I visited WOB on a Friday afternoon and received decent service for a recent opening. I had to seat myself as there was not a hostess to be found. They were out of the first three beers I asked for so I eventually had to just say give me what you got. Florida Cracker and Backstop Forty were two good choices. I ordered a pretzel which when it eventually came was huge, and the beer cheese was nice. The food is reasonably priced. The beer is pricey but you pay for the draft coldness and ambiance. There's giant connect four and jenga for kids or while you wait for a table. I will come back after the opening rush/kinks. It's a nice alternative if the Craft Bar is too crowded.

Brand spanking new! And if you've been to world of beer before, it's pretty typical WoB decor. The service was so so, they are still working out the kinks of new restaurants, but the staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back!

It was actually a 5 star food, drink and game watching experience, but the service was a bit lacking. It's a seat yourself type of place, then the hostess follows you over and gives you menus. We decided on a table right by the door, close to the tvs that lined the wall. We sat, we sat, and we sat, literally for 10 minutes. Finally my husband went to the bar and ordered and paid for a beer at the bar, then 5 minutes later, he asked the hostess about a waitress. She literally had to yell for the waitress three times. You can probably tell how the entire experience with the waitress went... so I won't bore you with anymore of those details. I ordered a turkey club sandwich, which came with fries. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was the best club sandwich that I've ever had. I took a picture, so I won't go into detail. I was pleased. I'm the one orders wine in a WOB, yeah that's me. I got a bottle of chardonnay for $19. Before I ordered it, I asked the waitress if I could take it "home" with me if I didn't finish it. She said that you can do that in the state of FL... you just have to stuff the cork back in, and put it in the trunk. So that's what I did. We asked the hostess if she could change a specific tv to the UK vs Notre Dame game and a gentleman came over and asked which one and was very nice... I think he might have been the manager. Side note: UK Wildcats beat the Irish by 1 point and it was quite fun to hear both sides cheering... friendly rivalry.

I had Brat Sliders. Warm but did not seem fresh...I had an unusual draft from Belgium. Very good .., I wanted to try the Casablanca Moroccan Beer. Didn't taste too good then I discovered the date on the bottle shows that it expired in May However He did not charge me and let me try something else. Service we had was good but some of the servers definitely had an attitude problem. I visit Destin often. Probably won't go back

Went for brunch. They asked for our credit card and then proceeded to tell us we couldn't order bottomless drinks unless we ordered food first. Their reasoning was for responsible service of alcohol but they told us we could order drinks before hand but had to pay per drink. Not worth the trip.

I did the brunch with a friend. I choose the bottomless mimosas and chicken and waffles sandwich. My food was pretty damn good and the ambience was perfect. I plan on going there on a weekend when they have a live band playing. It's definitely a great place to hang out with friends and have some good fun! The service, for me, was actually good. The drinks were always on full and service was prompt.

Had the black and blue regular flatbread. It had a lot of depth in flavor and large enough portion size to take some home with me. My husband tried several different beers and was satisfied with the selections. Overall food selection was slim. Service was ok, but nothing to complain about.

Great service by Toni! Excellent atmosphere can't wait to go back! Such a pleasant alternative to the fast paced craft bars! Great place to drop the husband off and go shopping!

I'm confused on why everyone is complaining about food service. Coming from Orlando, there are no WOB locations that serve food or have liquor - and this location has both. I have come here at-least three times now with friends on the weekend - yes, it is packed. Yes, it did take a little while to get our drink order. But once we put the food in (Fried Pickles and the Black and Blue Flatbread) they came out at the same time, were HOT, and were delicious. I will definitely be back. It's nice that they have Cornhole and Jenga to play while you are enjoying the outside, covered patio. There has been a live band the last two times we went and they were both great.

Don't waste your time. I asked the server for the "local" beer selection. " I don't know I have been gone for a few days". Can you ask? - do u want it or not. Just give me a Sam Adams. The food was marginal at best. The no wait should have been a clue.

