I have been back here 4 times now and it amazes me every time how great this place is!

I live less than a block from scrumptious and stop by at least once a week. I've had a few of their breakfast items so far, and my favorite without a doubt is any bagel with their homemade veggie cream cheese! Both the bagel and cream cheese are very fresh and tasty! Got my boyfriend hooked and he's not a huge veggie guy. Their pancakes are fluffy and very filling! I got the blueberry pancakes and the blueberries were fresh, not frozen. The coffee is great, they have unique syrups too! I agree, seating is limited, but so are many small businesses in trolley. Every time I've been in here, I've been greeted and served by super friendly staff!

They have a very all around friendly menu for all types of needs. There are tons of vegetarian friendly fare and a couple of vegan options. I'm not sure if their roti bread is vegan, it usually it as long as they don't butter the grill or pan. I've only been there once since becoming vegan, but a few times as a vegetarian so most of my food experiences have been as a vegetarian. The roti is extremely good and not your normal food find in these parts. I also love the fact that they have peanut and almond butter available. They always have sorbet available on their self serve station. And sometimes they have sugar free vanilla, no sugar, fake or otherwise, that is phenomenal. Scrumptious's owner is a delight to deal with, quick and very friendly and thoughtful. She's a vegetarian so she's great to deal with if you have questions. There have been some not so wonderful employees there in the past that were slow and unfortunately very clueless. I didn't see them the last 2 times I went so they might not work there anymore.

Really enjoyed the service and style offered for breakfast at Scrumptious. Food was well prepared and more pancake than we could finish!

Heading to Wilmington to visit my Dad. I did a Google search and this place popped up. Decided to try. Looked like a family run "local" place which I love to try. I was not disappointed. Servers were very nice and friendly. Many pancakes to choose. I had the coconut which were delicious. Omelettes were tasty. Great place for breakfast.

My mom's stripping put me through college. Her stage name was "Scrumptious". She also made kick-ass breakfasts while banged out on methamphetamine after a hard night of shaking for my education. Guess what. I love my mom- but I'd step right over her for breakfast from my NEW favorite Scrumptious. This place was fun. Cool little hipster neighborhood, nice outdoor deck area, delicious pancakes. They don't even smell like cheap whiskey and Marlboros or yell profanities in their sleep here. Our server was sweet and attentive and we had the entire deck to ourselves on a sunny, warm morning. I think it was the perfect setting to cram a short stack of BACON PANCAKES into my fat face while sipping a delicious iced coffee. I would shake my sexy bare ass at creepy, leering weirdos for this kind of breakfast. Bacon pancakes is like figuring out how to encase crack in much stronger crack. My wife had strawberry pancakes that were so delicious she got up on the table and stuffed her chest in my face. It was a nice gesture, but it distracted me from my bacon pancakes and was therefore unwelcome. Overall, a great place definitely worth checking out. So many options- and frozen yogurt too??? Take your mom. Tell her how much you appreciate her.

I used to come all the time for the delicious Mochica mint lattes....then they started becoming more inconsistent & less delicious. So I didn't frequent as much. I used to live in Trolley Square & would stop in for frozen yogurt after leaving a bar. I moved out of Trolley about 8 months ago....stopped by tonight (on a Saturday night) after leaving a bar- walked in at 11:07 to a Scrumptious full of twenty-somethings standing around talking and "I'm sorry we're actually closed I just haven't locked the door yet"??!?! I didn't look for changed hours on the door, so I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting to leave the bar & get yummy fro yo when I wanted it. I guess only the owner would know what she pulls in on weekends after hours, but I would think that that would be a great $-making time. Idk maybe it's just me. But I don't think I'll ever be back.

Another spectacular food outing at scrumptious. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Such a fun place to dine at. Maduri is amazing. It's always a pleasure to see her behind the counter. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Delaware again!

I tried the the Hawaiian pancakes- which in theory posed a scrumptious delight. Unfortunately, it definitely lacked in terms of execution. My pancakes had a few chunks of "hard" pineapple with a disproportionately large amount of coconut flakes. It was seriously subpar to the description. In terms of service, it was extremely slow and the waitresses weren't eager to please. We had to remind our server multiple times of elements of orders and drinks and the wait time between orders was ridiculously long. I'm assuming Delaware doesn't have many options, but save yourself the time and skip Scrumptious for a brunch/breakfast. It might fare better for its ice cream/shake options.

Here's what I know about Delaware: Joe Biden is from here (plus) and it's the only state without a national park site (minus). But I came up to visit a friend and was nervous looking for a place to eat because a lot of Wilmington feels a bit like a city-sized strip-mall (you heard me). So we came to Scrumptious: and it is NOT a strip-mall feel (well done!) and the food is pretty good. A super eclectic offering-- but we had pancakes and a roti wrap and a scramble, and all were good. I'm knocking off a star because the people behind the counter were REALLY struggling to get our order right (veerrrry young staff) and seemed a bit confused in general about customer service. But I'd go here again if I ever find myself in Wilmington.

