My family has been here twice and both times the same thing happen so we know it's not just a one time issue. Let me explain.. Appearance: The place is in dire need of some TLC and major cleaning needs to be done. Everything here looks like it's either never been cleaned or is falling apart. The windows are the first thing you notice and these are filthy & covered with signs and paper notes (which is just trashy) like the ''No shoes, no shirt, no service'' sign which looks like it was written in 1996 and never bothered replaced.... that's the feeling you get for everything you see really; never cleaned, never bothered to be fixed.... and that feeling translate into something a bit stronger: ''These people just dont care about their store!'' Staff: Not helpful, not terribly unkind just not very good at being nice. They're not mean, they're just don't care about making sure you want to come back. Food: Both times we got a XL peperoni to go. Both time the cheese tasted like it's been frozen for generations and that ..freezer taste.. does not go very well with the overall taste of a pizza. In short... it sucks. Pizza should taste like cheese, sauce, and whatever toppings you put on it with a nicely toasted crust. This place hasnt gotten that memo! All you taste is grease, Hormel peperoni, freezer burned cheese, and burnt crust. YUM! *sigh* Seriously though, you can peel the crust off it's that dry. Their dough is horrible... and of course it needs salt. This time we had yet another treat. We got home, opened the box to find the pizza folded .....FOLDED IN HALF....... and one giant mess. We ordered a 22'' pizza and they gave it to us in a 18'' box... and couldnt fit it ...so they folded it..... Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! AVOID!!

Seriously! A 2 dollar delivery charge. The pizza is excellent, but to charge a delivery fee and the driver expects a tip. No thanks

A friend and I wanted to try something new and after having dinner at Italiano's Pizza, we have no regrets! The place was not crowded (it was mid-week) and the service was excellent. I had the calzone with sausage. I should have saved half, as it was so filling, but it was too hard to stop! The garlic knots were excellent! My friend enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs, especially the sauce and fresh mozzarella. I brought a slice of pepperoni pizza home to share, which was well received!

When I walked in and sat down nobody came to greet me. A few people in the kitchen saw me through the little kitchen cut out window but still nobody came. I walked up to the counter to ask if I needed to order at the counter then sit. One lady apologized and went to find the waitress. The waitress took my order and put it in, then walked right by me ( I was the only one in the dining area lol ) and saw I had no drink left. Its hot outside and I about starting licking the condensation off if the glass. Got the refill on the third pass. Buffalo chicken pizza was pretty good. Waitress redeemed herself on the refills. I would return.

Very good pizza! The crust is good and the sauce is really tasty! The dine in is ok, the are la gets a lot of the grease smell from the kitchen . It would be good if they can just close it off. Service is ok they definitely can improve . They have special that is great for a family of 4 ! But they bring you a liter of soda (literally) and you are pouring the rest of the dinner kind of weird!

We've ordered many times from here & the delivery guy is always exceptionally pleasant. The food is great for the price. We typically order the large calzone which is a tad greasy & a bit on the salty side. It's not the best pizza in the world but probably the best in Deltona. We prefer Italianos over monster pizza any day.

We've been eating here for years. We love they're food it really tastes like you're in new York but the service, and overall look of this place is terrible. With a small renovation and better employees this place would be the best place in town. But I think they win by default, seeing that there isn't much competition

Awesome pizza and prices. I'm from New York so I know pizza. The crust could be a little bit thinner but I can overlook that for all the other food is very good. The garlic rolls are very good, if you love garlic, you will love these rolls. The wings are very good also, my family and I always get the honey mustard wings, they are the best!

Looking for a new pizza place so my family tried this out. GREAT! It really is N.Y. pizza. The x-large pie is 22" just like we remember growing up in N.Y. Cheese has great flavor and so does the sauce. The calzones were filled with the right amount of cheese and had a tasty amount of garlic and spice. The canoli was delicious and the staff was friendly. The restaurant space was immaculate, opened 2 days ago, but nothing too fancy. There is a big screen where you can watch a game while you eat. Plenty of room for families and reasonable prices. We definitely will go again!

