Love this place! Tons of games to play! Corn hole is my personal favorite. My girlfriend and I go with another couple and we split a couple buckets of beer and sometimes shots and out tabs have never been over $60 when you add them together. Four 20somethings drinking for 5 hours on less then $60 is pretty awesome. It is an older crowd most of the time. Which is awesome. We are grad students and the worse thing is being at the bar with the undergrads we teach. Live music is always awesome. But depending on where you sit it can be too loud. Past reviewers have commented on the amount of lesbians. Frankly, you c an never have too many lesbians. Could always be gayer. Also puppies.
This place is awesome. I have been here a few times now and is always a great time. The bartenders all are very personable and the drink specials are great as well. Not a bad place for a Sunday Funday. They have a nice patio and a great view of the water. They have had a band play a couple times also. They do not serve food here but I am totally ok with it because there are a number of places to get take out then just head back in. Over sized jenga game set up in the back which is fun when hanging with friends and makes a fun drinking game. Dog friendly is always a good thing as well! Check it out!
Very cool place that feels like you're in Key West. Lots of locals, decent drink selection and killer views

Converting cottages to restaurants with large decks and welcoming yards strewn with fairy lights appears to be Gulfport's forte. Walking down the main drag newly painted and planted little cottages sit next to those still untouched. After seeing the dramatic differences it is difficult to understand why all across the USA neighborhoods do not follow these simple examples and lose their drabness. The restaurants are usually crowded, the servers are good enough to open Server University, but the high priced food is hit or miss. Neptune Grill is the sole restaurant not a converted house, not sweetly decorated but offering a view of the water. Our server was so good we stayed longer than usual not wanting to say good bye. Neptune is as much bar as eatery. The decor is from long ago---meaning there is none. The reasonably priced food is surprisingly good. Two of us had seafood and ate every bit agreeing it was fresh and well prepared. One had Greek food and found it average. We had passed other places where the wait time was 30 minutes. We were seated immediately at Neptune. I would come back here any old day rather than wait to sit in someone's old living room while people crowded around me waiting for my small table. When I do no matter what my order, it will follow a bowl of the rich shrimp bisque.
stuffed flounder dinner was excellent. gyro dinner is great, a lot of food for the $$. fish spread is some of the best around. family friendly.
Late lunch here with my son on a lazy Monday. Met the owners' son who was VERY professional and attentive for your basic diner. I was in the mood for greek food and loaded up, ordering way too much. The food was generally good, but not as great as I hoped. My gyro did not have enough Taziki sauce or veggies, but it was a decent effort. I would like to see a darker Tahini based sauce added. The grape leaves were clearly hand made with love, and truly excellent, except they were covered with a creamy lemon sauce that I did not expect. I prefer my grape leaves dry or just with olive oil. The Greek salad was very competent and satisfying -- no potato salad, which to me is an unhelpful addition from Dunedin, FL. Ironically, the best item we tried were the boneless chicken wings my son ordered. They were perfectly crispy in a very nice buffalo sauce. If it had been early enough to be drinking, this could have been a party hit! I would definitely recommend Neptune Grill and would like to try more of their menu items. It is basically diner comfort food. If I could go there more frequently, I am sure I would find the menu items that satisfy me. This is a well run establishment with the potential for excellence on food, even if they miss the mark sometimes.

Pia’s Trattoria

Reviews:
We've been coming here for years and have always had great meals, specifically on magical pizza Tuesday's! After spending what amounts to a month in Italy, Pia's was the closest thing to real Italian pizza in Tampa Bay. I said was as I was just informed that pizza is no longer served, at all. As a pizza junkie, all I can say is that I'm really heartbroken. The rest the menu is awesome, especially the nightly specials. The appetizers, specifically the sugar grapes, are to die for. The service is another matter entirely. Being located in a high tourist area, you'd think they'd have a better disposition towards their customers, but that's not the case. Service takes forever, just to get a drink, let alone the attitude of the server once she finally takes your order, or is bothered to do so.
Yes, yes, yes! The waitress was really fun, informed and efficient. The lunch special, chicken parmesean with linguini was superb. And the bruchetta with fresh juicy tomatoes, arugula, red onions, oregano and basalmic vingerette very tasty indeed. The cannaloni sausage soup was spicy and delicious, very Tuscan. The Italian garden patio: charming and well designed, with old timey tablecloths. The music was opera, Beatles, country, jazz, blues and all very tasteful. The original local art inside was a pleasure.
This was my first experience eating out in Gulfport, and I really enjoyed it. The outdoor patio dining was beautiful and unique, like a hidden treasure. The garden area had a romantic ambiance. The pasta is fresh and the sauce = delicious. The servings are plentiful but it was so good we didn't leave anything on the plate. Service was extremely slow, however our waiter was incredibly attentive so I think the issue was in the kitchen. Great place for a date as long you don't mind slow service.