Maduri the chef and owner is a master at concocting delicious finger licking dishes that delight your pallet! Super friendly and awesome customer service. Just an all around great place! Feels like home! You will not be disappointed!

A truly delightful place. Owner operated. Delicious food. Freshly prepared, healthy ingredients. Effervescent, efficient service. It is clear that they take pride in their food and service. I shared four separate breakfast entrees with my companion. You can see the items in the pictures I posted : "sharing two" and " sharing two more." I am a musician who travels a lot and I am also a foodie. I discovered scrumptious while spending the weekend in downtown Wilmington. Scrumptious is just a short 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel DuPont in the neighborhood of Trolley Square. Be sure to check out Scrumptious. It truly is!

During our vacation to NYC (all the way from California), my wife and I decided to go see Washington DC. We got hungry a long the way, so I yelped a few places and ended up here. Scrumptious did not disappoint. Right when we came in we were promptly greeted and seated. The service staff was very friendly. My wife ordered and egg white plate and I had the roti scrambler. I'm a big fan of roti and eggs, so it was a no brainer. I eat a lot of Indian food, so trust me when I say the roti scrambler was delicious. I wouls highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

  • Kate C.

The owner (who greeted us) was delightful and friendly. The food and milkshakes were fresh and delicious. Had to take off a star, because the service was pretty horrendous...sullen clueless teenager who could barely be bothered to even look us in the eye. I would go back, just know you have to go through some annoyance to get to your yummy meal.

I don't go to Delaware often but I happened to stop by here while passing through. Amazing! And the staff is so nice. I tried some of the food too. I gotta say this is the best place I've been to south of jersey.

  • Jason k.

Dirty..horrible service..how this place is open is beyond me. I asked for a sample but had to wait until the girl behind the counter was done gossiping with her high school buddies.frozen yougurt all over the machines and floor. Toppings scattered everywhere. Not to mention the place smells like ass. won't be back..ever!

  • Isra A.

Creative menu with intriguing titles and dishes. Five stars for the food but two stars for the service. We stopped in here for breakfast after picking family up from the airport. We were seated outside. Servers were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed however it felt almost too relaxed. Silverware was not brought out until after our food came out. The ketchup bottle brought to us was empty and then the syrup bottle was half empty and ran out in the middle of the breakfast. Asked for plain simple hash brown/home fries with my eggs Place seemed like it was run by kids who might have been slightly overwhelmed. Not sure what happened here with service as it's rated highly on Yelp hence why we chose it.

  • Alexx P.

Although the food was decent, the service of this restaurant is unbelievably slow and disorganized. I was very disappointed. The inside seating is stuffy and crowded and the outside- only two tables have umbrellas, prepare to be seated in the hot sun! Our food took an hour to come out, they only have one grill to cook on. Half of our food didn't even come out! The staff was friendly but that won't be enough to make me come back.

    (2)
  • Jonathan F.

It was busy this morning. Ate breakfast service was slow but they have a sign with a warning that everything is cooked to order. First, nice outdoor patio, the atmosphere and staff are crunchy. Bottom line is the food was very good. Did not have the yogurt or milk shakes but they looked delicious.

    (4)
  • Morgan H.

Lordy. They had pancakes on the menu that I honestly wouldn't be creative enough to think of. The stacks were as if they suspended the pancake between batter and cooked and fluffy took on an entire atmosphere. Their menu is broad and I can't wait to come back and try the rest! Delicious coffee to boot.

This is the cutest most awesome place I've been to thus far here in Wilmington. First of all... ALL DAY BREAKFAST? What? And goooood breakfast too! "Scrumptious". But what really pulled me in was that they're open on Sunday's. And early too! I get off work at 7am everyday and all I want is breakfast when I get off. On Sunday it's difficult to find because every place is closed.... but not this place! #Score! Even though they have several awesome items on the menu I seem to always get the BLT because they don't try and do anything extra with it or make it "gourmet" like these pompous restaurants here seem to do. They get it right... With fresh ingredients. PLUS their little ice cream/shake station has every topping you could ever dream of... and some you can't. I just liked this place from the minute I walked in. Very intimate and... and... just cute. Don't know how else to describe it. Just a cute place to hang out!

    (5)
  • Precious C.

I didn't like their nitro ice cream. Way too sweet. They should promote their milkshakes though cause those are good. But I wasn't impressed. Although thumbs up on the creativity of their flavor combinations. And their breakfast fixings are alright.

    (2)
  • Sunil A.

