Hmm, where to begin... First, I want to say that the food wasn't that bad, it was average. We went for lunch and decided to have some salads and appetizers. The tzatziki arrived, it was tasty but the small scoop we received was not proportionate for the $5 price tag attached to it. Strike one. Second, when my horiatiki salad arrived I noticed that it didn't quite look like what I am used to. Something was missing. Ah, there were no kalamata olives. I asked our server to see the menu again so I could read the ingredients listed for the salad, I wanted to make an informed inquiry as to why my salad had no olives, and saw that I was missing my olives. When the server passed by again I asked for the absent olives and he promptly returned with a small dish of them. A few bites later I realized something else was missing. Ah, no pepperoncinis. I still had the menu with me and rechecked the ingredients and saw that they also were a missing ingredient. When our server came by again I pointed out the pepperoncini shortage. He again apologized and then returned with two, 2, yes, T-W-O 2 pepperoncinis and informed me that he was informed by the kitchen that pepperoncinis do not come with the horiatiki salad but he brought me a couple anyway. That is when I handed him back the menu and said take that to the kitchen. Upon his return the server let us know that the chef said the pepperoncinis do not come... and after that all I heard was "Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah"! THAT was strike TWO. Now, here I am with my piece-mealed salad, the pepperoncinis were awful by the way, and we are finishing our lunch, not quite finished but getting there, and the server goes to pick up my friend's plates and it was obvious that there was something still left. At this point I started to feel rushed, not that I really wanted to delay my departure any longer than the time required to finish my lunch. I was already not having a good time. Then, whilst we are still eating the server asks "are you going to want any coffee or anything else or should I just bring your receipt?" Um, not that I was going to have DESSERT or "anything else" that would have given the kitchen another opportunity to insult my intelligence but, I guess the server wasn't sales oriented, or very service oriented. I wasn't in Waffle House, the check doesn't go down on the table before the meal is over let alone ask if the guest is "going to want anything else" so the receipt can be brought. Strikes THREE and FOUR. Conclusion: This was a bad first time experience. The food ordered did not come as advertised. The "Chef", if he is one, doesn't know his own printed menu. The food didn't suck but it didn't impress. The service didn't totally suck but it didn't impress either. In these tough economic times one has to be careful how one spends his hard earned dollars. We don't dine out very much due to tight finances. I wish we had just driven to Tarpon Springs and had the real thing, the total Greek Experience. Today I feel that I just gambled away $47.00 and the house won.

Avoid at any cost, not a good option for authentic Greek food. And the service is just as lousy!

My fiance and I live down the street from this restaurant, so we drive past all the time, we found it every interesting that there was always cars parked out front and that the cars where always very expensive to say the least. So we thought there has to be something really good about this place, or wealthy people just like to park in their parking lot. We where pleasantly surprised to find that Greek Town Grille has some of the nicest people that work there, the inside of this place is just amazingly put together all the colors and decor makes for a great atmosphere. We went for lunch the first time and we both ordered the chicken pitas, my fiance got fries for his side and I got lemon roasted potatoes. The pitas come with tomato, white onion, chicken and taztziki sauce. The sauce it so fresh and creamy, we loved every bite of the pitas and my roasted potatoes where divine. We told the waitress this was our first time, she told us we should come back on the weekends they have salsa dancing and a live band. We have been back two other times for dinner and it was just as amazing, but we are yet to do any salsa dancing. The only reason I gave four stars over five is that the last time we where there the waitress was very cold and seemed to have other tables that where more important. I will go back for sure but I hope the service stays on the up and up. If you love Greek food I would recommend Greek Town Grille.

Great food, a vey nice but yet very comfortable atmosphere. Not your typical Greek food diner. Always excellent service and plenty of food. If you like the Greek lemon soup then it is amuse have. Nothing out of a can or freezer at this restaurant.

