BEST hibachi and sushi in town! The restaurant is impeccable, fish and veggies are SO fresh, amazing service and attention to detail! I'm a local and frequent this place! It's been open and thriving for over a decade! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Hibachi was great- sukiyaki, steak and shrimp, chicken. Entertaining, nice atmosphere, and tasty food. Martini's were good too party of 7 and everyone had a great time and raved on the hibachi.

Delicious sushi, above and beyond customer service from the time I walked in the door until I received my check. Their prices are very fair too. I will be back!

Another sushi house? Yeah, alright. Lets do this. The good: *The food is fine. It's not the best food in the area, but it's passably good. *The fish was fresh *People can't come in dressing like hicks. So you wont see any tacky tattooed tramp stamps everywhere like you do at Okinawa's. Ladies normally wear dresses and men in nice dress shirts. *It's clean *The servers are nice The bad: *The decore. Come on. You can't be this tacky. Lets get it together. Some of the art isn't even Japanese. It's Chinese and generic "Asian" art. But I guess white people don't know the difference and think it's cool because they're getting Asian "culture" *The sushi is okay. Order something else (It's more of a steak house than a sushi bar) *It's soooooo slow, even when they're barely busy The WTF are you doing: *Full of tourists. Expect loud annoying stories about how amazing their little kid Timmy is and how he's the next Jesus. Yeah, lady I don't care *Full of fat tourists. Lady, cover that up, I don't wanna see it *It's almost always empty. I've been twice and both times it was empty at 8pm. On a weekend *They're catering to white people. Don't expect authentic Japanese food. Expect the white version of whatever the "exotic" idea of Japanese food is. (The way they cook habachi isn't the actual way habachi is cooked in Japan. It's like saying hamburgers are made the same way as hotdogs and they're the same because they're both meat) *It wasn't terribly clean when we sat down at our table. After informing our waitress, she quickly cleaned everything and sat us Yeah, this place is above average, but if you're looking for a relaxing time with good authentic food, look elsewhere.

I love this place because the sushi is so fresh. I have eaten Hibachi as well, the chefs are great but I prefer sushi because I am always on the go. The sushi here is amazing, it's always fresh. Prices are normal. I also get the cold buckwheat noodles with the tempura, spider roll, and sashimi. Great place to go to for a healthy meal. Also, the place is immaculately clean. The management really pays attention to detail because the place is spotless. I am really anal when it comes to eating at clean places and this place is immaculately clean.

Great place! Amazing ambiance! Went here for lunch and was totally impressed with the wide selection in the menu. Food is reasonably priced, great presentation and tasted great! Definitely coming back here to try their hibachi!

Always amazing to have Asian cuisine. The sushi is great and the chicken katsu is even greater. The only thing I'd prefer is to have a bento menu for dinner. The portions are big enough for two, so I'd like to have small portions with a variety of flavors. :) The atmosphere is great as well. People are even better. Very friendly.

Had a great meal here. Teriaki is good and had a shrimp tempura roll with eel and panko that was very tasty. Topped it off with red bean ice cream which was high on vanilla with a tiny taste of red bean. Good. Would come back.

Went on a Saturday night with friends and sat at the hibachi grill. The grounds are inviting, manicured coy ponds and really pretty lighted trees. The inside is much larger than expected, and cleanly decorated. The wait staff and cook were attentive and entertaining. We all ordered grill food and I also ordered from the sushi menu. The sushi gave it the 4th star. The rolls are well priced for the size. I ordered the Dirty Old Man. A regular roll with mounds of raw fish piled on top, drizzled with a nice sauce. The salmon was a bit fatty, but I overlooked it. (I wanted to take a picture, but we vowed to have a phone free dinner - first one to touch their phone, paid for dinner!) I'll go again to order the sushi.

As a local I have eaten at several sushi restaurants in the area and this is always my go to. The sushi is VERY fresh, ample seating, and it comes out quickly.

