This place has been around as long as I can remember, plus has spawned a few other locations, so my family and I decided to finally give them a try. We were not disappointed and even came back for a second visit. Their pizza seems quite unique for our area? I've never really been served this style before. It's cooked in a pan, not totally deep-dish, but much thicker than the thin "NY style" most are probably used to. It's a bit reminiscent of that popular Hut chain's pan pizza, but nowhere near as greasy or oily. The sauce/cheese/toppings are all really good and plentiful. The salads were fresh and top-notch too! The dining atmosphere is also a big personal plus for me. Entering here almost feels like stepping into some forgotten pizza place from my 70's youth, complete with lots of dark wood and even stained glass. I hope it never changes... Even better, their funky exterior always reminds me of some misplaced Alpine village, plucked right out of an old black-and-white Frankenstein movie! All it needs are some angry villagers with torches and pitchforks outside! Looking forward to my next visit!

This is the best pizza in the area. Wonderful crust. The first time we went here it was a little hard to find but it well worth it. We have been here 4 times already and we will keep coming back. You have to try their greek salad and the buffalo shrimp are very good too!

I'm so sorry to write this review because I am in the minority of people who enjoy this place, but honestly the pizza was not good. With 1 star being Dominos pizza (cardboard) and 5 stars being Mellow Mushroom (delicious gourmet pizza), I have to give this place a 2 because the pizza was really bland. We got a simple pepperoni and cheese pizza. I actually had to dissect the pizza to try to figure out if anything had flavor. Definitely not the crust, the cheese seemed pretty good I guess...the sauce was nothing special, not flavorful. I ended up pulling out the ranch to dip the pizza in....when ranch doesn't improve the experience, something is not right. We ate a few pieces each and threw it away because it was not worth "seconds."

Day/time of visit: weekday lunch buffet Atmosphere: casual, kitschy chalet decor (wood beams, gorgeous big wood doors with stained glass, old school vibe) Lunch buffet is nothing sophisticated but a solid pizza and salad buffet. The tomatoes, olives, and feta for the salad are excellent quality. The navy bean soup was exceptional. The pizza was good, especially the spinach and tomato one, but they all seemed to have the same thicker pastry style crust which I'm not a huge fan of (I prefer a thin crispy crust). The buffet also had chicken wings (which were good but a little soggy, like they had been sitting for a while), meatballs, lasagna, and a few other items. Very friendly server. Location is a pain to get to with the cluster that is US 19 construction - the fact they have been able to stay open during the past several years of road construction and recession is a testament to the restaurant!

Have only gotten carry out from here, but the pizza has always been top notch. It's going to be higher than your chain pizza but worth it. Big fan of the sauce and the cheese is great. They don't scrimp on the toppings. Highly recommended.

This place has some of the best tasting pizza ever. They have a great lunch buffet, the only issue is that when they are busy it's hard for them to keep up on the pizza. But everything is always fresh and as odd as it sounds, ask for the soup. It's usually a turkey lemon and it comes with the buffet. It's so yummy! The buffet includes pizza of course as well as lasagna, stuffed shells, wings, sausage and salad. Everything is good here. If you haven't tried it you should. There's a location off 19 in Largo and one off 19 near Countryside. Also one in New Port Richey.

Stopped in yesterday late afternoon for the first time at Country Pizza Inn and wow do I wish I knew about this place sooner! The atmosphere was casual and friendly with a wonderful aroma of Italian sauces, fresh breads and my favorite..Garlic!..I couldn't wait to try their white pizza as I'm a Jersey Girl and haven't been able to find a place that comes even close to northern food, until now!! My awesome waitress, Teresa (also a Jersey Girl!) was attentive, friendly, professional and most of all had the best sense of humor! What a treat to find a place with great food and staff like her! So wishing I lived closer to this restaurant, what a lucky find! Will make a point to visit here again next time I am in the area.

I think this place has changed hands. The last time I was there the food was not nearly as good and I didn't recognize any of the staff.

Excellent Italian lunch Buffett 7 days a week. Pizza, meatballs, sausage, a different pasta dish, calzone, salad fixins, different daily menu items. My favorite is the spinach, feta, tomatoe pizza

Stopped by for brunch on Sunday. They have a great all you can eat buffet offering for $7. The pizza has a light crispy crust with good filling and sauce. The feta, spinach and tomato pizza was pretty good as well as the stromboli and lasagna.

Ugh! I don't know how one can mess something as easy as pizza up, but these people do it. I went there when I had a pizza craving one night. Waited forever (like 45 minutes I think) for my medium pizza (by myself). After a few slices, I decided it wasn't worth bothering with any more. No thanks....I don't need a box either.

I'm actually not a huge fan of their pizza, but I really do LOVE their calzones and strombolis. They use plenty of mozzerella AND ricotta in their calzones which apparently is very hard to find. This isn't even the best part though... the best feature of the calzones there aren't really the calzones themselves..... its the yummy tomato sauce they use! dones't taste as good for the pizza, but damn good for the calzones. try it!

A Clearwater landmark for pizza for over 30 years. I've been coming to this place for at least the last 20 years. They have 4 other locations throughout Pinellas but for me the original is the best. I know I'm not the only one who makes a special trip on Sunday when they serve their awesome Greek avgolemono soup.

The best pizza I've had in a long while. The Buffett is really great. Fresh made food not the cheap Golden Corral type. Wish they were busier as the construction is killing them. Buffett is open 7 days a week. Hope they stay open good food is hard to find.

Their pizza is mine and my family's favorite pizza! I go up north in the summer and when we come home the first place to go is here! We always do take out unless we have company with us. We go to the Countryside location and we are really glad the road construction allows us to enter from an access road rather than from US 19.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large.