Excellent ! Friendly staff. Great pricing and delicious food. This is fastly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. THe Paros pasta is my favorite. The Gyro Platter is also good and a huge portion. Also, I believe they have the best green beans I have ever tasted (made with dill, mmmmm).

I did go to that restaurant with my family for dinner and I regret the $80 dollars I paid. I did go to the bathroom and the same time one of the kitchen staff walk out of the restroom without to wash his hands!!!!!!!! I inform the owner but I did not receive any response. Also our food was cold and I told to the waiter and the response was, not much I can do but I will tell to the owner. We never receive any response form the owner. I do not recommend that restaurant to anyone. Nick

Excellent! Food was the best (or close to) it that I have had in the States! Ask for Richard, service was excellent... Air conditioning felt like it wasn't working, may have even been cooler outside ~ but everything else was top notch & well worth the effort! Try it ~ believe you will be glad you did! Will certainly go back!

I went to Greek Town for dinner this evening. I really wanted to try their grilled Octopus tentacles (they call it Kalamari). I saw it on their TV ad and it look so good! I came with five other friends and we were not disappointed with our experience! I had for the appetizer the bacon wrapped scallops which were delicious! My dinner was yes! the grilled octopus tentacle I had seen on their TV ad! My friends had various other appetizers but had high compliments for the bruschetta! My entree was the Kalamari which was as I expected good as I saw on TV. Our server was John a very nice articulate and amiable personable server. The highlight of the evening was Jay the manager. Jay although very busy with his managerial duties was able to check on us throughout the evening to ensure we had a pleasurable experience at his establishment as it was the first time for all six of us there this evening. After dinner we adjourned to the outside dining area for cocktails! Very beautiful outside dining area. There are four large flat screen TVs. There are also four large speakers which played music as we had our cocktails there. Jay the very accomodating manager he is turned the baseball game on with no problems to lend to a very relaxing, inviting after dinner experience. For all six of us we had the most pleasurable dining experience a party would want. I highly recommend this establishment for singles, couples, large parties! You will not be disappointed!

We dine here about every other month (close to home) and normally, the food and the service is outstanding! However, last visit was 100 % the opposite. We came in on a Sunday around 5 and had the most disappointing experience. The waiter seem harried and scatterbrained, our party was somewhat large, but he missed half the order. The food was dried out (no sauce on the gyros) and overcooked. Portions seemed alot smaller too. We're gonna give them another try. Never on a Sunday though...!

It's hard to find excellent food in Clearwater...but this place comes through. One entree and one appetizer EASILY feeds two. Extremely friendly service and incredibly reasonable prices with many tasty options.

We went to the Greek Town Grille because we heard they were offering half price dinners during August to celebrate anniversary. It also happened to be $2 margarita night, so we got a couple of those to start. They were good, but they came in two different sized glasses, which was a little weird. My hubby and I both got dinner specials to share- I got the lamb shank and he got the gyro platter and greek salads. The salad was good (although it was $3 extra) and the dinners were both great! The gyro was excellent- it came with plenty of yummy sauce and the lamb shank was perfectly tender and well seasoned. It came with orzo which was also good. Our server was good- up until the very end when he didn't give us the special price on the gyros. We pointed it out and he offered to fix it but it took him quite a while to get it figured out. Other than that, he was good, very polite and attentive. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and a cute little outside area that would be great for getting drinks or dining when it's not too hot.

Wow, wide a slide from an awesome restaurant with wonderful service to below mediocrity! I can hardly believe the change. Just left - Sunday night. Should have been a nice and quiet dinner but service was non existent, the food was either not avail, delayed, half served. Let me give tangible examples - sat for nearly 15 min post ordering before bread arrived. Basket was about 1/3 full - 4 pieces for 3 people. While it was warm and smelled wonderful, the dipping sauce was not brought at same time nor was butter? Waitress indicated it would be coming and it was another more than 15 min before it finally arrived. Salads came and we asked for more bread which never materialized. The entrees came with the comment that we are out of vegetables so chef gave 2 helpings of rice? Who needs two helpings of rice....kebabs had no vegetables other than onions....no tomato, no peppers? What gives? Asked for manager and he took 10+ min to show and no apologies, said he would talk to chef and come back and did not~ Will absolutely NOT go back and will shout from every forum to share this awful experience. I and my family have been loyal supporters from their opening but this is not acceptable under any circumstances.