This was an excellent dining experience! It has all the bells and whistles of your average Japanese Steakhouse but the wait staff and cooks made it really fun for kids. The beer selection was better than many other Japanese Steakhouses. From start to finish this was a great addition to the experiences had on our Destin vacation. Locals seemed to like it as well since our table mates were locals.

First off, the ambience of this place was perfect for my wife and I. Our server, Jeff, made some great recommendations to try the more complex sushi!! My wife, being funny decided to choose the Hot Nurse and dirty old man. The sushi looked exquisite, the taste was just OK...... Bamboo Sushi in Crestview has spoiled us... The sushi included a salad or miso soup. We received one of each. The miso soup was just right and nice & hot. The ginger salad had a ok flavor BUT there was too much dressing (as you can see in the pic I posted). Both were enjoyable and gave us the light meal we had hoped for. Jeff, our server did a perfect job, pleasant demeanor and knew about the menu. Good little sushi place, and only cost $26 for the 2 of us.

Hands down the best hibachi experience my wife and I have ever had. We've had a lot of hibachi but this place was great!! The staff was outstanding, say us right away. The restaurant itself is amazingly clean, nice layout and plenty of seating. The food was amazing, our waiter Patrick was spot on with our appetizers and drink refills. Dan our chef was hilarious and made the hibachi experience amazing. Only draw back was it got 2 $$ for price. It could probably use $$$ signs but it was worth the extra money spent. Will most definitely come back.

Ordered take out with my friend and looked forward to it after seeing Osaka was "best in destin". We were both terribly disappointed and took 2 bites of our food each and threw it away. We both ordered sushi rolls and fried rice and all was uneatable.

Great hibachi and sushi! The chefs on the hibachi grill are always funny, upbeat, and entertaining. During the summer it gets pretty busy, but the staff works very hard to be accommodating. The tempura dishes are always fresh and so is the oyakodon and katsudon. My girlfriend really loves the sushi there. During the low season they offered a very good happy hour at the bar area (2-4-1 beer and wine), but since summer has started they got rid of it. They did not do a very good job of advertising when it would end though. TV in the bar area only. Can accommodate large groups at the hibachi area only.

The place itself is beautiful. Everything else is decent. Some of the cooks are very entertaining and others are ok. Food is good but nothing spectacularly flavorful.

Going to be a quick review, hitting the high points. 1. Most expensive Hibachi/Steak house I have ever been in. Go to their website their menu has no prices. You can pay $48 for an entree here. We had party of three, no alcohol, no appetizers and the check was $102 ($34 a person) 2. Sushi - Rolls only, No Nigiri on the the Menu, it tasted fine about average. 3. The hibachi was not one bit better than any other I have had yet I paid about 30% more for it. 4. Place was clean, service very fast.

I could eat Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar EVERY.DAY. I LOVE celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with friends and family around the hibachi tables! What a fun show! Not to mention, the sushi is top-notch! My favorites include the Pink Lady Roll, Paradise Roll and Volcano Roll.

  • Jovanny A.

Food was typical over priced teppanyaki, and I love it. Plenty of rice and noodles with 'yum yum' sauce to fill you up. This post however is mainly about the chef. Forgot his name but if you get him or have had him before you will know who I'm talking about. Japanese guy with a southern accent. Could not ask for a better table chef, the guy had us rolling over the entire time! He is definitely one of a kind, as I noticed the other chefs were no where near to the caliber of entertainment this guy provided. We will definitely be back again, if only for the entertainment.

The service was really good. When asked, both the waitress and chef picked out the mushrooms that my fiancée did not like. Peter, our chef, was off the chain. He was capable of connecting with his customers, and didn't waste a single move. The restaurant was squeaky clean, and tastefully decorated. The price was a little high, but well worth the amount and quality. We would definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

    (5)
  • Lane H.

Good but I've been to better Japanese restraints for cheaper prices too. Service was great, but the food is not as good of quality as the price says it should be.

    (3)
  • Boo L.

It's cool to go here every once in a while but I go only ocasionally because it is very pricey. Average hibachi dinner with drink and sushi roll for one person (with a party of 7, automatic gratuity) comes close to $60!

