The food gets the star....certainly not the service. Went here today for lunch with my family. Ordered the calamari and a Greek salad as an appetizer. Wife said the salad was "good". As for the calamari...I've had worse, but you can tell it's frozen product. Same goes for the marinara, probably from a can. Got a medium pizza, half cheese, half meat (pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon). The cheese tasted funny - not bad, but it was rubbery. The dough was OK I guess, the grease literally dripped out of each slice. Scale of 1-10, the pizza barely makes a 5. Now, on to the service....not that great. Girl was nice enough I guess but didn't really check on us except to bring food out. My wife (who is pregnant and ravenously hungry at this point) is literally looking at our apps in the service window. What is the waitress doing......stacking cups and sorting silverware. Oh, and I didn't mention that we are the ONLY patrons in the restaurant! The cook even informed her the food was up (we saw him do it) and she still took close to two minutes to grab our order and bring it to us. She really wanted to finish sorting silverware I guess... The ladies bathroom door doesn't work correctly (not that I found this out first - my wife told me). Even with "special instructions" on how to lock the door my wife still needed help from the staff. That tells me the restaurant acknowledges the deficiency with the door, but just doesn't want to fix it. Overall, not a great experience. We had high hopes for this place since we just moved here from DC and are in search of great NY style pizza. This isn't the place. Sorry Fishhawk Pizza, we'll look elsewhere.

Atmosphere pretty typical. 8 televisions, red vinyl booths and tables. Large space would be good for larger groups. The menu is what you would expect with some extras (pasta, subs, etc.). We tried the pizza and arancini. Both were okay, typical fare. Sauce appears to be canned, thin crust slightly better than average.

Garlic bites are delicious. Pizza came out fast, but it is quite thin and flimsy. We ordered pepperoni and it was quite greasy, which is expected with good pepperoni, but when coupled with the flimsy crust, it just made it that much more flimsy. It was good overall, but not excellent. I like the fact we can purchase a 2 liter of soda because there were 5 of us eating at the time.

The pizza is good and the wings are awesome! One of our favorites in the neighborhood. Good beer prices too.

Went here with my in laws for dinner. Family atmosphere. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana which comes with a salad and garlic knots. Mother in law got a sm special pizza. Father in law got the philly steak. The salad was your typical pizza place house. No complaints. The eggplant parm was not the best but cheesy and the sauce was a decent red sauce. It came with a side of pasta as well. I ate one bite. The pasta was so overlooked it was inedible. The MIL enjoyed her pizza thin chewy crust. She said the longer it sat the wetter it got. The FIL says his sandwich was really good. Came out piping hot. I don't think I will come back here.

One of the top pizza in the area. Great service always. Lots of seating room, good for dine in or delivery.

I go here with my brother and my dad occasionally and I've had several different selections from the menu including Pizza, Wings, Chicken Parmesan, Antipasto Salad, Calzones and Strombolis. Everything I've had has been great and the service has always been top notch. Great little place to hang out.

Just moved to the area and thought we would try them out. Won't go again. Very noisy at 8 on a Friday - lots of kids yelling, but staff yelling too. We had to flag down someone to take a app order. They don't even bother with real cups - styrofoam cups and paper plates. "Garlic" bread barely tasted like garlic, mostly tasted like butter. Pizza was really greasy and spinach was out of a can and not even spread out on the pizza. Taste was mediocre. Service was terrible. When we were done and wanted to pay we had to flag down a different waitress after waiting forever - we could see our waitress, but she was sitting down at the table behind us eating pizza. One waitress brought the check a second finally ran us up. Meanwhile the owner (?) had gathered some of the staff at the table behind us and was lecturing them about not taking coupons while they ate in the dining room. Atmosphere and service was terrible, food mediocre and not fresh, wasteful, disposable cups and plates - no thank you!

This is a tough one. I'm going to break this down and rate individually. Food: Pizza - 3 stars (it was soggy) not bad, but it was swimming when it made it to the table. I think the sauce is from a can/jar, and would be better if it was made fresh or at least cooked down, to thicken before adding to the dough. Mushrooms - delicious! The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2. Fresh mushrooms, cooked perfectly with tasty stuffing and topped with cheese. Calamari - not good. Completely flavorless, and they would be better off taking this off the menu. I didn't care for the sweet tea either. I can see why there are complaints about the service, very spotty. We had four different people checking on us the first five minutes we were there, then, desolate. Difficult to get a refill, it's like a really good disappearing act. I liked the decor, it's a classic pizza parlor atmosphere, with a few video games to boot. The floors were cool, I like the stained concrete. The place was fairly clean. The service & calamari really hurt this review.