Decided to give WOB a try tonight for a light meal and beer. It was a Sunday night so it wasn't crowded at all, so there was no lines or waiting. It was a cool night so we decided to sit outside instead of freezing inside. The selection of beers are dizzying, after coming over the menu I finally stumbled upon the zombie killer ( you would have to drink a lot to build up the courage to kill some zombies, so stick to traditional killing methods). Also ordered the crab cakes they were blah and the they are under sized for the price. Great for beers so so for food for me. Off to kill some sleep zombies!!

Awesome beer selection! Food wasn't all that great. Chimay burger was small all burnt. My breakfast tacos could use some seasoning. Bloody Mary was average. Tater tots were very crispy.

  • Debbie F.

I had the shrimp tacos which are under the appetizer menu but it's more than enough to be eaten as a meal. They were surprisingly good and only $8!! Tons of different beers to choose from. Great service, great food. Definitely a place I'll come back to before leaving Destin!

Quick, find a tv!! That was my rationale when my college hoops team came on during March Madness and WOB was the closest place to watch. I was also waiting for friends so this seemed like a good place to just chill. So here is my review. I sat down in the bar closest to the tv to watch and was greeted shortly later by my waitress who was really nice. I looked around and saw an amazing selection of beers and ciders in a huge fridged sorted by country. If you have a bad Belgium beer habit like myself this is a great place to spend that paycheck. I ordered an app (fried pickles) and a Belgium Lambic. The beer, obviously, did not disappoint but the food kinda did. To be fair I didn't have anything else to compare an actual meal. I was eyeing a ruben sammy but as my friends came we decided to go elsewhere. It also would have been nice to hear the game and not just see it. They were playing music instead :/ So I will probably go back, for the beer, but maybe not the food.

My husband and 9 month old boy came to destin for a day trip and decided to try out world of beer for the first time. We sat down and it was busy but the waitress made it known she'd be right with us. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with the peach sangria and my husband had the Chipotle chicken sandwich with a sin cider beer. Both were incredibly delicous! The service was great despite being busy and we had a great experience. For a chain, my expectations were low, but our experience here was great. Even our baby had a good time! Clean plates a d full bellies. :) also, the ranch that is served here is delicous!

Great atmosphere! Loved the beer list. The iPad menu presentation is as impressive as the list itself. Food was excellent. We ordered the Flatbread and shrimp tacos & loved both! Our server, Aaron, was attentive, friendly and helpful. Loved our first experience, looking forward to our next visit!

Visiting Destin and went here because I saw people outside, big mistake! Beer is average and the food is dry and tasteless, chicken is dry and killed my teeth.

  • Rick R.

Service is friendly but very slow. They don't seem staffed properly for the amount of tables in the venue. Took about 15 minutes after being seated to get a wait person to approach. Food was decent though. After asking for the bill, another 15 minutes of wait time. Music is loud. You can talk to your immediate neighbor but a group conversation at a table is nearly impossible.... addition 18 hours later: well that was fun...WoB tapped me for another 8 hours of fun in the lavatory (the turkey club and tater tots got 2 of us that day). More time I can't get back...

  • Ann W.

Service was awesome! Our waiter was very helpful. We made an entire night out of it! Kids even had a blast on the patio!

  • Amy Z.

This is fairly new, but not new enough for them to have worked out the kinks before my visit. Bartenders were great. Beer selection was amazing. Brat sliders were good as well.

  • Meade T.

I've been here about 8 times now and I thought the service would get better from the first time I went there, but it hasn't improved. The wait staff is friendly, but unattentive and will let you sit there with an empty glass for long periods of time. Im not sure of their processes, but the long waits for food and drink are not worth the time or money. The patio area is dog friendly, but this is definitely not a place for large groups.