Italiano's is a wonderful choice for pizza that does not taste like all the other places out there. We only had pizza, garlic knots and sodas, but we were very pleased. The sicilian style was very filling. Ordering only one 16" and the Sicilian pizza, I wasn't sure if that would be enough, but we ended up bring some home. Very tasty and hot. The facility is small and the tables are small. The five in our party got a both with a chair pulled up to it. A group larger than ours may have difficulty sitting together. The service was good, also, though I think they may want to add an additional server to the staff. The prices were reasonable considering that we ate and brought some home with us after the dinner. When we go back, and we will, we'll try a pasta dish, too.

Really yummy pizza and great garlic knots! We just moved to the area and not only do they have delicious pizza but they also are speedy with their delivery service. They seem to quote much longer than it actually takes. Very friendly and very pleased. We have tried other pizza places around and this is by far the best. Highly recommend.

Wanted some pizza but I decided to get the chicken parm 12". 1-5 rating a 4 , pretty good sandwich the breast super soft the cheese and sauce was good. The chicken didn't really taste fresh. Overall the place needs a better ventilation, while waiting the smell was soo strong my clothing smelled. The staff was friendly , but they can take a bit more initiative to update the place a bit.

I love this place I am from Boston and this is thr best pizza I have had in fl and trust me I have eaten some pizza. Pizza is always fresh and ingredients are great. Service is on point and they are always slammed but always friendly. Haven't gone to another pizza place since finding this place.

Coming from NYC I can say that the pizzas I have had here are good. The crust is thin and crispy. We used to eat at the competition but got tired of the soggy crust.

Original review below this update... Went back for Round 2 at Italiano NY Pizza last week and was underwhelmed by the size of the slice. The first time I went I had a typical NY style slice - large with lots of sliced sausage. Thin crust, not too much sauce and the edge was crisp without being burnt. It was excellent. The second time I ordered a sausage & pepperoni slice. The slice was still tasty without too much sauce and it was baked just right but the actual size of the slice was underwhelming. When you get a slice in NY it's got to be cut from a large pie and it has to be BIG. While I didn't watch them cut my slice before adding the extra ingredients, I suspect they pulled a slice from a medium pie instead of a large pie. If that's not the case they dramatically altered the size from my first visit. Either way, for what I was charged I did not feel I got a solid value on my second visit. As a result, I have to say this pizzeria is inconsistent. If you catch them on a good day, you are going to love the product. If you catch them not paying attention to details, you will still love the taste but you might be less than impressed with the value as I was. Original review: Had a slice of sausage pizza recently and it reminded me of real NY pizza. The inside of the restaurant is very small (2 tables) and could be a lot cleaner, but the slice was very good. I would not take my family there to dine-in, but I will visit again and I recommend. They offer delivery and will make just about any kind of pie you can think of. Thin crust and Sicilian only so don't look for deep dish. The crust was excellent and authentic. Chuck bought the restaurant earlier this year. Give it a shot.

My wife and I have been searching for a Good Pizza.tonight we ate without a doubt the best pizza we have ever eaten. We travel and live all over the world . Most American pizza's would not be served or eaten in most places we have been. Words would not describe the combo we just devoured at Italiano NY pizza in Deltona. This without a doubt was the most delicious one I have ever eaten. It is in a hole in the wall location wit two small tables .We really enjoyed meetings and watching the staff. Very friendly down to earth is an understatement. Ann and Smitty are a really sweet couple.With two other friendly staff. Perhaps you can sit , eat and chat with them.Providing they are not too busy .While we ate ours inside ,what we could of the gigantic 16", they were pretty occupied with the phone ringing ,and waiting on Watk ins like were. I promise you this will be our new pizza home. My wife insisted I stop before I ended up over indulging. Try it you will definitely be impressed.
