Can't beat the $2.99 3 egg breakfast. Not a huge fan of the fact that they have a kids menu that doesn't include a drink (like most other restaurants do) so my 4 year old's breakfast cost $6 ($3.99 + $2+ for juice). Food tastes good, though.

Today was our last attempt for this place. Ill start by saying the food had been very good every time my girlfriend and i have been here (about 6 or 7 times). The problem we have is the service. Today i watched a table that sat down 10 minutes after us get their food before our server took our order. We always have to wait for the check. One of the servers offered to help our server when we were sat as she was obviously behind but she declined and we were made to sit and wait for service. On top of all that as we were waiting and waiting i noticed when our server was cleaning a table she paid absolutely no attention to where she was spraying the disinfectant spray, it was sprayed directly on to the creamers and sugar......im sure that the paper stopped it from getting in though. Smh. We will make the 15 drive to go elsewhere from now on instead of the 5 minute walk to this poorly ran place.

Holy amazing creative breakfast menu batman! I had the difficult task to pick one of the amazing plates. I narrowed it down to either the loaded pancake or the blue crab Benedict. I went with the loaded pancake. When they brought it out I had a food party in my head. Before me was a pancake stuffed with hash browns, eggs, scallions, and other deliciousnesses. Top it off with syrup and feast. I almost fell out of the booth when I ate it. Home made grits on the side too. These people are food ninjas! We will be back, hell, we might move in.

My first time here. The Number 2 breakfast is just Ok. The service is friendly but infrequent.

We were looking forward to amazing food, given their interesting menu. However, the food was not impressive. It reminded me of concession stand food. It lacked depth, flavor, and the service was so-so. We, then, decided to indulge in some goodies from the "bakery" case. Little did we know that the 3 slices of cheesecake, mini cake, and cookies would taste like they were WEEKS old. It was the worst cheesecake I have ever had and the cookies were spat out. I was so disappointed because I expected something great!

The food here is always on point. I love the breakfast options, they have some items you don't really see other places like the chorizo Benedict and the Philly Benedict made on a croissant (it is by far my favorite). They also have baked good that are very good. If you are wondering why it does not get 5 stars is the service is hit or miss. All in all I would recommend going here the food is really good.

Great food at a reasonable price, just wish they had more options on their breakfast menu. A two eggs, two bacon and two pancakes would be perfect but if you deviate in any way it's an extra charge.

Nothing really special! Window boosts *Best In Town* could be because there are no other Breakfast Cafe's in Deltona. Yeppers not even a Denny's. It's been a long time since we've been in. We gave up before due to we both love Eggs Benedict and it never came out right. Menu states that the Eggs Benedict comes with pouched eggs but unfortunately the eggs always came out fried. Wrong way to do it guys. We were going to head out to The Potato Patch in Deland but my wife had limited time due to an Inspection scheduled at her work. She suggested the Cocky Rooster Cafe seeing as it's just down the road from where she works. Trust me I wasn't excited.... Well she ordered #4 eggs, home fries, hash & toast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict making sure to ask if the eggs would be pouched as stated in the menu. The waitress said yes to my surprise. I admit I did say *yeah sure* to myself thinking of the past. A few minutes after placing our order the waitress returned asking me how I wanted my eggs, soft, medium or well done. Huh??? I wanted to tell her just pouch the stupid eggs, but as my wife stared at me I held back and politely said medium thinking here we go again. Well we waited over 25 minutes for our food to come out. No, I know what your thinking. It wasn't busy at all. There was just 1 other table with 2 people who were already eating when we walked in. Who knows maybe asking for the eggs to be pouched threw the cook a curve ball. The waitress made sure to place my food in front of me 1st why looking at me with googlely eyes asking if it looked good. I told her yes as my mind was wondering.... what's wrong. Lot's of Hollandaise Sauce, which by the way was tasteless, covered everything. I had taken 3 bites when my wife asked how is it. I told her I'd let her know when I find some egg. On the 4th bite I finally struck gold. Pouched egg, yeehaa!!!! So see, I did get some. I looked over noticing the burnt hash (from a can, not fresh made) and asked how hers was. She softly and slowly muttered good. Which knowing my wife meant she wasn't thrilled. Well I guess we made another goof.

Food was nothing special. Service was absolutely terrible. Orders came out wrong, had to continually ask for things that were forgotten. Not sure how they keep the doors open. Waitress had 2 tables and was overloaded. We will not be returning!

Our first experience here was ok. The staff was having some issues with one another and felt the need to share it with customers. Even though the servers were nice the service was slow. Had the jack loaded pancakes which were good with the sausage gravy. If I go back it will be for the food and to go.

Great waitresses. Not a lot of non pork options for meals. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was mostly breading. Beautiful decor.

Outstanding food and staff. Cute little place for a get together with family, friends, or co workers. You will not be disappointed. I recommended their monster size meatloaf sandwich. YUM!!!!

Let me preface this with the fact that i am in the customer service business AND I cook so I may be a little more critical than someone else...I live within one mile of this place and was thrilled to see them open since there are no other sit-down restaurants in the area save a Beef O Brady's. I've been here probably five times in the 2 or 3 years since they opened and each time has been a disappointment to some degree. First, they are a little pricey, not outrageous but on the high side. That being said, they seem to scrimp on so much. We get charged extra for onions, had to ask for butter for our toast, and the portions are often smallish. For a restaurant with the word "Bakery" in it's name to not offer fresh biscuits. especially in the South, is shocking. They will proudly tell you that they are made here but they don't tell you that they were made last week and refrigerated or frozen and then warmed on the griddle. BTW, they are "drop" biscuits, not traditional rolled biscuits. Lazy to the max! Even Bisquick biscuits are way better than reheated. Today we tried again. I had the country fried steak which was the same frozen concoction that every diner in the country sell and tasted of stale frying oil. The Home Fries were also deep fried (true home fries are pan or griddle fried, often with onion and seasonings) and also tasted of stale oil. Once again, we had to ask for butter and were charged $1.50 for onions with the hash browns. Much of the menu is fresh and tasty and there are some unusual offerings but I typically leave hungry as the portions are geared more to my 100lb wife than to men of dimension! The pastries and desserts look devine but I've never tried them. All in all this place is OK. They are destined for success because they are the only restaurant within 15 miles in this bedroom community and probably will be until city council figures out how to encourage new businesses instead of driving them out.

Great service, great food! I make sure I stop by each time I am in Deltona. The chef comes out to check with the patrons and the cakes they bake are delicious. The coffee bar is also fun if you want a quick break or just hang out.

I like breakfast. It helps to get my day started on the right foot. This is a good breakfast place. It has a really nice atmosphere (clean, comfortable, plus a couple of bar counters if you're eating alone and don't want to tie up a table) and good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast food that isn't greasy or thrown onto a plate is getting hard to find. I did have to send my potatoes back once because they deep fried them when I asked for well done, and I did get a 'pressed' croissant one morning. Weird, but they fixed them both, so no harm. I sure hope this place lasts!

I went with my daughter, mother, and sister for a girls breakfast on Mother's Day. The service was great and the staff was pleasant. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go back again to try other items on the menu.
