We've enjoyed each of the Tijuana Flats locations we've tried, but this one is our favorite. It is always bright and clean, and the staff is personable and very attentive to the restaurant and their customers. It's no wonder this location is normally pretty busy with returning customers like us. The menu is full of choices, but we normally enjoy the weekly "Taco Tuesady" specials and order Hard Tacos with Beef or Soft Tacos with Chicken. Fresh, flavorful and very filling. We also get The Trio, which are very tasty and warm Taco Chips served with cups of fresh Salsa, Queso and Guacamole. Always a treat! The staff adds to the pleasure by clearing your plates as uou are finished (not rushed) and keeping your drinks filled and loaded with shaved ice on a hot day. Ya gotta love this place!!

I love Tijuana flats, this locations staff is always very friendly and the location always clean. I have been to many of these locations and honestly do not have any complaints about any of them. I typically get the nachos or the Dos Tacos which are both awesome and I love the sauce bars and especially love that other locations have different sauces, so theres always something new to try.

Normally I wouldn't review a consistent chain restaurant, but my trip earlier this week was great because of my "cashier" Sarah. TF was very busy with holiday shoppers, and i had lots of special requests for my to go order. Sarah was fast and super friendly! And she was still super nice after I had to modify some previously rung in orders. Sarah also helped me pick out some hot sauce bottles for a gift. After super stressful shopping, I was really put back into a good mood thanks to Sarah. So thanks! After I got home our food was good too. Everything was correct, and our chimichangas yummy.

I went all afternoon without eating. This is a dumb move, so finally after my trip to Kohl's was done, I stopped in at Tijuana Flats fo fill my neglected tummy. This is a new store, the windows really provide for a very bright, airy feeling to what are usually dark venues. The bright "comic book" style art on the walls always makes me smile. This store's, in particular was crisp and fresh, even the ceiling, which was not yet tiled in painted tiles, had ones that were neatly done. The Manager, himself waited on me, he was polite and funny and made sure i got just what I wanted, including the Diet coke, topped with cherry coke for sweetness. *grin* He came out to check on me a few times to make sure that everything was ok, and that I really enjoyed things. And I did. His competency was excellent. He was really personable and told me about how the training of the stores were done, how quickly the stores are growing and how they manage to keep quality even across the board.

Healthy choices. Whether it's a burrito or taco, you can make it as healthy as you want! BAD PART outrageously delicious Banana Empanadas! Manager Josh came over, spoke to us and made us aware of all options. I like all the fixings sans wrap! I also like servers' recommendation on the hot sauces at their hot sauce bar! WHOA! The staff here is most hospitable w3ith the best of service! Since my first visit, I've come back 4 times..even dangerously close to a Triathlon day. Still, it fueled me clean without the "natural" effects! Good on ya, Tijuana Flats!

As fast food Mexican food goes, this place is great. They salsa bar is an awesome idea, and breaks away from the typical choices of; Mild, Hot, or Fire. I need to make it over there on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesdays. I always get Dos Steak Tacos. As Tijuana Flats goes it's a bit small. And the Cookie Dough Flautas are out of this world!

We have been Tijuana fans for years now and are happy that we now have this location a bit closer to home. The service is friendly, genuine, and fast. The food is fresh and if carefully ordered actually pretty healthy. The hot sauce bar adds an original touch to each visit even if you order the exact same entree from one visit to the next. The staff at this location has gone above and beyond to engage us and ensure we had everything we needed.

I like the Tijuana Flats chain, and this is a new location close to home for me! TF is a chain of Mexican Restaurants. You order at a counter and pay, and then they bring the food to your table. They also refill drinks for you. There is a self-service hot sauce bar with lots of choices of varying "hotness." I always get the tacos, which are very tasty. Make it a meal and you get beans (black or refried), rice and a drink --- not bad. The queso and chips are also very good. If you like this kind of food -- you'll like TF. This particular location is kind of small compared to others, but is otherwise pretty much like every other one.

Yep I still love Tijuana Flats, we still go often. I just wanted to update to say I just learned you can order only 1 taco! This is awesome news because I always found the 2 tacos to be way to much food. Their tacos are ginormous. 1 taco still comes with a side of chips and now my husband and I can eat dinner here for around $10 both leaving plenty full. I think you can see why we go so often.

Food is decent. But I had to sit outside because the music was so loud inside I felt like I was a night club. A nice selection of hot sauces, but probably a third of them where empty. Staff was very friendly.

Friendly staff, good service, good food. The guacamole can be quite variable from visit to visit but typically good! The sangria can also be a bit variable but tonight's is great! I love that there is a T-Flats within easy distance from me now!

