Delicious bread, baked goods, soups, and sandwiches! Big Sky Bread is a great place to stop into when your in the mood for some fresh baked goodness! All breads are baked fresh! You get quality, fresh, artisan bread. I haven't tried a bread here that I didn't like! They make delicious sandwiches and oh my they are tasty! They have ham, turkey, roast beef, pastrami, chicken salad, egg salad, tuna! Multiple types of cheese! Yummy sides such as apples, cantaloupe, carrots, or their fresh homemade chips! They are so so good! The portions are hefty, so prices may seem a bit pricey but you get fresh quality meats and sides, all on that fresh baked bread! It's all quality and delicious! They bake yummy baked goods! Their cookies are all oatmeal based and they are so tasty! They bake brownies, and macaroons, and homemade granola. Yum! Their sweet breads such as blueberry bread, apple, and pumpkin breads are also very good! They do have seating where you can sit and eat in, or you can call ahead and they have your order ready to go. I've always had a good customer service experience. And would recommend this local family bakery!

We do our best to support local businesses whenever possible. And this is another great example of a hard working local business. The breads speak for themselves. Great variety and exceptional taste. Lunches are really good here. Nice selection, everything is fresh and made to order. Yes, you may think that $5.00 is expensive for a 1/2 sandwich BUT you are getting quality over quantity. You are getting fresh baked bread, fresh lunchmeats and great customer service. And YES it is well worth it. Homemade potato chips are insane!! Call ahead with your order for fast and easy pick up. Cash or credit is accepted. Check out their 'day old' shelves for great deals AND put up a day old raisin that will make a crazy good bread pudding. Just good people making good products in your neighborhood. I will continue to rave about their food to friends and frequent here often.

The sandwiches are great and so is the bread. You can't go wrong with a quick lunch here.

I've probably eaten here over 100 times in my life and had yet to review it on yelp (strange I know). After our first choice for Michael G's jaunt to the small wonder for lunch was closed I decided we needed to come to big sky aka sandwich heaven. They bake ALL breads cakes, rolls and sweets on premise DAILY. I always get a half sandwich or soup with bread because the portions are huge. This place never disappoints but tends to get crowded between the hours of 11:45-1:30. They offer call ahead pickup and they have seating if you choose to eat in. Get the Madeline cookies you won't regret it

Love the family staff and superb customer service. Some of the workers are Christian and not afraid to show it. I love the breads and all the choices. There are also wonderful sandwiches as well as soups to hit the spot on a cold winter day.

Big Sky has really great bread in a ton of varieties, everything from crusty Italian, to challah, to sweet loafs, to kamut -- you name it. In March they make Irish soda bread that is to DIE for. They also make granola, which is really delicious, but a little pricey. Their other pastries are just so-so. Don't expect a great muffin or croissant or chocolate-chip cookie. They truly excel at bread baking. They also have amazing sandwiches. Their chicken salad is probably the best I've ever had. You get a choice of which of their homemade breads to have it on too. I always get the sourdough. It's absolutely delicious. They also make their own awesome potato chips, which you can get as a side with your sandwich. Bummer that they are closed on Mondays.

Mmmm... lunch! Great sandwich takeout today from Big Sky. I let me customer order ahead of me, since he knows the menu and what he had sounded great. So I had the same. On their honey wheat bread, turkey and swiss cheese with all the fixings. Yes, spicy mustard, please. Yes, store-made chips, please. And back at the office, I dug in. Oh, my. Very tasty bread, terrific turkey (maybe a little dry but that's okay) and the right kind of stone ground brown mustard with lettuce and tomato and pickle slices. Very yummy. And the chips? Awesomeness.

Pretty basic type bakery and deli. I wasn't blow away but it's nice to have the option of going.

Went to get a breakfast sandwich around 10:35, the cashier said they stopped serving those at 10:30. The cashier then asked the guy who I think was the manager, if they stopped at 10:30. The manager then mumbles something about us missing it, he had his back turned and didn't even acknowledge the question. We then walked out and decided we will not be coming back. Very rude staff.