Sorry to say...we will not be going back to the GRILL. Upon walking to the restaurant, we passed through the patio smoking crowd....overwhelming....hurried to get in out of the smoke. Upon entering expecting relief from the foul air...we get hit with the same smoke filled smelly air. Thinking that people were now smoking inside..I asked the waiter what was going on. He pointed to the large garage door window that separates the bar from the outside...it was wide open allowing the disgusting stench to permeate the inside. So much for non-smoking. Now I can understand with the nice cool air the GRILL trying to save some money on electric but come-on....not at your patrons expense. Suck it up and keep the doors CLOSED or make the outside area no smoking as well! We tried getting a table as far away from the bar as possible...but to our amazement the GRILL decided to also open their rear door leading to the back parking lot as well.....nice sucking air tunnel guys. People were standing out there smoking as well. Come On!!! Now lets talk about the food. Grape leaves..excellent, Salad and lemon soup...always delish. Entrée was athenian chicken....oops not so good. They were busy and it took forever to get the food...more time to be tortured by the smoke!......the portions were small on a big plate..chicken was very dry and the rice was non- existent.....way over priced for what we got. The wait staff here are great...

Everything there is first class . The lamb chops are divine! Cloth napkins , excellent Bloody Mary, and salads extraordinaire. Service was real old country style with real Greek family. Decor and ambience the best! Best all around restaurant in Clearwater hands down!

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally checked it out a couple of months ago. I've been back three times since. I love the Athenian Chicken entree. One of my friends got the dolmades appetizer and it was a generous portion and tasted great. The side greek salad is a very small portion, but tastes fantastic. The service there has always been pleasant, but sometimes slow. I tend to go here when I don't have to be in a rush. The one time I came and needed to be at an appointment at a certain time, I was alone and sat at the bar so that I could better control my service experience.

Pleasant, clean interior. Service was friendly and attentive, but slow. Food was very good, but not great - although the Dolmades were exceptional. Menu quite large, with a good variety of choices.

Greektown grille is a fabulous restaurant owned by a local family right in the heart of downtown clearwater. I will say they are not really in the best part of town, but the environment here is nice and the food is great so it makes it worth it. They offer indoor seating in an environment that's upscale yet comfortable and the lighting and decor here is great. There's outdoor seating under a patio as well for those who prefer. The food here has always been good. I have previously gone on my lunch break and was able to enjoy lunch yet still get done quick enough to make it back to work. They offer some decent lunch specials including typical meals like a gyro with greek salad or an avgolemono/side salad option. Both were tasty and the perfect light lunch. For dinner, I've tried the grilled octopus, which isn't my favorite meal to begin with, I just ordered it because my friend wanted to try it, but it wasn't bad overall. The lamb is fabulous here, very tasty and tender. They have a few special events throughout the week, including some buy 1 get one offers on certain dinners as well as drink specials on beer and wine. They also have greek dancing here sometimes too, very fun! I will come back again.

Delicious food! The decor could improve a bit... It didn't really scream Greek Restaurant to me but the layout of the building is gorgeously elegant. The prices are decent for a fancy restaurant, you get what you pay for. The food is creative, nicely poised, and crafted. Its delicious and aesthetically pleasing! The servers are polite and easy to talk to. I give this newly renovated and opened restaurant 4 stars!! Great job!!!

Average restaurant. My service was fine. Went twice. Waiters attentive. I'm a vegan so that limits what I can eat here. Their Spanakopita (Flaky Spinach Pie) was not the best I've ever had. I had their Falafel and some veggies and was satisfied. Not bad. Nothing particularly exceptional that sticks in my mind. But probably great for your average person wanting a bite.

