I was visiting Tampa for a few days and hung out at this place everyday for their happy hour. The food is standard and I had the blacken wings one of the nights and it was good. Not a fan of the grouper taco though, tasted good but it didn't agree with my stomach later on in the night (maybe it was from too many beers? :)). The best part of the place is the bartender Laureen, she's is usually at the corner bar right by the front door, she makes you feel welcome and a long lost friend. I met her a couple of years ago at the Tilted Kilt and it was good catching up. It's not a fancy place but a good hung out place to watch a game & hang out with friends

First time ever , the food was okay. The wings were OK, I had better. if you like sports this is your place lol. Every game on and the staff was nice.

It's like a Hooters. The food was just ok. I liked Tilted Kilt more and it's right around the corner

Stay away there are better places for Wings n sports bar food. We ordered a few specials and 2 beers. First off the wings at Mcdees are better and those I wouldn't eat either. . We never received our beers until after we were finished with our meal we asked why they were were not served during the lunch and the brainiac bimbo said we should've reminded her to bring the beers out when we first ordered, its not her job to remember,....... My friend ordered medium she received mild instead of course she had no response other than well next time we will get your order correct., They charge you extra for celery and or blue cheese, something that should come standard when you order wings. Buffalo Wild Wings or the Pressbox in Tampa are much better choices for wings, The eye candy was decent but it reminded me of strippers bending over backwards literaly for tips.

Just your normal wings and sports bar. On evenings with UFC, there's usually a police officer present. That should tell you something. Food was 3 stars, service was 2. The girls behind the bar have little to no enthusiasm. I don't blame them. I didn't think it was possible for the girls to wear less than hooters girls, Winghouse has nailed that one. Mission Accomplished.

So, I've been to 3 different Wing House joints, and I've failed to be impressed. The food has been "just OK." With that being said, I need to make it known that this location came correct like nerds on math tests! Friendly servers, super fast delivery, lots of sports coverage and very hot and tasty food! We grubbed down on ASIAN WINGS, GARLIC PARM WINGS, CHILLI CHEESE FRIES and a BUFFALO CHICKEN SAMMICH. Definitely, the star of the show was the sammich. Big, fat, juicy chicken breast butterflied on a soft burger bun and smothered in buffalo wing sauce! BAM! My mouth is moist like a damn South American rain forest just thinking about it. ASIAN and GARLIC PARM wings were good. I've have better garlic parm wings for sure, but the Asian were something different, and I'd order again. Bravo Ken's Wing House. Bravo!

I would definitely not recommend this place. The wings were not flavorful at all, and very oily. We also had the Philly Cheesesteak, which was the the saddest looking sandwich we had ever seen. The fish tacos were way too salty. We also rarely saw our waitress. Definitely will never go back.

Dropped by for a burger and fries. The girls are friendly but the food is expensive and mediocre for what it is. I assume the food prices are at a premium because of the scantily clad waitresses similar to the Tilted Kilt, Hooters, etc. If the girls spent more time waiting tables rather than chatting with each other, patrons would have a better eating experience.

The bar staff are terrible. I watched the (what do you call someone behind the bar that isn't capable of making drinks or even pouring beers correctly) girl deliberate over my Long Island Iced Tea for 15 minutes. It would be forgivable if the girl was pleasant, but that was lacking as well. Didn't try the food, I had no interest in eating there after drinking a LIIT that was missing Gin, Tequila and a splash of coke. I imagine the food is equally sub-par.

I realize I may not be their typical guest Since I'm not there to gawk and don't have a hairy chest but had a blast at WingHouse never the less the energy is rockin', I must confess My cuban sandwich was a major winner and the hubs and kids enjoyed their dinner Ice cream included with kids meal got my daughter to cheer and let me have time to finish my beer speaking of which, not a big fan of their choices for mugs either a tiny one I'd finish in just a few chugs Or a Big daddy that you get an arm workout just to hold and with it's big size is hard to stay cold Overall, if you are lookin to watch sports with little fuss WingHouse is great and the eye candy a plus!

Seated fast and our waitress got our drinks out to us fast. Food took awhile to get out which is weird cause the place wasn't even half full. Food wasn't bad but nothing great either.

Most people here seem to be reviewing the waitresses outfits??? Who gives a crap! I have eaten here and in other Winghouses many times. I have never been disapointed. I love their spicy chicken wings and buffalo shrimp. I prefer it with their giant salad and all the trimmings. Today I went off my normal order and went for the basic cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection the way I ordered it (still pink on the inside). So juicy I couldnt put it down. If you're a sports fan, you won't miss your game here. Many TV's going at once. Fast. friendly service.

Keep driving West, past the Hooters for a better wing experience. Larger wings by far and the staff is definitely much more enjoyable. Christina was amazing!