Haven't been to their cafe, but I buy their really delicious bread at the Fitler square market in Philly. I'm a fan of their 7 grain and more recently French country. It's much better than Metropolitan, LeBus, DiBruno's and other bakeries in the city.

Is there anything more tasty than a chicken salad sammich on their honey wheat bread? Their chicken salad has what you want: chunks of chicken, Hellmann's mayo, a little bit o' celery, and that's it. Simple, easy, tasty, nom. If you order a cup of coffee, you get a free madeliene (it's a cookie), and they make 'em light, buttery, simple, and perfect. Their specialty is obviously bread, but they've got wonderful store-made soups everyday, with hearty vegetarian options, too. Need a dessert? Check out their cookies (their oatmeal raisin cookies are especially rockin'), their homemade granola, or their raspberry walnut ring. (Why no, I didn't eat an entire raspberry walnut ring in a single sitting with my pal Steve... where on earth did you hear that?) Support the local businesses, folks. It's good for ya.

Love the bread! Been here twice now in the last week. The first time, we phoned in an order and they did a great job of getting everything packaged up for us and getting us in to pay and out the door. The Veggie Sandwich was great, with my choice of five veggies on my choice of bread. (you can order a half or a whole sandwich). The sandwiches come with a side - your choice of cantaloupe, carrots or chips. Very nice. The turkey sandwich, was awesome. again, your choice of sides, but nice moist, fresh meats and veggies. The crab and corn chowder was good, but I had hoped for better. Overall, a nice experience and a good dining in experience on my second visit.

I've seen this place grow as a company pretty much since it opened who knows how long ago. It's really awesome to see a local company with good ethics not only stay in business but also become so popular within this typical Suburban hell town. You go, Big Sky. Good for you :] Obviously they have the bread game down. They make anything from traditional crusty European-style breads to American loaves to sweet rolls to dinner rolls to rolls stuffed with delicious things such as olive or spinach and feta...seriously, it's all there. I personally love their grain rolls, but the whole wheat French loaf is so toasty and crusty (although just a tad too sour for my taste) and good...yum! They have a wide variety of desserts too. I love their cookies and pumpkin loaves. They also make homemade granola which people seem to love but meh, I'm not a fan of it. Never stopped my mom from buying it every week when I was growing up, though. Their soups are also realllllly good. I highly recommend their roasted vegetable soup - it's simple but hearty. The vegetable beef and barely soup is also good and filling but I think it could be slightly more savory. The beef is also on the chewy end of the spectrum. Ohhhhh well. I haven't had the sandwiches in years but the chicken salad looked really good so it probably is. Seriously, this is the only place that my family and I ever buy artisan bread at. Everything is made in-house and it's very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Keep local businesses in Delaware alive and go here as often as you can.

Amazing bread, high quality sandwiches. Local business I feel good giving my money to. The honey whole wheat is phenomenal. The turkey on the the sandwich has always been delicious. Why 4 stars and not 5? The people working behind the counter look a bit like bums. I get that you're baking bread all day and are bound to get flour all over yourself so I'm not expecting you to be 100% clean or dressed to impress but perhaps a uniform T-shirt or something to make it look a little better.

We get our BSB fix at the West Chester PA farmers market on Saturdays. We really like using the raisin Challa for french toast. The BEST bread I have ever used for this! The walnut raisin was too dense for french toast but made a good regular toast. She thought the cranberry orange scone "pretty good" while I did not like the cinnamon roll. It just did not have enough sugar to balance the sugar for my taste.

The guy who runs this joint always seems like he's in a bad mood. Or maybe it's just me picking up stray negative vibes. Either way, the bread that Big Sky makes is the real deal: Fresh, original and totally homemade. The sandwiches are priced inexpensively for the serving/portion you get. Had their homemade soup and it was pretty darn tasty. Don't get over here too often, but when I do I'm never disappointed.

Good-quality breads and rolls; a variety of muffins, scones, etc.; nice homemade(?) granola; and, at lunchtime, overstuffed sandwiches. The loaves of fruit bread are a favorite of mine. Prices aren't cheap, though. Certainly worth a visit when you get a baked-goods craving.