As usual, great service! Great food! Great camaraderie among the 'owners' and 'staff'! You wouldn't know who's who unless you learn it! I love this place!

    (5)
  • Melinda E.

Cute but a little disappointing. The waitress was a little clueless and while the atmosphere was trying to be sweet (no pun intended) they hadn't worked all the kinks out. For example, the tables were pretty, but very impractical as they were iron and had a design with holes in it so any coffee or syrup dripped all over and there was barely any room for the food. Pancakes were okay, tasted generic. Coffee was okay but they didn't know how to do refills. Probably won't come back.

  • Cara B.

Cute ice cream/ froyo place near Trolley Square. Came here Saturday to get my fix for a craving for froyo. They have several different flavors of froyo to chose from and many different toppings. The staff was a little quick with us because it was within a half an hour of closing time so you could tell they were trying to usher us out! Overall good froyo and a wide variety of offerings that I have not yet been able to try. I will be going back in the future!

  • Jasmine D.

Just went in to try the frozen yogurt. The yogurt was amazing as well as the girl working there. I love the hours and will definitely go back to try their other menu items. I recommend people give this place a try!

My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times for their refreshing frozen yogurt but today we decided to head in for some Saturday afternoon brunch. The service was great, everyone is very friendly. We both ordered off the brunch menu. I ordered the Hass Benedict and my boyfriend got the Adult grilled cheese and we shared a side of the cuban hash. The food is made to order which I loved. My dish was delicious and fresh. The avocado spread was to die for. It came with arugula which was good but it was just a tad excessive for my taste. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The grilled cheese was so unique and the brie cheese really adds a nice twist to a traditional classic meal. The hash was also very good and a nice size to split between two people. I thought the portions were perfect. I will definitely be back again for breakfast!

The pancakes with the Heath candy bits mixed in was quite possibly the best pancakes I have ever eaten. The prices are great and the service was friendly and quick. They even let me bring my dog in through the restaurant to eat on the back patio. This is my new go-to breakfast place.

The food here is amazing. I had a strawberry and banana smoothie and it's the best I've ever had. This is, by far, the best cafe in Wilmington, DE.

  • Levi B.

Found this place on yelp, stopped by during a road trip because of the good reviews. Pros- The girls serving were very nice, if a little young. Had a nice selection of smoothies and milkshakes. Cons- The place is small and has no ventilation despite having a griddle, so be comfortable with the smell of griddle grease; it will be constant, and you will walk out with your clothes and hair smelling of grease. Halfway into eating our toast, we noticed that it had a green-blue spot on one corner - mold. We were in a rush to continue with our trip, so we didn't make a big deal about it, just brought it to their attention when we paid. The server apologized, but nevertheless charged us full price for the toast. The food wasn't bad, though not great, so neither pro nor con. Overall quite disappointing...

  • Stephen S.

Great location and lovely service; however, the breakfast seemed to be lacking considering the prices. Apparently, they've only been serving food since January, so they may just need some more time to work out the problem areas. Omelette could have been more flavorful. Bread was a little stale. Coffee was fine. Overall, worth a shot, but it won't knock your socks off!

  • Priyanka M.

This place is a hidden treasure. We went to try the brunch on a Sunday and it was great. The golden banana pancakes are to die for. The pork cheese omelette is really nice and filling. And don't miss the milkshakes! Overall a great place for a brunch!

Usually go for yogurt when I'm in area today I tried breakfast for the first time. Everyone in my party raved about the food. I had strawberry pancakes there were ok nothing amazing. All the other dishes looked good. Menu is small everything home made so you will wait awhile. I would go back for yogurt and food.

Just had the best Brunch I have had in quite awhile ... the service was excellent from Kathy... leaving very happy and fullfilled. I stated to them... they have a customer for life. The stuffed pancakes were great and fresh.. The open face bacon and egg combo taste like my mom cooked it off the brunch menu.. Fresh ingredients and topped it off with a s'more milkshake was a knockout.. well time to go to sleep.. Enjoy folks because I will be back..

Absolutely LOVE scrumptious! The service is always wonderful, the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is just perfect. Love to come here to grab breakfast before work or to eat in on the weekends. Love it!

Stopped in after dining down the strèet and was extremely shocked and displeased that they did not have one single sugar free option. Diabetes is a worldwide epidemic and there was nothing I could have that wouldn't spike my blood sugar. I only ate half of what I chose and threw the rest away. Other frozen yogurt places have sugar free options, including a sugar free chocolate syrup. This place had limited toppings and nothing sugar free at all. I will not be back.

Great little cafe! I love the fro yo. They have some really unique items on the menu like the roti scrambler.

Cool place. Went in for brunch. Comfortable leather seats, living room nook feel in one area. Had Great Meat Roti Scrambler!