    (3)
  • Meredith S.

This place is ok at best! Parties of 6 or more are charged grat and if you are celebrating something you are charged more grat. The fried rice was under seasoned. The steak was over cooked. Would NOT go there again.

I have been here twice; once with a group of six and once just my husband and I. I'm not going to debate the authenticity of the food. It is immaterial to me. The restaurant is super cute and not super snobby, they cater to tourists who want to feel like they are getting their money's worth at a casual swanky place near the beach. The first time we went, my husband ordered hibachi while the rest of us had sushi. He said the hibachi was not good. I tasted it and to be honest, it tasted remarkably like something you would get at the mall. But the fish in the sushi was fresh and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The second time we went, the restaurant was empty. We each ordered sushi and somehow his was totally wrong. He specifically ordered a roll with no raw fish, (picky I know, but hey, he scoured the menu to find something he wanted) and when they brought it to the table there was steak, bacon, and salmon in it. Now I'm no sushi chef, but even to me that seems odd. (Adding a random ingredient to a sushi roll that specifies the ingredients on the menu, seems like a bad idea to me) He sent it back and the chef and waitress stated arguing in another language then both looked at us and said "Sorry" The Pink Lady and Sunrise rolls were tasty again the fish was fresh, the California not, so much. The avocado in the California rolls was already brown. (It is annoying to be served brown avocado at those prices.) The service overall was good, but I found the attention to detail and quality to be lacking, especially at those prices. We will not go back.

seems to be a nice and pretty restaurant, HOWEVER food( sushi) and service are so terrible beyond tolerate, 3 sushi chefs and none of them can explain or give any recommendation when my boyfriend asked couple simple questions about the menu, 3 of them looked at each other and did not know what to answer. The server came after 20 min and same like the chefs did not know much about their own menu, We decided order something basic to try and very dissapointed, rice was so hard and old, spicy tuna was tasteless and the salmon was a bit fishy. Our bar drinks came when we just about to finish and leave. The whole time nobody came and asked about our meal (it wasn't busy at that time). So I guess we fell into the tourist trap and the advertising. UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.!!!!!!!!!!!

The beef is tough to chew. The waiter didn't know what salmon Nigiri was. And sodium levels are through the roof!! LAST TIME I FALL INTO THIS TOURIST TRAP!!!!!!!

Great sushi and lunch specials. Good news is the kitchen is very clean and the owners are very nice. I got the box during lunch, it was only $8 and included way more than I could eat. It was fun because it came with a variety and was so cheap. Definitely would recommend.

  • Joey A.

Hit the sushi bar and it was really really good!! Ordered several rolls, nigiri and tempura. A++ on taste...kinda pricey though. DOM roll was magnificent but $17 for one roll is kinda steep. The common rolls ranged from $10-ish to $14-ish. Nigiri was $5 for one piece...not one order but one piece. The best value is the combo sushi/sashimi platter...killed that too!! Regardless of cost, worth the visit

Oh man... I have to laugh writing this review. If you're a tourist you'll love it. If you're looking for an impressive teppanyaki experience you'll hate it. I ordered the beef teriyaki and tempura veggies. JLN got the shrimp teppanyaki and some random sushi. I immediately knew something was wrong when we were sat at 9pm and the teppanyaki room was empty. Two small groups were finishing up, by the time cocktails arrived we were the only ones. When our 'chef' arrived I knew immediately that he was not japanese. I listened to him for a few minutes before I asked him where he was from. Obviously, his answer of Alabama did not suffice. He was indeed Korean. Too bad we weren't ordering kalbi or bulgogi cause according to JLN his shrimp was boring as hell... and the show was lackluster... I would normally give this experience 3 solid stars.. but while our teppanyaki was cooking and my food finally came out one of the waitresses started VACUUMING for 9 minutes! 9 minutes of vaccuuming?! Then people went running, and beat a drum to sing happy birthday to an employee in the back. And no one was seen again for 15ish minutes... no dessert was offered, just the check.

