You can't go wrong with this all time classic restaurant. The food quality is always top notch and the service is superb. Thumbs up to the owners for keeping up for that long with consistency and a clean restaurant with massive portions. I would visit more frequent if I lived closer but they will have my support anytime I'm in the area.

Breakfast lunch and dinner are all great. The chicken dumplings and fried fish dinner are recommended.

I used to come eat here with my family as a child. I hadn't been there in a while but went there and got a breakfast sandwich with hash browns. My boyfriend picked it up for me and before ordering he phoned me to ask me if I was sure that I wanted to eat there. I wasn't sure why he said that but he explained that the food didn't even look the color it was supposed to and it looked bland. I didn't really put much thought into it and preferred anyway. The food once my boyfriend brought it to me didn't look to appealing but again since he already brought it started eating it. The sandwich was bland after all and the hash browns the same. I'm not sure what happened to them but I hope it was a bad day or something. Wish them luck!

Cosmos is not a hot spot. They cater to senior citizens and families, so this isn't a place to go on a date or if you're bothered by slow service and loud surroundings. That being said, the people are friendly and the food is perfectly executed comfort food! I always check the specials board and my favorite has to be the stuffed chicken. Their spinach rice is pretty delicious, so is the turkey, the vegetable soup, and the desserts. Their breakfast sausage is also delicious.

Basic diner food. I had the turkey and cranberry sandwich and my friend had eggs with bacon, home fries and toast. My sandwich was good and my friend enjoyed her breakfast. Service is good and prices aren't bad. Good place for a quick bite.

This place has been in DE forever, which in itself isn't saying that much. Some really bad places have survived for an eternity here. Fortunately, Cosmo's is one of the places that Delawareans have had the good sense enough to help make successful. Cosmo's is a traditional Greek diner, and a consistently good experience. We usually have breakfast here, but we also order spanakopita to take home because it's so good. Good service, nice friendly atmosphere. Winner.

Great diner, all basic food but its cheap and done to perfection. Service is quick and you really can't ask too much more from a diner.

Went there for breakfast with my family. We all had different omelets and we all loved them. The coffee was good. I only wish they would have something besides regular or decaffeinated Lipton tea, since I only drink herbal tea. The service was good. Hope to go back.

Cosmos is a great family restaurant - diner still. Huge, delicious pies, great breKfasts. Famous for its pork chops dinner.

Nice, clean, well lit, and has a great menu! The staff here is very nice and do a great job. The prices are fair and they have all the variety you expect from a diner. I was pleasantly suprised that they have Taylor pork roll here! I always love a place that has pork roll. I get the big breakfast so i can enjoy a little bit of everything!

Nice People, Good Food, Nice Place. The 3 egg asparagus omelette is my favorite breakfast dish. Everything is fresh, Always. This is a cut above your conventional diner. The seafood dinner specials are always great.

Perfect neighborhood diner. The waitresses are usually very prompt/friendly and the food is good, or maybe I should say as good as it prob. Gets for diner food. This would be a perfect 5 if I liked their coffee. That's important to me since I'm usually there for breakfast.

My daughter (she's 7) and I go here just about every weekend for breakfast. The waitresses, hostess and owner are all very family oriented and welcome us as if we were family as well. They treat my daughter as if she were their own grandchild. Great atmosphere, great people, a ton of regulars, great service, and of course, the breakfasts are delicious!! I highly recommend a cheese omelet with sautéed onions and mushrooms, their French toast, their special sweet potato pancakes - I could go on! Love this place! Very homey :)

The staff was friendly and the other guest in my party seemed to enjoy their food. I had something floating in my water my daughters cup was dirty and I did not like my roast at all. It was dry to much bread and nothing like I expected

My wife and I ate here, as we missed having diners where we moved from and read other good reviews. My wife enjoyed the Greek entree and my fried flounder was very good also. I imagine they have very good breakfasts, and we will go back again for either that or dinner.

You cannot beat this place for price and quality. Its a popular hangout for blue hairs, which could lend to the pricing. My only complaint would be the tiny glasses OJ and other breakfast beverages are served in - but that's every diner. My favorite breakfast combo is French Toast, 2 eggs and Scrapple. Sweet mercy its good and the service is fast. This is not a place for late night, but totally worth a stop if you're in the area and hungry.