I love this place as the food is always fresh, the staff is super friendly and it's owner operated. The wait for such high quality food is well worth it. The establishment has breakfast, brunch and frozen yogurt which has me coming back more and more (sometimes twice a day)! Highly recommend giving it a try and enjoy this warm and vibrant environment

Fantastic! What a gem in Wilmington, where it is hard to find a great spot for breakfast. My wife and I came for Sunday brunch before an afternoon concert at the Opera House. Fantastic food, very friendly staff, eclectic atmosphere, bottomless cup of coffee ... what's not to like? Plenty of unique choices on the menu complemented by some great specials. I chose the breakfast tacos, which included a wonderful blend of scrambled eggs, cheese, spicy chorizo sausage and their homemade special Cuban salsa. Awesome! My wife chose the Garden Scrambler, with onions, peppers, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese in a whole west wrap. We also had a side of pancakes with roasted pecans. Wow, that was great! Add free wireless and a comfy leather seat and we may not leave...

Court delay because of the snow, so my wife and I decide to get breakfast. Found scrumptious on yelp and tried it out. Smart move. Coffee brewed by the cup and some of the best breakfast I've had in the city. Owner operated. Fast and clean.

  • Evan M.

I was really looking forward to having the liquid nitrogen ice cream, since it's plastered all over their menu, their website, and their sign, but apparently they haven't had that since last summer. I probably wouldn't have gone if I had known this ahead of time, since as it stands now the deserts are the same as what you would find at any other self-serve frozen yogurt place.

Most of the items I have ordered I have enjoyed. The unique cuisine and friendly service or a welcomed addition to restaurants I frequent.

This place is awesome! Me and my girlfriend stopped in one morning, (thanks to Siri) the decor is nice I like the design of the place it's very laid back and home style feel. I had the Ranchero Breakfast Burrito my girlfriend had the Reese's pancakes. The burrito was awesome, the eggs were cooked perfectly I definitely recommend having spiracha with it. The Reese's pancakes were light and fluffy with a lot of chocolate Reese bits. I personally can't wait to come back and try the milkshakes and the jerk chicken special they have. Oh and the staff was awesome they were friendly and talkative kept us entertained while we ate. All around an awesome place! 5 stars

Not good for breakfast. Poor seating. Pleasant high schools gals very nice but don't know how to cook pancakes (kept flipping them over = chewy). Had to ask for syrup, salt and pepper. Scrapple looked like it was a day (or more) old. Good coffee. Probably better for ice cream and not much else (didn't stay for lunch.)

  • Matt P.

The options, people and overall quality of the food is amazing. It provides something for everyone and at all times of the day. They keep a rotating brunch menu, which keeps me coming back for more. They are attentive to customer feedback and always try to ensure a very positive experience.

  • Laura R.

Went here for lunch one day. Not a very wide menu. Had a BLT which was good and reasonably priced. The yogurt was pretty good as well, but had limited fruit toppings. Overall, it's a nice place to go for a quick lunch with friends or for a frozen yogurt treat.

    (4)
  • Natalie Y.

Delicious selections, and good prices. However the customer service I experienced was sad. No greeting when I approached the counter and the employees were sitting eating when we walked in. A place as unique as this should hold themselves at a higher quality for their service. I don't think we'll be back.

I showed up on a Sunday morning. The menu and options are amazing but the store execution is poor. First if they are not serving nitro ice cream for the winter then they should take it off the menu. Second they have really great espresso equipment but did not have a barista working that could use it properly....steaming the milk for a latte is a skill and I heard glub glub instead of tearing paper....the resultant latte taste confirmed what I heard. Suggestion...take a barista class. The interior design was great and props to whoever did it...but it is not being maintained and is dirty. Blue painters tape holding the bar together...really? The ranchero omelet was amazing. Loved it!!! Anyway great business model but execution and maintenance was poor.

  • Cameron G.

This is not a good place to eat. My pancakes and home fries were undercooked which could've made me sick. Disgusting! The only good thing from my order was the egg and cheese bagel. My expectations for this restaurant were high and they really failed. I will say though that the people who worked there are very pleasant.

  • Komal K.

Hubby and I went to Scrumptious for a Sunday morning breakfast after being locked in the house due to a snow storm all Saturday. Cute place but it was more of a take out place. They don't have a lot of table seating available. Servers are really friendly and the all out roti scrambler is a hit. Hubby ordered the jerked chicken scrambler. The flavors were very nice but the quantity was a little less. Peanut butter milkshake was disappointing.

    (4)
  • Carrie R.

