It was just one of those restaurants that you go with your family. I was there with my hubby and in-laws. Just had my hearty beef veggie soup which felt like simple old chili soup with salad. I liked their pumpkin bread, warm and fresh. The servers were taking long and never coming back to check on the table. It wasn't crowded (we were maybe the 3rd group of customers)and it was a Sunday. Maybe it was because of the location we were seated, the back part. I wouldn't waste my time here for a quick lunch or if it happened again.

The food was adequate, but that was about the only good thing. Our waiter was nice, but had too many tables. Their drink menu says "free refills," but most of our party didn't get a single refill, because the waiter wasn't around enough. Also, he never offered to refill, we had to ask. These issues did not seem to be specific to our waiter, it seems to be the way they do business. Breakfast places are a dime a dozen around here. We can easily find a comparable breakfast for a comparable price, but with attentive service.

Went in for pie and coffee around 8:30 tonight and were turned away. At Perkins now. Normally go in for breakfast which is usually good as it the service. Will probably be back, but for sure never again in the evening.

First and last time at this Bob Evans location. We usually have brunch at Bob Evans at the St Pete location, but decided to stop here instead. 20 minute wait (because they sat everyone else after us and then told us they called us but didn't see us). The wait area is not that big and we were the second name on the list. I don't mind waiting, or having another group sat before me depending on table size availability that opens up- but to sit 5-6 couples that came in later before us?!! No excuses. Service was decent. My food was sub-par (to put it nicely). My sunny side up eggs were rubbery and cold on the underside but warm on the top part (maybe it sat under the warmer too long?) Sausages were dry and pancakes were not the kind I ordered. This is the classic breakfast. My fiancé had his usual farm burger and it was good for him. Bad icing on the experience- the lunch crowd had came and left and it took forever (another 15-18 minutes) for this simple order to come out. Prior experiences at the St Pete location have always been prompt, correct food, and hot. Maybe that's why I expected the same from this location.

Came in to this Bob Evans because the one near me closed. I needed food before work and I was craving something quick and hearty. The service was fast, friendly and overall the meal was good. I enjoyed the $10.99 three course meal, which consisted of bottomless bread - with choice of soup or salad. A main course (which came with a side dish) and a dessert. Both the husbeastie and I chose the pot roast which was served over mashed potatoes with carrots and onions. It was rich and tasty. There was a salad and banana bread. And a dessert of a caramel sundae - which was unfortunately quite tasteless.

Have gone to this location several times with the rents, who are regulars at this location. We get the same servers and they are always fast and friendly. Food is typical of this type. All was good, solid fare. it seems like they have some solid waitresses that have been here, beyond that, it sounds like lots of turnover.

I had Bob Evans for breakfast once. I had scrambled eggs bacon grits and a biscuit. It was ok nothing outstanding. But it was cheap like $8

The food and the prices are pretty good here -- and its worth a try for what it is. The current special is a 3-course dinner (soup or salad/entree/dessert) for $9.99. We were with a group and everyone was pleased with their meal. The banana bread is awesome! However, we did have horrible service on this particular night. I can't blame the restaurant for one bad experience--but our waitress clearly wanted to be somewhere else.

Horrible service and they can't cook an omelet. Undercooked (and specifically asked for well-done) and looks like it came out of a microwave. I asked for swiss and tomato, they forgot the tomato and then they took it back and plopped cold tomatoes in it and on it. Gross. Breakfast prices are not cheap and the cooks have no clue how to cook an omelet. I tried to eat it but it tasted microwaved and slimy. Happened twice and I am never going back to this site again. They took it off the bill and were polite about it but was a waste of my time and I went home hungry and nauseous. This place used to be great but went downhill. AVOID IF YOU LIKE OMELETS!

This particular Bob Evans has a rude manager and poor, probably dishonest checkout cashier! I tried to call the manager to politely discuss a transaction wherein I was given the wrong amount of change, and she just abruptly hung up on me. Will never give my business to this particular Bob Evans again. I hope the home office reads this, as they need to train their people, PARTICULARLY manager

Cheers had it right, something about a place where everyone knows your name. This is one of my regular morning routines (note to stalkers: I'm never there). Great staff, tasty food.

The food was uninspired, bland, and lukewarm. The service was typical, and the decor was your basic diner chain appearance. It was what you would expect from a place like this. I would definitely recommend going to First Watch instead. It's also a chain but the food is amazing and the service is great.