Fried green tomato BLT: 5 stars. Incredible. Chipotle mayo adds just the right kick, the whole thing is a winner. I'll be back for this for sure. Breakfast burrito: Good, a little wet. Maybe stick to the tomatoes.
I've only been to Stella's for breakfast, first time it was great This time is was ok. The bloody Mary's have good flavor but are pretty weak.I think it just depends on who makes them. I decided to get the fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict. This dish was not the best I've had there. The eggs were over cooked, the yolks didn't run, the hollandaise sauce had good flavor but was congealed on top of my eggs and the green tomatoes weren't very juicy. All of these issues caused for a dry benedict . On a positive note the potatoes were really good. As always the service was great, the servers were very attentive and we never had to ask for anythinh. This may have just been an off day. I'll be sure to him back and update my review.
Really cute and quaint little place. The staff is super friendly! Breakfast was good, very fresh. My poached eggs on my benedict were cooked perfectly, and the dish wasn't overrun with hollandaise sauce. I suggest the homemade donuts they shop to you - worth it!

Great spot for pizza, Burgers, and extraordinary meat ball Parm sandwich! Can't wait to come back again. The help is great and also the chef that makes the pizzas will do anything to make sure you are satisfied with the meal.
The food is ok. Im a burger expert. If you want a good burger, go to Engine No 9 or Square 1. The owner of this place is a rude, miserable prick. Treats customers of his, and employees of other local businesses like crap. If you want a great burger, there are better places within 10 minutes... Give your business to someone who isnt a sarcastic, uppity, rude douchebag
Simply amazing. The pizza dough is fresh and incredible, and they have quality toppings too! This is my favorite pizza in town for sure. I've also had their burgers and fries, which were both delicious as well. Furthermore, I tried their giant meatball, and it was super tasty. Seriously everything here is so good!

La Creperia Café

Reviews:
Warning!! Read before you decide to go eat here.this place is ran out of sea breeze manor, sea breeze manor is a lovely place ran by Miss lori I would recommend staying there for your visit to florida. But I wouldn't trust their cook there at la creperia cafe. Eat somewhere else!!!! Please!!! Its for your own safety.having a slightly under cooked egg is the least of your worries when eating at la creperia cafe. The main cook there does not care for you or any of the customer that come and eat. If you like eggs that have been sitting out all day over a hot grill, then by all mean try them out but this is a fair warning. If you have gotten sick or felt Ill after eating there you might wanna go back and complain or get a refund. It was probably the food. Nothing is labeled there. What does that mean? They don't keep a record of when the food comes in and when it should be thrown away. As far as you know it may taste okay but it can be laced with bacteria even worse disease. Don't trust the main cook unless you wanna end up with a horrible stomach ache or end up in the hospital for food poisoning. If your wondering where I'm getting this from I was the second cook there. Trust me you don't wanna eat here. You have been warned.
So I called and asked their hours, and they were indeed open but they suggested I try them another day if I could, because they had a large party coming in and they were concerned I might not get the best service. I thought that was pretty cool, but I really, really had it in my head I wanted crepes, so I went in to eat anyway. I assured them I was in no rush and yes, they had cautioned me, and no, I didn't care. That said, the service and the food were phenomenal. I had the Oppa Mexicana crepe, which is a crepe stuffed with peppers, ground beef, and Tex-Mex type things, although not too much cheese; I barely tasted any. It May not have had cheese, come to think of it - not that I'm complaining. I don't need the cheese if the food is seasoned properly. Actually, it may not have been as much Tex-Mex as just Mex. I sat inside - there were about 20-plus people on the patio - and I was able to sit, read the paper, and enjoy a glass of wine. The wine, a LaTour, was nice, but if they'd had a larger beer selection I would have preferred something to go with the Oppa Mexicana. Despite their warnings, I didn't want for anything. The food was served in a timely fashion and it was hot. I didn't expect to eat it all (these aren't diet portions, y'all) but I did. La Creperia is part of Seabreeze Manor, a bed and breakfast, and for a small venue it has a wider selection than I expected. I wish they were open late night so I could come in here and get one of their sweet crepes and an after-dinner drink, but I can't imagine the guests would love that, or that many people would, after a night in Gulfport, go, "Hey, you know what would make this night great? CREPES." Nevertheless, their sweet crepes looked delightful, and I'll be back to try them. I live in Gulfport and should have tried this place when it opened last year; because of its location (just off the main strip, west on Shore Boulevard towards 58th Street), I overlook it. But I will definitely return - it's a quite, non-hurried option for breakfast or lunch.
Great place to enjoy some delicious and fresh crepes. The view is also great out on the porch/patio. Our waiter also recommended the lattes and it was good too. Ask him about his latte art! The owner of the Inn that it is part of also came out to greet us and tell us more about Gulfport. She was very friendly and offered to show us around her Inn. Looks like a great place to stay & enjoy.

