I was perusing the Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market today and had never tried a Knish. I walked past Brooklyn Knish and decided to give it a try. Great plan! I saw the BBQ Mac N' Cheese Knish and thought "Hmm, this sounds carby and amazing", and went for it. Really great. It WAS carby and delicious and, although I had no idea what to expect, it was wonderful. The owner was really nice and didn't mind explaining the dishes. Brooklyn Knish is definitely a spot I would like to try again!

Being a nice Jewish boy from Flushing NY. I can tell you these are very good Knishes. I ordered a few different ones so I can get a variety of flavors. Delicious. This place is take out only. So if your real hungry just eat it in your car

First off - this is not what I consider a restaurant - for sit down or anything else. However, they do make very good Knishes - if you don't know what a knish is you should go and try a potato - the one that all others are measured by. If you like the potato, then try the brisket and potato and then maybe the kasha - all are terrific. Get them to go, place them in your oven for a few minutes and voila - you have a great snack or side dish.

This is a tiny little restaurant on the corner of US19 and Drew, next to Hacienda and Tilted Kilt. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, which is a little inconvenient. The food is decent, although the bread seems a little too thick compared with the stuffing - our experience is that you get more bread and less filling, which is overall less satisfying. The restaurant has only a couple of tables. While most customers seem to grab and go, the lack of space means that if you want to eat there, you may have to wait for a table. The last time we went I ordered the ham and cheese, which I had ordered before and really enjoyed. My husband ordered his own item, and our kids shared a knish. Everything arrived at the same time, but my ham and cheese was still very cold on the inside. They took it back and reheated it. Five minutes later - and still cold on the inside!! They had to reheat it again, and by the time it was brought out, my family had finished their meals. I asked for it to go, got it home - and it was still cold on the inside. Not just room temperature like it had cooled off, but cold like it had just come from the fridge. The filling comes pre-cooked, and I am absolutely baffled at how they failed (twice in a row!) to heat it up properly. Besides that, the food is tasty and the knishes seem to be reasonably priced (an average of $4 for a softball-sized knish). Really can't forgive them for serving cold food, especially with such long wait times while they heated it up, though.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn and have eaten knishes all my life- the potato knish I had at the "Brooklyn Knish " was not that great- it was small and overpriced!! The owner was a bit smug also like he was the only one who could make knishes- get real!!

This is the store front to what started out as a farmers market / festival standard business. Even better here because you can get them fresh and in bulk. You can even special order ahead of time or request the mini knishes usually in batches of a dozen or more. So many choices ! they even have an Indian curry flavored. of course there is the traditional potato, sweet potato, she, spanakopita, broccoli and cheese, and a host of options for carnivores as well. I'm sure I'm missing a few of my favorites - guess it's time to go back. Room to eat in or they heat up fine for several days. They also freeze well. we will often buy a bunch for parties and either cut up the big ones for buy a few dozen minis. fine even if they been frozen a while. of course is always fun to go to the store and get the fresh one right out of the oven and eat it there. you can even brush up on your Yiddish by looking at the phrase guide on the wall

Brooklyn, in the house...this small establishment located in the strip mall across from Bright House Stadium and a take away only...I am a Knish Junkie and whenever in NYC I need to grab one from a street vendor, adding brown mustard and bagging a few to go usually from a hotdog cart. There are two types, first the square knish which seems to be dipped in an egg type batter usually only available in NYC and my favorite. Then, the round Knish, which usually is a pastry type which doesn't come from the street but from a bakery or speciality shop...Brooklyn are the round type, which have a super thick delicate pastry crust in several different varieties. We had the potato and "The Gourmet " (potato, mushroom, goat cheese and truffle oil) The potato was good and worthy to be sold at Hunter Mt., but the gourmet is from another hemisphere...Amazing and a must try! Take a few to the game....

This place is crazy good. I get the breakfast knish on my way to work. Their loaded baked potato knish is also the bomb.

Saw the store when I was in Clearwater but they had already closed for the day. Very excited to see they had a tent at the Wiregrass Ranch event over the weekend. We picked up a few potato knishes (they have a lot to choose from but we went traditional) and they took me back to the delis of NYC. Can't wait to get more. How about a 2nd location in New Tampa or Wesley Chapel?