Lackluster. Went with a larger party and we're all craft beer drinkers. Server didn't offer any suggestions and wasn't helpful. We had one beer each and he brought the check before asking us if we wanted another. Food was pretty good, even though he forgot part of it and it came out later.

  • Patrick P.

They had every beer you could imagine. It was a cool atmosphere. We didn't eat any food, just drank the dranks

  • Jenna O.

Awesome service, great atmosphere, and tons of beers to choose from. I normally don't care for beer but here you are sure to find one to suit you with their huge variety to choose from. They also have a full service bar in the back room called "Blend." You don't have to walk all the way to the back to order liquor though. They also serve food. I've never partaken but have heard its good.

most of the beers are in a bottle.. service was average. one of the few draft IPAs was tapped and were unable to produce a suitable replacement. food was mediocre even for bar food. over hyped.. i would recommend The Craft Beer Bar if you are already in Destin. PS: i put about as much effort into this review as they put into their draft beer selection.. and my account isn't called world of reviews.

We just finished a great meal here. I had the Black and Blue Flatbread. I would highly suggest it. Also, their bloodys are great! Sarah T (our server) was friendly, fast, and knowledgable. Would recommend! We were also here last night for some live music and beer!

  • Theresa C.

For a new restaurant they are doing pretty well. Although service was slow, everyone was friendly so it made it bearable! The food exceeded my expectations. I had the steak flatbread & dry rubbed wings. However, they fell slightly short on the giant pretzel. Could have been better. Overall it was s good atmosphere to watch the Super Bowl in & we will definitely be back!!

Super bad service- slow and not friendly. We went here for an early dinner as a family while visiting our Mom and Dad that vacation here. We have a 7 year old and I know it might seem odd to bring a child to a place that specializes in beer :) But we figured it could be fun for the adults and early enough to be ok. My Husband loves to try new beer and a ton of different kinds so we were excited to try the samples... the first 5 he asked for were out so we were not able to try them- super misleading and disappointing. Then when it came to the food. Nothing for kids- Even though they specialize in beer I was surprised that they had NOTHING for kids- we asked them to adjust an item Mac and cheese to not have pepper jack or if we could just get a cheeseburger with regular cheese and the answer was no- apparently they can't even make 1 child friendly adjustment- super sad. There was two other families with kids there that were struggling with the same thing. We did enjoy a game of patio Jenga as well as the huge connect four though.

We are from Pensacola, and visit the WOB in our location quite a bit. We're very familiar with the amazing beer selection, but ours does not serve the same food menu, so was curious. We ordered the Margarita Flatbread, and was pleasantly surprised. Small, light and fresh, just what we wanted. Ordered the wings also, played it safe with naked with the sauce on the side... Very good also. Unlike the other reviews our service was very good ... Shout out to our waitress Avery, you were great! In the end, WOB is a bar, not a "gastro-pub" like The Craft Bar (which we very much like also) as most have compared it to, a GREAT bar, but a bar. Fun and great atmosphere!

We accidentally went on a night when it was crazy busy because there was a Mardi Gras event going on in the Commons, so service was on the slow side. In their defense, the place was PACKED - my friends and I were having to practically shout just to have a conversation. It was a seat yourself situation as well, which was fine for us but you could tell that some people walking through the door were a bit put off by it. All of that being said - the beer drinkers in my group were really happy with their beer, and the food was excellent. Really really yummy stuff, and I felt like we paid an appropriate amount for what we got. I'm looking forward to going back on a normal night.

While the selection of beer is wonderful, the volume of speaker music and live music is off putting and not enjoyable nor expected from a WOB location. Screaming at my friends to have a conversation is not the norm. I asked for a list of their bottle beers and was instructed to download their app to view what was available locally. After an hour I saw that the waitress was supposed to have given me a iPad with the local beer selection loaded in for perusing. That would have been nice. The food wasn't bad but the kitchen is still working out kinks. My pretzel was slathered in a whole stick of butter and the beer cheese separated before I finished my meal. I also had the brat sliders with tots. The sliders were decent, but the tots were over fried and saturated in grease. Oh, and the speed of the service leaves a lot to be desired. It took me 45 minutes to get my first beer. All in all, I think "growing pains" would describe all of the above issues. The servers just need more training, the music needs to be turned down and the food just needs a few tweaks. It's only been open two weeks, I'd try them again in a couple months as the potential of the location makes this a prime spot. For the time being I'd prefer to go a across the street the Craft Beer Bar.