I went to this restaurant with my family. After a long day of traveling, we wanted some substantial food like a rice dish and noodle (something ending with "don"). Alas, it was the wrong choice. The food was just aweful! My family and I did ordered sushi dishes, which was good. So, at this place, order sushi and nothing else.

So good! This place never disappoints! Even my picky husband gave Osaka 5 out of 5 stars! The hibachi is yummy! The filet mignon is out of this world! The sushi was so good my hubby ate 16 rolls by himself! The chicken teriyaki lunch box was delicious & pretty! Doesn't get any better than this for Asian cuisine.

Food is good, but if you have been to one Japanese steakhouse you have been to all of them. Wife had the sushi and said that it was very good. Both of us ordered an entree and again, they were very good, but portions could be a bit larger. Very expensive for Japanese steakhouse, but overall a good meal. Price of the meal kept my rating down a star.

After a long day at the beach and shopping we stopped at Osaka because it was close to our hotel. It is definitely one of the best Teppanyaki/Hibachi restaurants we've been to though it is on the pricier side. Our chef was Peter and he was incredibly funny--hard to make us laugh since we've been to the one back home so many times. I got the filet mignon and it practically melted in your mouth it was perfectly done! My mom and sister got the chicken and it, too, was incredible--which says a lot considering it's usually over cooked and too dry in most other places. This is a great place for a fun and entertaining dinner with great service! Love!

We flew into the area from the West Coast last night so we wanted something fast... We were originally looking for a different restaurant but I punched in the wrong address in my phone and ended up way off so we settled for Osaka. We sat in the non-hibachi area. Service was good and the food was above average... Had sashimi, a few rolls, and snagged some chicken odon. Overall it was OK. Nothing to really write home about but nothing really negative to say either. Well, perhaps the only criticism is that the white tuna seemed like it was "watery" - like it was defrosted. Flavor-wise it was fresh...

Very clean and well decorated. Very attentive service. The food was solid. Our party ordered vegetable and noodle dinner, hibachi chicken, and teppanyaki shrimp. All were cooked well and tasted fine. Good choice for Japanese steakhouse Probably the cleanest I have ever been to.

Worst sushi joint I have ever experience. The portions are small and it's freaking over priced. You know what was even worst? The service. Drinks took 30 minutes to come out and our server even forgot our drinks and a menu we asked so we had to get the hostess to get it.. Very unprofessional service. We tried to have dinner here the night before but the computers were down. So we tried again the next night. I wish we saved our time and money and went somewhere else. Because this place was not worth one bit of time and money, I wish I could have left when I waited 30 minutes for a damn sweet tea. Save your time and go eat somewhere else.

I've spent enough here to have bought the (very lovely) building, so I suppose no one's better qualified to speak to this matter. The one-star reviewers clearly caught it on a bad night (most Destin reviewers are tourists, not locals): this is a great place. First, it's a beautiful place, centrally located and has tons of parking. In a tourist area that counts! It's also accessible from highways in front and back, so it's not one of those places you just can't really go if you're on the wrong side of town in high season. The sushi bar is excellent, with tons of table seating. I won't pretend the sushi is as good as Harbor Docks or Camille's (or Yamato's in Fort Walton Beach), but it's very close most of the time. Try their Super Crunch Shrimp Roll and their Volcano Roll: different from most and very very good. There's a regular kind of bar too, which looks very fully stocked and very inviting, except that I don't really drink so I don't really care. But you might. But most of the rather large building is devoted to Hibachi, and it's outstanding. Anything you want, and the show is consistently good, especially if you let the chef know that there's someone there who's never seen the show. It's a bit overpriced -- no question about that: it's aimed at the tourists -- but it's great. Just great. This is a date place, family celebration place, business lunch place, anything you want it to be. You will never feel embarrassed here: it's appropriate for anything. It's really one of the best places in town.

Too expensive! Food was okay, but not worth the price. To be at the luckiest fishing location in the world, fish should be cheaper. They're not doing anything special here that you can't see or eat anywhere else in the area.