  • Shauna S.

Kind of torn on this one. Food was very good - the moussaka was some of the best I've ever had - but the service was just so weird and confusing that I can't give them the 4 stars they probably deserve. Walking in the place looked very promising...super clean and nicely decorated with newer furnishings. For some reason though our server Alba seemed irritated with us from the beginning. Now, I wasn't there when the first half of our party arrived so perhaps something happened before I got there that set her off. We were a party of nine and I realize that big parties aren't always a server's favorite - notoriously poor tippers and I get that, so maybe that was it. We did ask for separate checks and I'm sure a table of women (ages 50 - 89) isn't exactly a server's dream date, but still that doesn't seem to warrant her odd behavior the entire stay. It felt as if from the outset she was almost...well...angry with us and it never got better. To my knowledge everyone was polite and nice to her so I'm not sure what made her dislike us so much but that was the vibe. We were given plates and olive oil for bread, but no bread. No biggie to me but some of the ladies were really wanting bread so when she didn't come back I finally got up and asked her nicely (I thought) if bread normally comes with the meal and she said well yes...but at lunch we have to ask for it. Oh...OK...not sure how we were to supposed to have known this.. but whatever. Weird. I said if there is a charge for it that's fine...you can put it on my check. She said no there was no charge. OK....Other tables were receiving bread almost immediately upon being seated so they either were regulars who had the secret code or just happened to get a server who thought it would be nice to let newcomers in on the lunchtime bread rules. Anyway, once I got up and requested it, she brought the bread right away, one basket and one small herb dish for the entire table (we had three tables pushed together). One of the group requested butter which eventually came with our meals. When it came the bread was hot and fresh with a great herb mix for the olive oil. Lunch came fairly soon for such a large group. The moussaka was absolutely delicious - creamy bechamel custard atop a really good ground beef sauce and the eggplant layer was perfect - buttery and tender and melt in your mouth. The luncheon size for $9.99 was just perfect size, served with a small Greek salad, included. The salad wasn't "wow" but it was fresh and cold and nicely done with the signature scoop of potato salad (I'm told it's a Clearwater thing). A bottomless Diet Coke added $2.99 to my meal which is ridiculous of course, but that's a whole other topic. Maybe it was all the grumbling about the bread, but we had barely finished our meals when she brought our tickets and placed them on the table next to each of us. No query as to whether we wanted coffee or dessert. Or a box for leftovers. Or a refill of our beverage. Or more bread. Now this was one of those ladies who lunch things and I can be certain that all nine would have ordered coffee and a good half of the table would have ordered at least a baklava...but when she unceremoniously brought the checks we just thought fine, forget it. She missed out on probably at least another $100 in sales. I mean this kid wanted us out of there! Just here's your ticket...get out. And to my knowledge she never said thank you once to an individual or the group. Everyone got out their payment; some cash, some plastic. This is weird too...she took the tickets 1 or two at a time. This made me think maybe she was just inexperienced...I've seen long time professional wait staff pick up a dozen or more tabs all at once and keep them straight. She never did come for mine...I had to wave down someone else to make sure I paid for my meal. All in all I would go back but I would not suggest this place for large parties. They either don't like them or find them cumbersome or whatever. But I will take my husband there for dinner sometime so he can try the moussaka. At any rate Alba may just need some coaching...big parties CAN be quite lucrative if you play it right! I will be back...but this bunch, who lunches out regularly each month, probably will not be returning to Greektown Grille.

My wife gale and I ate here for at least the 10th time last week. She always gets the platter which has a generous offering of 4 different Greek dishes and loves it. I tried the lamb shank which was absolutely scrumptious. At first I thought the portion was skimpy and said so to gale, but as it turned out I didn't finish it. The beautiful decor, excellent lighting, easy access and location all add up to a fine restaurant experience. It is located in one of the more active intersections of downtown Clearwater, Cleveland street an Missouri avenue. The staff is well trained and attentive. I have recommended Greektown grille to many friends with good results.