This place is deceiving from the front, looks like a frozen yogurt place only, but realized they have a nice outdoor seating area in the back. I had the meat lovers wrap and their coffee was good. It did take a bit of time but I knew that from previous reviewers. Honestly, grab your newspaper and relax. Food was fresh and good. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

This is a phenomenal breakfast spot. Myself and the foodie girl had such a satisfying meal. We got the milkshake with espresso and chocolate chips which was addictive and amazing. Then I got sunny side up eggs over turkey bacon and avocado with an aioli spread which was honestly out of this world (it's on the specials menu). Foodie girl got a breakfast burrito which was hearty and expertly prepared. Wish they had places like this in my neck of the woods. Some of the hottest brunch spots in NYC simply don't compare.

    (5)
  • George M.

Excellent food. Very cute staff. Sitting is very limited inside and there are no umbrellas in the spacious patio so bring a hat on sunny days! Great place overall, open Sundays, apparently this is not common in Wilmington from what other yelpers have reported. BTW, Wilmington is dead on Sundays. Just like the movies where all the humans are gone and entry bldgs remain. Easy to park!!!!!!

  • Candice H.

The food here was excellent. Everything was made to order and the ingredients were very fresh. My husband had the coconut pancakes which he said were almost cake like and "scrumptious." My daughter and I had the roti scramble which was outstanding! The wrap was similar to Indian nan. We then ordered milkshakes to go. They have over 30 flavors so how could we not!? The coffee break and banana shakes were out of this world. One star off for lack of seating and less than clean bathrooms but overall a great find.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for breakfast while on vacation and had a great experience. The food was fantastic, the owner was super friendly and the milkshake was delicious. I would definitely recommend Scrumptious to anyone in the area.

Awesome place. Food is amazing. You have to try the roti wraps. There is so much flavor in a delicious wrap. Maduri is the only person that knows how to properly stream almond milk for the best latte in Wilmington. I haven't had the pancakes yet, but they look delicious. Can't wait for warmer weather to try the frozen yogurt. Just tried the Cuban hash special today. It has a good kick and a perfect sunnyside up egg on top. Don't miss this place.

Tried this place last Sunday morning for breakfast then took my nieces back for frozen yogurt. I have mixed reviews. Breakfast: Buttermilk Pancakes. Thin, light and crepe-like. Sweet and very good. No need for syrup or powdered sugar. Am anxious to try the fruit-filled pancakes. BLT. Standard. Made the way it is suppose to be made. Bacon, lettuce, tomato with mayo on white toast. Ranchero Breakfast Burrito. Large portion that can easily be shared with another person. Nice heat from the hot sauce. Endless cup of coffee. Good coffee. A bit confusing though. They pour it behind the counter, the creamer and sugar is on another counter then you need to walk to your little table. Just didn't flow right. All our entrees were served HOT. I mean HOT. Did I mention they were HOT?!?! And it is a rare occasion that your entrée doesn't sit under a heat lamp or on a counter waiting to be delivered. We had to wait for it to cool down a bit before eating. That was an great bonus! Seating is very limited inside. Small tables with small wire chairs. Not too comfty. You pay when you order and the screen asks if you want to add a tip or not. For a gal that doesn't carry cash, it was odd. How can I tip on the service or food if I haven't eaten yet? They were expecting a big crowd as it was Point-To-Point that afternoon. My niece both orders custom Nitro-Frez sundaes. Where they put all your ingredients into a mixer and pour in liquid nitrogen. After we ordered and paid, they told us they were out of liquid nitrogen. They told us my nieces could get a frozen yogurt with toppings and it wouldn't have to be weighed for price. That was the only option. Husband ordered a mint chocolate chip milk shake. Let me say that frozen yogurt does not make a good milk shake....it turns into a runny and thin mess. Add some chocolate chips and what tasted like an entire bottle of mint extract and you have a mess on your hands. He took one sip, I took one sip when we got to the car and straight into the trash it went. Frozen Yogurt is standard. Nothing bad or extremely good about it. I prefer PinkBerry's frozen yogurt in the Christiana Mall. So....will I got back here? Yes. Am eager to try more breakfast entrees. Also - limited parking on the street unless you circle around a few blocks and stumble upon the parking lot as we did that evening.

Great little breakfast and coffee place. Cheerful atmosphere. Attentive staff. Tasty food most of which is made on a panini type grill. It is impressive what an enterprising young business woman and chef can do with a grill. Very nice.

Great food and service, cool decor. Prices are a bit high, but hey, that's to be expected in the Trolley Square area. Service was top notch, with the waitress willing to make changes and substitutions with no charge or lip. Loved it, but can't spend $30 on pancakes and bagels for a family of 3 :/

Cute! Very, very cute. I'm a huge fan of pay-by-the-ounce frozen yogurt. They have a pretty good selection of flavors and the prices aren't bad at all. I really love that they have outdoor seating as well, and the staff seems pretty nice. There is a BYOB frozen yogurt spot in New Jersey, and I think Scrumptious should try that out ;) The fro yo itself was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but I'll have to go back and try out more flavors to see if I can make this 4 into a 5. I also want to try out the other food they have here! Not bad, not bad at all. You'll be seeing more of me, Scrumptious.

