Always fresh! Love this place. I don't eat at any other takeout place locally. The veggies are always crispy and fresh and I never get sick here. There are many other Chinese takeouts in deltona but none stand all chance with them. They also remember the customers very well and will do their best to accommodate you. I know they do with my gluten sensitivity. Totally recommend to everyone :)
The best hot and sour soup I've had anywhere! The bourbon chicken is also outstanding--I know, it is not really Chinese--but it is wonderful and very generous portions. They also serve fried green plantains (tostones) which is not on the menu and never disappoint. The dumplings are really good as is the Singapore Mei Fun. This is a family run restaurant and everyone there is very friendly and gracious. I won't go anywhere else. Anytime I have family visiting they always ask to do take out from New China City!
Best chinese in Deltona for sure.

Consistently amazing food for the past 14 years I've been going there. Best damn bagels in the area. Their coffee could use an upgrade.
Updated...still the BEST bagels in the area. Will always drive to this location over the closer one in Lake Mary.
Service was abysmally slow, but the Bacon, Egg & Cheese bagel held up pretty well. The Everything bagel had some great chuncks of sea salt, and generous amount of real eggs too. Coffee was watery, and my companions threw out their iced coffee, which was 'more like sweet milk' than coffee.

My family has been here twice and both times the same thing happen so we know it's not just a one time issue. Let me explain.. Appearance: The place is in dire need of some TLC and major cleaning needs to be done. Everything here looks like it's either never been cleaned or is falling apart. The windows are the first thing you notice and these are filthy & covered with signs and paper notes (which is just trashy) like the ''No shoes, no shirt, no service'' sign which looks like it was written in 1996 and never bothered replaced.... that's the feeling you get for everything you see really; never cleaned, never bothered to be fixed.... and that feeling translate into something a bit stronger: ''These people just dont care about their store!'' Staff: Not helpful, not terribly unkind just not very good at being nice. They're not mean, they're just don't care about making sure you want to come back. Food: Both times we got a XL peperoni to go. Both time the cheese tasted like it's been frozen for generations and that ..freezer taste.. does not go very well with the overall taste of a pizza. In short... it sucks. Pizza should taste like cheese, sauce, and whatever toppings you put on it with a nicely toasted crust. This place hasnt gotten that memo! All you taste is grease, Hormel peperoni, freezer burned cheese, and burnt crust. YUM! *sigh* Seriously though, you can peel the crust off it's that dry. Their dough is horrible... and of course it needs salt. This time we had yet another treat. We got home, opened the box to find the pizza folded .....FOLDED IN HALF....... and one giant mess. We ordered a 22'' pizza and they gave it to us in a 18'' box... and couldnt fit it ...so they folded it..... Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! AVOID!!
Seriously! A 2 dollar delivery charge. The pizza is excellent, but to charge a delivery fee and the driver expects a tip. No thanks
A friend and I wanted to try something new and after having dinner at Italiano's Pizza, we have no regrets! The place was not crowded (it was mid-week) and the service was excellent. I had the calzone with sausage. I should have saved half, as it was so filling, but it was too hard to stop! The garlic knots were excellent! My friend enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs, especially the sauce and fresh mozzarella. I brought a slice of pepperoni pizza home to share, which was well received!

Not sure what events have transpired, however, I've ordered my favorite Orange Chicken because I like the spicy heat. I've even asked the girl up front for Extra Spicy Orange Chicken. She assured me that it will be spicy, nope. Though there was plenty of Florida orange peel in the dish, it wasn't a bit spicy after requesting EXTRA SPICY. Either the management changed or the chef, but I'm not going back. Too many other places to get Take Out from.
Dinner is always good, but staff is sub par. We will only order from here though because I am not going there for the staff, but for the food. We have never eaten in, always order to go. I usually get the general tso chicken (its not spicy at all) and my husband gets the Mongolian beef. We usually ask for it extra spicy and it never is but the egg rolls are good, the wonton soup is good, the lo mein is good... Overall, food is good!
Had the Peking duck, it was very dry, also the wraps were old and dry. They didn't give us the scallions and cucumber slices, pork fried rice old and dry. Will never go back.

I Love New York Pizza

2772 Elkcam Blvd

Reviews:
We were loyal customers that would order weekly but their quality has been lacking. The first time we overlooked it, the second and third time we tried to think it was just a fluke, but by the fourth and fifth (finally calling and complaining) we are done. The Greek salad is delivered wilted, the pizzas sometimes are not cooked thoroughly, and the garlic knots are a puddle of oily mess. Sorry, we used to love this place but we will take our business elsewhere now.
This place is downright amazing. I actually went here the first time by accident because I was at the tag office next door... what a happy mistake! There pizza is to die for and there wings are amazing! The best part? They're really affordable! Amazing pizza from a traditional New York eatery.. My reason for four stars though is the staff.. they're hiring these kids who don't have the same passion as the main pizza cook, while he's in the open throwing dough and getting caked in flour, these kids are on their phones texting, not only that, but one time while I was waiting for my order, the head chef and one of the sous chefs started fighting! Literally fighting in the open, screaming and cussing each other out... I actually felt endangered there for a moment! But I'm not going to let ONE experience ruin my overall view... It was a isolated incident and I've never had any issue like that again!
I have ate here twice at the recommendation of my fiance as she and her mother used to frequent this spot. I lived in Deltona for 6 years and never ate here until recently. I will say that my first impression was that it's a small business, the decor is cool (definitely has that Brooklyn feel) and the staff seemed relatively friendly, at first. The first time we ate here it took us forever to leave, one we were waiting on our check and two the staff was too busy talking to their friends to notice us standing there waiting. We actually had to get our check ourselves so we could leave. Both times I ordered the meat sauce spaghetti with cheese and the flavor is great. Buca would be proud. The food tatses good, albeit the preparation might need some work as the second time I ate there I got sick. 2 days of food poisoning. I noticed towards the end of my meal a penne piece in my spaghetti. After getting sick I realized what might have happened. Most people think that when something is cooked by boiling that it is sanitary and therefore okay to eat or cook with. However the bacterium will leave behind any toxins they might have created. I think what might have happened is that they cooked my food after cooking something with penne and didn't wash the pot. In the downtime the bacteria proliferated and essentially after cooking left me with food poisonous toxins. At this point I should mention I studied Biomedical Sciences at UCF and understand what's happening on a microbial level. I would not recommend this place.