I love wings, period. If you do too I would recommend you look elsewhere. This is a real shame considering it's the "wing house." I ordered the medium drummets. Basically just a semi spicy oil on dry wings. Had to try two other sauces out of my fridge to stomach them. I can't say I'll be back even though it's right down the street.

I've been to many of the Winghouse locations in Pinellas, but the Gulf-to-Bay location is my favorite. Let's face it, the food is the same at all of them, and so is the beer, so the only thing really to review is the quality of the service. Whenever I go to this location, the bartenders are always much friendlier, the service is quicker, and I like the overall layout of the restaurant a lot more than the others. There are tons of TV's everywhere, and no matter where you sit, you can catch what you want to watch. Yes, most of the customers are men. What else would you expect? I don't understand why that is a complaint for some people. If I had children I wouldn't bring them to Winghouse, but that's a personal choice for everyone to make.

This place has good food but they should higher better employees. Girl forgot my order twice on two separate times.

Dropped by to catch the end of the Thursday night NFL game yesterday, and given the proximal hooters was undergoing a renovation (or as they called it an "augmentation"), I decided to wander in to see how the wings, and barkeeps stacked up. The barkeeps were attractive, the service was awful, the TVs were plentiful, but I couldn't find a single wing worthy of digestion and my stomach is still churning from them 12 hours later. I tried 2 varieties of hot wings (blackened, and dallas), and both were awful and either came out tongue-burning hot, or cool. With all of the available variety nearby, and the mediocre service, good to pass on this place for a while.

Went to their new location in Clearwater. Place has great atmosphere and is definitely a place for men to gather. It was full for lunch but only men. That may come from the servers uniforms. Clearly its designed to catch the man's wandering eye. Shorts a bit longer than a thong, but not much longer. Shirts, well the only thing loose about them would be calling them shirts. If is female all but on full display. And two of these uniforms greet you at the front door and it sounds like they might be smiling when they greet but whose looking at their faces at that point. Manager was constantly circulating dining room but did not really engage anyone. Odd with the staff so engaging though. The servers are eye-catching AND personable. They are having a lot of fun with their guests. All the energy that is created in the environment circumvents the need for a high tech Big Screens and TV's, since no one was watching, I figure that is why they dont buy a lot of em. Food.....Terrible this trip. Twice at this location and both times terrible. Sauces had zero flavor, zero. Unless you count the taste of Flav-O-Fry which is an oil substance used instead butter. Terrible. Drinks-Ice cold, and quickly refilled. So, since Uniforms are minimal, drinks are cold, energy is flying, food can worse than mediocre and they will keep the place full (of men, anyway). If you want a great place to get wings, beer and sports in a high energy atmosphere where the sauces are AWESOME, and an even better happy hour, go around corner to Buffalo Wild Wings next to the Philly's stadium and on Drew. They have it all, Winghouse has 2/3.

The wings are great, service was good. I would not recommend the fish sandwich it was SUPER greesy. I ate one bite its all i could muster. the waitress asked "was it bad" i said it was not edible. I wasnt expecting to be comped the meal but was suprised that it wasnt considering i didnt even touch it.

Asian Wings - they were sugar too sweet, could not finish them, I now probably need to make an appt to my dentist. House On Fire (suppose to be hottest) - these were just medium, not hot as claimed. Chips & Salsa was stale like they were made last Tuesday. BottomLine: Buffalo Wild Wings, Beef O Bradys, and Quaker Stake Lube wings are better.

I go here every now and again (during football and baseball seasons, mainly). Standard Wing House fare - deep fried Americana. The only complaint I have about the Wing House has nothing to do with the food or service, but rather the ambiance (believe it!). Pretty girls are well and good, but the way the building is constructed leads to very echoey sound that rattles from the rafters. I can't hear the other person at the table, even if the restaurant isn't that busy. Still, though, not a dealbreaker for me. I'll be going back.

Stopped here on the way to the airport for a quick lunch. Food was great along with the scenery. Rikki did a great job serving.

Went once, ordered the "not grouper" fish sandwich, which came with fries. My take? Completely ordinary. Even if I liked this place, I wouldn't order that dish again. Had the unbreaded wings on the second visit and while they were tasty, they were very small in size so ten of them did not fill me. Made the mistake of ordering the chili cheese fries. I advise you to avoid these at all costs. The cheese must be melted Velveeta, the chili out of a can. It was just plain gross. As for the waitresses, I'm sorry but there was only one that was attractive and slender, and she gave me dirty looks when she saw me looking at her (excuse me, but isn't that what they are selling)?. This place just plain uses deceptive advertising. The sexy, sleek women on the billboards and menus and pictured in bikinis on the wall do NOT work there. Way too much junk in the trunk amongst 95% of the servers. On the plus side some of them are friendly, and the atmosphere was very open and comfortable, with numerous TV screens for the sports watcher. But that's not enough to win my business. I won't be back.

Much better than Hooters and the girls are friendlier.

