sweet potato fries. The kids burgers were great!
My family went there for mother's day, As usual they always have a good steak meal super service

Had a very busy stressful day...typical Monday...was very relieved to remember Monday night is burger night at Catch 23. Not our first trip at all. The burgers are the most amazing tasting beef served with fries all for $4.99. We always sit at the bar. Tonight they were slammed and we enjoyed Sam and John as our Bar Tenders!! They were of course as always awesome!!! Still don't know what is my favorite dish...love the lobster roll...the sushi is amazing...just love it all and love the people who work so hard to make our dining experience the best!!! Did miss Trish tonight!!! And Eric!!! Love you guys!!
What a let down. Came in for date-night dinner and drinks, and just about everything was a misfire. Sushi Tuesday got us some acceptable rolls, but definitely not worth more than the special prices (although I will say they were presented nicely). Drinks were disappointing - I enjoy a craft beer, and was initially excited by the menu's fairly wide selection. However, the first three I chose - ALL THREE - were unavailable. Guys, why are they even on the menu? Our poor server went back and forth to the bar all those times to just keep disappointing me. One of the beers I did finally get to try, though, clocked in at $8. Maybe I should've just gotten a martini. Dinner was fish salad for the wife, and blackened grouper sandwich for me. Wife enjoyed her fish salad, which she said was very good aside from the shrimp. Blackened grouper sandwich was, again, disappointing. The spices were pretty decent, but the sandwich was completely dry - no dressing, not even something light - and not hot. The fries were cool, hard, and looked like they'd been left in the oven for too long. The entire time, we got to listen to the playlist of someone who wished they lived in Hawaii. Island-style reggae, Jack Johnson, and Dave Matthews were what we got to hear - except when the music would randomly stop, or change songs halfway through. Whoever was in charge of the music, please don't do that anymore. This isn't some coffee shop with an iPod, I'm about to drop nearly $100 on cold fish and a salad. The least you could do is let me listen to ALL of "What Would You Say." Dinner was over $80, even with a "welcome to the neighborhood" coupon. Service was good. And just keep in mind you're in Fishhawk, so be prepared for kids all over the place.
I so wanted to enjoy this place more because our server was awesome and the place is so freaking adorable! Inside and outside, but food is overpriced. The portions are huge (bonus) but lacking in flavor. I had macadamia crusted chicken it was okay. My friend had the macadamia fish and we both were like "can u tell the difference"?? The mashed potatoes were again okay as were the carrots. I think a better daily happy hour would draw more people to this spot. The cocktails were okay as well I wanted the blueberry lemon drop but they were out of blueberry and they replaced with a berry vodka tasted just like a Cosmo and my glass was only 3/4 filled. My friend got the sangria that tasted just like fruit punch. I think they just need to work on the details and taste level of food and drink.

Kids Eat Free Tuesdays means I get boneless wings on Tuesday. Sweet Jalapeno sauce is my usual; not spicy but great flavor. Curly Fries are awesome. Beef's is a bit chainy and safe, but they're friendly enough when dealing with my horrible shrieking children so I'll be back generally on Tuesdays. Full bar, decent enough food.
The service has been fantastic from the manager cleaning our table to the enthusiastic waitress taking our order in a timely manner. Things dipped a little in service after we were forgotten since we didn't order an appetizer. No follow on any needed refills ...made me a little sad. They turned it around with food service. The boneless wings and curly fries were good, but comped another set of both. Can't wait for our next visit!!
Got the boneless basket with curly fries. The amount of food you get for the 12$ basket was not impressive. Two of my 8 "wings" were tiny nuggets. Would not go here again.

Milkshakes are amazing, but that's the only thing that shines. The burgers are ok but over priced. French fries are supposed to be from real potatoes yet something seems off about them especially their texture when you chew them. TLDR: come for the milkshakes, go elsewhere for burgers and fries
One of the best burgers in the Brandon area. And very good fries, too. They will often let adults order from the children's menu, which gives plenty of food.
Good burgers. No complaints. It was just a bit pricy to feed our family with 3 kids but the value is very good. The burgers are huge and yummy.

Hungry Howie’s

Chain pizza. Good enough when Fishhawk or East Coast are closed. Hungry Howie's also does their flavored crusts, so you can get your jalapeno and bacon with a butter cheese crust, and then have a serious cardiac event immediately afterward. In a strip mall, no drive thru, pretty fast service. No dining in.
The worst service. Period. Ordered online almost two hours before delivery, and called the store 10 minutes after the delivery was scheduled but did not arrive. The manager didn't answer the phone put on hold by one of his employees for almost five minutes, so I called back. Put on hold for another five minutes, and could hear the manager talking in the background and assisting his employees with more orders. While on hold, delivery man shows up (25minutes late) and accidentally drops the pizza box sideways on the driveway with pizza spilling out. So, drove to the store to seek a refund, and instead of a pleasant discussion, the manager was defensive and confrontational. Accidents happen, but the manner in which the employees and manager handled those accidents was extremely poor. Will not go back, and don't recommend this pizza place.
