I went with my brother to salad works. It was his first time at salad works and he was not impressed. We both found the customer service from the person making our salad to be lacking. He did not seem warm or inviting. Actually, he seemed alittle annoyed at our slight indecisiveness even though he had no one in line. Nothing bothers me more then people who have an arrogant attitude at the work place. My salad was good. The cashier was friendly, however I see room for improvement. Customer service is not always a natural skill for most. Sometimes we need to show our employees human interaction skills for a more positive experience.

I really like this place and usually have a pleasant experience, however upon my last visit with a friend it turned out very disappointing. First, all of the ingredients had other ingredients in them. For example broccoli had tomatoes in them. Pieces of chicken were mixed in with items. I'm vegan and will get extremely sick if I eat animal products. My friend ordered a build your own salad, and wanted extra spinach. She was charged 79 cents for 3 leafs of spinach! Don't know what happened. Perhaps it's because when I usually go the owner is there but either way there is no excuse.

In sitting here eating my salad and tomato bisque and reading reviews that others have posted, and I don't know if I can agree with them. 2 things I need to make mention first: 1. This is my first time here 2. I came at a non-busy time (1:45PM) What I got: - make your own salad (chicken, bacon, banana peppers, klamata olives, cheese, and lite caesar dressing) - tomato bisque Total for those (and a small fountain drink): $15.87 (ouch) Inside: - clean - lots of seating -2 lines, one for salads one for sandwiches (smart) Service: I had a short, Hispanic woman making my salad. She was kind, courteous, and put just the right amount of portions on my plate (c'mon other reviewers - this isn't a damn buffet - they aren't going to fill your plate w/ whatever you want for a minimal charge). The salad was throughly mixed and done quickly. The lady at the checkout (Caryn, maybe?) was incredibly nice and courteous as well. Overall food opinion: I am a HUGE fan of the salad chain 'Chop't'. The salads and the ingredients are the best I have had for a salad restaurant- so my expectations were set a bit high. While the ingredient layout left very little to be desired, the quality was just good. Bacon was a bit over done (hard, burnt taste) and the cheese (Swiss) was a bit large. Soup was more like eating pizza sauce, and less like actual bisque - but the flavor was good and I (fortunately) love pizza sauce... Overall visit opinion - I'd come back if it were on my way to where I was going and hungry. I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat here - but I wouldn't avoid it. I think the price is what makes me look for greener pastures (ha, see what I did there?). Make this place a bit cheaper, offer a more 'chopped' option, and stop burning the bacon - and I would gladly give you a 5th star.... You have potential.

I have never heard of a restaurant charging you extra to replace what you (the customer) didn't like. I was charged 79 cents, which isn't much at all, but it caught me off guard when I wanted to get a different dressing because the one I ordered tasted like medicine! Even after I paid for another dressing, my salad (the Cobb) was very unsatisfying. It was very soggy from the mushy avocado. Won't be going there again! I'll stick with Panera, thank you!

Went into the saladworks In which I normally am there about twice a week. I ordered the chicken and dumpling soup with the Cabo salad. After I sat down to eat I noticed the soup was very salty. I walked back up to the counter explained to carny the soup was very salty can I please switch it for another cup. She said "no". Seriously saladworks I work in the service industry and am very in satisfied customer. I will not return to this location ever again .

The salads are okay nothing great. The service wasn't that great they seemed bored even annoyed people. The prices are decent. I originally stopped in here because I love salads but this place isn't bad but not great either.