We found this place by accident while in town for business and we were thrilled with the 3 times we are here in one week. They have THE best moussaka I have ever had, it's even better than my mothers! The place is beautiful and the service is great! Now that we love in FL we will be going here all the time!

My five stars is for their awesome octopus appetizer dish and their lamb dishes! It's really delicious and the octopus is crispy and tender. Their cheese is very rich and the lamb chops are very good. I do not have a lot of Greek food, but my experiences here were great the few times I have been. I am sure they could be even better but the octopus definitely got me

Delicious meal. I really enjoyed the saganaki (flaming cheese) appetizer which was big enough for 4 to share. I somehow managed to finish my entree, the traditional Greek sampler platter (dolmades, pastichio, moussaka, gyro meat, and lemon potatoes). This was followed by a generous (shareable) helping of baklava! The portions were substantial; our server, Spiro, was very helpful to us in making menu selections and was just delightful and charming!!! We scored a free glass of wine by checking in on Yelp...a fantastic meal for around $20 a person (minus tip). I highly recommend this restaurant!

Today I went to Greek Town Grille for the first time in a year. Their food was still good. I could really taste the freshness and quality of their seafood. Both Solomos (salmon) and shrimp kebab were great. They give you generous portions. Service could be a little better but no complaints. I might come back again.

Went to Greektown Grille for lunch with my family and another family. Would be great for a date, but also fine for kids, too. Saganaki was yummy. Chicken pita nad pork pitas were both juicy and tasty. I wish I could have had a greek salad as a side instead of fries. Maybe I could have--I see someone else posted a photo of exactly that. I should have asked! Pitas came with fries--I ordered mine Greek style and they were good. Others had Mediterranean pasta and octopus. They were happy with both of those choices, too. Nice atmosphere--you can tell they made the effort to make it look authentic and very pretty. Services was good.

I went in to grab a to-go order. I seated myself at the bar and did not receive very good customer service. The bartender was ignoring me half the time or eating at one of the tables in the back. I ordered the falafal sandwich. Horrible...the fries were soggy and greasy. The falafel were still raw inside. I will never eat there again.

One of the better Greek restaurants in the area. Nicely decorated, with extensive menu of Greek dishes. We tried the flaming Greek cheese appetizer, that was very good but possibly no longer offered aflame due to a recent flambe accident in an area restaurant. Their hummus and other apps were quite good and I loved the avgolemono soup. Can't recall specific entrees, but probably included Greek salad & spanikopita, standard test dishes for Greek places. Do recall enjoying the meal overall and deciding we should return to try more. Service was fine and we left happy we live in an area richly endowed with Greek restaurants and cooks.

I've been wanting to try this place. I've had much better. The Gyro platter was kind of dry. The wait staff was kind and patient. Service was pretty quick. The chicken on my wife's salad was moist, tender, and tasteless. Theres a check in offer for a free glass of wine with an entree, but they would only give us one, and we both checked in. At the end of the meal, they were going to give us another glass of wine, but my wife was already full by then. I heard the owner say "I don't even know what a yelp is!". Lol. The interior is very nice, bathrooms and dining areas were clean, and the noise level was low, I like the atmosphere here.

  • Maegan G.

I can't write to the atmosphere of this place as we did take out. I felt it was expensive for what we got. The pita bread and Gyro "dip" was delicious. The stuffed peppers were bland. Our order was messed up and we got a Gyro, being vegetarians, we took out the meat and ate the bit of veggies and dressing in the pita bread, which was also delicious. Due to the mix-up they gave us free baklava and another dessert I was unfamiliar with, both were awesome. Potato and leek soup was good, too! I will try them again, at the restaurant so we can experience it.

Takeout here is terrible! Called in 2 lunch orders to go. Arrived to find that they dont do lunch to go, so they charged me dinner prices for appetizer size food. They even got my order wrong. When I expressed displeasure, the guy shrugged and did nothing to fix it. Total fail. I've had good dinners here, but don't try their takeout.