We were excited to try this new addition to Destin, but will not go back. (MAYBE just for a drink on the porch...) The waiter forgot about half of our order, appetizer came out after we were done with meal. One burger wasn't done correctly, then came back almost 30 mins later after we practically chased down a waiter. Then the manager refused to comp it, and waiter acted like he couldn't care less the entire time! What a disappointment! I will go to Craft Bar 100x over before returning to WOB.

We went here for lunch. The tator tot appetizer was really good. My wife got the bbq flat bread. Had great flavor and was really good. I got the flat iron sandwich. It came out not cooked and cold and couldnt even chew it. Ended up sending it back and got the Guinness Brat sandwich. This was really good. We didnt care for the apple kale salad but I think that is just a preference. I also ordered the Margar (IPA) its a margaritas topped with a local IPA instead of triple sec. It was a bit tart for my liking but still really good. I recommend trying this place. We will be back.

Beers were awesome. Service was awful. They totally forgot about us. Had to go up and ask them to come take our order. Then they never checked on us after they brought our drinks. And they forgot about us when we were ready to check out. I had to go up and get the waitress to get the bill. Awful awful awful.

Rude staff and terrible service. They really need to work on this, I see its been a trend for quite a while.

Service was friendly. They had a lot of beers on draft, although they didn't have anything you couldn't find at other places. Downsides - parking is atrocious. The beer is REALLY expensive. As an example, they were selling a particular beer at $11.50 for a 10 oz glass. The exact same beer is $8 for a 16 ounce glass down the street. I believe the cheapest beer on the draft menu was about $6 for a pint, and that was for a beer that costs about the same for an entire six pack. It was ear-splittingly loud, and the lights were flickering like the circuit was overloaded. The cops were in the parking lot taking statements from half a dozen people when we walked in. Not sure what was going on there, but that combined with the terrible parking tells me you should not drive if you plan on having even a single beer here. This place might be worth checking out, but be advised that it's definitely a tourist trap and there are several much better alternatives within easy driving distance.

this place had terrible service and my server ANNA TORRECARION was strung out and when I did a quick google search found out she is a very sketchy and unethical person. They need to do better background checks at this place! I would not go back!

First time at a WoB, food was fantastic, server was great and very informative about beer to 2 non beer drinkers. I went for lunch with my gf and we got the pretzel with beer cheese (spoiler alert: there's bacon in there!!!, not listed on the menu). I got the shrimp tacos and they are absolutely amazing, so many flavors that compliment each other perfectly. My gf got the steak sandwich, also amazing. The servers did look a little like they are still getting the processes down but we had several made sure our drinks were full and ask if we were good even with a full house for lunch. I will be back and have already recommended to my friends to try it.

Great beer of course! Food is average pub style. It was fairly cool inside and they had the fans a blazing. The kale and apple slaw was good except for the excessive dressing.

Driving by this place I first thought it was one of those mega wine/beer grocery stores. It's a restaurant that serves lots of yummy beers and beer concotions. If you're into beer and hungry, this is the place to go. There beer selection consists of both craft beers from around the world and local panhandle breweries. I had a delicious local porter and a variation of a black and tan. The food was pretty upscale and delicious. This place is right next to a shopping center so let the family shop while you enjoy some great beers and good food. Oh and the service is excellent. The wait staff is attentive and cheerful.

Good music, descent drink prices however, they could have turned on the gas infrared heaters that they have for those wanting to sit outside.