This place is architecturally pretty, if slightly confusing to navigate. I was craving sashimi and Osaka definitely hit the spot! The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and actually quite plentiful. My GF tried yakisoba for the first time and she loved it. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the meats and veggies were very tasty. Our server was an older asian lady who was very prompt, courteous and very friendly.

Such a great atmosphere and such great service! I don't like sushi so I just got chicken fried rice, and I've had better. But everyone at my table was raving about the sushi! They have such funny names for them!

I'm giving this place 5 stars for the habachi experience. Their chefs are very good entertainers and the food is fantastic. The service is great and the atmosphere is very nice - for a nice date or special occasion dinners. I always get the filet mignon and the shrimp. The noodles are tender and delicious. Of the dozen times or so I've been here, I've never left disappointed. Here's a little secret. If you want to order an appetizer AND you're into spicy food (this isn't too spicy though), order a Dirty Old Man sushi roll. It's not on the menu, but it just may be the most amazing sushi roll you've ever had in your life. ;)

We used to go here a lot until we had two consecutive visits with very fishy salmon nigiri. We stopped going for nearly 2 years and went back when some friends wanted to go for Hibachi. My wife remembered the Hibachi as being good but that was a year or so ago. Well, as our memory continues to deteriorate we decided to go again for sushi on Christmas Eve. We were one of two tables in the place when we arrived and one of three when we left. First, the service was horrible. We asked the waitress to give us another minute before ordering and about 20 minutes later we had to go find her to complete our order. We found the hostess who then took our order incorrectly. Luckily the waitress returned from her walk-about to confirm the incorrect order so we caught the mistake. The sushi was mediocre at best. Not fishy this time but we only ordered rolls because we are both hesitant to order nigiri or sashimi here. If you want good sushi goto Sushimoto. Pricey but so far it has been very good. Too bad Sushi Siam closed.

Took the family here during our summer vacation and it was very disappointing for all of us. The kids were still hungry and the bill was high ($$$). Very overpriced for basic rolls and the rolls were tiny. All the rolls are the same with very slight variations.. either with avocado or with cream cheese. They all are basic california rolls with a slight change. The sushi platter was OK, but it's still overpriced. Our waitress was clueless when we asked her which rolls were cooked and which was not. They were slow with service too and it was not very crowded that night. We definitely won't be going here again.

I am NOT impressed! Don't waste your time if you love sushi. Everything on the menu was pretty much the same thing with a couple variations. A LOT of tempura! A LOT of rice on your rolls. The rolls were small for the amount of money that you are spending- This place is way over priced for what you get. My biggest pet peeve- crappy service. The server was very inexperienced, did not know the menu, overcharged us for extra veggies, and continued to hover over the table until we ordered. My suggestion--keep on driving!

Good food, terrible service. Waitresses seemed aloof, & down right confused. Glasses were frequently empty, yet waitresses could be seen standing around. Our cook looked as though he was just following a script, without any enthusiasm. Figured out why waitresses didn't care after I got the bill... gratuity was already figured in. Maybe great for tourists, but as a local, I will not go back, nor recommend this place to any of my visitors. We ordered the most expensive thing on the menu & my service wasn't much better than Burger King... next time I will go elsewhere.

If you don't get out much, you will love this place. Their sushi bar is limited to a few simple ingredients - lots of tempura and california rolls with a twist. I read that it was a bit expensive, but good - and I agree with the first statement. Overpriced drinks and food. They nickel and dime you for every side or substitution. Wait staff was young, inexperienced and unprofessional. If this is the best sushi place in the area - move.

We dined at the sushi bar. Nigiri sushi (raw fish on rice) was very good, but a bit pricey (around $6 for 2 pieces). The rolls were around $10, but were amazing in flavor and creativity (try the Ichiro--a tempura fried roll). The place is very large and very clean and new. The quality is there for sure--just don't be surprised to spend $30/person.

Worse Japanese restaurant I've eaten at by far. Wife asked for well done steak and it was still bleeding, didn't get chicken when she asked for it, nothing had flavor on it, and it came out to $100 dollars! I could have got more at burger king for $10. Run, don't walk away, only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because I can't give less!!!

