Excellent gyros with great weekday deals. You can see them carve the gryo meat right behind the front bar. Simple and straight forward. If you like gryos, its a 5 for sure!

Had dinner here because Clearwater beach eating places were packed. Very close to the beach (within a few minutes drive). Mr. Submarine has some excellent choices prepared on a hot grill to order. The staff was very polite. The gyros was delicious. Interior was a little dated, but the food was great. You have got to try this restaurant out whether you are visiting or live here.

Great subs, great gyros, great staff. What more could you ask for from a sub shop? Everything is made-to-order and fresh. Some of the best bread in downtown Clearwater. The place may not look it from the outside, but its clean on the inside and the owner takes pride in his establishment. I recommend the Italian Sub, the Gyro with fries, and the Fried Mushrooms. The Dolmades are pretty damn good, too.