Hidden within a somewhat innocuous looking Froyo shop is a delicious breakfast place as well serving incredible sandwiches and pancakes. The roti scramble is amazing and very unique. It's not terribly spicy but is like a tasty omelette wrapped in a soft bread. The blueberry pancakes were also quite succulent and far less heavy than normal pancakes. The staff is exceptionally friendly, checked on us and refilled our coffee several times and even chatted with us about our plans for the day. The outside patio is also very peaceful and nice. Great way to start the day.

Scrumptious ? Never heard of it. ...But once we did, (less than 2 WEEKS ago), we figured out that MADURI is running probably THE single coolest new spot in the Philadelphia 'burbs to hang with friends, drink AMAZING coffee or espresso (or MILK SHAKEs-!), eat incredibly delish Smoothies & FroYo (CUSTOM Toppings Bar, YES!), or fill up on Breakfast Omelet Burritos, Wraps, Platters, (hi there, ROTI SCRAMBLER !) or their perfect Pancakes (Tall stack, pleez), along with their HomeFries & their awesome CHICKEN SAL SAMMICH, & everything ELSE we've sampled so far, .... Or deciding to lose our minds by savoring their unbelievable FROZEN NITRO !... Yow, what a PLACE ! ...& yeah, we're in love with Maduri, ---she's irresistible, like that's OUR fault?--- & in love with Maduri's way-cool staff (yow, Hi MICHELLE ! ), & with basically EVERYTHING that Maduri has figured out in offering Delaware's absolutely hands-down BEST NEW Restaurant-Cafe-DessertShoppe-HappinessJoint in YEARS ! Heck, Why even go into details?... See for yourselves, like we did! ...We didn't know Scrumptious even EXISTED until about a week & a half ago! ...But once we FOUND this uber-Bright, uber-Cool TrolleySquare Cafe-but-oh-so-much-more, yeah, well, we've been stopping in for something new for 8 days out of the last 11 days, ,,,...so yeah, we're Scrumptious ADDICTs, big deal, so what?... ...Living large is what we're doing. SKIP all the OTHER FroYo places, they're all CHAIN joints, with ZERO personality, & they just have no SOUL, ya know? SOUL is what Scrumptious is all about. It is absolutely ORIGINAL ! THANKS MILLIONS for Opening Up a FANTASTIC new place to chill with a Drink (& MORE) ! Scrumptious, yeah, ... you found the PERFECT name, Maduri ! You guys ARE Scrumptious. You guys ROCK ! We'll be with you for Life !

Been here twice so far. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our breakfast choices. We shared the veggie wrap and pancakes. Somewhat small portions. Milkshakes were good. Didn't get a chance to try the nitro since they were all out. Will be back to try the nitro.

This place has awesome breakfast. We live close by and whenever we get the hankering for breakfast foor (or, on my SO's part, Indian type food) we go here. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, and I've heard great things about the pancakes. My SO gets the indian chicken sandwich (always forget what that is called!) but he loves it. The nitro - cream is also good and is a delicious after dinner snack. I can't say I love that pricing, but everything else is pretty reasonable. Even so, the price is worth it for the customer service and the interesting decor. Their hours are really nice too, open early and close late. It's good to see that they are doing well - they deserve it!

Such a great, unique and full menu for a froyo place. You almost have to call them a restaurant that also has froyo! I love the late hours, and they have the best topping bar in all of Delaware. And friendliest staff. I will keep going back for sure.

We love this place! Every time we are in Wilmington we have breakfast here. They have great omlets & I always get nutella on a bagel. The staff is always friendly & remembers our name. Definitely recommend!!!

Delicious nitro ice cream and friendly staff. Was driving through Wilmington on way back to ATL when we saw this on Yelp. The decor inside was exciting, if a little girly. While we only tried the nitro, they had a wide variety of ice cream, breakfast, coffee, yogurt, etc. The store seemed much larger inside than I thought, and combined with bagels and coffee, makes this place more appealing for breakfast than a simple yogurt shop if we lived in the area. The staff were very friendly. Lexie and Miranda were both sweet and very welcoming, accommodating to my many questions. While they didn't seem to have much personal experience tasting the nitro, they made it to near perfection. Again, we can only speak for the nitro ice cream, since that's all we had. But from our experience, the store was true to it's name: scrumptious. Update: forgot to mention pricing. It was $5(tax included in price) for a nice size portion of the nitro ice cream, with two toppings mixed in and included in price. Comparatively to other similar shops, I was very pleased with portion and pricing.

