Your typical Chinese take out joint. If you don't feel like cooking and are craving Chinese food, this place should do it. It's not the best, but it's not the worst either. They have everything you would find at any other Chinese take-out place whether it be soups, fried rice, lo mein, combination platters, etc. My only disappointment was with the egg rolls. It came with the combination platters we got and it was like biting into a fried cloud. Crunch outside and nothingness on the inside. Eggroll breakdown = 50% fried goodness, 40% air, 10% veggies/meat. I wouldn't come back here if there's another place closer to where we were staying, but I wouldn't be opposed to coming back.

Wanted to get some sesame chicken with all white meat - they told me nothing fried would be all white meat so I opted for chicken fried rice. It was only alright.

This was my first and last time coming here. The place is very dirty but what Chinese restaurant isn't. I ordered a large beef and broccoli, spring rolls, and egg rolls. The beef and broccoli was nothing more than bland and disgusting. Spring rolls were so small,Ike they were a finger food. The only thing that was delicious were the egg rolls. For the price, I would recommend any other place than this one.

We ate here for lunch when we first got to town on vacation. Not sure why I guess just because we couldnt agree on where to eat. It was like any other Chinese I have had in every state nothing mind blowing but very satisfying for the money.

Ordered Thai noodles, Penang curry and spring rolls. Rice was mushy, the entire noodle dish was a box of mush, not a single noodle intact. Spring rolls were the most bottom dollar frozen variety available. Paid $30, my wife and I took about 3 bites and threw it in the trash.

I ate there 2 days ago, and by the time I left and went next door to Walmart, I got very ill. This is the second time this has happened. I had not eaten there for 4yrs, and forgot, my previous experience. When I remembered, I ordered the same thing, both times. It's been 2days, and I'm still sick, and running to the bathroom. I ordered beef with broccoli, both times. I normally have an excellent memory, and don't make the same mistake twice.

Just placed our order online which was easy. Ordered beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and shrimp egg foo young. Everything was DELICIOUS!! We are local and this is the best Chinese food in town!

Get here before 3 for the lunch specials. Clean and quick. They use real utensils as an added bonus!

I thought it was very good. The rice was good but the pepper steak was bland though. The general tso's chicken was what I loved the most. But what I'd like to put out there is that it was over priced

My wife had the shrimp with vegetables and it was good. I had the Thai supposedly curry chicken it was horrible ... chicken fatty and lukewarm with barely a faint taste of curry and absolutely no coconut milk. Bottom line - they don't know how to cook Thai - don't order it.

It is sad when they first opened up we were regular patrons and just like a lot of restaurants they provided great food, decent portions. When I say regular patrons I mean my husband ate lunch there 3 times a week and we ordered dinner once a week. Now that they are established and have upgraded to a new space the quality of the food has deteriorated, the portions of food are small unless you want all rice then you will be happy because that's about all you get.The chicken sesame was dry and had no sauce to speak of.The chicken and broccoli was the same no meat to speak of all rice. The customer service when I called to complain was horrific in fact they hung up on me not once but twice. We supported this restaurant, raved to friends about it when they first opened, now all I can say is stay far away from this establishment. You have been warned.

My boyfriend and I ordered some take out on our vacation. We had the beef with mixed vegetable and a vegetable fried rice. Both dishes were pretty good and this is probably a safe bet for Chinese takeout in Destin, judging from the reviews of some of the other Chinese restaurants. Also, here's a rare compliment coming from me: I am a fan of their fluffy steamed white rice that comes with the meal! I'm very picky about my rice, but this was the perfect consistency of fluffy soft texture. Try this place if you're sick of all the overpriced tourist restaurants in Destin like we were!

The best cookie cutter Chinese restaurant in Destin. They deliver and are fast. Call in orders are always ready when you get there.

Food was fresh & the quantity was good. The service was odd & stilted. Not sure if its cultural or what, but we were barely acknowledged when we came in & everything was handled in a very perfunctory way. We were on our Honeymoon & ordered our food to go, since we had to wait, we opted to run to the store to kill time rather than wait for our food.

The worst Chinese food I've ever had! The beef chow mein didn't even have any beef in it, only beef gravy and a lot of cabbage and onion. Plus it is served with rice, not the crispy chow mein noodles. The shrimp fried rice had a few shrimp in it and hardly any taste. The egg rolls were just so-so. Skip this place.

Everything we got was very good! Mongolian Beef, Honey Chicken, and Lo Mein! Best Chinese I've eaten in Destin.

It was not good because the food we got tasted so sweet! We ended up throwing it away. So if you don't like your food candy apple sweet, I would not eat there or ask them first to hold the sugar. -DisappointedAsianCustomer

The food is always good, and they give sich a big portion that I can usually eat the same meal twice. The family is very nice when I go in. Food is definitely affordable. The bourbon chicken is one of my favorites! :)

Bad service, bland food, MSG overload, I ate a few bites & threw it away. $16 wasted.

We did a carry-out order. The food was average, but good for the price. We had the chicken lo-mein, Mongolian beef, and General Tso's chicken. We were satisfied with it, not blown away. But we would definitely eat there again.

This place really holds up for Chinese food here in Destin. They're very nice, fast, and the food is good and very reasonably priced. They also deliver ($15 minimum order), which always helps to facilitate that food coma!

The food is always fresh and prepared on time. My family really like boneless pork ribs and fried chicken fried rice. I was really amazed by fluffy fresh cooked white rice. My goal is try everything on the menu.

I like this place. I've only picked up food and taken it home, but they are friendly and get to know you quickly. The food is always fresh and good, and the place appears to be clean.

We ordered take out and it took them roughly 30 minutes to make beef and broccoli, some wontons, and sweet and sour shrimp. When we got home there were no shrimp! I called them and they apologized and gave us some cokes on the house but my shrimp was inedible. It was so overlooked that the sweet n sour shell was like an iron casing. We will definitely not be returning

This business just opened and is located next to the Wal-Mart in Destin. We do not have many Chinese options in Destin but this is probably one if the best. First of all, if I was rating service and staff, this would be a 5 star joint. But, I never take into account those things. The food was average. It was fresh. I can't speak for their seafood dishes, primarily because I would never order a seafood dish from a Chinese place. But the Kung Pao Chicken was good, as was the hot and sour soup and mongolian beef. Good, but average. I'll go back. **Edit: they now deliver.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
