I ordered a Iced Green Tea, and found it very refreshing after a short walk in town. My family and I went to sit outside, after noticing the spectacular view of the red rocks. My family ordered a Mocha Iced Blend, Mint Chocolate Iced Blend, Tropical Smoothie, and a bottle of water. The two Iced Blends were very good, tasted a little like the Java Chip Frap from Starbucks. The smoothie was a little too creamy, as I prefer smoothies to taste more like fruit and less like cream. Overall, I enjoyed this cafe as it's a nice place to stop and have a cold, refreshing drink. The view on it's own would be five stars.

Being in the heart of Sedona, let's face it. It's a tourist trap. The Pink Java Café is no different. It's brightly colored and part of the Pink Jeep tours company. When you order, they specifically ask if you are going on a tour. (Maybe a discount is offered?) However, I really wanted coffee and this was the closest place. The menu is small and basic. Hot or iced coffee drinks, smoothies, and bagels. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my husband ordered a smoothie. The drinks were made quickly and we were on our way. After ordering, we sat outside on the patio and took in all the splendor. The view is great. Unfortunately, my drink wasn't great. The espresso wasn't strong or flavorful at all - my latte tasted like slightly sweet milk with a splash of coffee. Ick. My husband thought his smoothie was okay. (Neither of us finished our drinks and that's a first.) Overall, I would not go back. If I want coffee, I will try another place.

12/30/2010 I only had a hot jasmine tea here (might have been Tazo or some other well known brand). It was very good but the view from the terrace is why you should come here.

Went to Sedona with my boyfriend for his birthday and we stopped in to try it out. Best coffee I have had in a long time. :)

Amazing pastries with locally roster coffee. A quick walk for my hotel room to this Java goodness!!!

A good iced latte was exactly what we needed on a hot day, and they make great iced coffee. But it's really about the amazing view as you sit outside under the shade of an umbrella and take in the mountain scenery. This is what Sedona is really all about. What a great refresher!

Another amazingly delicious coffee from pink java! ! I will be back in a couple weeks for Christmas with my family and this is a must see and must taste for anyone visiting!

I am a local in town and I love getting coffee at Pink Java. Usually there is a woman working there named Janet, she is very sweet and you can tell she works hard. Most of the time when I go in there she's working by herself! That woman can get flooded with 10 walkin's and still get everyone's order in a timely manner. It makes me question the management at that company that they would only have one person on staff during such busy hours. Still a good place to get coffee.

Not a fan, the register girl tried to charge me $18 for a small chai latte and a large coffee with and an add shot. When I asked her why so much she had an attitude. Once we went over what I ordered she reluctantly charged me $8. The lid for my coffee kept falling off once I left and got all over the place. They might have good coffee but I wouldn't know since my experience was so bad.

of course - this is part of Pink Jeep Tours.... Beautiful view on the back patio - you can enjoy your delicious hot or cold beverages or yummy paninis. I had a fab rooibos iced tea here!

So it was COLD the last time I went to Sedona. In fact it snowed.for the first time of the season. This spot has a great view of the uptown area, mountains, and has an amazing patio perfectly situation for photo ops. Pink Java offers hot chocolate, coffee, and snacks . We opted for Hot Chocolate and this wasn't your ordinary hot chocolate. I opted for raspberry and tried the other person with me's white chocolate. Both were declious. If you need a hit of caffeine or just a warm up, this is a convenitiently located spot.

The Pink Java Cafe is conveniently located immediately next door to the Pink Jeep Tours office, has lots of outdoor seating with wonderful views, and the prices are reasonable. I am not a coffee drinker, but they have a small variety of scones and such available as well, so if you're waiting for your tour, this is probably a reasonably place to spend your wait.

First of all, Sedona is one of the best places in the world. Very nice people, great shops, beautiful downtown, and with slide rock nearby, its got plenty of attractions. The cafe is just as amazing. Good prices, and great food! Very friendly staff, and if your lucky enough to get a table out the back, there's a beautiful view of "snoopy rock" and if you look closely enough you can sometimes see people climbing to the peak.

Upon first impression, PJC is just another overpriced coffee spot in Sedona brought on by sky high rents and tourist demand. Every now and then, my wife and I will venture uptown on a mini vacation for a couple of hours. It's quite astounding how most of the tourist trade is concentrated in this small area of Sedona. It's a place where locals can go and almost hide out because you rarely run into other locals unless they work in one of the shops or restaurants. It's fun to watch visitors enjoying our beautiful little town. Pink Java has an extraordinary location with panoramic vistas of the Red Rocks and a relatively uncrowded surround outdoor terrace overlooking Oak Creek and L'Auberge Resort. The prices are high . . . probably a dollar or two more than average . . . but looking at those pretty red rocks isn't actually free. My iced Americano was pretty good, not diluted by the ice . . . could still taste the bold espresso but the real winner was the peach raspberry smoothy my wife ordered. Made with fresh frozen peach slices, whole raspberries and apple juice, it grabbed my taste buds with refreshing coolness and authenticity unlike those flavored, artificial mixes offered at the big name joints on every street corner and shopping mall. If you want a cup 'o Joe with views on the side, this is the place in Sedona although Wildflower just up the road a piece has some pretty glorious vistas as well.