Not much to say about this place...other than its a hooters knockoff. Place looks just like it (interior wise ), and servers wear the same type of outfits too. When I saw the menu...there's nothing that stood out. However the wings do taste better than hooters . The country music playlist was a turnoff and it was even blasting loud. This place pretty much serves Its purpose and that's to serve greasy American food with decent looking servers and a bar/divey atmosphere . Still though, it's a good place to watch any sports.

After getting out from work, we decided to stop by and try this place. We ordered Blue Moon and Stella Artois. My fiancé was a bit bummed that there wasn't too much variety of beers on draft but this isn't a brewery so it's cool. We have yet to try the food here, we left because we had other plans. Two rounds on happy hour was around $11.75 (without tip included) !! There is decent eye candy and I do like their black uniform over the Hooters uniform. The atmosphere was very friendly and the music was varied and fun. I would totally return during another happy hour with friends or my fiancé.

Great service. Perfect burger and wings. Despite a busy basketball night, we were served quickly and my cheeseburger was fantastic! Prices are reasonable. Wings were done in a great sauce. We will return to Wing house.

Been there a couple of times for the most part have had OK experiences. The last 2 times waitress was horrible. She brought all of our food out at once the appetizer with salad and wings also had order messed up..

Noelle the bartender was friendly and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable on the menu a guided me to great meal selection. The place was clean and the music just perfect not to loud. Will be back!

Would give them no star if possible....got wings to go....got home and they appear to be fried wings that have been re-fried!! Won't be back again soon.....this is third time we have had to take wings back...thought they might have improved since getting an UNSATISFACTORY rating by health dept. recently......guess they really don't care to stay in business.

Nothing overly fancy here. Decent eye candy I suppose. The place tries really hard to be like Hooters and I feel that causes them to come up a bit short. All of the food looks and tastes like it was once frozen which doesn't help the cause. I tried their Boneless Wings which were just basically glorified Chicken Nuggets spun in sauce. Nothing amazing. Buffalo Wild Wings still has the best Boneless around. I kind of wish I had tried their Traditional Wings instead, but it is what it is. Maybe the next time we visit Tampa I will, but I am in no hurry.

Ker's Winghouse has the best chicken wings on the bone in Tampa Bay. I love eating here and filling my stomach full of good food. The fried mushrooms and onion rings are awesome, too. Beer battered onion rings are the only way to make onion rings and Ker's are the best. Go get your face messy and bring the family, because it is a family place, even though the girls are dressed in Hooter's attire. Awesome food!

  • Danan C.

The service here is totally fine, but the food is not that great. The wings are not that great and they charge extra for every damn thing that comes standard at any other place that serves wings. Celery... $0.42 extra. What the?!

First visit to this particular Winghouse and as I pulled into the parking lot, I realized that back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth this was a popular Bennigan's that I went to quite a few times when I worked nearby. Winghouse did a super job flipping this location and removing that signature elevated bar which was part of that Bennigan's theme. There are multiple bars, one up front and one in back near the kitchen at this Winghouse and really plenty of room overall. As usual, there were plenty of attractive girls behind both bars, waiting on tables or standing at the front door to welcome me or wish me well as I left. My service at the back bar from the two bartenders in the evening was very friendly and attentive, although I didn't catch their names because I was too busy watching the Lightning playoff game. Nice job by one of the managers named Joe to not only switch an extra TV at the bar onto the game for me but also refusing to change it 30 minutes later when somebody sitting behind me at a table wanted to watch something else. This turned into a really good spot to watch the hockey game and I would definitely come back here for another one if the Lightning advance to the next round. Besides, I'm always looking for inexpensive draft beer to wash down good queso and chips and Winghouse provides both. Seriously, the Winghouse queso is better than most of these Mexican fast food joints because it has the right color, texture and heat.

I tried their wings and they actually taste really good. I did the to go service but I went inside and it ended up being a cool enough place that I'd like to go again and sit inside. The ladies were really nice and told me to wait at the bar and the bartender didn't make me wait for very long. Only a few minutes. Then the wings were delicious! I definitely will visit again, maybe for the UFC fight! :)

I was working on town and my coworkers wanted to check it out. I figured it was gonna be like a typical hooter but was surprised at how good the food was. Their wings are awesome and the drinks are reasonably priced. I will go back before I leave for home.

  • Tony R.

I have eaten here twice over the past two weeks. The first time our waiter kept vanishing. Once for the food, than for the drinks, forgot our ranch dressing and was nowhere to be found when we were done and waiting for the check. We had to call a manager to help us out and our waiter never even returned. The food was tasty but the service and world famous winghouse girls were not very attractive. Second time was for takeout and I left with my food and no ranch dressing. So I get all the way home and my $3 worth of ranch dressing is missing so I had to drive all the way back. Who can eat wings without ranch. The Largo location has always been much better.