What a GREAT place! We go there all the time for lunch and dinner! I also had my baby shower there and was very happy with the service and attention Greek Town employees provided to my family and all guests :-) Greek Town has beautiful decor and such a nice indoor/outdoor open bar - absolutely love it!

We loved this place. I'm a vegan and they made me a grilled portobello with red peppers and lemon roasted potatoes and spinach. It was delish. My boyfriend had lamb chops and my sister had a gyro. All of us were very happy with the food and the service, and the server was very helpful in making sure we made good choices off the anniversary menu - which saved us about $60.

Our first time at Greek Town Grille started out great, but after our 2 hour meal we were ready to leave. When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes for the hostess to get to the podium, the interior was very clean and nice. Once we were seated we were informed that on Thursdays all bottles of wine are half off. Obviously we couldn't pass up this deal. I also noticed that a number of appetizers are half off before 6. Looks like this place could be a good Thursday happy hour! Fresh Greek bread was brought to our table and I asked our server for napkins (meaning silverware, since we had none) to which he kept bringing us cocktail napkins. We ordered our entrees which both came with choice of soup or salad. Once we got our salads we this time made sure to specify that we would like silverware with our napkins. He brought silverware and plates for the bread over (that would have been nice while we were eating the bread). Salad was a typical Greek salad nothing stood out, but it was fresh and tasty. For an entree I ordered Dolmades and my husband ordered the Athenian Chicken. Choice of side, mistakingly I went for the green beans, they weren't crispy as I hoped so I didn't eat them. My dolmades were excellent though and a good sized serving of them. My husbands chicken was perfectly grilled, but a little more of the sauce would have been nice. I ordered a slice of baklava to go which was delivered quickly to the table and this is where the waiting began. I understand we were still finishing our bottle of wine, maybe he was trying not to rush us, but getting our check and paying took forever! At least a 30 minute process. Our server dropped the check off and then come back 10 minutes later to collect it, went to process it, turns out they don't take Discover, 10 minutes later he drops it back off at our table we give him a new card, 10 minutes later he is finally back for us to sign for it. While there was some waiting involved this is a place I would want to come back to for happy hour. There was a party going on outside, but it looked like a nice place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks and appetizers.

Good food, rough visit. They were short handed the day we visited so service was slow. When we finally did get our food, it was excellent. Bacon wrapped scallops and a Greek salad, a gyro platter and a steak flatbread sandwich were all worth the wait. I'd love to visit again when they're running on all cylinders.

Used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Sadly, this will be our last visit. Service was horrible. What a shame. Food was marginal. There was literally a tablespoon of potato salad on my Greek Salad. We will be cutting up our frequent diner card. Good thing we had a coupon for tonight.

