My favorite chinese place in the area, actually in central FL! Place to casually dine in or take out. I like that they have cheap lunch/dinner specials, give a lot of food per customer, and family owned. Dinner and lunch is way better to get COMBO meals. Lunch- meat, choice of rice, and can of soda with fortune cookie. Dinner- meat, choice of rice, eggroll. *** $1 extra for lo'mein instead of rice*** **Recommend** Kung pao chicken Happy Family Shrimp w/mixed veggies (brown sauce) Crab ragoons hot&sour soup Family is so nice, I'm a regular(watched their children grow up there) so they usually add free spring rolls when I order a big order! Couple years they added a little side area where they sell items I believe the wife makes.

For NY transplants, the unassuming Winn-Dixie plaza in Fern Park has two treasures. One is the truly authentic NY Pizza where you can walk in to get a great slice....the other is China Feast, what I would probably consider the closest to a Chinese kitchen that we'd find up on Long Island. I used to frequent China Feast several years ago when I worked on 17-92. This is your usual $5.25 lunch special (free can of soda) place where consistency ruled...always the same cook/owner in the kitchen. General-Tso's was always my favorite and this place always made it the best. Fast forward 5 years and when I went this last week, the same cook and the dish was prepared exactly as I remember it....crisp, flavorful, and yummy. So if you're from Long Island/NY, make sure you visit this shopping plaza and check out these two treasures...close your eyes and you'll be back on Hempstead Turnpike enjoying your favorite takeout.

They do not deliver, but my takeout was ready in 10 mins. Classic American-Chinese cuisine. The food was good, the thigh meat wasn't too fatty, and the prices are great. Do be careful with your takeout boxes, I almost dropped half of my combination meal because the flimsy Styrofoam.

Food always tastes good. I have tried about 6 different dishes and so far all of them were great. Im giving this place a 4 because of the lack of customer service sometimes.

Classic local Chinese takeout restaurant. I wouldn't suggest dining in, and the lady on the phone is a tad abrasive. BUT, the food is good and you just can't eat enough! (maybe it is all the MSG) Glad I live so close to this place, it is always good to have Chinese takeout nearby when you NEED it. I had: Mongolian Beef House Lo Mein Wonton Soup All good!

I have been coming to China Feast for at least 12 years and remember it from my younger years, this location has been here for years and I think it has the same people there from when i first started eating here. The food was fresh and they have lunch specials like Generals TSO chicken with a soda and fried rice or white rice(Your choice) for $5.85 they have other choices for there lunch special or you can just get any regular item witch ranges in prices from $7.00+. I have loved Chinese food and this place has always been a good place but the last time i went lately i felt the food was not as good as before, i much prefer the Chinese place in Maitland in the Publix plaza to this location even though China Feast has cheaper price it was just not as good as i remember it to be once. The people there are friendly and you can take some duck sauce or soy sauce with you plus if you call in your order ahead they have it ready in 10 minutes. Quick+cheap=GOOD!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