Stopped by on the way to the beach and I was blessed to eat here by accident basically. Was greeted by a very lively group of workers. Paid 5 dollars for a huge breakfast and the waffles, loaded hash browns and eggs were amazing. They made sure I always had anything I needed and we're constantly topping my coffee off. The diner was very clean inside and they were attentive to every guest there. I wish they had waffle houses in so cal but oh well I hope every Waffle House is like this because arguably it would become my favorite place to eat breakfast when out of California
Come for the waffles, stay for the drama. Listening to the manager complaining about how many dishes the previous shift had left behind is always fun! I was only one of two customers in this casa de waffles and so my service was good and my waitress kept my coffee cup refilled while I read the news on my phone. I chose the All Star Breakfast, two eggs over medium, hash browns (covered), city ham and wheat toast. I had them add pecans to my waffle. It was cooked quickly and accurately (though my hash browns order wasn't shouted) and brought to my table promptly, still quite hot. That's a lot of food and I ended up leaving half the ham, two corners of toast and half the waffle. It was good for what it is. I wouldn't recommend eating this every day, but a bit here and there ain't so bad. I did notice that the table salsa lid needs a deep cleaning. The inside of it was BLACK. Ick! I stuck to ketchup and my sriracha2go.
While housesitting in the Deltona/Debary area this weekend I realized I had an irrational breakfast food craving. Fortunately, I was close to The Waffle House. I have not visited this place in years, but I recalled that they have a juke box with their own bizarre Waffle House themed songs. That just made the trip more necessary. Who writes these songs about waffles? I don't frequently review chain restaurants, but I had a stellar chocolate chip waffle that took up an entire dinner plate. The waffle was golden and crispy on the outside and had a soft, pillowy texture on the inside. What I'm trying to say is that the waffle was pretty much flawless. The grits were pretty good too. I'm convinced that if Northers had the grits prepared The Waffle House way they would understand why us 'Southern folks' are so crazy for grits. The rest of the food was pretty good, but loved that waffle. The service was good, fast and friendly. The kitchen is open for diners to see from the barstool seating area. Some of the cooks and servers were singing along to the songs that were playing. This is a fun place to hang out and eat a great waffle.

Can't beat the $2.99 3 egg breakfast. Not a huge fan of the fact that they have a kids menu that doesn't include a drink (like most other restaurants do) so my 4 year old's breakfast cost $6 ($3.99 + $2+ for juice). Food tastes good, though.
Today was our last attempt for this place. Ill start by saying the food had been very good every time my girlfriend and i have been here (about 6 or 7 times). The problem we have is the service. Today i watched a table that sat down 10 minutes after us get their food before our server took our order. We always have to wait for the check. One of the servers offered to help our server when we were sat as she was obviously behind but she declined and we were made to sit and wait for service. On top of all that as we were waiting and waiting i noticed when our server was cleaning a table she paid absolutely no attention to where she was spraying the disinfectant spray, it was sprayed directly on to the creamers and sugar......im sure that the paper stopped it from getting in though. Smh. We will make the 15 drive to go elsewhere from now on instead of the 5 minute walk to this poorly ran place.
Holy amazing creative breakfast menu batman! I had the difficult task to pick one of the amazing plates. I narrowed it down to either the loaded pancake or the blue crab Benedict. I went with the loaded pancake. When they brought it out I had a food party in my head. Before me was a pancake stuffed with hash browns, eggs, scallions, and other deliciousnesses. Top it off with syrup and feast. I almost fell out of the booth when I ate it. Home made grits on the side too. These people are food ninjas! We will be back, hell, we might move in.

Good Pizza from an ex-Chicagoan who knows great pizza! OK, I was beginning to wonder if there was a good pizza here in Central Florida. I asked my friends, who also moved from Illinois if there was a good pizza as we were not successful finding a good pie. They told us about Monster pizza. We thought we would give it a try. This is a pick-up or delivery place as there is nowhere to sit. We ordered a large 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 sausage and all mushrooms. They were generous with their ingredients. The pizza was thin crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese. I must say that the pizza had fresh dough and was so yummy. I definitely would order from here again!
The pizza was good, the price was 30.00 for 1 20 '' pizza w 3 topping. and no one could tell me why it was so expensive.
I've ordered from monster quite a few times and if they are one thing, it's consistent. The pizza and wings are pretty good....it's no authentic NY pizza place but it's good, and they make pretty good time, considering they are probably driving all over Deltona. Tried the fried ravioli and they are delish, will be trying more from their menu. Only wish they were open a little bit later on weekends!!