Look for the pink "pigs" (javalinas) on the street. Wonderful views of the skyline. Coffee and cold mixes as well. Friendly, they take plastic and have bathrooms available downstairs.

Smoothies : Mostly ice and cheap apple juice, not what to expect for the price. The fruit was also frozen. Coffee drinks : Too sweet.

Decent pricing for coffee in a touristy place. Their coffee are about Starbucks level, just a dash better. Price range is about he same as Starbucks as well. I would come here if Starbucks was next door. This place does have a really Great view over watching trees and cabins. With the mountains and rock formations right across. Really awesome to stay for an afternoon relax time or nice breakfast. Recommended coming here!!

The panini sandwich was good. Their teas are fresh brewed and delish. The patio view was the best part. The food was 3 stars but I gave it 4 for the view

Booked a jeep tour, showed up early, groggy and hungry. Decided to stop here to fuel up, 5 minutes and $40 later we walked out with a couple waters, coffee, pastries and a souvenir water bottle. Did the trick.

Check in and get 10% off- Definitely Caramel macchiato - had it 2 days in a row! Not too sweet or bitter.. Perhaps this drink is better than Starbucks?!?! They should have one near my house... :)

I arrived very early for my tour and in dire need of caffeine, so once I had checked in I headed to Pink Java. If you are going on or have just been on a tour you get a 10% discount. I ordered a caramel macchiato, which was really good, exactly what I needed on a cold day. The service was okay, she was friendly but she seemed rushed and I was the only one in there. I headed to the outside seating and sat down and wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings until the caffeine kicked in. Once I started looking around I was blown away by the views, it was absolutely gorgeous! The sky was bright blue without a cloud to be seen. I started talking to a couple and oddly enough the woman not only knew where I was from, she is planning on moving here. (I live in a small town of 12k in the Texas hill country, not many have even heard of it) Normally I would give this spot 4 stars, but the views were so spectacular that I added another star. It was a great start to a wonderful tour!

This coffee shop is way too overrated. I really dont know why they have good reviews about their "coffee" and "good services." First off, the barista in this coffee shop does NOT know how to make a simple iced americano. As a barista myself, I know how a regular iced americano should taste like. I ordered three small iced americanos and one iced caramel macchiato. They should make 2 shots of espresso for each drink but we almost did not taste coffee (This is not the matter of the bean they use, it's the matter of how many shots they put). Our coffees were too way weak. I told the barista the coffee was too weak that I could not even taste caffeine, then she looked very irritated and said "what do you want me to do? You want me to make another shot for $1?" Really? Is this the "good service" attitude towards customers? I don't think so. And evem with the extra shot, my coffee was still mediocre. :/ Def not coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic view - plenty of seating overlooking the gorgeous Sedona. Less than fantastic staff - but only because these ladies need to smile. We felt like we were an annoyance, what with our ordering a drink and two sandwiches at lunch time...you know, those two things they sell that keep them employed. Great sandwiches though - tons o' cheese and a delighftul pesto/basil-y spread that I didn't notice was included on the sandwich, but was an excellent addition. No bathroom though - have to walk about a block if the need arises.

It was ok.. The raspberry nutroll was good, as was the coffee, although $9 for both was a bit pricey for the quality and size. Service was subpar; I suppose I may just be used to frequenting coffee shops that aren't flooded with tourists.

Well, its cute and has a nice patio with great views (although where in Sedona are there not great views?) That's about it. I'm surprised the ratings are so high, the customer service was terrible. Attitude and limited flexibility with customizing drink orders. You're providing a service and product. If it's something feasible then there shouldn't be a problem.. They didn't seem to be experienced or well knowledgeable baristas and seemed to have little common sense with simply modified orders. They messed up both my order and my friend's, an iced mocha latte. We were given just an iced plain latte. We already had such difficulty and unpleasantness at initial interaction that it was too undesirable to go back and ask them to correct it. I definitely wont be back when I take visiting guests to Sedona. Starbucks is right down the street and just a great of a view. While its nice to support local businesses, good ol' Starbucks focuses importance in training employees for good customer service and can make just about anything.I prefer to get my caffeine without attitude and at least one of the orders done correctly.

You can't beat the views here! The coffee is nothing I would typically go out of my way for, and the service leaves much to be desired.

For lunch. I had a panini sandwich and it was very good. At that time, I was in hurry and did not have time. Panini was in the glass cabinet, so I thought it was ready to go and eat. However, it was not. They cook paninis as having orders. In the circumstance, I was so worried as if I could be late, but in usual situation, it is wonderful. In my opinion, food price in Sedona is mostly overpriced and especially in uptown. Therefore, I will say their price is a decent within Sedona price. View from their balcony is very good and their espresso drinks is as nice as Starbucks too. Yes, I think I will come back again for the panini and drinks.

Simple 1-2 step below: 1. Great view. It's situated right next to a "drop" right down to some valley view.. so get a smoothie and find a seat under one of them umbrellas. It's my first time here in sedona yesterday (memorial day) and man, this was a great place to stop by and just chill out -- take a break before you start walking around and shop til you drop. 2. Great smoothie. I got a tropical smoothie, which is their name for a pineapple mango smoothie. It was done just right -- not too sweet and not too frozen. Excellent refreshment on a hot day. Highly recommended.