As a Chicagoian, this was a disgrace to the 'Chicago Dog'. I will never ever return here to eat again. I had 2 ant crawling out of my food that had just gotten done. GROSS! The hot dogs don't taste like all beef or have that snap when you bite into the hot dog like real Chicago dogs do! They put 2 small quarter pieces of tomato which wasn't even right and one sport pepper when there should be 2. Not to mention the pickle was cut wrong... It's like they are cutting corners to make a few extra bucks. Disgustingly disappointed in their Chicago Dog!!! See picture I posted.
We've been to Yummy's several times. The Italian beef dip sandwich is good, the meat is tender and the au jus dip has a bit of spicy kick. The albacore tuna salad sandwich is fresh and good, if almost too big for me. A good ole' reliable place for lunch that tastes as good and as fresh as mom would make it. I believe the cook puts a lot of love into his food and it shows. Haven't tried the hot dogs yet but will sometime soon.
Really great time had the Chicago dog and the Italian beef. Dog was spot on. Beef was packed!!! Looks like a lot of items I'd like to try

The location is wonderful but the rooms need updating. Could be fantastic with renovations and the service was just ok. Not a good place if you have kids. The Inn keeper told me she isn't too fond of them...
We just discovered a new restaurant in downtown Gulfport now housed within the quaint and lovely Sea Breeze Manor! Sit on the porch overlooking Boca Ciega Bay and have a lovely crepe for breakfast, lunch or dinner - 7 days a week! A great new gem!!!
We were there not a while ago, really nice place, very nice view, nice lady owner Lori,a lot of privacy,I did like everything except cleaning service which is important, room by itself looked pretty normal, nice bed, looked clean,I have this habit as most people do to check bathrooms in the hotels, there is some basic level of cleaning exists,I don't ask for a lot of things,so it was dusty in the bathroom, hairs on the floor, which is not good, last thing was a shower,it was a glass door there, water drops all over it,I doubt smd cleaned it at all,so that make me ask myself if anybody actually cleaned this bathroom. This is really important,a lot of skin infections people can catch, never know who was taking shower before.Overall experience was good, just a cleaning complain.

Awesome Crab Cakes. The prime rib was nice and rare and the service was great too. all around great experience. My wife and I went there for our anniversary dinner and were very pleased. Thank you.
I have been going here for years. It is a solid 4 stars and sometimes five. I always take out of town company here and none have ever been disappointed. I don't talk the place up. No expectations, no disappointments. I just take them and watch their faces when they start tasting their food. The entire road home is I would have never expected that! They always enjoy it.
I love this place. The restaurant is inside an old house. Crab cakes are huge hunks of crab but you can tell its canned crab. Bruschetta is delicious. All the fish dishes I've had were great. The crab and corn chowder is delicious. I love the little patio. The service is friendly and helpful. My wife loves the prime rib and mashed potatoes. The kids salmon was a hit with our daughter. The server was accommodating when she didn't want apple sauce and gold fish, he let her sub mashed potatoes. I know lots of people love their crab cakes but I will be sticking with the fish dishes in the future. We will be back again!

This place used to be HT Canes...so no confusion may follow. Great local atmosphere here. While I'm not a resident of the neighborhood I'm sure numerous customers would know me if I was and walked by Domain. During my visits it seems every customer knows every other customer...in a way it is a small town bar and not a dive bar. Drinks are mad cheap. I kept thinking they were messing up my tab...then again..it could just have been Florida prices...but they still felt cheap. The food is typical pub fare with some added specialties. I didn't eat nor did I see anyone who did so I cannot attest to the quality. On your own there. Service...super friendly and attentive. After several visits they knew me and were guessing my drink. Ambiance-Inside is so-so...step above Floridian dive bar/restaurant average. The outside bar is fantastic. Great views of the bay and people watching vantage point. There is a lot going on on this corner and the Gulfport "beach" nearby. Quality...this is where it lost it for me. Now, you can discount the rest if you are not like me and that is understandable...I'm an elitist beer snob. The most enticing option...really...is Landshark Lager. This is a poor option at best...only on a sweltering day would this be really worth the $3...the rest is very basic domestic mega-brews. Bottles...I'm sorry to say...only made the situation worse. The Heinekens and Stellas were obviously not stored properly and the taste suffered tremendously. I think they're basically just used to turning over case after case of bud lights. If that right down your alley then great...if not you'll be disappointed... I mean so close to the Caribbean...have some Red Strip or Dragon Stout...some Cuban beer...or even more local brews... I'll be back...and if I'd live there I would try to correct the beer issue...and go quite often. You should try it out.
