Wow, that was a great sub. Hoagie. Sandwich. Whatever you call it, this was tasty. I followed the Yelp crowd and went with the Chicken Diablo. It was quite hot, with a Buffalo sauce that was nearly straight Tabasco. Whew! Plenty of chicken and cheese on here and the sweet peppers were very tasty. Even the Primo (medium) size is a goodly amount of food here.

Even though I love these hoagies I have the following complaints about this particular location. 1.) all my co-workers and I wanted for dinner was Italian hoagies to the hospital where we work. It took a lot of work in order to find someone to go pick them up because they wouldn't deliver to us, even thought my one co-worker begged and told them how hungry we were. 2.) when the order got here, they forgot to put oil on two of the hoagies. 3.) they forgot to give us our hot, sweet peppers and long hots on the side. And we paid $1.00 for the long hots! 4.) they didn't know what a sarcone's roll was. This is a problem.

Nothing beats a Primo! The bread rocks. My go to is the chicken Diablo. This Primo is a lot better than some. Always clean. Friendly staff and weekly specials that I feel other locations do not have.

We really enjoy Primos. My favorite is the Turkey Schwartzie. They also have one of the best meatball hoagies in the area. They have the best choice of hoagies. If you want something different then just the regular sandwiches that most of the other restaurants have this is the place to go.

I never have a bad sandwich at Primos. Certainly worth the premium price!

I dream about their Sharp Italian. I always say I am going to try something else. But I never do. Why mess with perfection! The roll is perfect - not a spongy subway type mess. The hoagie you eat from Primo will become your basis for comparison for all future hoagies

Had a chicken parm sandwich in early April. It was dry, and burnt around the edges and I could not finish it. I hadn't been to this particular shop in a few years as the 2 times prior , after getting home, I discovered they didn't get my order right and I had to drive back. I moved from the area, but am now back. I decided to try again in April and it looked different on the inside so I thought maybe it was under new management. Whether it is or not, it will be my last time.

I don't even like hoagies and I so love Primo. We stopped by the "quant" Claymont location today for lunch where my co-worker frequents and is known by name. The 2 ladies who man the counter at lunchtime are very nice and funny. I got a (basic) Turkey wrap and he got a Sharp Italian wrap. I love that they offer wraps now, because the bread is very heavy and chewy - yummy - but filling. Also - if they happent o be hot and fresh (which they were today) grab a cookie - I got white chocolate macadamia - and oh, wow!

Hoagies were very good. They don't skimp on the meat and make to order. Service was nice, personable. Who knew you could find a good hoagie in Delaware. LOL Oh, they are a bit on the pricey side.

A little pricey, but the piled on Thumann deli meat and huge sesame seed buns really set it off. My favorites are the Mild Sharp Italian and Buffalo Cutlet.

This is a small store in downtown Claymont with parking behind. I had an Italian hoagie and a bologna and cheese hoagie. Those were pretty good and service was good too. The large size hoagie is probably a good deal since it can make more than one meal. I probably would return if it wasn't a bit out of the way from my usual travels.

Great hoagies. Lots of the best meat I've ever had. The stuffed olives are delicious too.

Welcome addition to the hoagie/sub scene in Delaware. It's a local chain, but they make some consistently killer hoagies. Fresh, crunchy bread (at times even a bit tough/chewy) and even fresher lunchmeat. The hoagies they make are no-nonsense and Hungry-Man style meals. My fave is the Turkey Schwartzie and the Turker Diablo. Very filling, very good. I usually order ahead for quick take-out. This outfit does hoagies right! Alongside Capriotti's, they may be best place in First State to pick up an awesome sub/hoagie/whatever-you-call-it.