Worst breakfast I have ever had! The waitress was horrible and couldn't get anything right and when you asked her to correct it she dissapeared. An egg breakfast is hard to ruin but they managed to do so. Stay away from the bagel with cream cheese they spread butter all over it and the sausage was disgusting and not even cooked all the way.

How do you judge Cosmo's? It's a typical Greek diner, and it's wildly popular with the senior citizen crowd. It's kind pointless to even review Cosmo's, for this reason. Atmosphere: Typical diner, but clean and not at all run-down. Obviously a well kept-up place. Food: Eh... not objectionable. Typical diner fare. I had a sandwich that was basically an imitation Capriotti's Bobby sandwich, but not as good. Still, it was kind of what you'd expect from a diner. The coffee tasted good. Service: This is why I'm even bothering with this review. We got terrible service. Our server (slightly heavy-set lady with short white hair, maybe around 50) was not exactly rude, but very unsmiling with us. And after she dropped off the food (which took a while for being two sandwiches and a bowl of soup), she didn't come near our table for an hour. Not to offer us more coffee, not to offer us a check after we'd obviously been done with our food (napkins on top of our plates, plates pushed towards the edge of the table) for a really, really long time. I'd see her come to another table or stand around the kitchen doors chatting with other servers, and I'd try to get her attention, but she just wasn't having it. Finally I had to ask the host (possibly the owner) if he could get her to bring me a check. And even then it took another 10 minutes to get her. Meanwhile, the server in the section next to us kept looking apologetically in our direction - like she knew we were being ignored and felt bad about it but couldn't do anything about it. And it was not busy at all. There were about 8 tables taken up in the place, but I think there were 4 servers. There was no good reason why she wouldn't come within 20 feet of our table, for an hour. At this point I should say that my grandmother is a regular there, and my grandmother doesn't tip well (like many people in their 90s, I suspect). The only reason I can think of that the waitress avoided us was that she must have known my grandmother (who is a very sweet, beloved lady even if she tips 10-15%), and avoided us because of the tip assumption (and actually, I handled the tip and gave her 25%, though she didn't earn it). Part of me thinks you can't entirely fault someone for not being an attentive server when dealing with a notorious under-tipper. But a larger part of me thinks she took that attitude to a new level. When she finally brought us a check, it took 30 seconds out of her day. Why not just send us on our merry way if you dislike serving my grandmother so much? And if I'm way off base here and it had nothing to do with my nonagenarian grandmother, then it was just extremely poor service, period.

Old school diner. I love going here for breakfast on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Their breakfast sausage links are really, really delicious! The wait staff is polite, prompt, food comes out fast. It's good to know this place is still around!

Excellent food for a diner. The chicken croquettes were flavorful without being not too mushy. The bread is served piping hot with butter. Others in my party were impressed with the seafood (fried fish, shrimp and crabcake with real crab.

It's not just a diner, its a really good diner. Try the specials any time of day and breakfast is a must! You'll feel like family in 5 minutes. I wouldn't go anywhere else for comfort food..... or dessert!!!!

Greek Diner. Typical Diner decor and atmosphere. Prices are very good. Hearty-sized portions. Mostly locals. I have been there a few times before but for some reason, the bread they served last night was like they just finished baking it and just brought it out of the oven. Spread some whipped butter over it and bam all of a sudden 2 portions of bread gone. I had the Sheppard's Pie (Ground beef, corn, string beans, carrots at the bottom of a deep dish with some sauce, smothered with Mashed potato on top and then baked. Served with side of brown gravy and side salad or veggies.) I don't know if I was hungry or it was that good, but I finished every bit of it. Very good. Reminds me of Hamburger Helper. $9.50 Dishes I have tried: Chicken Pot pie (Good) Beef Stew (Good) They also have traditional Greek food like Pastichio & Mousakka.

Even though I haven't lived in Delaware for 5 years, I couldn't resist reviewing this place!! My family, who all still lives in Delaware, loves Cosmo's!! It's the place to go for yummy greek food....we've been going there since we were kids. Definitely a regulars place,...more diner style, and not upscale in any way,...but homey and cozy....

My family and I go to Cosmo's for breakfast every other Sunday. The food is better than typical diner food and you can't beat the price. Since we are 'regulars' the waitstaff is just so friendly. Whether you live in DE or are just stopping through, Cosmo's is a great breakfast spot!