What a nice surprise to find a little breakfast place off of 95 that uses real fruit in the smoothies, has ingredients like coconut oil and almond butter available, and pancakes of all varieties made from scratch. Highly recommended!

We were traveling through Wilmington and decided to give Scrumptious a try by the reviews on yelp. Doubtful by first glance as this restaurant looks like just an ice cream shop and we came for the breakfast but the staff was very friendly and accommodating so we gave it a try. Very happy we did-- pancakes were delicious as were the egg sandwich, omelette and home fries. Wonderful breakfast!

Don't let the frozen yogurt shop look deceive you, this place has dynamite breakfast. Chocolate chip and banana pancakes? Cooked to perfection. Roti omelette wrap? Yes please. Smoothies, milkshakes, frozen yogurt, you can't go wrong here. Highly recommend this place - worth the seven minute detour off I-95.

I probably stop in here at least every other day. It's absolutely great! You would think that with Frozen Yogurt being their focus that the coffee would just be bla-zay but it's fantastic, especially when you request it as a "pour over". Although I'm not personally a big sweet tooth they keep an interesting rotation of Fro-Yo flavors & am occasionally tempted to try one. The main thing I come here for is the bagel sandwiches (sausage/egg/cheese). I don't know how something so basic that I've overlooked my whole life can be so delicious! I've even gotten one mid-day (they're served made to order open to close)! Anyway, if you're in the area definitely hit this place up :)

Defiantly one of the best breakfast coffee shop combos in Wilmington and for sure the best in the trolley square neighborhood. Friendly staff and a cozy vibe, and you can't complain about breakfast till midnight.

Traveling to DE for business and stopped in for breakfast and the food is awesome! Tried the roti scrambler and was fantastic - who could go wrong with flaky indian bread + breakfast foods. All that people that work here were super friendly and went the extra mile whenever I didn't know what was what. Not a huge fan of frozen yogurt (pinkberry, red mango, etc.), but went by after work with coworkers and the Frozen yogurt was pretty dang good. This store is my go-to now whenever I'm traveling to Wilmington.

This place made my day. Came here with wife and preteens and everyone loved it. It's well decorated and very comfortable. Casual atmosphere. The sausage wrap was delicious. The kids love the grilled cheese and potatoes. The smoothies were perfect and the kids love the fryos. We will be back soon !!

Stopped by this week and really enjoyed it, though I should mention I've only had the Frozen Yogurt they sell. It's clean and on a great street (around Trolley), and all of the toppings looked amazing. I can't really say I've see a place like this around anywhere else, so if you're sick of water ice and don't want ice cream, this is definitely the place to be. Location + hours make it a great place to stop by while you're in Trolley for dinner too.

  • M. W.

Love this place! The espresso is definitely the best in the area and I come here every morning of the week. If you want to compare the espresso vs. the other coffee shops in the area, there is no comparison what so ever. I only drink espresso and I have to so say the espresso here is 10x better then other three coffee shops in Trolley Square by a long shot. The prices here are also better even though I don't mind paying a higher price for top quality espresso.

First fro-yo place in Trolley! Thankful!! Very nice staff and great selection of yogurt and toppings! I like the checkout! When I use a credit card, they can text you or email you your receipt. It also tracks your purchases and can receive a reward after so many purchases. Will definitely try this place for breakfast soon, heard they use real eggs and coffee is good.

I had yet to be to a quality frozen yogurt place in Delaware until I came here. Scrumptious has about 8 different rotating flavors and all the toppings a girl could dream of. Also, the staff is incredibly nice. Oh yeah, they also serve Indian food and a variety of breakfast options. It's totally eclectic and AWESOME.

Love this place! It opened up next to the office I used to work at and I was so happy that Trolley Sq. finally had somewhere that I could get froyo. At first I would just go for the froyo but eventually I tried out their breakfast sandwiches and omelets and ended up going there everyday on my lunch break. The owner is the nicest person ever and the rest of the staff is as well. If you're into indian food they have a few items on the menu that you could try out but I never got around to it.

