This is my go-to place for Chinese food. The flavor and portions are excellent right down to the won-ton soup! The broth is not bland or pale yellow in color. It has more depth to its flavor including the dumplings. The roast pork egg foo young is excellent and always looks and tastes fresh with brightly colored greens, nice sized pork chunks and flavorful gravy. I have found that it is difficult to find a place that makes a good Crab Rangoon but this place also does that right! Everything I have ordered from here is excellent and very tasty. The shrimp rolls are are also a favorite of mine. I highly recommend trying this place and you will order from here again and again!

New person taking orders in front. Rude rude rude!!! Twice she messed my order up. I am allergic to shrimp (fatally) Asked to not have it in a dish. Get home ..and what is in the food? shrimp. Never apologized. Made dish again (would not give credit for something else) Mei fun not good dry and tasteless. This was my favorite chinese restaurant for years. This new person in there who says that she is the manager , no wait the owner , uh no the manager needs lessons on customer service!!! Prior visit noticed her rude to almost every customer that came into restaurant!! (At least I knew is was not me!!!) All I can say is I hope the good chef is on duty when you go in or atleast the nice crew!!! You will know if it is her!! English is not good or her manners. I will be going to a restaurant that has good food and service!!!

Fatty chicken in moo shu and in lo mein, extremely salty wonton soup--will never go back. When I called to complain they told me that no one else complained so must be me. Good luck with that. Can I give no stars?

This place used to be my go to place for chinese food.....the only reason being is that there were no other chinese places in the area. I never loved their food but really didn't have much choice unless I wanted to pick up the food and drive a fair distance to do so. I never understood why there weren't any other chinese restaurants around the area. I always found their meat to be slimey and the vegetables to be soggy. I usually ordered the General Tsao's chicken. The meat would always be very chewy and some pieces would be inedible. I now have another chinese restaurant that opened up in the area and love their food. Queen Cuisine. They are super nice on the phone and the food is great. Sorry King Garden...your food just isn't that good.

Excellent Chinese take out. Seriously, as good or better than the "sit down" joints in the area. Consistently good and fast service. No ambiance to speak of, but that's not the goal of a place like this. Highly recommend!

I agree with the previous reviewer - the Chinese food here is consistently better than anywhere else in the area. And their delivery is very speedy! A good value!

You know when you have a taste for something good and you don't know what is you want?? Well you have to have lunch from the China Garden. It was excellent! Fresh, hot, and a variety of lunch specials. I had the general Tsos chicken. The container it came in was full, and steaming hot. So Good! Another customer said Next time try the ribs "they are the best". I definitely will next week. The service was good too!

We stayed at the Inn @ Wilmington and ordered delivery. They arrived within 30 mins and the food was fresh & good. We received everything we ordered. The portion was more than enough. We ate the rest the next day. The person taking the order was pleasant as well as the driver. If in the area again, I'll definitely order.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