I have eaten at this Saladworks several times and have mixed experiences. A few times I thought the ingredients were ok and the salad edible and satisfactory. There was a younger girl working there and making the salads at this time. She was very courteous and put good portions of ingredients into the salad. In addition, she placed on the dressing of my choice and did a very nice job turning the salad over several times in a mixing bowl as to cover the salad evenly with dressing. This is very important to me as I like the ingredients mixed up nicely. Other times I have eaten here and have had horrible experiences. There is this heavy set miserable girl that works there and she treats the customers like they are just a pain in her oversized butt. She starts by asking "what do you want?" She then impatiently grabs small portions of the things you ask for and throws them in the bowl. Then she takes the little bit of dressing and puts that in there and only turns the salad one time. So here I am with my tiny bowl of vegetables that are all segregated around the salad bowl and not mixed up good. The salad she makes is not even half the size the other girls make that work there. When paying that much for a salad the least they can do is give you a reasonable portion. Being rather angry about my experience I proceed to write them and tell them about this woman's inability to make a good salad and her bitchy attitude. Someone emails me an apologetic letter, ensures me that I will never get such a poor level of service again, and sends me a $10 gift card for my inconvenience. So, I figure that was nice of the saladworks folks to address the issue and make it right because they stated that they would address the poor service. So I go back to the saladworks two more times and get the same girl and the same crappy service and makes my dining experience quite miserable. So I will not bother to write saladworks anymore about their crappy staff. They can keep their gift cards and apologetic replies and shove it in their buckets of soup. They have officially lost good customers who will never return due to the ignorance and incompetence of their staff. Save yourself the grief of dealing with this low level of service and get your salad elsewhere.

Haven't been here for a while. Seems like management has changed. The customer service is slightly better. However the cashier guy was not very pleasant, maybe even annoyed... If you aren't of a specific gender and age. Anyhow, as for our salads some of the ingredients were frozen. Others were mushy. We've been here plenty of times and generally love the food. This time has us contemplating even returning. Kinda sad.

My first and last trip to Saladworks. I ordered my salad and honey mustard dressing on the side. When I got to the table, I tried the dressing and I did not like it at all. So I went back to the counter and asked if I could get another kind because I didn't care for it. The woman quickly snapped back "if you want another dressing it will be 99 cents". I explained that it was my first time here and did not know that I could not get another if I didn't like it. I am generally not too picky but the honey mustard dressing was very spicy like a sandwich spread not a salad dressing. She then scolds me saying that if I wanted to taste it I should have asked for a sample. I told her it was my first time there. As I stood there waiting to pay for another dressing, I asked her if she was the manager and she barked back yet again, "no, I am the owner!" I think my mouth hit the floor. I might expect this from a worker but the owner? I was shocked. I have worked for fine dining establishments in the past and policy was if a customer did not like their meal, yes, a whole meal, it was to be replaced. Period. As I stood there paying, I looked her straight in the face and thanked her making my first and last visit to her store memorable. I also reminder her that I would let all my friend know how warm and friendly her service was. Judging from the other reviews I am seeing here, this was not an isolated incident. Perhaps a nice office job with no public contact would suit her better.

We placed a large order at work and receive 2 sandwiches that had moldy cheese ( yelp.com/biz_photos/sala… ). I called Saladworks to complain, was told I could stop in and they would credit me. I asked if they could just look up my order so I didn't have to leave work to get the credit and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the person came back they said they could credit me for the 2 sandwiches but were going to have to back out the entire order and then put the order through again. I then asked if they could just credit me for the entire order since I was now out 2 sandwiches for coworkers and time. I was put on hold another few minutes and told the best they could do was credit me for 2 sandwiches and 1 salad and give me a free salad when I came in next time. I'm glad they offered to credit my order but it would have been nice if they had seemed to care a little bit more about serving up not 1 but 2 sandwiches with moldy cheese on it. I have had far too many negative experiences here to go back to this location. I will not be back and our company will not be buying lunch there again!

Horrible customer service. Salad was fine- nothing special- had a living social coupon and the branch manager completely blew us off and was unbelievable unprofessional and rude. We will never be going back. Overpriced salads are not worth it

Not bad for a "quick delivery" restaurant. I was amazed at how they got people through the line for the lunch rush. The staff was friendly and service was quick, but the line was bogged down at the cash register. Definitely a system in place, but some room for improvement. The interior was bright and the dishware they used was bright, playful and modern. Fresh ingredients and what appeared to be owners who were invested in their space and their menu.