I love Scrumptious, at all times. Although their mix of food is eclectic (Fro Yo, Breakfast/Coffee, and Indian) I feel like they simply make the things they are best at, so everything is amazing. They also have a huge back area that is great to sit at when the whether is nice and would probably make the perfect place to rent out for parties. Breakfast - Seriously if you haven't had their breakfast sandwiches or lattes you are missing out. Plus they serve breakfast till midnight, so next time you are at Anejo, Del Rose or Logan House late night, stop over and pre-cure your hangover. The eggs and meat are cooked right in front of you while your bagel/muffin is being toasted and your drink is being brewed... it's fresh and amazing. Fro-Yo - It's delicious, they have every topping you can think of, and if by some miracle there is a topping you want that they don't have, tell them and it'll be there for you next time... The owners are incredibly friendly and always looking to improve. Lunch/Dinner - Ok the Indian food is amazing. I can't get enough of the bombay/chicken tikka rolls... so they mix the fillings together for me. Order yourself up one and thank me later. If you haven't tried this place yet you definitely need to stop in. The owners are almost always there and they, along with all the other employees are as friendly as they come. They are always open to suggestions or some chit chat. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Stopped in for a cup of afternoon coffee/tea with my wife hoping for a snack and good cup of coffee. There was no brewed coffee available- only pour over. The coffee was very weak. Not to my liking at all. The cafe had no snacks available at all. They appear to be mostly a breakfast and sandwich place. They also have the fix your own frozen yogurt which looks nice. Will try that in the future. But no afternoon coffee break again. The place is cute and the staff is friendly. Looks like a nice outdoor seating area for the warm months. Lastly, the price was outrageous. $6 for a medium cup of coffee and medium cup of tea. Ouch!! Even Starbucks is less expensive for a great cup of coffee.

Myself and a friend visited this establishment on Tuesday 25th June for breakfast, I had an egg, sausage and bacon sandwich, the egg was cooked beautifully as was the bacon, however though the sausage was cooked correctly, it was a bit blah, the sausage was bland in taste which for me is not something I like to see. I also had hot tea, decaf earl gray, the selection of tea was poor, however it was a good brand on offer. I am grateful that Lipton was not one of the offers. I would have much rather have had a regular tea, especially when it comes to Earl Gray, I can't blame them for the flavor of the tea, but a slightly larger selection would be a good idea. A major positive is the young lady who served us, she was very friendly, bright, cheerful and upbeat, she definitely believed in service as she brought the order over to us even though she was the only person serving and cooking. Would I return there........ Possibly, if only for one of the breakfast sandwiches, definitely not for the tea (unless the selection of teas are improved).... I may even try out one of the froyo's next time. All in all it is a very fresh bright and pleasant place to go, but be careful you could miss it.

So, I walked into Scrumptious fairly early on a Friday morning and thought maybe I was in the wrong place. Icecream front and center but don't walk out - super breakfast, great coffee brewed by the cup and awesome people. Midori is the owner and cooked my breakfast. Three chz burrito w bacon cooked perfectly. Soft, melty, smooth, savory and hot on the inside; cispy and caramelized on the outside. Peanut butter cup pancake on the side (cheat day? ) was sweet and salty and cooked nicely. Great meal, good conversation about the neighborhood and hip but not trying-too-hard vibe. I'll be back!

I just recently moved right up the street from scrumptious and have been there twice, I've enjoyed it both times! I've had their veggie and western omelet. I've also enjoyed their lattes and green smoothie. My dad ordered their pancakes and they looked awesome! I'll have to try those next. If you go with a big group the wait may be longer depending on how busy they are as they seem to operate in a small kitchen with a smaller staff. The atmosphere is really cute and they offer a brunch and lunch menu along with frozen yogurt. I would definitely recommend stopping in.

Another spectacular food outing at scrumptious. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Such a fun place to dine at. Maduri is amazing. It's always a pleasure to see her behind the counter. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Delaware again!

I don't go to Delaware often but I happened to stop by here while passing through. Amazing! And the staff is so nice. I tried some of the food too. I gotta say this is the best place I've been to south of jersey.

Really enjoyed the service and style offered for breakfast at Scrumptious. Food was well prepared and more pancake than we could finish!

    (1)

  • Katie S.

    (2)
  • Morgan H.

    (4)
  • Precious C.

I didn't like their nitro ice cream. Way too sweet. They should promote their milkshakes though cause those are good. But I wasn't impressed. Although thumbs up on the creativity of their flavor combinations. And their breakfast fixings are alright.

This place is a hidden treasure. We went to try the brunch on a Sunday and it was great. The golden banana pancakes are to die for. The pork cheese omelette is really nice and filling. And don't miss the milkshakes! Overall a great place for a brunch!

5 stars

Delicious selections, and good prices. However the customer service I experienced was sad. No greeting when I approached the counter and the employees were sitting eating when we walked in. A place as unique as this should hold themselves at a higher quality for their service. I don't think we'll be back.

  • Matt P.

The options, people and overall quality of the food is amazing. It provides something for everyone and at all times of the day. They keep a rotating brunch menu, which keeps me coming back for more. They are attentive to customer feedback and always try to ensure a very positive experience.

Went here for lunch one day. Not a very wide menu. Had a BLT which was good and reasonably priced. The yogurt was pretty good as well, but had limited fruit toppings. Overall, it's a nice place to go for a quick lunch with friends or for a frozen yogurt treat.

  • David K.

  • Tyler L.