Love it. Some of the best fast food you can get. Tex-mex is good for lunch or dinner and they truely do a good job. Very fresh tasting but the best part of the whole dining experience is the hot sauce bar. 15 different sauces to try out based on what you like. It's foodie heaven. Also, hats off for serving food with fresh jalapeno instead of canned. If you pay the extra $1.50 for double meat in your burrito, you get it!

Definitely a good new addition to our neck of the woods. I don't know why it took me so long to visit since this location opened a few months ago, but I'm glad we stopped in recently. The dining room was clean and well kept, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our food was delivered promptly. The taco salads are insanely huge (gotta love the tortilla bowl too), and my husband was happy with his carnitas burrito. I'm sure we'll be back very soon!

My new found love! Tijuana Flats is everything and more that I would have expected. The food is absolutely awesome! The service is definitely the best I have ever received at any food establishment. The girls are very helpful with refilling drinks and create an inviting atmosphere. Tijuana Flats gets an A++

Spontaneous visit as I had some time to kill before an appointment. This was my first Tijuana Flats visit and I was not disappointed. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by the girl working behind the counter. I ordered my food, which she was very helpful to me and also patient since I was not really 100% sure how they operated. I took a seat at one of the tables and my food was brought to be shortly after. When they dropped off my food they asked if I wanted/needed anything else. The hot sauce bar was my next stop. There were about 12 selections (which for me is more than enough). My tacos were nice. All in all I was. Good visit. The good was good and it came out fast. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is small, but well maintained and clean. I will go back!!!

I usually go to the TF on Tampa road but since this one opened up I've tried here a few times for the convenience. What a mistake. The interior is like most locations except a little smaller than most. The staff is very friendly and charming. The food on the other hand... Stingy on the meat fillings. I usually get flautas and I'll usually take a bite or two and there no filling left but a hefty excess of fried tortilla left. Disappointing. Way too much oil as well. I can still the the oil shine on the surfaced. Don't even get me started when I use my hands. I feel like I need to use a napkin to squeeze or absorb the oil out of the food. I think I'll go back to the Tampa location from this point forward.

Excellent food and service was great. The chips were fresh and hot! Many varieties to choose from including sweet to very hot sauces. Wait staff was friendly and very helpful. Prices were very reasonable less than $20 for two people. We will be back!

Excellent food and the girls in there hussle to keep the place clean! Taco Tuesday is very reasonable. I had the wheat tortillas with blackened chicken. It was delicious. You can't beat the huge selection of sauces. Definitely recommend!

Meh it was okay. The girl behind the counter was not helpful. I asked what was in the burrito because I had never been there she points to a sign on the register & said "this". Inside my head "okay sunshine" it read olives, jalapeños, lettuce, tom, beans & onion. Asked for a veggie burrito no beans & extra lettuce. She rudely asked what sized I said I'm not sure a normal size? Never had a size option on a burrito so I was thrown off. We sit down the food comes there's beans in my burrito & a pleasant surprise of rice which miss sunshine forgot to mention. I will try this place again only because my boyfriend loves it but if that girl is there & rude again I'm asking for a manager.

BOO T flats. You have turned into a huge disappointment! I have been a regular customer here for a long time, and I always ordered the minijuana chicken burrito with black olives, among other toppings. Topped with the sauce bar it was always excellent and plenty of food, even for being mini. However, the last two times I tried to go here have been disappointing. Last time my uncle and I went for lunch and asked for black olives on our burritos. They informed us they do not have them anymore as nobody ever ordered them. Well he and I both like them, so there is at least two people. Tonight, I decided to give it another shot, overlooking the olive incident. I called to order my usual, and was informed that they no longer offer the mini burrito. The next size up is way too much for me, and it would not make a good leftover meal. However, when I told the cashier I would like to cancel my order Due to the burrito being too big, she just said "okay you got it". Did not even offer to check with the manager and see if they would make a smaller one. I know it would not be impossible for them to simply make me a smaller burrito even though it is no longer on the menu, but no attempts were made at saving my order or my business. I'm pretty bummed out with them at this point, and would likely only return for taco Tuesday In the future... And even then only when I'm craving tacos on the go

I had a great experience at this location. I usually go to the location on Belcher, and the quality of food was just as excellent at this location as it is at the Belcher location. I have to say though, this location is SUPER tiny and they don't offer nearly as many hot sauces due to the size of the building. Also, when I went to get some of the hot sauces that I like, 3 out of 5 were empty. I think it can be chalked up to it being a brand new location and the organization is still being worked out. You've got to give every new company a bit of time to work through the beginning stages of establishment. For that reason I gave it 4 stars, if it were a larger building, and a little more organized (which I'm sure it will be soon) I'd give it 5 stars. But even with the building being small, it's still nice to have it there.

The Staff is usually really awesome. Seriously, they are some of the friendliest and happiest people I've ever seen in my life. Unfortunately, the food is kinda meh. Which is disappointing, because this place would be heaven if the food was better.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