My daughter and I just had the most miserable experience we've ever had in a restaurant - it even beat the first miserable experience we had there. This goes to show you how the help can ruin a restaurant. What could have been a fine dining experience ended up in my daughter having a dificult time eating. It's hard to describe how ugly this experience was so I'll go step-by-step. 1) When we walked in, there was no one to tell us where to sit though the restaurant inside was empty. A waiter came over and I asked if they had their lunch specials on Saturday. Perhaps this started us off wrong. Once we sat down he took our drink order saying he was going to deliver some bills - I guessed at the outside seating. We waited about 10 mins for him to do that though we were really hungry. 2) After we ordered, we waited another 10 mins with no bread served and I said to my daughter, "Don't come here if you're really hungry" which a waitress heard and looked up - I repeated it to her and got no visible reaction. 3) When the waiter brought our food accompanied by the waitress, he said, "Somebody back there told me that you're hungry but I can't crank out the food myself or something to that effect. 4) The salad had no dressing - only oil was on the table. When we asked for it - the waiter said - "oh, they left it off." He got some but by this time my daughter refused to eat it for fear he'd spit in it. 6) My daughter finally spoke up to the waiter that he was making her uncomfortable - instead of an apology for leaving off the dressing we got his attitude and justification. 7) She left the restaurant early because I said I was going to say something. He brought the bill and I told him that was the most uncomfortable lunch we had ever had. He asked, "What made you the most uncomfortable?" Insolent, beligerant and downright nasty, he started to explain away my complaint. I told him I was not going to listen to his excuses and he asked if I would like to see the manager. I said I would but then found myself waiting for the manager. Finally I walked to the cashier with cash in hand and asked to speak to the manager. Someone came up and asked if she could help me and looked at the cash I was holding - ready to take my money but not ready to give me the respect and good service due a customer. I asked if she was the manager - she wasn't but she wasn't. I was so angry by that time that I walked out wthout paying the bill with her yelling after me. 8) We're both sorry to lose a restaurant with good food - but the nasty miserable service is a reflection of management and that's death to a restaurant. It just isn't worth going there. At best, never go if you're really hungry or you don't know someone on the inside - hopefully that will save you one miserable experience.

Greek Town Grille is one of our favorite restaurants. We can always count on good food and pretty good service. They often have specials on their appetizers on certain days, 1/2 off, so I have 2 of those while my husband has his favorite dinner. I highly recommend the restaurant and recommend dining in rather than take out. The one time we ordered take out it just was not the same.

First time here and the food and service were great. We came on a Tuesday so the appetizers were half off. Food was awesome and the prices were reasonable. Also, checked in on yelp and got a free glass of wine. I will definitely be back!

Remarkably elegant considering the reasonable prices. All of the dishes were at least very good. The chicken kebab was a standout. I wouldn't have ordered it, fearing that it would be dry, but a companion did and it was remarkably moist and interestingly seasoned. Friendly service. The coordination of getting food from the kitchen to a table of five all at exactly the same moment wasn't perfect, so I can see how some of the other reviewers might have been miffed. But on the plus side everything tasted as though it had just come off the grill. The desserts were surprisingly good. I really liked the rice pudding, which is very fluffy. We had a three-year-old with us and the atmosphere was good for families.

I'm Greek and this is one of the best restaurants. Period! The dolmades is perfect. The service is amazing. I will be back soon! Do not miss this restaurant during your stay in the Tampa area. Parking in back is easy. Definitely give it 5 stars.

Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Sadly, no longer. First off, they totally changed the menu. I thought, "ok, let's try something new." The first new thing on the appetizer menu was crab cakes. I was told "they're on the menu, but we dont have them," apparently not just that day, but ever. We went during happy hour which used to have half priced beer/wine and some specials on appetizers, all that is gone. "Happy hour" is now two dollars off a drink and no appetizer specials. Ordered a platter that I used to love only to find that part of the plate is now filled with rice and the meat portions were reduced. We payed 50.00 for a meal for 2, not worth it. Clearwater is short of good restaurants and now another one bites the dust. We were wondering why it looked so empty... I now know why and wont be back.

Crystal and Alyssia at the bar, always take care of us! Very nice ladies, attentive and super friendly and pleasant to talk to. We always enjoy our visits there for dinner! Must go when they are working!

Delish! Went here for lunch and had a lovely time. The staff was friendly and helpful - with our server's recommendation we all loved our lunches. The outdoor seating was great, the food fresh and the location perfect. I'll happily return just for the fried feta.

The short story: We ordered a wide range of dishes including gyro, moussaka, souvlaki, stuffed grape leaves, egg plant, flaming cheese, you name it. The food was solid Greek fair, fresh, and hot. A good experience. Add a free glass of wine for checking in on Yelp and you get 4 stars. Why 5 stars you ask? Spiro was our waiter and he made the evening a perfect party. Opa!

We were seated promptly, given menus and twenty minutes later walked out because no one paid attention to us. No one came to our table once. Very disappointing.

