Only one star because they don't give the option of no stars!!!! Poorest excuse of a "gay bar" I've ever seen coming from a straight girl I feel bad for the gay community of this is what Clearwater has to offer!! Bartender is rude with no personality!! They have a measured shot system which = weak shitty drinks!!! For a Thursday night they had 8 people before we got there!! Bar gloomy and no fun!! After attempting to talk to bartender he opened up and had a personality! Gave advice about the area.

This has been my hangout for many many years. The bartenders know what I want before I sit down. And they sit down and rap with you if they have a minute. Yeah, it's a bar you can smoke in, and it's never a guaranteed GREAT time, but it's a lovely neighborhood watering hole that welcomes everyone. If you are looking for the trendiest place to go.....probably not for you. If you are looking for a great place to meet some quite interesting people and have a couple of beers.....This is perfect. No matter your preference.

Despite what people say , this is the best gay bar in pinellas county . It s the best . All those bad reviews are just haters. This place has served as a haven for all the glbt population for decades and will continue too . For those who know what im talking about ..... MURRRRRR !

This bar is empty every night. There are metered pourers so if you want a good drink, you need to buy two. It opened in 1976 and nothing has been updated, replaced, or cleaned since. There is no lock on the bathroom door. There is more smoke than people in this place. Some of the bartenders are cool so they probably won't work there long. There are no fresh faces In the bar, just regulars so it's hard to me new people here. Go somewhere else.

I'm a huge fan of the Pro Shop. It's a gay bar in Clearwater and for years it was my home bar. The bartenders are great, Steve and Chris especially. They throw awesome parties at the holidays and the prices are very reasonable. There is always someone to talk to. Everyone is very friendly. I'm a woman, married to a man, and my husband comes with me to the Pro. The Pro was the first gay bar he ever went to and he was so surprised. There was a football game on the TV for him to watch and good prices on beer. He has no problem going back with me now when I visit.

Great place for a drink and a friendly evening. I love going out here the drinks are reasonably priced and the people are friendly especially the manager Stephen.