I always get the sea breeze roll which is one of the specials and it is delectable as well as a work of art! It's terrible. We went to Destin FL to enjoy our long weekend and we was hoping to have a wonderful gathering with our friends. We had our worst meal in Destin FL. We had a group dinner (6 adults and 3 kids) at Osaka on Saturday night (5/21/2011). 1st, we waited over 15minutes to have a water come over to serve us, and the poor waiter he had about 15-20 tables he need to serve. He just not had enough time to serve us 2nd, the food was horrible. When you want to have Japanese food, the simple ask is fresh food, but they serve a frozen sasumi, I think it was put on the fridge for days. Also, we order a Pork Ka-zu, it overly cooked, tast like plastic. My friend who order the same dish as mine, he even return it. also, while we were having our dinner, the front desk lady walked in a couple to a table which still have dirty dishes on it, she just left menu and couples there, then walked away. The couple didn't know what to do, they just standed there for about 5minutes till an old lady come by to ask them what happened... then the old lady clean the table for them, it's another 10minutes wait. By the way, all the dishes are over priced, I am surprised how this restaurant can survive in Destin FL.

HORRIBLE!!!! Its by far the worst hibachi food I have ever ate. I love Hibachi food and this was the BIGGEST disappointment ever. I asked for my filet mignon to be cooked well done and it still had a lot of blood oozing out. Food is BEYOND over price. No customer service. Do NOT come here if your looking for some good food. I did not even finish eating and my husband paid over $100 just for the 2 of us and they served really small portions.

Great food, great atmosphere. We sat on the hibachi side...my husband order steak and chicken hibachi and I ordered from the sushi menu. We were both pleased with our selections. Our chef, Adam, was amazing and had a wonderful personality. We are on vacation in Destin, Fl and will definitely come back here to eat next time around.

Destin has some pretty bomb sushi places, but unfortunately Osaka is not one of them. I've eaten here 5 times in the past and it was always the hibachi that kept me coming. All of their chefs put on a good show so its good for the children and for couples. It really is a bit pricey, but so is everything in Destin for decent food. The atmosphere is pretty nice as the hibachi tables are pretty open and the layout is nice for large groups. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has never tried hibachi or wants a good spot for a bday dinner.

The miso was way too salty. The service was average and a little creepy. The sushi is over-priced and not that great. The menu is insufficient. How the hell can you claim to have a full service Japanese place that doesn't even have katsu-curry? And the whole look of the place is like a crappy and cheesier version of Epcot. The only reasons it deserves two stars is b/c the portion size was decent and b/c i'm a nice guy. I've never been to Scotland so I wouldn't presume to write a review for McDonald's. If you don't know anything about Japanese food, don't review it. The only passable sushi in the area can be found at Sushi Siam, but it's nothing to write home about.

I haven't been to too many hibachi places, so don't have much to compare to, but this was fun and the food was decent. I had the chicken hibachi and my boyfriend had the chicken & steak. The chicken was nicely flavored and the steak was very tender (he thought it was among the best he's ever had). The rice and noodles were nicely flavored. I would have preferred more vegetables, but there was definitely plenty of food (enough for a meal the next day). The whole thing is supposed to be entertaining and the quality of the entertainment depends on your grill master - ours was pretty good, although a little hard to hear, another table's seemed very quiet and wouldn't have been as fun. The only real drawback was our table mates, who were young and annoying. The waitress was attentive and quick and the food was good. Maybe a little pricey, but I come from a big city so the prices weren't eye-popping for me.

Very Nice! Atmosphere is great, Food is great, Hibatchi Chefs are funny and entertaining. I prefer to go with a somewhat larger group, since I don't play well with strangers. We did have the Manager come out last time to tell us we didnt give the waitress enough of a tip. (usually we have the gratuity in the bill due to the large group, but we where stuck there with strangers). The thing I dont like is, they seem to rush you out the door and the drinks are mainly Ice cubes with two sips but cost you an arm and a leg.

Party at next table was gushed over with service while we had to wait for drink refills and food.