Unbelievably Lousy experience. Two strikes and you are out!!! Before I start, I just want to give you a little background on me. I have bachelor degree in restaurant management as well as operated 12 restaurants over the country. Be aware that I am not a judge mental guest when dinning out - Just bring me good food and good service at a fair price ..0k here goes... This was my second visit there in. 3 years and both experiences were beyond awful . Food was awful and had we not been a party of 40 We would all have walked out. All entrees were pre ordered to ensure the kitchen would deliver all at the same time . Didn't happen some guests were done when others were just receiving their entree. Steaks were so over cooked and tasted like shoe leather( not just a couple but most)The night just got worse as it went on . Service and the management team have no business in the hospitality business. All of our concerns fell upon deaf and ignorant ears. They truly don't care about guest satisfaction . I have never written a restaurant review in 48 years of life and I getting tired of texting this...so I will stop going on. Bottom line is do yourself a favorite...do not go there as you are going to be SO Disappointed. This was by far the worst dining experience that I have ever had in terms of 1,000's.

I've had lunch here a couple times now and both times Greektown Grille has proven to be a solid casual Greek restaurant with friendly service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. I don't know what it is like for evenings and dinner but would expect similar service. If you need a place for lunch in Clearwater, this is definitely a great choice.

Very nice restaurant, clean, nicely decorated, ample parking. Great food. Excellent prices on their appetizers. Many of them are half price from 3-6pm daily and all day Tuesday with a beverage purchase. We had the Greek Fries - tossed with oregano, black pepper and crumbled feta. They were delicious ! Another person in our party had the Dolmades (Ground beef, rice & herbs wrapped in grape leaves with a lemon sauce & fresh dill.) I tried one of the Dolmades and loved them ! The baked garlic shrimp in garlic butter and topped with cheese were tasty. We went back a week later because we couldn't get the taste of those Greek fries out of our minds... This time, we ordered the Shrimp pasta to go - fettuchini tossed in olive oil, garlic and oregano with diced tomatoes, broccoli and jumbo shrimp. That was flavorful and enjoyable for two lunches... Would go here time and time again. In the bar area, they have 2 for 1, wells, calls, top-shelf, wines & beers; all day everyday!!!!! Good place ! They also have an outside area that I think is dog friendly.

I've had amazing Greek food before, so I know what its supposed to taste like. If I never had good Greek food before, I might think that this place was good. Since that was NOT the case, I know better, and I know that this place was not good. The ambiance was nice, the staff was as well, the food was not, unfortunately. I was really looking forward to a nice evening out for some yummy Greek food. Maybe it was just an off night for the chef, but word of advice, don't get the Athenian chicken or the walnut cake. Not the best or even sub-par best "Greek" food I've ever had :(

Great service. Solid food. Nothing here blew me away, but for the price this was an excellent Greek meal. And I always appreciate a place where they flambé the saganaki right at your table. In all, great spot.

What a fantastic place in an up and coming neighborhood in Clearwater. I hope more restaurants like this pop up in the area! The food is very yummy and authentic, reasonably priced and the restaurant has a lot of ambiance as well as a fun and funky decor. Love it!

The Greektown Grille is a classy yet comfortable destination for family celebrations or romantic dinners. As the name suggests, the selections on the extensive menu are Greek with each item listed with the Greek name and description of the dish. For an appetizer, we had the Saganaki Flambe, which is Vlahotiri cheese flambeed right at your table. Several other parties also had this dish and it looked like little volcanoes firing up around the dimly lit restaurant. Spectacular! I had Dolmades, stuffed grape leaves with lemon dill sauce. My husband started with Kalamari char-grilled to perfection and drizzled with olive oil and lemon. He said it's the best he's ever had. The food was superb, the service by our waiter, Jonathan, was top notch. He was attentive, not intrusive and took excellent care of us. Greektown is very attractive, totally accessible, has a covered patio and a large private room for banquets, parties, receptions and meetings. Can't wait to go back!