And so we meet again. Tried this old friend after a long absence. Happy to report that the pizza was really good, as was the antipasti salad. The place was loaded with kids running wild but that's the parents fault, not the restaurants. Back to three stars, almost four. Good pizza, hooray!

Great local pizza place. Food is great, prices are great, service is great. Only one minor ding...the atmosphere is not as "cozy" as one might like. The Stromboli was excellent as was the meat pizza!

Cheesesteak in the oven too long, pizza average at best. Good music, but probably won't be back.

I have always found the pizza here, especially the Sicilian to be fantastic. Today you really had to enjoy delayed gratification, since it took almost an hour to get out meal. Good food as always, but hire some more help.

I got a to-go order cheese pizza and regular fries. There was a long wait, but hospitable staff. An employee, once it started to be bothersome, offered me a free soda. The food itself was great, arguably worth the wait. Overall: even though there was a long wait, the nice staff and great food made up for it.

Came here twice in the first week we moved here. I'm a NY-style pizza guy (ya know, being from there and all), but my wife likes the big chain pizzas for whatever awful reason. We did both agree that this place's pizzas were great, though. Good crust, light sauce, good toppings. Pickup time was a reasonable 30 minutes on a Thursday dinnertime. Antipasto salad was killer. That thing is loaded with meats and cheese, and the dressing they pack with it is really good too. Not sure if it's store policy or just my winning personality, but they tossed in a few garlic knots with it to boot. It's the type of place where people go after softball games with their kids. Small arcade, some draft beers, and great pizza. I know I'll be back.

Don't you hate it when parents do not take care of their children, let them run wild in a restaurant, let them yell and scream, all so they can enjoy a few beers and socialize with their friends? Now multiply that by 6-8 families like this. That is what we were greeted with when we came here tonight. I struggle with whether the manager should intervene with these situations. Unfortunately it took about 20 minutes before a waitress asked if we had been waited on. My husband had had enough and was ready to leave. Once we got a waitress, she was very good and pleasant. But I digress. This is about the food. We started with the antipasto salad. This was very good, full of fresh veggies, meat & cheese. Their house dressing is very good as well. The pizza here has been good then bad when the restaurant changed hands. It seems to be back on track. Pizza was cooked perfectly, ingredients fresh and tasty. They also offer other Italian dishes, calzones and sandwiches, but we come here strictly for the pizza I struggled as to give them 3 or 4 stars, but since the food was so good today, I'll go with a 4 and ignore the bad parenting, screaming kids and long wait! In the end,the pizza wins!!

A-OK local pizza spot. This pizza parlor reminds me of the mom and pop spots we used to have when I was growing up in South Philly. We stopped in for the first time about a week ago to see what the pizza was like. The $1.00 drafts were served fresh and cold by the wait staff and the pizza was as warm and wonderful as a childhood hangout. Kids were everywhere running around playing video games, hanging out and having a great time! This is the kind of place you can go after a game to have a good time with the family. The kids can play games, you can drink a few cheap beers and the pizza is pretty darn good.

Great pizza with a neighborhood atmosphere. Small arcade for the kid in all of us. Side note: parking lot kind of small.

Pizza is overall very good. The toppings are fresh and the slices are huge. It's a neighborhood favorite. They are super busy on weekends so keep that in mind if you go in or call.

Me and the hubby was out running around and decided to check out Fishhawk Pizza. The place was empty but it was around 2:30ish so after lunch and before dinner we took a booth and began to look over the menu. They offered a selection of Italian dishes but we both got pizza. I got by the slice (one regular and one Sicilian) I loved the regular slice but the Sicilian was to much bread and not enough sauce for me. Speaking of the sauce I was impressed. It was a good blend of herbs and spices which complimented the dough. The hubby got a 9" which is a personal pizza size it looked delicious he said he was also impressed with the flavor. The only real negative is there could have been more toppings added. But all in all I would go again and order personal pizza.

Really good pizza and $1 drafts and you can finish off the meal with fresh zeppoles. Love this place. However, can you guys fix the garlic powder thingy...please.

Good food! I always get the Philly cheese steak. I'm not a fan of their mushrooms, but that's not holding me back from the Philly. I wish they had a better Veggie Sub. Other than that good local place.

Best NY style pizza around. Great flavor and crust. They don't use the cheap rabbit turd sausage, it is sliced Italian sausage. Haven't had the dinners, but pizza is great