Upon reading a more recent review of Osaka slamming their sushi, I decided that perhaps I should update my review. Osaka has pretty good sushi, but since my initial trip to Osaka I have found 3 places that are better here in Destin. I won't list them here in Osaka's page but you don't have to look hard on Yelp! to find them. Still, the sushi is pretty good here. They usually have good daily special rolls too (which vary).

The thing I dont like is, they seem to rush you out the door and the drinks are mainly Ice cubes with two sips but cost you an arm and a leg.

i have only come here for sushi, they do have a hibachi bar on the other side. but the sushi here is awesome. its always fresh. the miso soup with clams is the best too! not much to say except this place is awesome.

Osaka is a class act. It's newish and clean and the food is about as expensive as you'd expect judging by the overall upscale feel of the restaurant. It's split into two sides, hibachi and sushi. The sushi is really good (try the Rob Rocks roll). The hibachi is delicious, though the one time I went for hibachi the cook wasn't as entertaining or funny as he thought he was. Still, the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. It's a toss-up between here and Camille's as far as sushi goes and as far as I am concerned, but Osaka absolutely deserves five stars.

Had a great meal here. Teriaki is good and had a shrimp tempura roll with eel and panko that was very tasty. Topped it off with red bean ice cream which was high on vanilla with a tiny taste of red bean. Good. Would come back.

BEST hibachi and sushi in town! The restaurant is impeccable, fish and veggies are SO fresh, amazing service and attention to detail! I'm a local and frequent this place! It's been open and thriving for over a decade! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

This place is ok at best! Parties of 6 or more are charged grat and if you are celebrating something you are charged more grat. The fried rice was under seasoned. The steak was over cooked. Would NOT go there again.

So good! This place never disappoints! Even my picky husband gave Osaka 5 out of 5 stars! The hibachi is yummy! The filet mignon is out of this world!

It's not on the menu, but it just may be the most amazing sushi roll you've ever had in your life. ;)

Best Japanese steak house I've found outside of Federal Way, WA. Much better than Benihana Honolulu.

Quality, quality, quality....It really matters. I can't help laughing at this establishment and its so called "Asianess" (if there is any). The only good thing I can say about this place is the ambiance, the building was very nice and well-decorated. But besides that, I had a TERRIBLE experience. We ate at the tepanyaki tables, and the food was mediocre at best. The service was also terrible. Drinks were never refilled, and the waitress only came to take our order and deliver our check, and of course they still expected me to leave a good tip. I would say most of their customers are first time tourists, and I bet locals stay far far away from this place.

Although this restaurant is well placed and very stylish, the service was poor and food was not tasty. Steamed Gyoza appetizer was either overcooked or undercooked as it fell apart when I picked it up and had a sour taste to it even without using dipping sauce. Steamed white rice tasted like generic store brand. Hibachi grill was nothing special...same tourist show you see in every other japanese restaurant. I was disappointed when waiter told me I had to order separate hot green teas for each person, even though they were refillable. To me, that reflects how cheap the management is when they skimp on such a inexpensive item. This was the third time in two years I've been there and unfortunatley, I was disappointed each time for various reasons. Is is too much to expect good service if you are paying over $50 for two people? Definitely not going back; would rather eat at Yamato's or Okinawa in Fort Walton Beach where the Sushi is much better and service is great. One final note...this place plays favorites...if you are a big party, you'll get great service. If you are not, expect lackluster service. Party at next table was gushed over with service while we had to wait for drink refills and food.

I love this place! I have only had the sushi and my kids have had the box lunches. Everything is delicious! I always get the sea breeze roll which is one of the specials and it is delectable as well as a work of art! The staff is friendly and will get you whatever you want...one of my kids loves the miso soup and always orders extra seaweed in hers! they are happy to go and dig out more of it for her! The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Oh, and I looove the red bean ice cream!!

No wait on a rainy labor day weekend. Martini was sweet and lacked.......alcohol. Best thing about this place was the bottled beer. A simple roll was made to look like a salad of seafood.
