The macaroons delightful. This mall location is a quiet oasis in a busy shopping mall. The Belgian Chocolate was rich in flavor yes light and airy. The mint tasted as if the mint bush was growing out back, fresh like a meadow. This is a sophisticated spot that is fun for families and friends.

Cute little place in the mall full of deliciousness. They have gelato or beautifully crafted chocolates in addition to the macarons. I enjoyed the flavor selection and it was fun to try some out of the ordinary flavors. Delicious macarons. There was no taste to sea salt caramel. Whatever expectations you have for that or will be let down. Basil white chocolate was interesting...tasted exactly like what it said it was. I would suggest trying pistachio and rose. Rose would go great with some hot tea!

No matter what location I am at. I cannot just walk pass this pink laced store. Macarons are my favorite treats ever and if you haven't tried them before please do. They are so delicate that I feel fancy eating them, and they all taste good! My personal favorites are the basil and white chocolate, pistachio, Madagascar black vanilla, and Belgian chocolate. They look simple enough, but can be one of the toughest pastry to make. You have to be very precise to create these amazing macarons. The shells are light and airy, they also give a great soft crunch while the center is semi chewy. The filling makes most of the flavoring as the shells are made up of almond powder.

When I heard a while back that Le Macaron was opening one of their shops at Countryside Mall, I couldn't have been more excited. Before this location, I used to make special trips to Tampa to get my fix. Now these delicious little treats are only a fifteen minute drive away. Le Macaron's shop is located on the second floor of the mall, across from the movie theater. After watching a matinee, the next logical idea is to get a tasty treat, right? That was my thought process today, so I dropped by for a bite (or two...or three). At their shop they sell, you guessed it, macarons. If you're expecting a wide array of baked goods, you won't find it here. But if you're looking for macarons in a variety of drool-worthy flavors, then this is the place to be. I, myself, picked three flavors: Salted Caramel, Madagascar Black Vanilla, & Rose. I'm not a professional food critic, but here's one thing I know for sure: the taste of these sweets really took me somewhere. The Rose flavor was fragrant and light, like nestling your nose into a bouquet of roses and inhaling deeply. It's Valentine's day in a bite-sized package. The Salted Caramel reminds me of winter, and all of the rich flavors of the holidays. The caramel is highlighted perfectly, swirled with just a touch of salt to round out the taste. And let's not forget the Madagascar Black Vanilla. Others would be tempted to shorten its name to vanilla, but that would never do this flavor justice. The vanilla bean taste is so complex and creamy that it doesn't just melt into your mouth...you melt into it. If you've never tried a macaron before, I suggest that you have your first experience here. You won't regret it.

A unique shop that sells specialty dessert items across from the Movie theaters in Countryside mall, Le Macaron is a sweet stop. Gluten free, the treats are delicious, fresh and very colorful. They're also not cheap. $13(with tax) for 6 of the half dollar sized "cookies". But they are light and tasty, and just the right size for you to pop in your mouth or enjoy with a capuccino. They also sell some of the prettiest chocolates I've ever laid eyes on. Hand painted, custom flavored confections that would put a smile on anyone's face if they got them for a holiday gift.

Believe it or not, I have never had a macaron until today. I've seen too many posts lately with these delectable looking little treats and was very curious on what they tasted like. So, when I remembered that they have a store in the countryside mall, I told myself I can't forget to stop in after my shopping. I'll say the store is really nice, clean and well kept. There are 3 cases. One filled with macarons, the other with chocolates , and another with gelato. There might be more , but those are the things I noticed because I was pretty much fixated on the macarons. They looked almost too pretty to eat. The girl working the store was nice and friendly. When I told her that I had never tried macarons before she gave me a lot of really great suggestions, including her favorites, and customer favorites. She also described a lot of the different fillings that each one had which was really helpful. I Chose 6. As soon as I got in my car I told myself I was only going to try 2 for now, and before I knew it, I was popping them like popcorn, but slow Popcorn. For 13.50 a box.. Shit, I had to savor the flavor just a little bit more. I ate all of them before I was able to reach home. Surprise, surprise:-)Well, I had to or else I wouldn't be able to give a proper review here;-) My standout flavors were Lemon, Pistachio, and Coconut. Every single one of those flavors I would rate even in deliciousness. I also chose Vanilla, Mango, and Salted Caramel. I will definitely be back for another box of new flavors to try. These would make a great side addition for a small gift or gift in itself depending how many u get.

the macarons were pretty good but I had the idea that it was actually more of a french bakery like others mentioned. the gelato/ice cream was exceptional. I enjoyed the concept and it's great to see something different besides your typical cinnabons and auntie Anne's.

Try the Lavender gelato!! It is too good! The cookies are so delicious... The owners are friendless and inviting.

This plays basically sells macaron's and a handful of different chocolates. It's a very specific desert and a limited one. I was hoping for more of a French bakery. Everyone was nice and I eventually found it in the Westfield mall but I ended up eating at the ice cream place across they way.

Hubby loves these! Im not a fan of them. However, the gelato is very tasty. The flower flavored one is the best, I think it was lavender. Hmmm just the thought makes me wanna go get some now. However, Kinda pricey. The chocolates are hand made one by one and just beautiful! Not sure I could eat em they were so pretty.
