One of my favorite lunch places in the area! Everything is fresh, delicious, & there's always a great selection of soups to choose from. You can't go wrong with the Lobster Bisque, or the Chicken Enchilada. I'm also a fan of the seasonal berry salad, if you're opting for the half soup, half salad option for a bit of a lighter fare.

I generally like spicy food so I had the Shrimp & Crawfish Étouffée and a half salad of Loco Burrito. Both had plenty of flavor and spice. The staff is very helpful and customer oriented. Really glad I stopped in and I plan to come back again soon.

My wife and I first tried out Zoup! while we were in the area on a Saturday. Panera Bread is my wife's absolute favorite restaurant of all time, and were I the jealous type, I would suspect infidelity. But seriously: I am tired of that restaurant. It's a chain restaurant, too - what philistine makes a chain their favorite? But I digress. Once in a while I like to eat elsewhere, so I was hoping that Zoup! might be similar enough to interrupt the broken record and get it back on track so that we can listen to the next song. I loved this place. The salad I ordered - I think it was called the "Loco Burrito" - had a spicy ranch dressing that was simply exquisite. The soups have ranged from decent to good, but it is this salad that has me sold. The staff is super-solicitous; every time we've been, the manager comes out to ask how our meal is. In addition, the place is clean - an important, basic piece of restaurant quality that should never be overlooked. While I'm not sure I've yet convinced my wife that this is an acceptable alternative (it doesn't help that there's a Panera Bread close by this Zoup!), I am putting this place in the regular rotation...by fiat, if necessary.

Zoup opened up very recently, so I was curious about it. They have about 12 different soups to try, and they allow you to taste as many as you'd like before you order. They have a variety of different sandwiches and salads to go along with your soup. I got a half Greek salad and half tomato basil soup combination. The soup was nice and hot and tasted nice. My salad came with a balsamic dressing and was good too. Both were a bit bland. I tried a bite of my friends veggie sandwich and that was a little bland too. Im sure they realize this because they had some hot sauces lying around. Also, expect to pay around $10/per person. Decor is nice and similar to Cosi or Panera Bread, although not quite as cozy. Staff were extremely friendly. I'll be back, I definitely want to try more of the soups.

Zoup is delicious! They have a great variety of soups. They pair well with the salads and sandwiches they have available also. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients in their soups which bring out a full robust flavor. The pumpkin pie bisque was yummy! Also try the chili. :)

Love love love zoups! Great service great food! All of the employees have great customer service skills, but Eric really sticks out, stopping by tables to ask how your food is and chat. Always brings my daughter goldfish crackers. One of our family's regular spots.

Recently discovered this place, and we keep coming back. Always about 12 different hearty soups to choose from. The soups rotate out of total of many, many. Samples gladly given. They also have sandwiches that they will grill for you if you ask. Soups and salads are excellent - sandwiches are average lunch meat variety. We hope their soups stay as good and hearty as they are now and don't start to sacrifice quality over time. And staff is very friendly!

Loved the fresh ingredients and old fashioned customer service. The soup and sandwiches are my favorite. Pretty great price for the quality of food. One of my favorite stops on kirkwood hwy. Living in bear area has its downfalls. Recommend highly!!!!

I decided to try out this spot after I received a coupon in the mail for a free soup. I was VERY impressed! The staff was very friendly. One staff member explained their 'story' to me and then another friendly staff member came out and greeted me and ensured that I had heard the story. I was impressed. I ordered the broccoli and cheese soup with a hunk of french bread. It was very good and the bread was soft. I also ordered a turkey club sandwich. It came warm on a french roll and was also very good. The total for the 2 before the coupon was $12. A little pricey in my mind but very good! Delicious, quality food!

While I adored the concept of a soup bar, Zoup fell dismally short. I tried the new England clam chowder and lobster bisque and found them to be very floury and almost gummy in texture. I ultimately decided on a cup of tomato basil (did not sample 1st) and a tuna lemon caper half sandwich. They did not offer me a choice on bread and I was very disappointed when I unwrapped my sandwich to find a sorry looking wrap. The wrap was soggy from the cup of mayo oozing out-mayo overkill. The tomato basil soup tasted no better than soup from a can, in fact I would have preferred from a can. I'm still in disbelief that I spent nearly $12 on a lunch I threw away. My co-worker felt the same about his meal and we agreed there are far better options out there for your money. I'd highly recommend skipping this wannabe and instead walking further down the strip mall to the Italian catering place that has genuine homemade, fine-crafted soups and a fancy list of city inspired sammies.

This place is a refreshing addition for the area, but it should be two dollar signs, not one. $ signifies that I can get complete meals for two for under $15. We came here the other day and paid nearly $30 for three regular size soups and one small chicken Caesar salad, intended to feed three of us. Food is great, as is the service, but it's certainly not cheap.

If you like Panera Bread, you will like this place. Not as many sandwiches or salads but about 12 different soups everyday. I am a soup fanatic so this place is for me. This place is pretty new maybe been open 4-5 weeks. I will pick this place over Panera Bread now because I'm tired of the people at Panera the sit there all day and are total annoying hipster types. Plus this place plays good music mostly 80's. The staff is very friendly and they allow you to sample as many soups until you find one you like.

Zoup! for Your Group Catering I ordered from Zoup! catering for 30ppl for an event in my office. They rotate 12 different soups every day (with the exception of a couple of "standards") so when I placed my order a week in advance, Eric said I could have ANY soup I wanted. We ordered tureens of Pumpkin Pie Bisque, Beef Barley and Corkscrew Chicken. Bread/roll comes with the soup so I got a mix of the 3 they offer: French, sourdough and multi-grain. We also ordered 3 large salads: Asian, Sonoma and chicken Caesar. Can't forget the desserts: choc chip cookies and brownies. (We didn't need drinks so I didn't ask about them) It was a HUGE hit! Everyone in the office loved the taste, variety, the set-up! Eric arrived on time, set up everything (arranged nicely so it was easy to serve) with utensils, ladles, plates, etc. It looked great. Even though the delivery was probably 25-30 mins away, the soups were hot upon arrival and held their temperature really well. There was plenty of food and lots left over. (I probably could have ordered less but) We enjoyed leftovers the next day. :-) Staff REALLY liked the Pumpkin Pie Bisque. And the chocolate chip cookies were a big hit - soft, gooey and LARGE! They went quickly. We will DEF order from Zoup! again. 10/16/13