My bad. I ordered an iced tea and then realized 1. their pastry case was almost empty and 2. they didn't have indoor seating. Ooooops. So, I ended up with a lone blueberry muffin. That said, the blueberry muffin was tasty, not what I wanted, but good and the iced tea was great. Though, I got major attitude (what is with Sedona?) for only wanting plain black and not their fancy flavors. However, I wish other Yelpers had mentioned the lack of indoor seating. It was like 20 degrees out. I had (based on the positive reviews) planned to do work for a couple hours and get a few snacks/drinks here, but, that didn't happen. So, I bundled up and stuck it out until I finished my muffin and then moved on.

Not a fan. Walked from Wildflower to here and regretted it. Hot chocolate was too sweet. Mocha barely has any espresso taste. Kid tossed his hot chocolate and I ended up tossing the mocha.

Good healthy smoothies! They use frozen fruit juice or soy milk and ice. The ice does water it down a little, but they were good. The place has amazing views, so its a great place for a break and smoothie

Very good coffee and the best view ever. Recommend to come early morning or sunset time.

Not the best coffee in Sedona, but this location had the best sitting area to enjoy an unobstructed view. Spent more than a few mornings here on two trips. Excellent location for our pre-hiking coffee fix. Staff seemed a little "spacey", but is that all that rare in Sedona?

cute little coffee shop with absolutely GORGEOUS views of the mountains .... grab your coffee and take a seat outside for a great, peaceful morning :)

My 2 experiences here have been awful...terrible customer service from rude girls that clearly have other places they would rather be. They messed up my drink on the second time and never offered to remake it instead just gave me a blank look. They have a lax we don't care attitude, and they know that they are a tourist trap. The view is the only nice part.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you're visiting uptown! While their selection of pastries and drinks could have been a bit higher, and the prices could have been a bit lower, Pink Java Cafe is definitely worth the visit for their wonderful outdoor patio and view of Sedona's many red rock formations. I had a hot chocolate, and my friend ordered a vanilla coffee drink (I am so bad with coffee drink names because I never drink coffee!). We were both very satisfied and enjoyed sitting outside, watching the sun sink lower into the horizon and color the rocks all around. Even if you don't order anything, you can still stop by to enjoy the view, but it'll be all the better with a warm drink after a long day of hiking!

Everything about this place is, well, pink. Even the barista station is bright pink. Ordered a large iced chai and it was pretty good. Not the best Chai I've had but Pink Java Cafe gets major points from me for its view of the red rocks and for having packets of Stevia. Good call.

  • Kelly M.

Our smoothies were excellent, as well as the scone. We enjoyed the view sitting outside. It is rather pricey though, $16 for two smoothies and one scone. It was a nice treat after a trail run.

This is a great place to have coffee and enjoy the scenery. I had an early morning start and wanted to relax some more before more hikes so I went on yelp and found a few places for coffee.. The other ones nearby were closed from where I was standing and Pink's Java Cafe happened to be across the street. I was happy to see the usage of ECO-Friendly products =) The coffee wasn't strong enough for me so I definitely will be back to try an expresso on my next visit.

The Pink Java Cafe was one of the only places open at 7:30am. Since we were about to go on an all day Pink Jeep Tour, we desperately needed some sustenance before hitting the road. Although this place is small, they have a magnificent patio with a breathless view. We grabbed our drinks and some of their fresh muffins and sat outside and enjoyed the sights. Great service by the way!

  • Jamie R.

The scenery was nice (but where isn't it in this part of Sedona?) Very picturesque, cute location. I got a blended chai that was pretty good, but a little weak on the chai flavor. The store was very clean. Would have been 4 or 5 stars if the workers didn't look like they hated us.

Friendly staff, good pastries, good fru-fru coffee.

  • Bryan A.

Checked it out again while up there for a few weeks and nothing has changed. Average coffee that is overpriced, staff who want to remind you that you are a tourist (even though you may actually have a home there) and pimping a Jeep ride while you are waiting. A sling as Sedona has a strong tourist crowd who want a coffee and don't want to go across the street to Starbucks, Sunflower, or one of the small shops they will do just fine.

The only pink lamarOcco in the world. Very good coffee beans. The latte was splendid. Full bodied coffee. Great red rock views.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful places to enjoy a cup of coffee at. Right at the corner of the main downtown of Sedona is Pink Java Cafe. Nice selection of baked goods and the coffee is really good. Grab your drink and head outside to admire the majestic red rock mountains. Good service and reasonable prices.

On a recent trip to Sedona for New Years I stopped into the Pink Java Cafe to grab a quick noon time bite...the sandwich (American panini) was amazing! The chai tea also very good and the view undeniably spectacular.

when we first arrived, the young girl was willing to assist with order. we ordered a large latte and a chai latte frap. they have chairs and umbrellas outside with a wonderful view of the mountains. the drinks were yummy and it felt relaxing enjoying the view.
